《The Demon and The Angel (Complete)》Chapter 13 Gods Revelation

I woke up and found myself in the throne room again. Like before, the miasma was just floating around. I looked up and saw the large dungeon core crystal. It had a faint purple glow coming from it.
Remembering Valeria's words of becoming a dungeon boss with Baal I stood up a flew up to the crystal. Like my brother did, I placed my hand on the crystal and from the touch I felt all the life signs within the entire castle. An image of the castle appeared and split each floor from one another showing it from above.
I saw on the 6th floor a fast moving bright light which was probably Baal flying through the corridors. Returning my mind back to the crystal I started to pour my mana within it.
It continued to greedily eat up my mana for a full 5 minutes until it happened.
From the cracks of the bricks around it light started to appear moving outwards. The crystal itself started changing. The reddish purple started moving to one side and turned black while a new color, a bright white with flashes of blue took the other side.
The two colors started circling each other trying to best the other but it couldn't and ended in a stalemate. As they spun around a small black and white ball each broke off from the larger mass of the colors and began floating within the other color. The whiteside now had a black dot within and the black had a whitr spot. These spots gathered at the center of the opposite color and began rotating perfectly in balance with each other. There was no more chaos within anymore as it had found its balance.
You have become the second boss of this dungeon. Because you are of equal strength to the current boss you will share leadershipBy becoming a boss of a dungeon with a demon you have made the dungeon unique as both demons and celestial monsters will appear. Your actions have created a unique type of dungeon core.Yin Yang coreThe Yin and Yang, good and evil, light and darkness. This is what true balance is. The two great forces never completely good or but never completely evil because good can be a reason to cause evil and evil can be done for a greater cause.
This dungeon core shows just how light and darkness works in the world. The beings born and summoned in the dungeon will have a balance of good and evil within them being never pure good or evil.
The screen vanishes after I finish reading and as I look around I notice a big change. The walls which were made of stone which still had the outline of the rock placed their, now looked like marble. It was perfectly plain and didn't even have the groves of the rocks. The floor wall and ceiling were all like this.
As I marveled at the uniqueness of what happen in the throne room I noticed something in front of me. A large rip through space itself was open into a bright space. As I watch something came out of the opening. Five somethings, one right after another.
They landed on the ground gently like the air itself held them in their gentle hands. I stood up and walk over to the things that fell out of the rip in pace which closed after the fifth one came out.
Moving them I noticed they were babies. There were, two were boys the rest girls, and on their backs were tiny white wings.
Lilian: Angels? No dungeons summon low level creatures. If lesser imps appeared for Baal what are these? They aren't fallen angels since they don’t have black wings. Lets check with uncle Slade.

They were all small so it was easy enough picking up all 5. As I got downstairs I saw many people holding more small winged babies. Soon I spot uncle Slade.
Slade: Ah Lilian by any chance did you cause this?
Lilian: I think I did. I found out why I wasn't getting stronger like Baal. An angel is like a demigod so I need follower. With that in mind Valeria suggested I become a dungeon boss with Baal and it worked well. Oh and what are these babies I don’t think they are angels.
Slade: Their known as cupid. They would be an alternate form of a fallen angel. From stories I've heard they should carry around bow and arrows.
Lona: These little guys are like brutes their weapons come after their first rank up so only after they rank up to normal cupids will they get their bows.
Hearing Lona's explanation made sense since no one is born with a weapon.
Slade: everyone help me a bed like we did for the Imps and place the little ones on it. Oh and Lilian.
He looked towards me and I swear I could see his eyes slight shine.
Slade: Since you're the cause of the cupids appearing, you're responsible for them. Baal is taking care if the imps so take responsibility.
Lilian: Eh? EH~~~~~!!!
The men and women around us looked at me and started laughing at my reaction.
Slade: All of you spread out through the castle and find all imps and cupids.
The order was given and after making a bed right next to the imp one and placing the babies there they headed downstairs.
Baal PoV
The Angel Lilian is now a dungeon boss. You and her are now in a mutual ownership of this dungeon.Becoming she became a boss of a dungeon with a you. This made the dungeon unique. Now demons and celestial monsters will both appear. Her actions have created a unique type of dungeon core.Yin Yang coreThe Yin and Yang, good and evil, light and darkness. This is what true balance is. The two great forces never completely good or evil because good can be a reason to cause evil and evil can be done for a good cause.
This dungeon core shows just how light and darkness works in the world. The beings born and summoned in the dungeon will have a balance of good and evil within them being never pure good or evil.
Baal: Well that was unexpected. I did feel though she was hiding something guess it must have led to this.
As I look around I see the lights remodel the room making it look like marble floors, walls and ceiling instead of stone and rock. Around me are tons of book stacked on huge bookshelves. The library I must say is impressive. It starts on the 6th floor climbing two other floors above it and they can only be accessed by going through the 6th floor entrance. Books after books line the walla and with the dense miasma here it gives a creepy look to it.
I move to the center of the room and when I reach it I begin focusing. Soon the black fog around me starts swirling and entering my body as its absorbed.
Surprisingly there isn't a lot of power in miasma. What makes miasma really impressive is that it feeds demon monsters sustaining them, while corrupting animals and powers up allies. The loose miasma in the castle is Galtons old power which he used to make the crystal. After I became the boss demon here at least half of it was released to repair the dungeon and to summon demons.

Having gained the ability to absorb miasma, I can purify rooms and keep it from coming back here. This is good since it would be a pain in the ass to loss so many books to rats.
20 minutes of absorbing the miasma and the room is completely clean of it and I proceed to the next floor. In all it took a whole hour to clean this place up.
As I walk around the top floor I notice a rifts open up. I've seen a few already, they had a blackish red border. This one was strange because it was white with a blue hue. From within a group of several white winged babies floated out.
Baal: White winged babies?? They may be like the imps. Should take them upstairs.
I pick them up and head down to the library's first floor where I encounter some paladins. A few already held some babies and running around and on top of them were a few mischievous imps.
Paladin 1: So you were here Baal. Seems you found a few cupids.
Baal: These little guys are cupids? Wait shouldn't they be fallen angels like Lilian was when her transformation had black wings.
Paladin: You don't need to try and hide it Baal we already figured out you and Lilian aren't human. After we confronted commander Hugh and Bishop Slade they admitted what you were.
Paladin 2: It kind of fit the missing pieces of how two 2 year olds had so much strength and skill.
Baal: heh sorry we didn't say anything.
Paladin 3: No problem it was the popes discussion anyway so we have to honor it.
I waited for them as they search the library for any more minion creatures. They find a few imps sleeping in the corners thanks to the help of the others imps they already found and my order to do so.
After that we return to the camp at the top of the castle. We find the room with a thin white mist in the air. And unlike the ones in our arma their are some 50+ cupids flying around playing with the imps. In the center of it all Lilian was playing with quite a number of them.
In my arms I feel something move. Looking down I see the five cupids I was holding woke up. I hold on in my hand while supporting the others and soon with a few flaps of its tiny wings the cupid baby was floating in the air. After making sure it didn’t fall I let go one by one until I’m free of my burdon.
Lilian: So you found a few already huh.
Baal: Ya. Now please explain exactly why you became a dungeon boss with me in the same dungeon?
She giggles and starts explaining what happened, how she felt and what she learned from Slade and Valeria. Half way through my jaws went slack hearing the info. To think it was something like that, we just went with it without questioning it but it really is a strange way to grow.
Baal: So what is this white mist?
Lilian: I purified the miasma in the room. It is the only way to wake up the cupids. The Imps appear completely awake because they appear in black miasma where they should be but these little ones need white miasma to wake up since they are celestial beings. The paladins are out trying to find them all.
Baal: There are quite a large amount of minions now.
Lilian: Have you seen those five that you woke up sitting on you.
Baal: No I’ve been out removing miasma from the library to keep it safe from demons.
Lilian: *giggles* Those five are sleeping in the bed chamber upstairs.
Baal: I kind of figured that when I spotted them going upstairs. Did you have any special ones as well?
Lilian: There were five that appeared in the throne room before I left. It was just after became the second boss.
Rachet: Five elite for each huh good number.
Baal: Feeling better Rachet?
Rachet: Of course being in a dungeon even if its an unconventional one like this and it doesn't belong to me already helps heal my wounds. I cant wait to see how this place will turn out. There's one thing I’m worried about though.
Baal: What?
Rachet: Well, the thing about dungeons in the mortal world is that the gods will always be notified when a dungeon changes, is made or remodeled. In this case even the dungeon core of this size was changed into something that never happened before. I’m worried of what the gods will do.
We all looked at him and then each other with worried faces.
Upperworld King of Gods Palace Thadius PoV
I was sitting on my throne overviewing all the gods work and the mortal world when this strange message appeared.
A Higher demon and an Angel have created a dungeon with mutual ownership.
Thadius: What nonsense is this! Show me these two
A clear screen of water appears in the air and as the shimmering stops an image of Baal and Lilian sitting playing with the lesser imps and cupids.
Thadius’s face started to pale as he looked at the girl and then the boy.
Thadius: T-t-that boy l-looks like L-Lucifer and...her. That girl. WHY DOES SHE LOOK LIKE HER!!!!
His voice roared throughout the heavens. He suddenly remembered what happened over two years ago. His pale face instantly turned red in rage.
Thadius: VALERIA!!!! WHERE ARE YOU YOU WRETCH!!!
Out of no where and impact smashed the gods face and pushed his face straight into the ground. The impact came from a beautiful woman that appeared from a bright light.
Valeria: Out of curiosity. Whom did you call a wretch?
Thadius pulled himself up and looked at the woman.
Thadius: Don’t play with me bitch!! Why is my daughter alive and already an angel?!
Valeria: Well she just underwent training in the Galton Castle with my paladins.
Thadius: And why is she still ALIVE!!
He yelled with all his might the last word.
Valeria: You abandoned the girl the moment she was born a fallen angel. You have no right to call her your daughter. I wont forgive you for throwing her away like trash. I’ve had my followers raise her to be a good person unlike you.
Thadius: And that BRAT with Lucifers face.
Valeria: You mean his exiled son. Yes I had him taken care of as well. He is a really good boy, kind and noble like he should be as a nobles son even without being taught to be.
Veins were visible on Thadius’s head as Valeria talked casually about the two children that should have died over two years ago.
Valeria: I don't see what your angry about. You didn’t really think I would have my followers kill innocent babies did you. My teachings are to hunt and kill evil. A child bares no sin in the world so I will have no harm befell them unless they deserve it.
Thadius: DO.YOU.WANT.ME.TO.GO.DOWN.THEIR.PERSONALLY!!
???: I wouldn’t do that “boy”.
The new voice appeared suddenly without him noticing. Valeria had noticed his presence before she arrived and wasn’t surprised to see the God of Evolution here. He was an extremely elder god and could easily kill ANY god he so wishes. The image he passes off is of an aged old man but Valeria knew better. Unfortunately Thadius doesn’t.
Thadius: What are you doing here you old bastard. Dont you know you cant enter the kings palace unless I call for you. Crono
Crono: Hohoho what a pompous little brat you have become. You were much nicer when I first met you as an angel during the wars.
Thadius cringed as he heard him say that. His killing intent started to leak from his pent up anger. This caused Crono to raise his bushy brows and pass his hand through his long beard.
Valeria: Rein you're killing intent you fool. You cant beat him.
As if the final drop to spill his anger the full blast of his killing intent rushed out like a dam of water bursting. This greatly pissed Valeria off and to Thadius’s surprise she released a killing intent just as great as his.
Crono: Hohoho you kids shouldn't fight.
The killing intent the two gods were releasing was shadowed by the cold bone chilling and quiet leak of the old gods killing intent. Not even releasing the full force of his pressure it subdued the “kids”.
Crono: Fighting between such high powered gods will only cause destruction.
His words were colder than the depths of the void. His gentle grandfather smile was gone and was replaced by a grim face of a hardened warrior ready for anything.
Valeria: As...impressive as always.
The god of evolution, the last “Original” god. Called the elder god he was one of the seven original gods that created the world. He is the youngest of the seven because he was created by the combined power of the other six. The other gods were the gods of the magic elements, Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Light, Darkness. They created him making him the god of Life, Death and Evolution. He has monitored this world since its creation. Even in his sleep he knows each and every creature that has lived on this planet or passed through it. He is without a doubt the greatest living god and has the power to match his age.
Valeria: I gained the title of goddess of Light from my grandmother the original goddess of light but I doubt I have 1/100 of Crono’s power. No even that much would be to much.
Thadius: H-h-h-how c-can y-you make such a-a deadly p-pressure!!
The pressure vanished like it was never there and the warm feeling of being around the old man returns. His grim look returned to a gentle smile.
Crono: Hohoho when you live as long as me you grow strong.
Thadius: HOW CAN A FORGOTTEN GOD HAVE SO MUCH STRENGTH!!!!
Crono: Forgotten?
His brows lift up showing his clear shining silver eyes.
Crono: Let me tell you something “boy”.
He emphasised boy to make a point.
Crono: I am the god of Life, Death and Evolution. I have never passed my title to another because their is no one that deserves it. Now tell me can the god of Life and Death really be forgotten. Even if they change my name and call for a different god those prayers come only to me. I also gain the faith of the demons and monsters in the other worlds because I am the one who makes them grow and rank up, even the creatures her in the upper world know and believe in me. Even you grew to what you are because I allowed it.
Thadius was infuriated hearing the elder god stand up to him. He was even more infuriated that Valeria defied him and showed strength equal to himself. He wasn't an original god or had the title and power of one of them. The originals could surpass him even if they weren't of the same rank.
Crono: Also “boy” you will leave your abandoned daughter alone. You left her to fate and now you find her alive you are whining because it didn't go like you wanted. It’s a shame how poorly the heavens have fallen to allow someone such as yourself be its leader.
He shook his head and his body started to turn into mist.
Crono: remember leave them alone or you shall face my wrath.
His voice echoed in the throne room leaving a foreboding feeling.
Valeria: I wouldn’t confront him if I were you Thadius. He has a much greater seeing eye then you, he “knows” more than you.
As she says this her body turns into particles of light and vanishes as well. Sitting in the empty throne room Thadius couldn’t understand what had happened. No god until today had crossed him. Every since he became king of the gods no one dared talk back against, fight, duel, argue with or even suggest changes to the domain he ruled. He looked into the image of the child he abandon.
Thadius: This is their fault. My reign would have continued without this humiliation if they had died like they should have. They will die. I dont care if a war between gods happen these two will die if it the last thing I do
Outside the throne room two figures look at him with pity.
Crono: So he finally lost it huh.
Valeria: I guess it was about time. I can only hope those kids are ready for what is coming because there's too much destruction and death in their future.
Crono: Continue supporting them my girl. This will delay his plans and give them time to prepare. Gather the other six I’m sure they will give you some support. I think maybe 3 or 4 years you can buy.
Valeria: Thank you for your advice elder.
Crono: Its my pleasure. I want to let those kids see more happiness because I caused them to suffer like this. Oh and that child the lesser god of war blessed. He was just born. Please find him and take him to the dungeon and raise him. He will be a good friend for the kids and even greater ally.
Valeria: I shall do that. Stay safe uncle.
Crono: Hohoho Its been so long since I heard someone call me that. Brings so many memories
The old man gave her a bright smile and walked away laughing.
Valeria turned to look at the madman who she once loved.
Valeria: I won't let you hurt Lilian, my daughter, more than you already have. I won’t forgive you for exiling my daughter as soon as she was born.

Primacy Online
Life on Earth was nearly eradicated in World War III, but using alien technology, the Patriarch of the Church of the Resurrection built a new society from the ashes. He created what he called the Constructed Reality MMORPG, Primacy Online, a world so real that the players could not distinguish it from reality. After outlawing wars between the city-states on Earth, he declared that all wars would be fought inside the world of Primacy Online. Thirteen hundred years later, the release of Primacy Online VI: Legacy of Balor signals the beginning of World War IX. Players from Earth's city-states will be locked in cryogenic capsules and play Primacy Online in War Mode. Their achievements in the game will determine the victory rankings of their city-states, but if they die in the game, they will die for real. Patrick Armagh found flaws in the game mechanics of Primacy Online and exploited them to rise to the peak of the game. But when the Church declared he was cheating, he was perma-banned from the game. Now, the Church has declared that Patrick and all the other perma-banned cheaters will be included in a special Church group for World War IX, where they can earn redemption for their sin of cheating. However, Morgan Danan, Speaker of the City of Mann, and the generally acknowledged number one player of Primacy Online, has a deal for Patrick. With her help and his method of cheating, he has the chance to become a virtual god within Primacy Online, but by taking up her offer, he will become an enemy of the Church. Like a significant percentage of Primacy Online players, Patrick suffers from an ultimately fatal, degenerative nervous system disorder. He has less than five years to live. With death staring him in the face and nothing to live for, he accepts Morgan Danan's offer, and once again, enters Primacy Online as Crom Cruach, a disgraced legend. Will Crom Cruach, once again, become a legend, or will he be destroyed by the Church? What secrets has the Church hidden inside the game?
