Chapter 24 ends the part 2. It was hard writing new chapters while revising old ones, to be honest, but it was fun.
The much-needed edit of chapter 2 was released yesterday in time with chapter 24, and the word count rose from 2.2k to around 3.1k. It was hell of a revision, and honestly I had more trouble fixing chapter 2 than I had making chapter 24.
Enough about that. Next up is some world-building, the Redel Capital, some more Players, and Barton, the sought-after blacksmith.
The recent releases were fast, if you ask me, and I might be able to keep this pace, maybe even faster, as long as no snafu suddenly happens.
I'm also thinking of changing the cover of the book (it was something I made back before I knew where the story was going) although that's for another time, as I'm out of ideas in my head.

Redemption is a fickle thing. Nine detectives and nine serial killers find themselves playing a dangerous survival game of deductions, pretending, and - murder. With your life and alias on the line, what would you give up for a shot at redemption? ... The main premise and kick of KtJ is that it is a guessing game of sorts. 18 high school students of various ages and backgrounds come together and are given aliases, such as "King", "Killer", or as the protagonist is aptly named - "Protagonist". They do not know each others' identities, and what's more - 9 of them are anonymous detectives, and 9 of them are serial killers. The cast is given a list of their names, and a list of the identities of the serial killers and detectives they are being held hostage with, and are forced to interact to guess the identities. The people who are able to connect all identities will get "a special advantage" in the killing game, but it isn't specified what. Alongside this, each cast member is given three secrets they are able to reveal at any point for an advantage in the killing game as well. Along with a substantial portion of the gaming world, he is eagerly awaiting the release of Deep Delve, a secretive but wildly speculated about VR-MMORPG. Kevin receives a surprise phone call two weeks before Deep Delve is set for release, and finds himself taking an offer he just can't refuse.

What to expect: This story is based on the concept of "What if a villain, gets a second chance?". Hence it contains a lot of torture, torment, and inhumanity. Revenge or such feelings do not drive Elias, so it's not a revenge story. There won't be any rape scenes or incest. It's also not a story like that. But expect some cruelty and torture along the way. Also, it's a slow-paced novel. In short: A lunatic who terrorized the world with devious power and cruel means gets reborn, this time becoming even more powerful and ruthless. Link for the Cover Art:
