TWG 27 - Traveling around Mt. Skypeak

Once Li Zun finished stuffing several hundreds Crescent Wind Trees into his interspacial ring, he began to walk around the forest and enjoy the scenery for himself.

With how dense the wind elemental is in here, complimented with the natural fragrance of the Crescent Wind Trees, one would naturally feel rejuvenated and energized just by being here.

Of course, a clear weather like this in Mt. Skypeak is virtually impossible without the interference of Li Zun, and as such, no one else will ever experience the joy of taking an easy stroll around this forest.

" Mm..those guys, they aren't causing troubles are they? "

With that thought in his mind, Li Zun spread his Divine Awareness covering the entire forest and a moment after, he was stunned.

" These guys.." Li Zun shook his head with a light smile.

" It had only been 10 minutes, but they sure know how to pick up trouble. "

The 5 of them had actually provoked a 7th Grade Magic Beast!

Right now, they were being chased by an angry Blackwind Buffalo, a wind magic beast of the 7th grade.

Li Zun chuckled when he saw their frantic expressions being chased albeit with occasional laughters mixed in.

Li Zun knew that in truth they weren't in a life threatening situation. The beasts in here had a pact with each other to not destroy the Crescent Wind Trees unless absolutely necessary.

This forest of Crescent Wind is one of the few shelters that they can get in this ridiculous weather, although it's not completely safe, it is indeed much safer than the outside world.

And with the small bodies of those 5, it would be far easier for them to slip away into the sea of trees. For a big bodied magic beast like the Blackwind Buffalo? It won't be able to chase them as much as it like.

Li Zun guessed that the 5 of them had probably met the Blackwind Buffalo sleeping somewhere in this forest, but instead of running away they chose to annoy the Blackwind Buffalo, resulting to the scene now.

He could already picture the scene of the little pup and the 3 birds using a wooden stick to poke the head of the Blackwind Buffalo continuously.

Because of the light he casted in Mt. Skypeak, almost all of the Magic Beast went back to their lair and slept, with confusions in their mind. These beasts had never encountered daylight within the upper range of Mt. Skypeak and decided to took it as a foreboding omen. Hence, why Li zun haven't encountered any Magic Beast along the way here.

Well he did encounter a herd of Cloudstreak sheep, but they were tightly knitted to one another, sleeping peacefully.

Li Zun looked up towards the sky, his Divine Sense stretching out far, even further than the Windstorm of Mt. Skypeak.

" Mm..probably in an hour or two I guess. I have taken enough of the Crescent Wind Trees, time to go to the next location. " With it, he disappeared.

The Blackwind Buffalo was infuriated, today, his world had turned completely upside down. In all of his life he had never experienced a bright atmosphere ever since he gained enough strength to reach the upper parts of the mountain.

But today the sky suddenly turned bright!

The raging winds stopped!

The storm of hail and lightning was nowhere to be seen!

He was utterly confused. And so, just like all the other beast, he decided to stay within the forest and wait for this damned day to pass.

But this damned day seems like it doesn't want him to have a peaceful life. 5 tiny critters had actually came and annoyed him!

At first, when the 5 encountered him, they were frightened and went into hiding.

Sensing those 5, the Blackwind Buffalo was confused why such weak magic beast could possibly dare to climb in this land of 3rd realms? But he couldn't possibly be bothered to care, in this damned day who would necessarily find trouble for themselves? And so he snorted and went back to sleep.

But those damned 5 critters had actually came back! 4 of them warily crept around him and once they saw that he was not responding, they took his silence for granted.

Those 4 took out some twigs and poked him continuously while laughing at him, calling him " big black meat " in beast language.

The Blackwind Ox could no longer take it, it woke up and angrily chased after those 5 with red eyes.

But those 4 had been too crafty, as soon as he woke up they immediately scampered to all directions and take full advantages of their small body to hide within the sea of trees.

The Blackwind Ox of course knew of the pact to not destroy these trees, so after 5 minutes of chase he had already lost sight of them.

He could not do anything but huff and puff, stomping back in anger. Just when it is about to lose all hope of capturing them, one of those critters, the desert-yellow bird appeared before him!

He bellowed excitedly, ramming straight at it and just when it was about to catch the startled desert-yellow colored bird, it suddenly disappeared!

Disappeared into thin air!

The dumbstruck Blackwind Ox stared with wide eyes at the spot the bird was flying earlier on for a minute before eventually hurrying back to sleep, hoping for this accursed day to pass.

The 6 of them eventually travelled around Mt. Skypeak, visiting more unique locations with Li Zun instantly teleporting them to wherever they wanted to.

It's not that Li Zun did not like walking with his two feet, but he was a bit pressed on time.

After an hour had passed, Li Zun's interspacial ring was finally filled with more unique flowers, rocks, and trees of Mt. Skypeak.

With Li Zun's Divine Awareness, nothing could possibly escape his sight. He could detect all the rare treasures such as precious herbs or legendary flowers within the mountain.

When he went to plunder *cough* pick them up he would leave some behind to avoid stripping the entire mountain bare.

At least he would leave them with 30-40% left. He is someone who loved nature after all, and these herbs aren't that important to him, just that he loved collecting them.

Since he went on a high speed teleportation run, he had also left the the 5 in another forest. After switching locations for 3 times, the 5 gradually grew tired and so Li Zun just decided to leave them and go alone.

When he took a peek inside his Interspacial ring, he became full of joy and couldn't help but hum a tune of his old world.

" Wistar Snowberry, Caravia Fruits, Hundred teethed Razor flower, Gale Lork Flower, Blue Blow Herb.. " When he remembered those plants he got one by one, his mood was uplifted even further.

Right now the sad look on his face was completely gone, he was too excited for having these rare treasures in his pocket.

If someone had seen the contents of his interspacial ring, 10 out of 10 would surely be lost for words..

" Time to pick the others up and visit the last place, thankfully there is still an hour to go. "

When Li Zun arrived to pick them up, he was instantly dumbfounded.

This time, he found them being flocked by a group of Magic Beasts.

But instead of being chased, they were actually playing cheerfully with the large birds of Mt. Skypeak.

Those birds even had their young ones come out to spar with the little pup and the Daredevil Dog while the 3 lil birds and the elder birds of Mt. Skypeak laughed and squawked surrounding them as if they were having a party.

" ... " Li Zun watched from afar, completely stupefied.

For the little pup to make friends with others is definitely not so simple. Remembering that a small amount of Li Zun's curse had passed over to the little pup, making friends is no easy feat for him.

Of course it was not as bad as Li Zun who was avoided by people everywhere he went. But it still strikes a certain amount of fear into others.

With this in mind, Li Zun had always felt as if he had wronged the little pup but seeing the little pup happily playing with other beasts, he couldn't help but smile happily.

Only after a while or so did Li Zun finally appeared next to them, startling the poor birds. They hurriedly prostrated in the ground completely afraid of Li Zun.

Only when they saw the little pup and the 3 birds circling Li Zun gleefully did they calm down.

After soulscouring some Magic Beast, Li Zun had became adapt to the various best language used by the Magic Beasts of Cloudy Days Planet, and one of them is of course the wolf language, the mother tongue of the lil pup.

From the little pup, he was finally explained of the great adventure they had during the hour he was gone.

But that's a story for another time.

Eventually, they had to part. The little pup and the other 4 waved their paws and wings, in attempt to say good bye.

Li Zun even heard the little pup saying good byes to specific birds such as old Blackie, old Greenie, young Ladie, young Royie, etc.

Li Zun could only laugh at the scene, the little pup can truly brings wonders.

" Finally here, that emerald cave I saw and the most important treasure. " Said Li Zun with gleaming eyes.

Li Zun didn't teleport them directly, but strayed a bit purposely so that they will be able to take a good walk after all the hassle they went through.

But when he arrived at the cave, he saw a scene that he never expected to see.

Close to the entrance of the cave lies two enormous, ferocious magic beast each emitting an aura of a peak 8th ranker. One of the beast is actually residing inside the cave, but with Li Zun's eyesight, seeing through the interiors of a dark cave needs nothing more than a glance. These two beasts were staring intently at one another, as if a battle between the two would occur any moment.

When Li Zun saw this, his eyes lit up.

" Oh? " a hint of amusement escaped out of his mouth.
