《Can't a Girl be a Fearsome Demon Lord?》Dene: Zilva

Not soon after Allen and Diana had exited The Red Swan, Charlotte also made her way out of the hotel. Once she knew that the three had left, and that Edwards had returned to his room, Zilva came out of her room dressed in casual attire while carrying a rather large bag as she began making her way out of the hotel. Once she had exited the hotel, she took a quick look around before turning right and walking away.
Once she had walked for a few minutes, she made a right turn into a more desolate street before walking straight for a while longer. Once she had reached a small passage, she quickly turned into it as soon as she noticed there was no-one around and took out a cloak from her bag. Putting on the black hooded cloak, she kept walking through the passage before making a left into another even tighter passage and walking down all the way to its end.
Coming out into a rundown dark street as a result of the buildings on both sides blocking the sunlight, She turned right and kept walking down it, ignoring the destitute and suspicious looking people at its sides that gave her some curious glances before returning to whatever it was they were doing.
It was in this manner that she kept traversing through this destitute area of the city for a good hour until she reached her destination. Standing in front of a regular stone house that acted as a bar in between a seemingly endless assortment of such stone houses that were all connected to each other. Approaching the bar, Zilva knocked thrice on the door before taking a pause and knocking two more times in a quick manner.
A few seconds after her knocks, the door open slightly as a tall man’s head could be seen peeking out. Seeing the hooded figure, the man slid his head back inside before the sounds of locks turning and a chain being pulled free were heard. Once the noises had come to an end, the door opened halfway before a deep “Come in” was heard. With the welcoming words acting as the cue, Zilva slid inside through the door before the door immediately closed behind her.

Inside the room could be seen rather simple and humble looking bar which was devoid of any customers at the moment. It had a few tables scattered in it’s rather small space as well as a counter with stools in front of it for its patrons to sit on. All of the drinks seemed to be stored on the shelves behind the counters, as there did not appear another source of space to store such things. However, ignoring this lack of space, the two walked to the counter and passed the barkeeper as they reached a small hatch inside of the counter.
Opening up the hatch was the tall burly man with tanned skin as he signaled for Zilva to enter. At his signal, Zilva immediately began descending the steps down the hatch, all the while not having said a single word to either the tall burly man or the elderly barkeeper.
After descending for about three meters, Zilvia had reached the floor of the dimly lit room as a rather sweet and seductive voice welcomed her in saying:
“Welcome my dear Zilvia, it always brings me great pleasure to see your lovely face, my dear servant~”
Moving to stand in front of the woman sitting on a desk who had let out these words, Zilva pulled off her hood to reveal her short purple hair and maroon colored eyes as she bowed slightly and said:
“I am here for my report, Aretea.”
Leaning into the rather serious elf, Aretea let her hand slowly trace through Zilva’s face as she said in mock pouting voice:
“Why so serious my dear Zilva? Does it not bring you joy to see me?”
Seeing the obviously fake pouting expression on her face, Zilvia simply released a sight before saying:
“You know why I’m here and why agreed to join you. Before I give my report, I want you to tell me, Aretea. Did you help the elves of the sacred forest in trying to summon a great demon?”

Hearing her question, Aretea switched the position of her legs as she put the right one above the left before sitting up straight and putting a serious expression as she responded:
“Now now Zilva, that is no way to talk to your master. After all, it is you who needs my aid to solve her problems, so try to show some more respect when you talk to me, my dear Zilva… Now, to answer your question, I’m afraid I don’t know what you’re talking about, I haven’t left this city for the last month, so it couldn’t have been me who could have pulled off such a stunt or whatever it is your blaming me for.”
Hearing this unexpected answer from the violet haired demon, Zilva stared into her yellow eyes as she asked:
“But we found demon cultists in the middle of a ritual as they-”
“Zilva.”
Hearing the rather loud pronunciation of her name, ZIlva stopped talking as Aretea continued.
“I’ve already told you that I don’t control all of the demon cultists. Whatever the other eleven do has nothing to do with me nor is it of my concern. Most likely than not it was Krato who used his servants to do what you have claimed. After all, he’s the one who had been going on about summoning a new powerful vessel for speeding up the revival of our Lord.”
“Then you-”
“I’ve done nothing but stayed in this city, and know nothing of what happened. Now tell me my dear Zilva, have you learned anything new since the last time we’ve met?”
Seeing that she wouldn’t have an answer to her question, Zilvia released a silent sigh as she answered Aretea’s question:
“No, I haven’t learned anything new of importance. There’s still no trace of the two children of destiny, and there’s no reason to suspect that the King or anyone else in the kingdom knows about them”
Hearing the answer she expected, Aretea simply released a bored “Is that so…” before allowing a smile to return to her face as she said:
“Then continue your job and keep monitoring the princess’s party. Remember, as soon as you think you’ve found one of the children, contact me immediately through the orb I gave you. Well, that’ll be all for now my dear Zilva. Do remember to keep safe and I’ll be waiting for your next visit before you leave this city… although you’re more than free to stay here if you like~”
Ignoring Aretea’s suggestion, Zilva simply bowed as she said:
“Then I’ll be taking my leave, farewell Aretea.”
With this, Zilva began making her way back up into the bar as the hatch at the top was opened once more. Once she was out and on the counter, she was escorted by the tall burly man until she reached the door leading outside of the bar. Before exiting however, she put back her hood and checked both sides of the street before finally leaving the bar.
Once she had exited the bar, Zilva released a sight before turning to the side and walking to the next alley. However, once she had reached the edge and turned into the alley away from the bar, a small figure wearing a large hat was waiting for her as it simply said:
“Boo!”

Healing Dungeon
// DUNGEON Mechanics will start to appear around chapter 100+/Arc 3 of the story! \ Avan, a 25-year-old young man, is torn from his rather boring life. He awakens in Aorus, a world full of magic, monsters and dungeons. By a stroke of luck and an ominous skill called "Potential", he awakens a new class never seen before called Dungeonheart (Human). Dungeons, although sentient, are never sapient nor mobile. Join Avan as he pursues his passion for healing and martial arts, and building his very own dungeon at the same time. He’s the hybrid of a moving dungeon and a healer. "Healing Dungeon" will include City building, strategy, very little romance, exploration of the world of Aorus, and a touch of power levelling. (There are elements from other fantasy novels, as well as anime, games, and more). What will all be possible with a dungeon that can move, but still brings some of the familiar dungeon mechanics along for its journey? -- Please note that the beginning and thus the first chapters were really my first writing works in english, and can only be rewritten at a later time (lack of time in favor for new chapters) --(The writing style and also the story improves VERY much from the 12th chapter at the latest! Proofreading is available, but I depend on any well-intentioned advice from you guys). If you have any questions, suggestions, constructive criticism, or just because you feel like it, feel free to leave me a comment below the respective chapters! For every positive and serious review or rating, I am infinitely grateful! ;) I am a creature of few words and the beginning is therefore a little faster than I would have liked it now in retrospect. Please do not expect huge paraphrases and descriptions of the environments, but only what is really necessary to get into the scene. Cheers and hopefully see you in the comment section.
