This is not a chapter, just a letter from me.

Hi everyone!

Sorry that the story is taking awhile to pick up into the good stuff, it's coming, I promise!

Originally chapter one was MUCH longer and was far more creepy than it is now. I had to cut it because the rest I think will make for a good Chapter two. Where I can go into the mechanics of the religion that Hektor made.

Now if I had started with Hektor's story first, I probably wouldn't have to do that, because it would already be explained. But I didn't. I started with what is probably the fourth story in the series. When I thought up the story three years ago, there was just one, but there was so much more to the story it ended up becoming a mini series in my head. Aleksandor's and Alyson's story being a bit farther down the line. But as this is the first one I'd had written, and have a complete outline for, that's the story that I'm going to start with. Afterwards I might back track a bit and get to the second generation of Divines and how they came to be, and end that part with Hektor's story. Which, unfortunately for me. Ties into yet another story line that I have stuck in my head. I will probably work on it after I've finished with the Divine Works, and how much I write of it, depends on how well this goes, my mood, and time.

Time is Key.

I can promise a chapter a week, provided nothing happens, if something does, I will post an apology, and hopefully have the chapter out the following week.

In last weeks case, I had a lot going on. I will probably explain later, but at this moment, it's not the time.

But yes! Chapter one is out, the story is officially started, next week, between Wed-Fri, chapter Two will be released, unless I get it done sooner.
