TWG 25 - In the sky, Mt. Skypeak.

" Hey the 5 of you, it's time to go back! " In the air, above the tall trees of the forest, Li Zun slowly dropped down into the ground.

Little Xie, upon noticing Li Zun, stopped chewing the snake meat on his teeth and opened his mouth in delight, the snake meat falling into the ground.

Letting out a cute " wuuu " sound, he immediately ran towards him, jumping into his embrace. Li Zun let out a small chuckle and petted him in the head.

At this moment, the fierce look it showed when facing the harpussa snakes completely disappeared into thin air, replaced with a look as if a child meeting his family.

Out of the 5 of them, the little pup is the one who is most attached to Li Zun. Every since his only blood relative, his father had died, the one who took care and protected him from the dangers of the world is Li Zun.

Since then, he had probably seen Li Zun as a father figure that took care of him and at the same time, as a brother who cares and plays with him.

" Haha, c'mon Xiao Xie. " Smiled Li Zun. Not only the little xie, to him, the little pup is the only existence in this world that he could consider a family.

Two creatures, one Demigod, one wolf. No matter how vast their differences might seem, the two share the same circumstances.

They are both alone in this vast universe.

Of course with the addition of the 3 little birds and the Daredevil Dog, they are not so alone anymore.

The little pup finally got out of Li Zun's arms and jumped towards the ground. It then happily walked towards a tree. Sniffing at the flora and fauna of the plants.

Woofing at Li Zun with his head tilted back.

Li Zun let out another chuckle. " You really love to fly eh? "

Silently, the invisible Divine Energy swept into the the little pup and the Daredevil Dog, propelling the two up into the air, the 3 little birds following side by side with the two.

" Let's go! " Li Zun followed, flying into the air, his fingers motioned to follow him and within the blink of an eye they had already travelled far into the night sky.

The wind blew rapidly as the 6 of them flew past the floating clouds. Cloudy Days Planet is extremely dense in clouds, at least when compared to Li Zun's old world.

But almost everywhere you could see in the sky, there will always be countless of clouds. Which might also be why it is raining more frequently here.

The 3 little birds, although they are able to fly, they would not be able to travel in the speed they are currently in. Which is why flying with Li Zun is so fun to them.

What's more of the two others, little xie and the Daredevil Dog, who doesn't have the ability to fly. How could the two of them not enjoy this kind of spectacular feeling?

Even in Li Zun's old world, humans had always dreamt to fly.

The little pup woofed excitedly, his 4 limbs dashed in the air, making a motion as if he was swimming in the water.

The Daredevil dog followed behind, even if it usually doesn't show lots of emotions, it couldn't help but struck out it's tongue in glee. How many land magic beast could ever taste the experience of flying in the sky? Perhaps he and his boss are the only ones to do. He thought in his mind.

Li Zun, seeing the 5 expressing their delight, he too was of course happy.

He watched as little xie and the other 4 eventually started a racing game, going ahead of him.

" Phew, no matter how many times you have experience it, flying is truly wondrous.. " he spoke to himself.

" Ahh..such is life. " He crept into a sleeping position, his head resting on his two arms whilst his Divine Energy took him drifting into the sky.

In this state, he eventually forgot about all those matters that had made him bitter. The crowds of people avoiding him, the look they gave him, the fear in their eyes..

Eventually, it all temporarily dissolved as he enjoyed this gentle rest in the air..

But not long after, *gush!* he entered a long blanket of grayish white clouds, when he exited one, he plunged into another. Only after this had happened 3 times, Li Zun finally felt that something was off.

Seeing all these clouds..even Floating Cloud Continent with a mass numbers of clouds won't have this much, or else the sky would be completely covered by clouds and it would rain all day round.

" Ah, that's right! It's happening today isn't it! " He suddenly exclaimed.

A smile appeared on his confused face, he swiftly got up and *whoosh* he disappeared.

When he appeared again, it was by the side of little Xie and the others. By now, they had already stopped racing and were just taking a nice walk, err flight.

" We're changing destination! " without giving them a chance to react, Li Zun waved his hand and the 6 of them were all teleported once again.

Howling winds blew harshly on top of Mt. Skypeak. The extremely cold temperature here causes it to be in a state of winter all year long in the upper parts of Mt. Skypeak. In fact, " winter " couldn't exactly describe the weather here.

" Windstorms, blizzard, hail and occasional thunderstorms " a combination of that seems much more appropriate.

And that is not even mentioning the terrifyingly sharp wind blades that danced in the storm. From time to time, it would strike on the snowy blanket grounds of Mt.Skypeak, leaving numerous scars all over the mountain.

All of these bizarre phenomenons of Mt. Skypeak combined had naturally created a storm zone around the upper parts of Mt. Skypeak, which blocks the sunlight from ever hitting the surface of Mt.Skypeak's upper parts.

All these factors combined, in addition to the powerful magic beasts that lived here, established it's position as one of Floating Cloud's 3 danger spots.

But suddenly..

The storms of wind vanished 50 meters from the mountain, within moments, an eerie silence enveloped Mt. Skypeak.

Then, out of nowhere, light came to be! It was not extremely bright, but it was enough for people to see.

*Tap*

3 big and 3 small figures landed on the peak amidst the outside storm. They appeared so carefree without even a trace of injury in their bodies that it seemed as if the famed windstorms of Mt. Skypeak was nothing but a gentle breeze.

If anyone had seen this scene, their eyes would probably pop out in disbelief. Not even a group of 3rd realm warriors would dare to be so carefree here!

Of course, those 6 figures are none other than Li Zun and his group. While it might be a dangerous place to those mortals, how could such trivial things trouble Li Zun, a God-class being?

As soon as they arrived, the little pup and the 3 birds immediately squealed in excitement, the 4 of them went around all over the place playing in the snow.

The Daredevil Dog, however, stood still in it's place. It's eyes showed it's disbelief.

Although the little pup and the three birds are young and ignorant, the same cannot be said for the Daredevil Dog.

While it might still be counted as young, it was by no means ignorant. Actually, he could be counted as very clever and careful, or else he would have died in the Mythical Beast Forest long ago.

It's eyes watched on into sky, where the howling storm right in front of his eyes caused havoc in the air. Albeit, in it's eyes it could somehow see a huge, invisible dome covering the mountain peak, not allowing a single wind blade nor snow to pass through.

It then turned it's head into the direction of Li Zun, who was giving off a light smile as he saw the little pup and the 3 birds playing.

Li Zun noticed it's stare and turned to smile at him. Even if it was little xie's servant beast, no one treated him as one, especially Li Zun.

It might only be ordered by the little pup to do menial tasks once in a while but not any more than that. In the eyes of Li Zun, he could only see it as a cute pet dog.

" Don't you want to go and play with the others too? " asked Li Zun. He knew that it was smart enough to understand him.

The Daredevil Dog nodded for a bit before it scurried off to where the little pup is. Not because it wants to play, but because it was still afraid of Li Zun.

Li Zun smiled bitterly. After all, the only ones who showed that they did not mind his curse was only the little xie, the 3 birds and Gu Hai who was now in the Mythical Beast Forest.

There was no way to it, the fact that it did not avoid him all the time is already good enough.

" Oh, speaking of Gu Hai..I wonder how is it doing? Especially that feisty girl.. "

Ru Wuxi truly held a special place in his heart. She was the first human he conversed with here and even stayed with her for more than a day or two.

" I wonder if she has left yet? It has been a month.. "

" That girl..the hatred she bore is far too deep, her eyes held nothing else but revenge. I wonder..what sort of terrible past she had experienced..? " He sighed in his heart. From the moment she saw Ru Wuxi through his Divine Awareness, he knew that this girl had a very dark past.

" Oh well, nothing to think of it. Maybe if we meet again I should help her with a thing or two. "

Li Zun, finishing his thought, scanned his surroundings with his eyes, he had already seen the whole mountain and even inside of it with his Divine Awareness before arriving here, but nothing was out of ordinary.

And also, seeing things with one's two eyes does have a different feeling to using Divine Awareness to see.

" Mt. Skypeak...interesting. "

" There are none of those rumored Wind Dragons or Snow Dragons here, but there are countless of powerful 8 grade beasts. "

" And these turbulent storms here..I wonder what's causing all these? The wind blades it produced are truly not ordinary, those so called 3rd realm warriors might not want to face a storm of these directly. "

Even if he could use his his Divine Awareness to peek into the entirety of this storm, he still couldn't clearly explain how it came to be.

Within his Divine Awareness, he could clearly see that the wind elemental Qi are especially dense here. In comparison, the Wind Qi it gathered is no less the amount of the elemental Qi that the Earthly Oak Tree gathered.

Do not forget that the Earthly Oak Tree is a treasure tree! A single tree that caused the entire Magical Beast Forest to appear!

For a single mountain to contend with the Mythical Beast Forest..what sort of mountain is it?

" Mt. Skypeak, Mt. Skypeak.. " He murmured.

Li Zun could not help but remember a famous poem spread by the mortals of Floating Cloud Continent..
