Chapter 26 – A Glimpse to Saber Manifestation
Aiden fueled his determination even more after learning that Lia was going to breakthrough.
Now he knew the ritual was going to be realized soon, Aiden found impossible stay around without doing anything.
Having already tried doing everything in his power to guarantee the greatest rate of success possible, Aiden found himself unable of doing anything apart of waiting for the moment when all the materials were reunited.
In that state, Aiden could only try to suppress his emotions using the saber; reason because he said to Lia he was going to practice.
With his head full of different thoughts, Aiden grabbed the saber with his two hands and try clearing his mind of anything but the saber.
With the eyes closed, Aiden raised the saber and slashed downwards with it in a smooth movement, then, without pausing to do anything else, continued moving the saber swiftly to the right.
Remembering each of the movements he practiced from childhood, Aiden continued swinging the saber trying concentrate his mind only in it.
The saber moves, already ingrained in the deep of his muscles, flowed smoothly while Aiden breathed softly in tandem.
Slowly, the movement of Aiden seemed gain an incredible rhythm and evoke a sense of harmony.
At some point, Aiden seemingly forgot about the surroundings and only continued swinging his saber in an unconscious manner.
A powerful saber intent spread in the surroundings silently. Without alerting anyone, the saber intent spread through the streets of the border town of Cali in five hundred meters around Aiden’s house and continued spreading in an unnoticeable manner.
The only people able of feel something off were those with a certain level of cultivation, but even them only felt a small discomfort that disappeared quickly.
Contrary to them, Lia in the kitchen felt a comfortable sensation washing over her but was unable of identify the origin of it, so she simply ignored it.
If an expert would have been here, then he probably would have known that Aiden’s saber intent was astonishingly growing without stop during the time he was practicing the saber.

After a few minutes, the saber intent extended from five hundred meters to a kilometer without stop, then, it continued spreading at the rhythm of Aiden’s saber dance.
Aiden’s movements continued increasing in speed more and more, becoming sharper and stronger with every swing of the saber, the saber intent in the surroundings becoming more noticeable as result.
As of now, even common people were able of feel a slight prickling sensation in their bodies suddenly.
But before they could ask about the origin of it, it disappeared in the same sudden form as it appeared.
Aiden frowned slightly while swinging the saber in the courtyard.
In the middle of the dance with his saber, Aiden suddenly began to feel a sense of discomfort.
The discomfort kept growing the most Aiden used his saber and the stronger the saber intent became.
It was almost as if his method of using the saber were wrong in some place.
Aiden tried persistently to correct the sense of discomfort in his moves without success. Instead, the sense of discomfort became greater and greater with every passing second.
Then, in the middle of swinging his saber, something appeared in Aiden’s mind.
Aiden wasn’t sure about what it was, but the sense of discomfort in his body seemed urge him to use it.
So, use it he did.
Aiden didn’t know what the difference was but the sense of discomfort in his body suddenly disappeared.
Though his movements were identical to before, for some reason the saber intent spread in the surrounding began to retract.
Little by little, the saber intent invading the streets of the town of Cali began to retreat returning to the saber in Aiden’s hands.
Then, when all the saber intent integrated with the saber, a translucid film of sharp energy surrounded the blade and a powerful but almost inaudible saber hum spread in the surroundings…
… And in the same instant when it appeared, it disappeared.
Aiden opened his eyes feeling the sharp energy surrounding the saber disappear, then, with a lost expression, tried to feel the sensation of power from before again, only to be disappointed.

Though he wasn’t sure, he thought he touched the realm of saber manifestation for an instant.
Sadly, in the moment when the saber manifestation appeared, for some reason it dissipated.
Aiden could only look the saber in his hand in daze, unsure of what exactly happened. Then, seeing Lia coming out from the house with an equally puzzled expression, Aide shrugged his shoulders unable of explaining anything to her.
The only thing Aiden knew was that the state of saber manifestation was closer to him than never.
…
Inside a dark room in the basement of a rundown shop, an old man opened his eyes after feeling an almost unnoticeable saber hum.
Looking toward the origin of the phenomenon, the old man could only shake his head in pity after knowing the one responsible for it.
“Such a shame, such a shame…”
Nobody else was in the dark room to hear the exclamations of the old man.
…
In a flying ship a few kilometers away from the city of Cali.
An old man was sitting with the eyes closed together a girl in the bow of a ship.
The old man was using a clean white robe that gave him a feeling of dignity, while the girl, with his beautiful white dress, emitted a lively feeling able of cheer the people in her surroundings.
With his senses alert to guard against any unexpected situation towards the girl looking curiously at the scenery, the old man was able to feel the wave of saber energy spreading from the town.
Making a surprised expression, the old man gazed towards the town with a look of interest in his face.
The girl, seeing the changes in the old man face, spoke using a sweet-sounding voice.
“Grampa, what is wrong?”
“Saber manifestation!” Exclaimed the old man. “Somebody used saber manifestation in the town where we are going!”
Hearing the words of the old man, the girl made an astonished face and cried out.
“Are you telling that there is a saber expert in the town!?”
“… No.” The old man shook his head after thinking for a while. “Though the saber energy is very pure, it’s very weak and unstable, or else I wouldn’t have sensed it. It probably is a junior genius of some family or sect that just comprehend saber manifestation. However, for such a young genius to appear in the town probably means that the news had spread father what we thought.”
“Are you sure, grandpa!? How is it possible for somebody of my generation comprehend a martial manifestation!? Even martial intents are things that many senior cultivators are unable of learn.”
“I’m sure, child.” Explained the old man. “Though it was a wave of energy corresponding to saber manifestation, the energy supporting it is only at the core-fusing stage or the spirit awakening stage at most.
“Don’t underestimate the geniuses of the world; though it is impossible for many powerful figures comprehend a martial manifestation in all their lives, from time in time freaks appears able of break such rules. Perhaps that person is one of such freaks.”
The girl kept silent after hearing the old man. Then, after making a worried expression, the girl spoke.
“Grampa, doesn’t it mean that the fight to get that thing will be even harder than we thought? If somebody so talented is already here, what kind of people will be coming in the next few days?”
Hearing the worried voice of the girl, the old man smiled gently and reassured.
“Don’t worry. Thighs like it are better left to fate. Though we departed immediately after of hearing the rumors, many different powers probably heard it too. The most we can do is try our best. And if we get it then it means that it was destined to be ours.”
The old man shook his head after speaking, clearly not confident in their possibilities. The girl, after seeing it, made a determined expression.
“Don’t worry, grandpa! I promise you I will do my best!”
Then, with a smile of confidence in her face she continued.
“I will be the one getting the Supreme Emptiness Flame!”
