. . . . .
An indescribable feeling left me disheveled and speechless.
How long did that floating feeling last, how endless was the darkness really..
As these thoughts flashed through my mind I received even more of a shock when everything turned white.
“I can finally see. Is. . Is this my new body?”
Slowly my sense started coming back to me, I allowed my fingers to dance across my new flesh.
Such smooth hazelnut skin, can skin really be this beautiful?
Is this really the new me?”

“Oh that's better than I thought! My health was never very good and it didn't help I didn't take care of myself very well.
The assistant said my synchronization rate might be low possibly barely reaching 50%, but even my memory transfer was in the 90s.
I don't feel like I've forgotten anything important. But now that I think about it, if it's forgotten I wouldn't be able to recall what I don't know immediately anyway.”
I guess I shouldn't be making jokes at myself until the transfer is finished completely.
I can't help but smile at the thought that everything is going to be different from this day forward!
[Player, after evaluating your specified avatar outline your bloodline rank has been deemed SS Rank!
You have four main class slots and six subclass slots you can fill.
You have ten minutes to voice your choices.
Because of your bloodline rank you've been penalized and the class catalog will not be provided.
Please keep in mind one of your subclasses have been used for the social stratification of this world
Your time begins now!]
“Haha this is what I had expected. I was given a guide book to study during the sixth months prior.

I'm a bit surprised by my high evaluation but the backstory I developed must have been outside the scope of the AI’s ability, helping push my rank up.
Thankfully I don't need so many slots in the beginning. I hadn't planned for my rank to be evaluated so high, even getting just an A rank off my own strength seemed hard enough.
This definitely leaves me with a lot more options for growth in the future. My plans are becoming much more feasible!!”
Part of our job as live in players is to affect the planned out storyline of the AI giving it the opportunity to face unpredictable opposition and unexpected aid.
Out of the 15 contestants everyone's personality alignment was widespread. They wouldn't give us specific details since they didn't want to effect the in-game choices we would make.
But regardless what we do, every action we take is helping give a ton of research data.
Doing this all while helping them make billions of dollars off the unpredictability of this game! What a mad world I lived in.
I could feel my blood boiling with strength and excitement!
In the novels I wrote I always imagined different ideal selves that I would slowly develop to fit the storyline.
Now here I have the chance to finally live one of them out, what more could a young boy wish for!
I'll finally get to say really cool stuff like “May the darkness consume you!” or “you've unraveled your own demise! Perish! Ultimate Shining Finger!!” all while not sounding at all out of place.
I can feel my eyes glowing with stars in them from the excitement!
“I've chosen [Battle Mage] and [Necromancer] as my two main classes, While [Enchanter] and [Refiner] will be my additional Subclasses!”

The system was silent for only a second, but during that brief pause I could hear the blood in my veins racing, my heartbeat was steady but I felt like each beat was heavier than the last.
[Player please designate your new name]
Finally I'm about to be transferred over, everything's about to begin I won't have to be that empty shell anymore!
“The name I've chosen is Alucard Cadmus Di Beelzebub!”
[Alucard Cadmus Di Beelzebub please confirm that this is the correct spelling as well as [Battle Mage] [Necromancer] [Refiner] and [Enchanter] are the classes you've chosen]
“Yes!! Yes I confirm!”
[Your status has been updated, the transfer will be completed in 10 seconds. Please bring more surprises to us in the future best of luck]
10. . .
9. . .
8. .
I could see my body slowly dematerialize from the top and bottom respectfully, before the countdown finished I had already lost my hearing.
Soon my sight was gone as well and all I could feel is weightlessness as I began falling in endless darkness again.
“when I wake up, what will this new world look like…”
My final thoughts as the 10 second were up!

Maker of Fire
On a world where magic kept civilization firmly in the bronze age, the Gods dropped an accountant and a mining engineer to start a political and industrial revolution. They wanted enlightened governance and a fast track to the iron age. They got indoor plumbing, paper airplanes, a cranky queen, and one very grumpy prophet. Dramatis Personae Aylem was a bookkeeping student when she died. The Gods reincarnated her as the greatest mage ever known, born into the ruling class of gigantic, magic-wielding humans. The Gods expect her to conquer the world and introduce double-entry accounting. Though Queen and numerical reformer, world conquest is stalled because everyone is scared of her and she doesn't like war. Emily was a retired engineer when she died. The Gods reincarnated her as one of the enslaved class of small, magicless humans. The Gods expect her to drag the world out of the bronze age. Though she's already recreated matches and wrought iron, introducing technology isn't going well because she was born a slave (oops) and having escaped, wants nothing to do with so-called "civilization." Asgotl was a whale when he died. The Gods reincarnated him as a griffin and expect him to have the same role he played in his previous life: to keep a reluctant prophet from walking off the job. If only they had remembered to tell him about it. Revised update schedule will be once a week on Saturdays, noonish Mountain Time (in North America)

In a Civilized Manner
A self-proclaimed seeker of peace and his trusty "system" venture on a journey to flip the world on its back—in a civilized manner, of course. Edris has always aimed for a peaceful, carefree life, but the world around him? Not so much. It started with encountering the amnesic, system-like entity in his head. From there, only absurdities followed. Aristocratic conspiracies, mismatched identities, intercontinental wars... Hold on—did he just get called a prophet? In any case, as the world descends into chaos, Edris's carefree life may be just a bit further away than expected.
