I continue to run deeper into the forest. I need more. I Need more! I continue running through the forest but I can't seem to find more slimes. I continue to run until I stumble on a small pack of wolves. 7 to be exact. Fine! If I can’t kill slimes, I’ll kill you instead! I use observe on one of the wolves.
Wolf ( Level 15 50/50 HP )
I don’t even let the fact that there’s 7 level 15 wolves ready to attack faze me. I instantly rush towards one of the wolves. The wolf swipes at me with its claws but I don’t try to dodge. The claws sink into my arm but before it could remove its paw I use my dagger to cut its whole arm off. It takes down a whopping 30HP from me putting me at 270/300. Before I could finish the wolf off, a second wolf jumps onto my back. It doesn’t do any damage but it makes me fall towards the wolf with the missing arm. Before I fully fall on the wolf I plant my dagger in front of me so as I was falling my dagger stabs the wolf in the chest. The wolf dies but now I have a wolf on my back ready to eat me.
Before I could do anything the wolf bites me on my shoulder. Dammit! That took 50HP! I try to get him off of me but I’m not strong enough to move him. Fuck! I can feel its teeth going deeper into my shoulder. Another 20HP gone! I’m still 3, my body is still small. At this rate its literally going to take a chunk out of me!
From all of my leveling I have 28 stat points which I put all into strength now making my strength 43. I hurriedly push of the ground with the wolf still connected to my shoulder. I stab my dagger through its head killing it instantly. 2 out of 7 down and I only have 200/300HP left. The rest of the wolves decided to stop watching and started stalking towards me. If I’m going to live through this, I need to be stronger. I absorb the two orbs.

I use the 8 stat points towards Dexterity. I’m going to need the dodge speed. My Dex is now 32. Looking at my stats for a quick sec before I got back into fighting the wolves. The fact that I’m not getting attacked is a miracle in itself. They must be hesitating because of the first 2 I killed.

Wait, 300/300HP? Does me absorbing the souls also restore my health? A devious smile crawl upon my lips. They can’t do anything to me. I know that they can’t. They know they can’t. That’s why they haven’t attacked yet. That’s why they're grouped together trying to look threatening. They’re scared. I can’t help it. I laugh.
“ Ha..hahah….HAHAHA HAHAHA!!! Come on little pretties don’t be scared…..Let's Dance!”
I jump towards the small pack instantly slashing at a wolf. It doesn’t kill it but I can tell it’s injured. I feel teeth sink into my leg. I stab at the wolf on my leg killing it. I hurriedly absorb the soul.

I ignore the message and throw my dagger towards the wolf I injured first. Death.
Level Up ( lvl 20 )
I run towards the fallen wolf and grab my dagger. I turn around to intercept the other wolves but they were turned away from me. What are they doing? …..Are they running away!? I run after them. No! No! No! No! No! No! No! NO!!!
“YOU WILL NOT ESCAPE!!!” I catch up to one of them instantly stabbing my dagger in its head. I hurriedly absorb the soul and continue running.

I run up towards the second wolf and kill it the same way absorbing the soul and continuing to run.

“One little piggy left getting chased by the big bad wolf!”
I’m to its tail. Its hind legs. Its torso. It head! I raise my dagger high in the air ready to kill. I bring it down.

I finally calm down after absorbing the last orb. I can’t believe what had just happened. It’s only my first day hunting and I leveled so much. Now that I think about it how did I catch up to those wolves anyway. My stats are not enough to go that fast. Then I notice all the blue screens following me around. Since I was in a rush I never got to swipe them away. I swipe through most of them before I stumble on something different.

Whoa, a new title. Although it is kinda rude it still helps and the Deaths Mind will really help in the future. With all of the screens gone my vision clears. There’s a whole pack of wolves in front of me! There’s like 50 of them all here growling at me!
