"Val!" Before Theo could call her, Vex appeared and call her first.

The Miracle soon gathered around Val. "What happened here?" Vex asked.

"Some stupid idiot tries to take on a fire lizard, but they fucked up and let the lizard get away." Val spat on the ground. "Trash who can't clean up their own mess should just sit back at the camp. They only make it harder for everyone else."

Vex patted her back, but she brushed her hand off. "You shouldn't be too hard on them, Val. No one here is as strong as you." Vex placed her mouth near Val's ear to whisper. "If you stay cold like that, no guy will try to approach you."

Val gave her a cold stare. "I don't need a guy who is weaker than me. He's only going to make my life harder than it already is."

"Ohh. Is it like that? Then what about Theo that made you angry for a whole night?"

Val's ears turned red, bright red. She pulled down her hood so it covered half of her face. Then she pointed at Vex. "W-what D-Don't say that name again Vex! I don't want to remember that ... that ... W-what does he has to do with anything?!!"

"Oh my, oh my! Our little Val is embarrassed." Bry added.

"I-I'm Not! Not! Embarrassed!" Val shouted, but her face betrayed her words.

"Vex!" Theo finally called her.

His shout took the attention of everyone. Val's body froze, and her mind too. Her face became even redder. Luckily for her, she was facing away from him, allowing her to retain her rational mind.

She was about to fly away when Vex caught her hand and forced her to stay. "Where are you going, Val?"

"L-Let me go Vex!" She yelled.

"Hey, we're on a mission here!" Val stopped freaking out after Vex reminded her about their current mission. She was still trying to get as far away from Theo, however.

After making sure that Val won't run away, Vex moved her sight to Theo, who was walking toward them with his team behind him. She waved her hand. "Theo! What a 'coincidence'." Vex smirked, knowing that Theo had planned this meeting.

Theo laughed. "Haha. Yeah, who would have thought we would meet here. How's your team doing?"

Theo's eyes wandered, observing the 'Miracle'. Val was facing away from him. Sistina was circling above them, occasionally she looked down to check on things, but she wasn't interested with Theo, much to his disappointment. Tomoe was avoiding eye contact and Bry was looking at Theo with an unsettling smile on her face. Definitely not the smile of someone who was interested in him romantically. The smile was almost malevolent.

Did his plan of using Vivi's power work? Did Bry figure that out? There was not enough evidence to back that up yet.

Suddenly, Sistina landed on Theo. She sat on his shoulder, placing his head between her thighs. She then sniffed his hair and looked at the sky as if wondering something.

"I like you. Let's mate." She said with a neutral tone and without any expression. Even her eyes were blank, it didn't show any enthusiasm.

This was unexpected, for Theo, Vex, and everyone else. It was too fast, but then again, no one there has any idea how a harpy relationship works.

"What?!!" Lyana, Tomoe, Val, and Vivi shouted the same question. They looked at each other. But Val still facing away from him.

"Tina, get away from that ... Monster!" Val shouted without even looking at them.

"Don't worry Val, I'm not going to steal him from you." Sistina sniffed his hair again. She had an ecstatic expression on her face when she did that, which surprised even Vex who never seen her make an expression like that. "Once I'm done with him, you can have him."

"S-Steal? Y-You know what, do whatever you want! But don't blame me if that ... monster do something to you."

"Val. You do realize that I want him to do something to me, right?" Sistina asked calmly. Her question made Val quiet. Realizing her own mistake made Val more embarrassed and red-faced than she already was.

"Well. I take them as a compliment. Can you get down from there please?" Theo asked while smiling.

He actually enjoyed the feeling of her sitting on his shoulder. Since her thigh was still that of a human, he could feel her soft and plump thigh pushing against the side of his head. It was like a warm pillow that he wanted to hug.

"No." Sistina replied with a quick answer. She clung tighter to his head and sniffed again."I like this position."

'Yes!' He shouted inside his mind. "It can't be helped then."

"What do you mean can't be helped?" Lyana asked. She rammed her elbow into his side, but he was using an armor and all that she did was hurting herself. Lyana crouched down and blow air to her elbow to reduce the pain.

"Sorry, Theo. I hope you don't mind." Vex apologized to him. "She's always like that. She does whatever she wants."

"I don't mind Vex, she's not heavy. Though did she ever done something like this before?"

"I don't think so.....if you discounted me, that's it."

"Ohh. So you-"

A cough interrupted their conversation. A very fake and deliberate cough. "Ehm! We're on a mission here." Bry said.

"Oh yeah, sorry Bry." She looked at Theo again. "Hey, why don't we work together? We ought to accomplish more like that."

"Sure why no-"

"No fucking way!!!!" Val screamed. Still facing away from Theo. "If you all think that I will stay with him for even one more second, you're all wrong!!!"

Vex rubbed Val's head. "Snap out of it Val, you're not a kid." She sighed. "Theo, can you lead the way?" He nodded. It took a lot of effort with Sistina clinging to his head. "Val, you can guard and watch the rear."
