Author note: Mi Liu soul force is 300. Since he cannot cultivate his qi energy nor magic power, his soul force is at 0. I didn't correctly explain so, the gauntlets are the only item that boost his actual soul force. Hope you enjoy the chapter!

A young girl and boy advanced and a large space inside the coliseum has been made for the fight. The young boy had blond hair, nobles' clothes and a proud expression on his face. The girl with blond long hair and a European looking face, was wearing clothes that look like a priest. She had complicated expression unlike the young boy. The coliseum was about 100m2 with massive rocks everywhere. Inside the coliseum was like a desert with the boy and the girl facing each other and the others people surrounding them. People murmuring amongst each other's and noises could be heard on the surroundings.

"Waah It's Dean vs Mei! It's going to be an amazing fight!"

"Dean, the son of the marquis Dao against Mei of the sacred temple? No way!"

"I am with you Mei! So, what if it's Dean..."

"Young master fight! We're with you!"

After around few minutes, a teacher walked in the center and spoke.

"Match, Mu Dean versus Zhu Mei. Match start!"

The teacher launched a fireball in the sky and quickly retreated. The fireball went high in the sky and exploded signaling the start of the fight.

"Earth Impact!"

Without wasting any time, Dean rushed toward Mei with a dazzling speed and with qi energy concentrated in his fist and hit below Mei's feet.

"BOOM" A huge explosion resounded and in Mei's location, a huge crack appeared and smoke covered the location. When the smoke finally disappeared. Mei was no longer where the huge crack appeared but few meters in the air behind Dean.

Dean wanted to finish the fight quickly, he learned a lot from his family and from generations to generations, every qi fighter knew that against a magus fighter, one need to get close and never let him the opportunity to cast his spell. But he didn't truly expect Mei to already finished her casting and disappeared.

Once he turned his head behind him, multiples light spear suddenly surrounded Mei and with a signal from her hand, all the spear with an astonishing speed rushed towards Dean who quickly adapted somehow and dodged all the spear except one making hitting his left shoulder.

Blood started to drop making him an ugly expression. Dean quickly concentrated qi energy in both of his palm. suddenly, with a strong kick on the ground amplified with qi energy, rocks that shattered on the ground started to float and with a strong qi energy surrounding it. Dozens of stones transforming into spikes. The stones suddenly flew towards Mei, showing a complicated expression. She gathered magic power in both of her palms and in front of her, a bright light shield 2m tall appeared in front of her.

"Pang!" "Pang!" "Pang!"

All the stones collided on the shield and not a single scratch could be seen. This time, Dean face was so ugly that you could see few veins popping out of his red face. It was a shame for his family if he couldn't even beat a girl. Dean was the son of the marquis Mu Dao, a strong and proud 1-star expert qi fighter. He was famous around all the Guho empire with all the glory he won in the last war. How could he loses face against a girl? He won't even be able to look at his father eyes correctly! His noble pride won over his body and with the urge to end the fight.

Dean gathered a large amount of qi energy and suddenly jump high in the sky.

"Bloodline power Release: Odin spear!"

Odin spear was a bloodline power among the Mu family for now 200 generations. It was a massive spear about 5m long and with thunder element surrounding the spear with a frightening soul force surrounding the weapon. The Odin spear was ranked as an A rank bloodiness power, it was that kind of power. Dean's father, the marquis Mu Dao, first used the Odin spear in the first war. Transpiercing the whole enemy castle, the wall and the castle, both have been completely destroyed. After the use of the Odin spear, marquis Mu Dao became the great general of the Guho army called the 'God Spear'.

Right after Dean released his qi energy, a massive spear appeared above Dean's hands. People were all shocked seeing such a massive spear. They all knew the God Spear so obliviously they all knew what it was. But the most shocked right not was probably Mei. She never expected him to use his strongest weapon here and now. She also used a lot of magic power enhancing her body and protecting herself with barrier. A lot of sweats drop out of her forehead as she was watching the spear without moving a single step.

When the spear was finally about to hit the young girl, a huge black portal appeared in front of her absorbing the whole spear disappearing without any trace. It was one of the teacher that stopped the fight and announced the result.

"Winner candidate number 54'349 Mu Dean!"

The girl couldn't help but drop her shoulders. A frustrated expression could be seen on her face as she walked towards her friend. The teacher didn't wait and called for 2 others candidates. The fight between the students became less intense but was still amazing to watch. After around fifty matches, the teacher finally called Mi Liu's number.

"Candidate number 503'341, Ky Jian versus candidate number 599'999, Mi Liu!"

Mi Liu and Ky Jian entered in the fighting ground. Both facing each other. A commotion once again could be heard.

"That unlucky fellow... He's again Ky Jian!"

"It's really Ky Jian from the Ky family? No way!"

"This fight is going to be totally one sided I pity that guy."

Such words could be heard. Of course, Mi Liu who heard all those harsh words could only sighed. He was truly unlucky. He did expect to meet a weak fellow and proceeded easily to the third test but it seems like he needed to fight with all his strength. Mi Liu's sense was sharper than most of the students, he didn't even need to heard people talking about soul force of the boy in front of him since he could already sense a huge amount of qi energy within his body. He could only curse his luck while thinking about a way to succeeded the test without showing too much of his strength. Mi Liu only regained his calm after hearing Mi Nyan cheerfully shouted at him.

"Go master! I'm with ya~ Nyaa!"

After quickly glancing at Mi Nyan, he faced Ky Jian who started to introduce himself.

"I hope you won't deceive me. I somehow guess the reason why this girl is following someone as weak as you."

Ky Jian's father was an extremely famous magus researcher. Ky Jian helped a lot of times in his father workshop so his sensing of soul force wasn't weak. He noticed a faint but yet really condensed and strong aura releasing from Mi Liu's gauntlets. He was carefully trying to find how this weapon has been created and who in the world could create a weapon that could compete with his current sword that his father had created for him. As he carefully watches Mi Liu without noticing the people who were all cheering him, the teacher finally walking between them announcing the start of the fight.

"Match, Ky Jian versus Mi Liu. Start!"

The teacher launched once again a fireball in the sky and retreated.

Once the fireball exploded signaling the start of the fight, Mi Liu was already below Ky Jian's location with an insane amount of qi energy within his right fist.

"BOOM" A huge shockwave three times stronger as before resounded.

But After the smoke disappeared from the location, Ky Jian disappeared without letting any trace and Mi Liu was knelling on the ground with countless sharp ice lances transpiercing his body and blood that began to squirt out of his wounds.
