TWG 28- Two Emperors of Mt. Skypeak
The winds blowed faintly in the top of Mt. Skypeak. The day was bright, shrouded in light. However, if one would look at the distance in the sky, only darkness..and turbulent storms lies up ahead. The world feels like as if it was split apart into two, Darkness and Light, Day and Night, Yin and Yang.
For such a thing to happen to the all famous windstorm of Mt. Skypeak, it was no wonder the inhabitants of the mountain would rather curl up in their homes, afraid of the unknown.
After all, the beasts that can stay in the treacherous surroundings of Mt. Skypeak are very intelligent creatures. All of them could understand that whatever cause this phenomenon to happen, this..is beyond their understanding..
However, even in such a queer weather, somewhere close to the very peaks of Mt. Skypeak, a winged reptilian figure held his head high up in the open. It's large, scaly body emitting out a suffocating aura and it's two yellow eyes stared intently at the opposing end.
At the other end of his sight was the mouth of a cave. A large sized cave with emerald stones poking out of the rocks.
At this moment, a circular puff of wind shot out from the cave. At first, that puff of wind seemed as if it was traveling very slowly, but strangely, in the blink of an eye it had instantly reached the ears of that reptilian beast.
When that reptilian beast saw this, it's eyes squinted but it quickly returned back to normal.
' pa! ' that puff of wind popped out right in front of that reptile's snout, just like the sound of a popping bubble.
" State your intentions, Harrstorm. " A cold voice growled out in the language of dragons.
If any other beast on Mt. Skypeak are here to witness this talk..forget about seeing them, even the mere mention of their name is enough to make them tremble in fear.
Harrstorm of the Storm Valley.
Folhorn of the Emerald Cave.
These two illustrious figures have long become the two Emperors that ruled over the mountain, unmatched by anyone else!
Harrstorm's mouth broke out into a nasty smile. " Intentions? Oh Folhorn, aren't we old friends? I haven't seen you in 300 years and this is the first thing you said to me? You are as cold as ever Folhorn. "
Folhorn, the beast inside the emerald cave snickered in response.
" I'm not in the mood to entertain your hypocrisy Harrstorm. Talk or leave. " This time, the voice came out directly from the cave.
There was a moment of silence as the smile on Harrstorm's mouth grew wider and wider, eventually turning into a laugh.

" Fafafafa! Folhorn, have you grown so old that your brain isn't working properly anymore? " Harrstorm chortled loudly, it's big mouth letting out rains of spit. But in the very next moment, his laughing face took a 360 degrees turn, turning into a savage, enraged look. " YOU out of all beasts should know why I am here Folhorn! I'm going to repeat what I said 300 years ago, ARE YOU GOING TO GIVE IT TO ME OR NOT?!! "
At this moment, these two did not know, that a few distance away from this cave. A light cough could be heard along with an amused tone dispersed in the wind.
This fella...has a screw lose on his head doesn't he?
In response to this crazed acquaintance of his, Folhorn harrumphed, his voice shooting out of the cave directly into Harrstorm's location. " Hmph! I did not expect for you, Harrstorm to become blind over the years! Did you not see that thing in the sky?? "
Without giving Harrstorm a chance to talk back, he continued. " Have you forgotten about the omen?! "
" Fine, if you have really become so dimwitted that you forget about it, I will kindly remind you! "
" Day and Night shall be split into two. "
" Darkness and Light shall face each other once again. "
" Yin devils sprouts out of the earth, Yang warriors rises from blood. "
" The gateway to the true throne shall open itself to the rightful heir! "
" 300 years ago, Ancestor Wind Dragon, Balhamas warned us of the ancient omen! "
" The omen is coming! And you, a mere little Wyrm dared to act so presumptuously in this day!? " Folhorn ended his speech with a hint of contempt.
Harrstorm's face that was turning unsightly from Folhorn's reciting suddenly became fierce and thundered loudly. " I told you thousand years ago not to call me THAT!! "
If any of the inhabitants in Mt.Skypeak were to hear the words being uttered so nonchalantly by Folhorn right now, they would surely be stunned to fear.
Any living beast on Mt. Skypeak would know that the word ' Wyrm ' is a taboo word to Harrstorm..
For many magic beast, being born as a Wyrm might be a source of pride for them, after all, they are descendants of the almighty Dragons!
But Harrstorm is not just any ' Wyrm '. He, Harrstorm is one of the two Emperors of Mt. Skypeak! The fact he was a Wyrm is a joke in the entire Floating Cloud Continent!
One must know that being regarded as the 3 danger zones of Floating Cloud Continent, being one of the two Emperors of Mt. Skypeak, his reputation is no lesser than the famed Mythical Beast Forest's Vajra Thunder-Wolf.

For one of the existences standing at the top of the continent to actually be a 2nd grade creature like the wyrms is indeed a bit embarrassing.
" You dare Folhorn! Fine! It seems like you have no intention of handing it over in the first place. Today, we shall determine the one true Emperor of Mt. Skypeak! " With it, Harrstorm unfolded his wings in a blinding speed.
The calm winds are instantly stirred, and a wind storm propped up. Just the unfolding of his wings could cause a deadly wind that can kill mortals!
Harrstorm harrumphed and shot up into the sky, a split second later, he stopped in midair, approximately 500 meters from the border of light and darkness.
" Are not coming out or not Folhorn?! " Harrstorm's voice resounded throughout the mountain but there was no reply from that emerald cave.
" Well..If you're NOT coming out, then I'll just destroy that emerald cave you like so much! " A dangerous gleam appeared on his two eyes as he opened his mouth, causing the air to tremble and the wind to shook. Clusters of wind elementals surged towards the front of his jaws, forming a faint cyan pentagon.
" BAM! "
A prismatic cyan beam shot towards the cave, the beam was not large in size but wherever it passed, a terrifying gale of wind followed behind. Just that gale alone is enough to injure any 2nd realm warrior!
However, right at the moment that beam was released..
The air suddenly turned significantly colder, an invisible pressure instantly filled the surroundings. It was not the temperature that dropped, but this was coldness that attack the will of people..
Time stood still.
The world felt as if it was slowing down..
In this choking atmosphere, an unseeming ring of sonic wind shot up to meet that prismatic beam.
That sonic ring silently, soundlessly made contact with that beam, that vulnerable ring looked as if it would definitely be crushed to smithereens but at the moment of contact, the sonic ring began to shook heavily.
It rumpled like paper and then bulged, rumpled then bulged, after 3 times of continuous form-changing, the ring's perimeter finally turned wavy before eventually dissolving into the air, allowing that beam to finally go pass through it.
At this moment, a huge shadow flew out of the cave within the outbreak of windstorm.
Outside the storms of wind, one could see that huge shadow slamming one of it's claws down towards that prismatic beam.
" Bang!! "
That beam was slammed down straight into the ground, razing the ground for seconds before it finally ended.
Seeing that sonic ring withholding his beam, Harrstorm's face fell.
" His expertise over the laws of ' slow ' has increased yet again. " Harrstorm muttered with gritted teeth and ferocious eyes.
When the sky was clear once more,
Just outside of that Emerald Cave, a long line of crevice propped up. That crevice was downright strange. It was utterly straight and did not posses any of those usual lightning-like arcs but it was as straight as it can be. Except that at the sides of that line is a shape, the sides of a pentagon. Clearly it was the prismatic beam from before that caused it.
Another difference was that there was now two creatures outside of that Emerald Cave, one is the Gale Wyrm, Harrstorm flying in the sky. The other, bigger figure, is the other Emperor of Mt. Skypeak. Sonic Beast Folhorn.
His body is silver from top to bottom and the most eye catching part of his body is definitely his incredibly long ears that is almost half of his large body.
He did not have wings unlike most other wind-oriented magic beasts but no one would be foolish enough to think that the Wind Emperor couldn't fly!
Folhorn coldly glared at the hovering Harrstorm. " For the sake of our past friendship, I can still allow you to pull back right now Harrstorm. "
" Fah! Enough bullshit, are you fighting or not Folhorn?! " Harrstorm's roar resounded through the valley, his current attitude looked as if he did not give a damn about the omen Folhorn mentioned before!
Folhorn's face gradually turned icy. Actually, he was truly worried that the battle between the two would attract whatever that caused the omen to appear, he could only hope..that such a figure won't bother with the likes of them.
" Fine. You asked for it Harrstorm. " He unfolded his two long ears and a moment later, a low-pitched sonic screech came out as it slowly raised Folhorn's body, bringing him up into the air.
Harrstorm's ferocious face broke into a smile when he saw his nemesis hovering right in front of him.
The winds blew past the two as they become silent for a moment, staring into each other's eyes.
Eventually...Harrstorm broke the silence.
" Then..let the world of light and darkness bear witness to our last battle. "
" Let the battle of Skypeak begin!!! "
