TWG 26 - The Poem of Mt.Skypeak
The winds gathered
Coming from all over the place
Swirl and swish they go
With their gentle blows
Warming everyone's hearts
The winds gathered
At the very top of the clouds
Swirl and swish they go
With their cutting edges
Slicing everything apart
The frigid air visited
Called by the winds
Thunderclaps came down
Coaxed by the winds
The dragons bow down
Ruled by the winds
The winds gathered
Forming blades that strikes fear
Warriors challenged its might
But they return no more
The winds gathered
At the very peak of this sky
The place were he rest
Unbridled by all
" The place where he rest, unbridled by all.. " Li Zun closed off, his eyes exuding a strange light..
~~~
When Li Zun finally stopped talking to himself, he saw the 3 mischievous birds and little Xie playing around.
Their look were now very funny, especially the red little bird, whose body could no longer be seen, it only looked like a snowball with a small cute bird head popping out.
The other 2, the blue and desert-yellow bird chirped teasingly, flying around the red little one, who was only able to stare at the two, it's body locked in the ground as a snowball.
Bai Xue is there too, actively engaging in the teasing, while the Daredevil Dog slept on the snow near them, it's body too, turned into a snow ball.
The Daredevil Dog knew that he would never get it's peace from them if it retorted, so he allowed them to make a snow ball out of him and only shook off the snow that they placed on his nose.
Gradually, the 4 of them lost interest to his silence and ignored him.
But the birds were not him, the little red one finally could no longer bear it, it chirped furiously and ushered it's strength to breakthrough the snow.
The other two and lil Xue knew that it was about to go and take it's revenge, and so they hurriedly ran away while laughing aloud.
It was only then did Li Zun intervene, "Come guys, we're going! There is still time left, and I did spot something interesting. "
Little Xie and the other 3, who were now covered in snow stopped in their tracks when they heard Li Zun.
They turned their heads to look at each other for a moment before running to him hastily, their small skirmish had already disappeared into thin air.
Li Zun smiled and motioned them to follow as he walked to the other side of the mountain that was arching downwards.
Mt. Snowpeak's geography is indeed peculiar. It has a naturally made wide slope that seemed as if it was latched to the mountain, twisting around the upper parts of the mountain, forming a road for people and beasts alike to traverse easily.
And since it was larger in circumference than most of the mountain, the snow would continuously pile up here which resulted into an extremely deep amount of snow.
If one could see the upper parts of Mt. Skypeak clearly from afar, they would certainly see it as if a flake of white twirled around the mountain peak, forming an indescribable beauty.
But sadly the upper parts of the mountain is far too high, and it was enshrouded by the maelstrom of winds, thunders and dark clouds. No one except for Li Zun would be able to see this mesmerizing scene..
~~~
" Speaking of Mt. Skypeak, even the trees that are able to grow here are special. " Li Zun let out a breathe of amazement.
They are currently going around the slope, strolling peacefully in the vast white grounds of Mt. Skypeak.
Since Li Zun had casted a light spell here, the area was no longer dark, but as clear as the day, allowing these expanse of white to be seen clearly.
Finally, after 20 minutes of walk, Li Zun and co arrived at a shallower part of the slope, where a forest of cyan trees could be seen.
The trees of these forest were by no means normal, they are unique trees that only grows in the upper parts of Mt. Skypeak, where the weather was unruly and harsh.
Li Zun let out a slight smile while the little pup and the others were awestruck by the beauty of this unusual forest.
" Although I have glanced at it with my Divine Awareness, seeing it with one's own eyes is truly different..The forest of Crescent Wind Trees. " Said Li Zun in agreement with the others reaction, it truly was beautiful.
Those mischievous four immediately jumped down into the shallow slope running straight ahead into the forest, the Daredevil dog following behind. Li Zun then also jumped down, with that smile still hanging on his mouth.
These kinds of adventures are what had truly saved him in his previous life from going crazy of loneliness. And with the existence of elemental Qi here, the nature of Cloudy Days planet would definitely be superior in terms of beauty and bizarreness in comparison to Li Zun's old world.

From above, one would be able to see that right above the forest, a huge, beautiful cyan carving could be seen. Made out of countless of branches that joined together to form a circular 'net' that " filters " the harsh wind of the mountain which is then covered with the trademark color of wind plants, cyan-colored leaves of the Crescent Wind Trees.
The cyan-colored leaves of the tree had also branch out to the ' net ', as not only it could serve as a preliminary blocker of the wind, it is also able to directly absorb the wind Qi that are extremely beneficial to them.
And surely, there was not only one or two of those carvings, but countless of it that protected the entire forest, creating a very beautiful sight when looked from above.
The ' net ' of these trees had been formed out of thousands of trees such that if one part would break, the other trees would help and cover that part in a short amount of time, creating a strong shield that protected them from the harsh wind.
In areas where the Heaven-Earth Qi or a corresponding elemental Qi is dense in, the growth of the trees would be much much faster than ordinary trees. The Qi of the world would nourish them and accelerate their growth, some legendary trees are said to be able to grow from a seed to a tree within the blink of an eye!
Back to the Crescent Wind Trees, aside from the branches that formed the ' net ', It's other branches would shape into a very peculiar structure in a " crescent moon " figure which also gave it it's name.
These shapes are also a type of adaptation they had to be more in tune with the wind elementals and also functions as a secondary defense that allows the winds to pass through it without causing much harm.
Aside from the color and the shapes, their toughness is also a feature of these trees, with weak branches, roots and stem how could they stand against the harsh storm?
Not only those, even the leaves are also incredibly tough and strongly rooted to the branches, for they would only be ripped apart or blown away without being so.
Special circumstances calls for special measures, these trees obviously needs to adapt to the harsh environment if they want to keep on living here.
" Rarities, rarities! Truly some hard to find trees. I should grab some after all! " spoke Li Zun gleefully, swiping some of the trees that are not that important in the overall 'defense' of the forest into his interspacial ring.
This was one of the hobbies Li Zun acquired during his time at Floating Cloud Continent.
Collecting peculiar or rare things.
By now, Li Zun had long created his own interspacial ring.
With him being a Demigod, his talent to sense the countless Qi of the world is of course vastly different to mortals, what required them a year to comprehend might not even reach Li Zun's comprehension in a single day!
The spatial magic was of course no exception to this.
The interspacial rings in Floating Cloud Continent is divided into 3 grades. The lowest tiered grade are created by spatial mages with the strength of a 5th ranked mage. It has a small amount of space and would collapse within a hundred years.
The middle tiered could only be created by a 6th ranked top tiered mage. It has a moderate amount of space and is much more stable than the lowest tiered one, it would only collapse within 300-500 years. This was the ring Li Zun obtained from the leader before.
And finally came the highest tiered interspacial ring, which can only be created by 3rd realm spatial mages.
Although, even rings of the same grade might have some differences, especially those of the highest tier. The most supreme spatial Mages of the 8th rank could create a ring that could last for more than a millennia.
Li Zun's however, is extremely stable that it could last for eons! Such is the difference between mortal and Gods.
But what sets the interspacial ring created by mortal mages and Li Zun's is that Li Zun's interspacial ring could sustain life!
No matter how powerful a mortal mage is, they would never be able to create a dimension that could sustain life.
Because not only they have to have a very deep understanding of spatial laws, they also need to gain various understanding of other laws such as the elemental laws.
But what was ' deep ' to them is incredibly shallow to Li Zun..

Disclaimers: Chapter Frequency: I aim for one chapter a week. Chapter Length: I try to keep chapters between 3000 and 6000 words. Binge Preference: I plan for 30 chapters per arc. If you want to binge a complete arc, then that is the number to wait for. I will also add a line to chapters indicating the beginning and end of an arc. Advanced Access: I have created a patreon page with early access to four chapters for patrons. What to Expect: Progression fantasy with a western fantasy setting and with eastern fantasy elements. A main character that is forced to explore a very narrow path of magic due to a permanent condition. A main character that is a part of a larger cast. A main character that is growing but won't become the strongest around anytime soon. A story following a single main character but with introduction or theme setting scenes without the main character. What Not to Expect: Edgy grimdark characters – I will never write a sexual violence scene or gory descriptions of torture. I hate reading it and I would hate writing it even more. Romance – romantic relationships will never be the focus of the story and only appear in the background. The main character is preoccupied with other stuff. Other forms of relationships (family, friends, companions) play a bigger role. Cover: The cover art was commisioned from redditor Linh-Nguyen87. The font is alita brush by Inovatype Typefoundry. The Solipsist
Every novel needs a main character, and in this case, it's a young man named Jacob Bates. Jacob is your average guy who likes books, television, and long walks on the beach. One day, Jacob was diagnosed with a condition that made his body frail and weak. This drove Jacob to focus solely on his studies, ending up becoming a fairly capable guy, despite his condition. The road ahead was looking great! That's when a little scene occurred between Jacob's girlfriend and one of his male classmates. Jacob's mood was a little lower than dirt from thereon. His motivation to pursue his studies, gone. This event caused Jacob to fall into the death grip that is a job in retail. One day, while Jacob was mopping the cold floors of the grocery store he worked in, a strange blue screen appeared in front of him, notifying him that the world was going through a change. Now if this change was a good or bad thing, he didn't know. But there was one thing Jacob knew for certain. He didn't have to mop the floors anymore. Author's Note: (This is my first story, and I would be very thankful if grammatical errors were pointed out. I could also take a few suggestions in the comments if you would. This is less a planned production, and more a little project that I'm winging as it goes. I will try and be consistent with at least 2 chapters a week. Also, as I am a completely new author, the number of words per chapter may fluctuate. The minimum will be around 1000 words, while other chapters may be 2000-3000. It will hopefully only get better with time.)

The Dog with a Chair
As of now, this story is dropped. It was an excellent learning experience, but the quality suffered too much from me trying new things for me to continue in good concience. Thanks to anyone that read it. I'm leaving this story up as a record of my first ever attempt at publishing something I've wrote. To any new writers out there, remember that even if the stuff you write is trash, you can still learn a lot from writing it. - November 17th 2020 Guy gets involved in advocacy for civil engineering projects, then gets pulled into an interdimensional war. Third person with a focus on one main character (Stanley) with the occasional point of view from another character important to story progression. Writing style tends to shift early on as I figure out how to write (this is my first book). Still learning, hoping to improve. Current style choice is to have a focus on character dialogue/actions with interspersed internal monologue in italics. No current end is set for the story, with the primary goal of this project being to learn to express myself in a written format. Storyline is kept as consistent as practical while covering things I find interesting. Governmental systems are mentioned, but not explained in extreme detail. Sci fi elements are used to reinforce and guide plot progression as I'm able. Personal goals belonging to each character are in the process of being developed, with the hope that they will support or oppose each other in interesting ways later on. Hope you enjoy :)
