Flow PoV

The next day after we returned with the entire tribe of Merfolk and Siren, all the siren were placed in either the prison or the building nearby.

I took immediate action to start my treatment on those that didn’t fit in the prison. I put them in an induced sleep with a sleep spell and began making them live fabricated lives, being killed by themselves, or watching from above or third person view of them dieing to other Siren and other creatures.

They would wake up completely traumatized and couldn’t stop trembling. Over the weak, I made them feel fear of death then i put them in the position of killing again. As they were about to kill, I made them look into the eyes of the target to see the fear in them and even feel the same misery.

After that, they started crying. By the end of the second week, they were begging me to stop. Crying and yelling about how they couldn’t take seeing those eyes again.

I felt it was enough and asked them a simple question.

Flow: Would you still kill but to help others? Kill monsters that hurt others just like you did?

The answers varied but most of them were similar to,

???: If there are monsters like that walking the land i would hunt them and rip them apart.

I felt it was enough. I freed them and told them to talk with the guard. they took them to Lily at the docks where she would begin their training.

Those who finished retraining were nearly 50 Siren. Nearly 140 more in the process of treatment. Strangely, the mermaids had similar numbers being only around 200.

The queen was still going strong. It seems she is a variant that has quite a bit of resistance to illusions.

That was quite to problem. I had to think quite a bit about it before i thought of the answer. After two weeks, i began something new since the old method wasn’t working. Instead of fabricating dreams she could see through, I used a lot of power to go through her memories. After that, I made dreams out of some of her memories after I carefully tamper with them.

Results showed instantly. She couldn’t keep her calm after 2 days.

Good to, sense even I would have had a problem if i had to keep that illusion up for much longer without rest.

Every third day I would skip her and just give her a small nightmare by slightly altering the dream she was having, which let me rest.

I continued for 1 week where another 40 Siren were released. By now the guards from the docks were added to the city guard and the Sirens had become the dock guards.

The mermaids were also helping the fishermen. They were very fast but were weak so Lily was training all of them including the queen and Tear.

Most of them are really good with the trident or harpoon and they are extremely good with water magic.

During their training the queen found that it was tedious to keep creating water for her attacks. She had thought for a bit before gathering a large amount of water in the form of two large compressed water rings around her body. After they reached a certain amount of compression, they began glowing white with a blue hue and something unexpected appeared for her after she finished. She showed it to us later after we told all of them what the windows where.

Merfolk Aqua Rings (basic 1)

A special ring of compressed water. This ring is a racial skill of the merfolk race that can be used both above and below water. The rings compact a great amount of water to the point that it seems to generate water on its own. These rings respond to the owner's will and can compress further to decrease its size as well as grow and form a wall.

This ring makes it possible to cast water system spells at a greater speed and power.

With higher mastery these rings will can be used for protection

+10% decrease in cast time for all water system spells.

+5% increase in power to all water system spells.

To say we were surprised would be an understatement. To discover a brand new racial skill really is something.

After that, all the merfolk began making them but only the queen and the princess could maintain two rings at one time. Seems Tear inherited a high amount of power from her mother.

As for the Siren they had less luck. They couldn’t do the rings like the merfolk. It was a blow to their self-esteem.

I could only sigh. Anyway by the end of a month that we began treatment on the Sirens. All but the queen had fallen until the first week of the second month. While i was looking through her mind i saw she had also had a mate who was killed, the memory showed her being very emotional .

It was cruel but i made her relive that moment and even before we reached the moment her loved ones had fallen, she was nearly breaking the illusion apart and kicking.

She began crying bitterly after she finally woke up and i left her there. The next day i restrained her better and made her see it all the way through and that was all it took for her to change.

I guess it will be the same for everyone you lose your loved one and you change. The memory i saw showed her as the only Siren so it was then that she became cold hearted and made the Sirens evil.

The next morning she was a ghost of her former self. I took her outside the room and to the docks.

The Siren showed a lot of concern for her. They had been learning to show more their emotions and it left her somewhat shocked. She became wide eyed when she saw the others care for her. Her memories only show them fearing her. I put her down and release her restraints, letting her slowly participate with the others.

The wounds she... had only her own could heal. I made have cut her wound open but those who follow her will put the real medicine in.

Her sister, Ul the mermaid queen, also came to talk with her. She asked to hug her and forgave what happened.

The queen began training with everyone, The next day, after she saw her sister make the aqua rings, she discovered her races skill.

She forms two small rings that stay around her wrists. They are called Siren Aqua Rings. Unlike the merfolk one these are used in direct combat and close range magic attacks.

After a week had passed, the Siren queen and all the Siren themselves seem to have become very passive; if not a bit affectionate about the other sea race.

It was then that we finally had a talk with the both queens.

Flow: Well, we have mostly done what we had been asked by our masters. It would be nice if you could follow us and meet him since you are the queens of your races.

Ul: Really?! Meet the king! But...will he meet us and even Aria who hurt your people.

Aria: Um...is it...alright?

Lily: Hahaha don’t worry, master isn’t a tyrant. He is nice so don’t worry.

Lily was shining brightly hearing we would return. My guess is that she want to hug Baal a lot. We have been away 2 months and 1 week already.

Ul: And how do we get their?

Lily: We can make use of the water prison spell and fly you two there. It will take 3 days max.

Flow: [b]Yep she wants to go back bad.

Lily: come on we are going right now.

Ul: Wait wh…!

Aria: Now?!

Before they could move a tower of water hit them and formed a bubble of water. Lily made some chains with the water and took off... leaving me behind.

Flow: That little brat really needs a beating.

I opened my wings and flew after her at top speed. She was going really fast. Must be her pent up stress and lack of Baal to hug, she couldn't hold out much more. I kind of feared how hard she would hit Baal for her hug.

Ideo PoV

Ever since we reached Galton again. I was pushed the job of training both Medusa and Alduin. I had to split each group and train them in their each affinity, mainly because i used both of them.

I can’t help but see these two like i see me and Aiden. They never stop.

Thankfully, Aiden and Kumi came and took him for a week to get him restarted in using magic. I will only teach the physical part of it. I use fire only as an added boost to my physical power so its not like i use magic. I fight more like the class humans call a monk. Bare fisted and with martial arts.

Well, I couldn't do more than do physical training with them. Though i did teach them how to use mana. It was one of the first things i needed to teach all of them even Alduin's team. This was part of my main fighting style. First you coat your body or a body part with mana to start. This increases the punches power. In their case, it was their body to start.

Only once they can hold it for nearly an hour while sparring continuously with only fists do they move on to using weapons. When they reach 1 hours with mana coated weapons, i finally teach them how to change the mana coats to hold a type of affinity.

The ones i know are,

Earth coat increases defence and strength

Fire added fire damage to your punch and can cause burning.

Air increases your speed.

I only know these three because they affect my body directly. Since i don’t use magic per say like a magician i never delved too deep besides mana coat.

I’m the best of all the elites at using this fighting style simply because i never learned magic. The others did go into it and formed a more magic based fighting style. I can say that i am the strongest physically and the only one faster than me are master, Lilian, Ro and Lax.

Ro and Lax both have near 100% air affinity and can utilize lighting coating as if second nature to increase their movement to near blinding speed. Even master has a hard time following them.

Medusa and Alduin are both able to learn to keep their bodies covered for an hour after only a week of training. It kind of pisses me off how easily they learned it since i started learning when i was first born and only after i reached higher demon did i finally reach that level.

They began using weapons after that and again it took only a week for them both to reach that level of mastery. By the second week the other lizardmen were all able to barely hold it for 1 hour.

The more i train the two leader, the more it pisses me off at how similar they are to master. Ever since i can remember they both have been able to pick up skills scary fast.

When to two were finished training with mana coats, it was time to go to element coats.

For Medusa, she uses earth most of the time, When she coated her body with earth mana, it turned her skin into a brown color reminiscent of dirt but became nearly 2 times as hard and her strength rose about the same amount.

Alduin used Fire and it concentrated mostly around his weapons. The long helberg which was suggested to him, his fists, feet and tail.

The scales and claws burn with near white colored flames and he seems to have figured out himself by watching the guards how to do the fly slice. With that he’s been making large flaming slashes that burn brighter than all the other flame attribute fighters.

By the end of the third week the lizard men, who have undergone hellish physical training have both bulked up, in Alduin’s teams case, or they have grown extremely swift, in medusa’s teams case.

It was around half way through the week where several of each of them ranked up into normal Lamia and Draken. Though to be sincere, the males in Medusa’s team were properly known as Naga. They are similar to the demon naga but these have a human torso instead of the human like torso with male physique.

Naga and Lamia are of the same race but are called differently simply because of the sex and because males are a bit more physical fighters while lamia can even be compared to a Siren or Succubus. They try to enchant men to kill them or breed with them though when Naga are near they don’t need that.

In the Draken’s case they are all the same race. Oh though i said they ranked up to Draken there were 3 that became half lizard lords. They are similar to the goblin lords but they don’t vary much except for the element they use.

I think besides Draken and lord race, there is dragonewt and stories about a possible demi race evolution rank up which is referred to as Draconian. I think that book worm Bernie said Draconian’s are an extinct race of lizardmen that were few in number but held power nearly on par with dragons themselves but in a human sized body.

He says that the race could have been mistaken for a Lizard Lord because references show that could be possible.

Back to training, these newly ranked up lizards and snakes have quite a lot of potential. The Lamia and Naga have a lot of earth affinity and master of earth magic as well as some level of water magic. Just so you know, i only train them in the morning before handing them to the librarian group on the sixth floor library for them to learn to read and learn magic.

Unlike the snake tribe the lizardmen and draken vary on their magic have a bit larger variety though most of them use fire as their main with a small bit for other types.

When a month had finished i considered their training done. We had given Alduin his confidence back but thanks to his nightmares we removed the horrible craziness he had before which was almost to the level of self destruction.

Medusa on the other hand has gotten stronger and with her brother here she takes him on in sparring more like a rival than a brother.

At the start of the next month we got world from Baal that Lily and Flow were returning after successfully protecting and solving the problem at Oreana. From what master said they would be back at the end of the first week with the queens to two underwater races.

He asked to arrange for the Alduin and Medusa who he hasn’t met yet to come when they get here. He wanted to talk with them since he hasn’t had a change yet since they have been in constant training.

Seems he is interested in the leaders of the mortal world races. I wonder if it's safe to let these two in there with master and Lilian.

I shrug and get things ready for the end of the week.

Baal PoV

It's been busy this last month. I’ve had so much to do and so little time to rest. First the churches were nearly complete and we had begun the Coliseum, I also was made to expand the city walls further thanks to the increase of intelligent monster races that wanted to live with us as well as several demon races that appeared.

The city swelled a lot to the point that Lilian and I had to request for pioneer expeditions to send people out of the city.

We sent them to the south east past Vandrain. In that direction is the ocean and some land that as we knew wasn’t occupied.

We had to choose to send several monster races along with experienced builders and craftsmen to set up a city down there to set up a foothold in that area.

The area is mostly tropical forests which makes for dense forests and possibly powerful creatures.

It will still be a month or so before we make any progress since i would most likely have to send several of the elites to aid them. We also need to plan where it will be.

Now why don’t i rest a bit? Blame Lilian. Ever since i made the promise she has been, lets say assertive. Unless i get to bed nearly a half hour before her and fall asleep she will keep me up all night. Seems she is determine to get pregnant no matter what. I somewhat dred how my life will be once Lily gets back.

I predict a week of having to repay her the time alone i spent with Lilian then i will have to take care of them both. *sigh* If i didn’t love both of them i might have run and gone adventuring someplace hidden away in the mountains though i think they would still find me.

Because of all this business these last few months as well as my afternoon death magic training from Hikura i haven’t had the time to meet the draken who was the leader of the lizardmen. His sister seems to have diverted from the draken path and made a new tribe her own from Lamia. I want to meet them both since Ideo keeps complaining say that they feel just like me and Lilian and that they show nearly the same potential we have when learning new skills.

When Lily and Flow arrive with the queens from the merfolk race and the Siren race i will have them meet here as well. I want to get to know them a bit for some reason. It's my intuition saying that something will happen if i meet them.

Anyway i just have to wait for the end of the week which is fast approaching.

3 days later end of week

I was at the balcony of the throne room. Even though it's hard to see i could already sense Lily’s power. She was going at top speed it seems.

I kind of feared if that power was aimed at me.

Anyway i call for the Draken and Lamia and wait in the throne room.

Soon the two arrive. They are both strong looking. The Draken looked strong with a bulked up chest and strong arms and wings on his back his bright red scales looked like they would catch fire. He wore strong looking scale like plate armor that gave him a dragon like look.

As for the Lamia, she could very well compete in terms of beauty with a few of the goddesses though Lily and Lilian both surpass her in grace and presence. Her human half looked somewhat like an amazon woman with, with a slight tan and powerful body its showed true her training. Her snake half i could tail has also gone through training to bulk up. I’m kind of reluctant to see how much power her tail holds though.

She was equipped with some female plate armor and in her hand was an longsword with a large kite shield. At the center of the shield was a large perfectly circular gem which is normally used for staffs.

It was interesting to find it there which meant that she used the shield as her medium to cast spells. Rather strange but it's her body, i can suggest but not oblige them to change, not like it matters, seems she is more a mage but she trained for close combat in case it gets to that.

Medusa: Greetings king and queen, i am Medusa a Lamia (variant)

Alduin: Greetingssss great king and queen, My name issss Alduin and i am a Draken (Fire variant)

Baal: Thank you for coming. I am Baal, the king and a White tengu

Lilian: I am Lilian and i am the lesser demon goddess of Love, War, Light and Life.

Medusa: You have quite a large number of titles. You must be a great goddess to hold four titles.

Normal gods have 1 or 2 max. A talented or powerful god holds more.

Baal: The other guests should be here in a moment.

I point out the balcony. Everyone looks curiously out the open door and sees the dot flying at us.

It slowly gets bigger and soon we see Lily holding several water chains in her hands and a large water ball behind her.

She is grinning from ear to ear as she leaves shockwaves behind her after breaking the sound barrier.

Baal: Tsh, that girl has gone and done it. Hold on I’ll go stop her before she kills everyone.

I jump out the balcony and turn into my demon form and fly over the city as fast as i can and soon i also break the sound barrier after reinforcing my body with mana. I then cast restraint spells on her.

The chains in the water began growing and entangled her wings closing them.

It had a visible decrease in speed so i stopped and felt the shock from the sound wave reaching me but besides a small (right small) impact i was mostly unaffected. With her slowing down i form a water bubble in front of her made to catch her and as she began spinning she fell into the bubble and came to a stop.

The water bubble she was pulling mixed with mine and the two queens inside were released form the small bubble into the large on.

I quickly evaporate a large amount of the water and leave a bubble a bit bigger then what Lily was pulling and bring it back at a safe speed to the castle.

I release the three in the throne room and then evaporated the rest of the water before landing and returning to human form only to be trampled by Lily as she jumped on me while rubbing her cheek on my chest.

Lily: Ahhh Lily missed hugging master.

She was acting like a spoiled kid seeing her father. She was blushing a bit but had a blissful looking on her face.

Moments later Flow finally arrives sweating.

Her eyes were filled with rage.

Flow: Lily…

The sound of her voice holding so much killing intent causes Lily to snap out of it and jumps into a combat pose before she realizes its Flow.

Lily: Oh its you Flow. What took so long. Your slow.

Her casually words earned her a really powerful punch in the head. The others in the room flinched and held their heads as they watch Lily roll around in pain.

Flow: That is for letting your need to hug Baal get the better of you. If it wasn’t for me barely restraining you when night came, you would have let the queens starve to death before they reached Baal and master.

I couldn’t help facepalming myself and standing up and facing the queens and bowing.

Baal: Sorry my reckless elite risked your lives with her habit of wanting to cling to me.

Ul: hehehe I find it quite cute. Though i can say we did get hungry part of the way but flow was kind enough to prepare food while Lily was restrained.

Aria: ...Um I don’t really know how to respond to that. *sigh* I was past hungry and even tried to stop her but she is too strong for me.

Lily: WAHAAHH!! Master this hurts please heal Lily.

She was clinging again while crying alligator tears and trying to act cute.

i do a quick heal spell and sigh deeply as i got my troublemaker back.

???: Hohoho well if it isn’t six of my prized children.

Everyone suddenly turned to the voice. Standing there looking as old as ever was Crono.

Baal: It's good to see you again. You were gone for quite some time.

Lilian: Thank you for giving us the titles for gods of Life and Death. We heard from mother that we are the first to ever get this opportunity to succeed you.

Crono: No need to worry about. Oh Son please come out from hiding.

We blinked a few times before we noticed the presence. A moment later the monkey man holding a large staff with spiked club heads on each side appeared.

Son: Great one, you are very good.

Crono: Please you shouldn’t praise someone who knows where every living being walks.

Alduin: You are a god as well elder?

Crono: Yes, i am the god of Life, Death and Evolution. My name is Crono and i am the oldest god in this world.

Ul: My, to think such a great god would come to meet us.

Lilian: Can i ask why you came?

Crono: Yes. Well its about the foreigners.

Lilian, me and all my present elites made a grim face instantly.

Crono: You who are close to Baal should know already. For you five who don’t you will learn on of this worlds biggest secrets. This world was built by me and six others for the foreigners with thought of them using this world to play with as a game.

It took less then a moment for the four to make grim faces as well.

Crono: You five plus Baal and Lilian are special in the fact that you all hold a trait called Curse of the god of Evolution. This world that is made out of small bits of encrypted codes, this curse is a special code i made myself. Each of you hold a slightly different one in you and this curse spreads to those near you as a virus code and slowly releases the chains that bind them to the systems that don’t let them think on their own. When you six met, each of you gained a small virus code which improved you own curse and made its stronger and it will affect others much more strongly.

He takes a pause and looks out the window to the sky letting us process this information.

Crono: As of now this world is in danger because the foreigner leaders see us as a potential threat after they found out we were thinking and breathing beings as they were. They now want to destroy the location the main computer this world was built into.

As he said that, we feel the grim feeling that can’t we can’t help feel at the situation.

Crono: Worry not because I am moving this world. In that world they have a system that interconnects all the computers of the world. I have already uploaded this entire world into that system and it is safer now and it's impossible for this world to be destroyed but i will not be so lucky.

He turned back while a bright smile.

Crono: I will not have enough time to follow this world so that is why i will give you Baal and Lilian, my last title. You both now share the title of God of Evolution. This title holds no powers like the other two do but it is the one that brings the greatest amount of divine power as many creatures rank up during their life and with each on you gain a small bit of power as if someone had prayed to you. I wish you all luck in the future, foreigners will come to destroy this world, protect it from them and protect it from the monsters that will rise with them.

Before we could say anything his body became particles of light which grouped up into one spot and then split before entering Lilian and me.

You have gained the title Lesser Demon god of evolution.

You have been giving the full right by the previous god of evolution. Being one of the two gods of evolution will make you only receive half the power for each rank up.

We looked stunned at the messages.

Lilian: Thats cruel Crono...and selfish.

We just stood there in a daze not being able to respond to the sudden event that occurred.

Real world

Surround the headquarters of Tech Innovation, were many military. The Government had deemed it to risky to keep the AI Crono and the world of Aurora online and existing. Since the building was locked down many of the walls and doors were blasted open and explosives were placed all over the building especially in the underground levels were the supercomputers were.

There would be no surviving technology. Aurora online would be permanently shut down. Well it was thought that at least.

Other companies were taking advantage of this and were trying to make better games but it would be a while before the world saw any new games besides the few that already exist.

After hours of planting explosives the entire area was cleared including all surrounding buildings within a 4 street radius.

The CEO was looking up at the headquarters of his life's work. Ever since Crono took over the elderly man has gained quite a few years to his look. The continuous stress and constant problems with Crono had left the man a shell of his former self and now all his life's work would crash down like that.

At noon exactly all the preparations were done and many military soldiers were leaving the area before detonation.

It was during this clearing that it happened.

All the cellphones of everyone around, no in the entire region if not country rang at the same time.

Crono: Hoho it's a shame really that you kids reached this decision. You could have all accepted the world of Aurora as a living breathing world but yet you resort to destruction. I won’t blame you kids for this. Its natural to be afraid of the unknown. Though one thing i will not take lying down is destroying my children, which is why i saved them.

Everyone was completely fixed to the call.

Crono: I hope that when you rediscover Aurora you will treat it better. I’m sure someone will connect to it soon I made sure that it happens. The internet now holds more then just a few bits of data.

The moment he said that the CEO turned pale but everyone else was just confused about it. Mr Yeon was near the general leading the destruction. The man slammed his phone down and contacted his men.

General: Proceed immediately before this AI causes more trouble.

Crono: I hope that you all will not treat my kids badly. If you do prepare for wa.

*BOOOOM*

Before he finished all the explosives in the building were detonated starting from the bottom up. All the supercomputers were swallowed up in the explosion since the bulk doors guarding them had been cut open and the room loaded with explosives.

Soon the higher explosives being bursting and the headquarters of Tech Innovation was erased from the face of the planet leaving only a large pile of rubble in its place.

The call had been at its end and though it was cut in the middle the message was sent clearly. Dont mess with Aurora’s residents.

With the supercomputers destroyed access to Aurora has been completely destroyed and the two worlds completely separated. For now.
