《God Blade (Hiatus)》Chapter 18: Night Trouble

The sun had already gone down, but the street of Capital was as crowded as it ever is. Theo, Lyana, and Vivi had finished with their shopping and was about to return to the inn where they stay. Vivi skipped and hummed as she walked, happy with her new clothes. A blue tunic that she wore over a shirt. It was simple but much better than her previous clothing. Seeing her happy brought a smile to Theo face, who kept his eyes fixed on her since they left the slaver's guild. Much to Lyana annoyance, he hasn't even taken a glance or spoke to her since Vivi was there. 'What's wrong with him? He's all nice to me before. Now that he got.....WAIT! Why the heck does I want his attention? WAAA! WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?' She embarrassed herself with her own thought. 'No.No. That's not right. I'm keeping my eyes on him to make sure that Vivi doesn't do anything nefarious.' "We're here," Theo said as he opened the room door. Lyana was so absorbed in her own thought, she didn't realize they have arrived at the inn. "BED!" Vivi jumped to the bed as soon as she saw it. Theo laughed at Vivi action. "So which is Theo Sama's bed?" "The right one" He answered. Vivi immediately jumped over to his bed and hugged the pillow. "Finally something soft." She said happily. "Wha? Why are you sleeping there?!" Lyana shouted. "Why? Theo sama bought me for night service isn't he?" "Of co—mmmmm" Before Theo could answer, Lyana covered his mouth with her hand. "NO! He bought you because he felt sorry for you." Lyana brought her mouth near his ear and whispered. "Don't even try to sleep with her, you man whore." Lyana pulled back her head. "You sleep with me, Vivi." She said with a fake smile. "WHY? I don't want to sleep with you!" Vivi pouted. "I want to sleep with Theo-sama." She trashed around his bed. Lyana gave Theo a death stare, enough for Theo to break a sweat. He then approached Vivi and rubbed her hair. "Follow Lyana's order okay?" She sighed. "Okay..." She answered with a disappointed tone. She got down from his bed and walked to Lyana bed. 'Good. One problem solved. For now.' Lyana said in her mind. After that, they went to a tavern to have a dinner. Everyone there stared at them because of Vivi's hair and eye color. Some stared at them with fear of the bad omen Vivi brought. Some stared in astonishment at Vivi unique appearance. Some were dumbfounded of Lyana's beauty. And the women, they stared at Theo with red on their face. They themselves didn't think much about other people stare. As long as they didn't disturb them. Except for Lyana, who hated being the center of attention, especially from humans. What more, those men stared at her with a lustful stare. "Theo, can we get out from this place.....please?" Lyana pleaded to him. Discomfort was clear on her eyes, she didn't want to spend even a second more inside the tavern. "Nope. It's a training for you." Theo smiled wickedly. "Just ignore them Lyana. Pretend as if they aren't there." After dinner, they returned to their room. Vivi was already yawning since they left the tavern. Theo also felt exhausted for some reason. Lyana already felt tired since before, but the exhaustion she felt was not natural. She felt worn out, something that almost never happened before. 'It must be Vivi.' She thought. She observed Vivi as they returned back to the inn, but all she saw was a childish innocent girl. "Vivi you're sleeping with Lyana okay?" He said when they returned to the inn. That was not what he wanted to do, but Lyana's death glare told him everything. "Okay." She answered promptly. Lyana watched her every action since they left the tavern. She was sure she had an ill intent, yet she did nothing suspicious so far. 'Maybe she was on guard. Did she noticed me watching her?' Lyana laid on her own bed and Vivi laid next to her. Vivi fell asleep first while Lyana watched her. "Not sleepy yet Lyana?" He asked. "No." She took a book from her bag. In truth, she was dead tired, but she has to make sure that whatever Vivi planned don't come to fruition. Theo lied on his bed and soon fell asleep, unable to fight his own drowsiness. After making sure that Theo had fallen asleep, Lyana put down the book. "Stop pretending, I know it's you." She said to Vivi. A giggle came from the seemingly sleeping Vivi. "Well, well, someone is smart." Vivi turned toward Lyana. Her ominous violet eyes stared at her, it was as if she stared directly at her soul. "What are you planning?" Lyana asked. She prepared a bolt of magic just in case. "Stupid are you? Demon." Lyana jumped into action. How could she saw through her disguise? No, it doesn't matter. What important was that she stopped Vivi. She brought her arm forward, ready to shoot Vivi with the magic bolt. "Sleep." Vivi touched her head before she could move a finger. Lyana's consciousness faded. --------- Theo woke up in the middle of the night. His head hazy, his vision blurred, and his chest burning. His crotch also felt uncomfortable. Something wriggled inside his mouth, something soft, something wet, something hot, something good. He forcefully opened his eyes and was met with a pair of deep violet eyes. 'Ah, Vi....Vivi...Vivi?' His mind snapped awake. Theo pushed Vivi off his body and into the bed. She was naked without a piece of clothes on her, showing her glistening body soaked by sweat. Her face red and her mouth opened with drool coming out from it. He realized that he was also naked. There was a strange feeling of arousal inside of him, like a boiling pot of water ready to burst. Vivi's body wasn't that great. Her breast was small and so was her ass. Even though her face was top-class, it shouldn't be enough to make him that excited. She moaned. "Ahhh~ Theo-Sama finally awake~" Theo pinned her body on the bed and tied both of her hand to the bed frame using the clothes that she discarded. "Theo-Sama~ please don't be too rough." Contrary to her expectation, Theo jumped off the bed. He examined his surrounding. Lyana was in a deep sleep in her own bed. "What a useless companion," Theo complained. Theo put on his shirt again, covered Vivi naked body with a blanket and sat on Lyana bed facing Vivi. "Theo-Sama~ please come back here." She wriggled her body and pleaded seductively. "Do you think I'm stupid?" Theo asked with a serious voice. "Do you think I don't realize your mind magic? Cancel all your magic, that's an order!" Magic poured out from the collar around Vivi's neck, but before Vivi could react or do anything to answer his word, Lyana woke up. She observed the room. Her eyes shot open as she saw what had happened. She punched Theo in the face with her magic reinforced hand, nearly knocking him out cold. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" Theo yelled back after he recovered from the punch. "What was that for? For you trying to bed an innocent girl of course!" "What kind of innocent girl rape a guy in his sleep?!" "HAHAHAHAAH!" Vivi burst in laughter seeing them arguing. Theo and Lyana turned to face Vivi who was tied to the bed. "Oh yeah, I forget that she cast a magic on you," Lyana said. "Yeah. See that I'm not the one who is wrong?" Theo sat again on Lyana's bed while grabbing the place where Lyana punched him before. It was not too bad, he was able to protect himself using aura right before Lyana hit her. "So Vivi, if that is your real name. Why do you do that? Controlling me with your mind magic? Also..you're not from this world aren't you?" Vivi's eyes widen as she heard his question. "H-H-How did you know? Don't tell me you're also.." "No, but I've met someone, a friend, like you before. You people have... a strange aura around you. Unique aura." Vivi looked the wall as if staring at something in the distance. Her eyes solemn with a tint of sadness."You're right. I'm not from this world. Unlike the summoned heroes who are summoned to this world because of a ritual, I was dragged to this world for some reason I don't even know." She took a deep breath and let out a long sigh. "I was reborn as a baby. My memories didn't come back to me until I was five, and it didn't come back all at once." "You have a Magic Class 3 talent, how can someone like you get captured?" Theo asked, unconcerned about the sadness on her face. Vivi face returned to normal after hearing Theo's cold voice. "You're not as nice as I think you are, Theo-Sama." "Hah! If I can't see through women's acting like that I won't have that many women." He answered full of pride. She giggled. "As expected of Theo-Sama. You're right, I didn't miss my old life. It was a pure mess." Vivi turned her face to Theo. "I'm more curious to why Theo-Sama just goes along with my trick," Vivi replied. "Theo, you realize she's controlling you?" Lyana cut, she was surprised. "You think? I already have a mind control resistance. When I entered the tent, I felt a mind magic on me. A very subtle yet strong one, and most importantly, one that I never felt before, a unique magic. I decided to investigate it. When I found out the source to be you, I thought that I might as well play the fool to check how far is the extent of your power. You are much more powerful than I expected. What are you planning on doing after doing it with me? Controlling me to release you? Kill me?" "No. I just want to service Theo-Sama." "Say the truth. That's an order." He said with a serious tone. Magic poured out from Vivi's slave collar, but it did nothing, proving that she didn't lie. "It's the truth! The first time I saw you, Theo-Sama, my heart is already yours. It's a love at the first sight! You're so handsome and charming. In my previous life, no one can even get close to you. You're like the peak of handsomeness! When I saw you I want to be yours! I thought that you won't be interested in this small body of mine, so I did all that!" She spoke earnestly without an ounce of lie or trickery. Theo laughed hard. "That's the first time I'm on the receiving end of that kind of compliment, but what kind of reason is that? That's like, super convenient for me. And I quote my father, 'Do you think the readers are going to just accept that?" "Uhh, what are you talking about Theo?" Lyana said. She and Vivi were confused by his question. "Neither do I, but that's what my father always said when something super convenient happened." Theo clapped his hand to change the subject. "Anyway, the trainer and those who bought you before, you killed them?" "Bleh." She opened her mouth and let her tongue out in disgust. "They're disgusting old men who have a thing for young girls. They deserve to die! Though I must say that It's fun controlling a person." She said seriously. "Anyway, I'm sorry for doing that to you Theo Sama, please don't sell me again." Theo walked to his own bed. "Why would I sell you? You're cute and you're talented." He untied Vivi from the bed and caressed her cheek. "If you want to, you just have to ask me. Nicely." Vivi blushed, red all the way to her cheek. "Then.. I-I-I want you, Theo Sama." "Are you kidding me?!" Lyana yelled. "She tricked you and instead of punishing her, you give her what she wants?!" He turned toward Lyana. "It's not like I don't want it in the first place." She looked at Vivi again. "You are correct Vivi, I bought you for the night service. There's a lot of things I want to ask you, but that's for tomorrow. Tonight, let's get to know each other better." Theo removed the blanket that covered Vivi's body and kissed her deep. Lyana watched them in disbelief. That night, Lyana didn't get any sleep because of the rocking bed and the moan.

The Orb Weaver Chronicles
"The Orb Weaver Chronicles contains several major and unique events that may or may not unknowingly intertwines with one another. The author of these chronicles is unknown, although some have hinted at the symbolism behind its name..." - Year unknown, location unknown 9 February 2022 Update: Welcome to the companion short story compilation of my novel trilogy The Shadow Paradigm. This compilation features prequels, sidequels and sequels to the novel's major plotline, as well as featuring a wide range of characters, new and recurring. Prior knowledge of the novel is not necessary as the Orb Weaver Chronicles' short stories are standalone. Once called The Arkesyyan Chronicles, I've deleted quite a few of its old stories. Due to the new avenue and revision, oriented toward more mystery and film-noir ambience, that I took my stories into, I've removed all aliens and overly sci-fi aspects of the whole TSP lineup, so I've updated the Orb Weaver Chronicles accordingly. I hope you enjoy them, and in time, a revised version will also be updated.

Another great war awaits, but will she be able to avert it?Second iteration of the Knight's Fate saga chronologically speaking. Yes I'm starting from the second because the first was an utter failure when I tried to write it, it just didn't fit the mood of a fantasy novel unlike this one. Though don't worry this doesn't mean you can't enjoy this one before I write the first. This is the first story I've actually published so I appreciate any feedback, be it good or bad just let me know what you think.
