Thanks, everybody for reading this far. Having nearly 400 people following my story is a great shock to me. I know my skills are lacking in some areas. For example, revealing plot points too late, having too much of a slow progression of the plot, and similar things.
However, I truly believe I am improving when compared to my initial chapters. As I said before, this is the first real novel I have been committed to. I have learned tons throughout writing this novel so far that will surely help me both with continuing this story and other stories in the future.

The Concept was interesting enough in both the Original and Side B, but the World Building for both was such a mess it gave me such a headache I had to restart and scrap entire ideas multiple times before I just gave up and started from almost scratch and got something mildly satisfying. After losing one Diabolist to fate, Oren must protect his new asset from those who would hunt her down and kill her so he can find enough magic to complete his quest. However, he is not the only wizard left looking for Diabolists, Diabolists have minds of their own, and, according to him, everyone Oren comes in contact with is a sidewinding, low down, scoundrel. No, I have not abandoned this story! I was hit hard by the economic downturn and high gas prices. I had to change careers and I am Just now starting to write again. Chapters coming.
