《Story of a Killer》Chapter 14 - Dangers of the 'Sun'

Arriving in front of Miss Sasaki, Damon noticed something weird; he could see her recoil when he got near like he was an open fire or something.
Tilting his head in curiosity, Damon looked at Miss Sasaki with an expression that asked her to explain. And explain she did.
"Your Aura is particularly uncomfortable for someone who has an Ice-related race as my Manifest. Please try and keep the Aura in your body, I feel like someone's pointing a flamethrower at me..." hearing the uneasiness in Miss Sasaki's voice, Damon couldn't help but grin letting his indifferent mask slip just this once.
Seeing his grin, Miss Sasaki squinted her eyes before throwing a bit of her Aura at him. Caught off guard by the sudden 'attack', Damon couldn't dodge and was hit by the Aura. To his fortune and Miss Sasaki's distress, he oddly didn't seem affected by her Aura.
Miss Sasaki's eye twitched a little before she sighed.
"So, Sensei, why'd you want me to come over?" Damon asked in a calm voice, feeling more comfortable around Miss Sasaki for some reason.
'That's...weird.'
Damon thought process was interrupted by Miss Sasaki answering him.
"Well, I want to know what you used as your image because your Aura's heat is truly something else and trust me when I say this, I've had a lot of experience dealing with Fire-Related Aura users and despite not having their intensity and power, the purity of your flame is...unsettling..." Miss Sasaki shuddered for a moment before continuing "So what is your image?"
Damon thought about whether he should tell her, thinking that he might want to keep it under wraps that he created a Sun as his Image but soon cast away that idea because that's exactly why he'd need to tell her. What if something happened with the Sun and it injured him? It'd be too late to cry over the spilled milk when he was dead from a Sun made of Aura exploding in his chest. So he decided to tell her.
"I made a Sun." Damon's calm voice spread throughout the room, shocking a few people who'd just woken from making their Images.
Miss Sasaki looked at Damon like he was an idiot.
"You made a Sun? The kind of Sun that will eventually turn Supernova and blow up in your chest before becoming a Blackhole?" She searched over Damon's face for answers before carrying on "The kind of sun that puts out unimaginable amounts of heat while also affecting all of its surroundings with its massive gravity? That. Kind. Of. Sun?"
Damon looked surprisingly at Miss Sasaki. Surprised she'd be so angry over him making a sun.

'Maybe making a Sun and telling her wasn't the best idea...? Oh well, the ships sailed now...'
He looked at his visibly pissed teacher and couldn't quite understand why she was so angry, so he decided to ask her.
"Yeah, that kind of sun. But what's the big deal? It's only an Aura Image, right?" Damon asked in a confused voice while raising one of his eyebrows.
Miss Sasaki put her hands in her palms and let out a majorly muffled yell and sigh at the same time before lifting her head out her hands and looking into Damon's lost yellow eyes.
"I'm an idiot..." She said in a self-deprecating way but she stopped herself before glaring at Damon "No, actually, I'm not. I just didn't expect an over-achiever to be in my class otherwise I'd have explained it..."
"Explained what?" Damon was getting annoyed now and was wishing she'd get to the point, his earlier feelings of being comfortable torn in two.
"That Aura Images evolve." She left what she said to sink in and by Damon's blank face, it settled in quite quickly. "Hills become mountains, Mountains become even bigger mountains, the bigger Mountains might even become Volcanoes...It's called Aura Evolution, it was going to be in the next couple of lessons."
Miss Sasaki slumped into her chair before speaking again "Well, no harm done I guess, you can always cancel your Image if it gets too dangerous for you and your body never truly lets an Image that isn't compatible with it form inside it."
Damon still had a blank look on his face before he finally spoke up again "So, you mean to say that my Sun's gonna become a--?" the last part of his sentence was caught on his tongue, not wanting to say what he kind of dreaded.
"A black hole? Yeah, I mean it definitely could if that's the kind of star you made, we won't know until your first Aura Evolution. Just don't worry, I'm sure you and all your Hybrid Power can handle it."
Damon let out a sigh of relief when he saw that Miss Sasaki wasn't too worried about it and because his confidence in himself wasn't going to be shook just yet.
Miss Sasaki shooed him off as she went back to looking at her papers and books. Turning around, Damon went and sat back in his original place, next to his would-be stalker. The green-eyed girl seemed to be done with her Image as well.
Unlike Damon who unknowingly unleashed an aura of intensity and domineering suppression, the girl let out a calm and vigorous aura full of life.
Her green eyes seemed even brighter than before, only serving to further annoy Damon.

"I heard what you made for your Image. Quite unusual for someone from the undead faction to made a Sun as their Image, most undead hate the sun. Not like the Nature faction, we love the sun--" she wanted to continue speaking but Damon put his hand up to tell her to stop.
She wouldn't have usually stopped and would have instead carried on even further but with his bestial glare backing up his hand, she found herself frozen in what she felt was...fear.
"I don't want to join your faction, I'm quite sure I've said this before. So please, stop staring at me." Damon spat these words out before looking away, ignoring her existence and closing his eyes.
Looking inside himself at his Image, Damon saw it continuing to send out waves of energy and heat tempering his body. He felt a weird pull on his body from the sun in his heart, like gravity was affecting more than just the blood that went through his heart now.
Moving his arm to test a theory, Damon did indeed find it a bit harder to move his arm and worst of all he felt this pseudo-gravity increasing. It wasn't too bad at the minute but as it kept increasing, Damon knew that his body would be continuously struggling to work if he didn't work it out.
Reaching out mentally and grabbing this pressure on his body he started to drag it back to his heart and to the sun. But as he brought it back to his heart, he realized he'd made a massive ball of gravity inside his heart.
The pressure on his heart and blood were incredibly immense and before anything bad happened, Damon released his hold on the force and let it spread throughout his body again.
Cold sweat went down Damon's back when he thought about how his heart felt like it was about to collapse. He could only hope he could handle the pressure but he had hope that his healing factor could keep him alive long enough for him to collapse his Image if something happened.
Damon was brought out of his mind by Miss Sasaki's voice, opening his eyes he heard her explaining to the others about Aura Evolution so he tuned in as well.
"...it happens when your Aura Image exceeds its limits. Take my Image, for example, I'll leave all the details out because I don't want to reveal my full Image but imagine I made a Blizzard, a massive storm of snow, ice and the cold." She lifted up her hand and summoned a contained Blizzard onto it, sending a cold wind around the classroom
"Now, Aura Images don't get bigger they just repeat, so my Blizzard became two Blizzards and then three and so on and so forth." She summoned a few more blizzards around the original one, with each Blizzard the overall strength of the cold got stronger.
"Each time they were my Blizzards got stronger and my Aura capacity increased drastically. That's how it'll be for all of you as well before finally, you get 10 of your Image where it'll combine and move onto the next stage of its Evolution." Ten Blizzards appeared and then combined into a Blizzard the same size but much denser and purer that released a cold leagues above even the combined effort of the ten Blizzards from before.
Damon looked at it with curiosity, wondering how strong his Sun would be after it's first evolution and whether he could handle it or not.
"But." Miss Sasaki sharply said, knocking people out of their stupors at the strong Image "You've gotta make sure you can handle your own Image. If the Mountains too big and heavy for your body to handle, it'll crush your heart. If the River's force is too much for your body to handle, your body will get ripped up like a piece of wet paper in a blender..." Miss Sasaki purposely looked at Damon before speaking again.
"...And if the fire's too hot and your body's not strong enough, you'll get burnt to a crisp." Damon squinted his eyes as he thought for the barest of the second that he heard--
'Concern and Worry? About me? From the Woman who slapped me about a room and smiled while doing so? Even if she takes pride in being a Teacher and cares for her Students, the care in her eyes is a bit...extreme.'
Damon felt his body shudder for a little bit before Miss Sasaki looked away from him and toward the rest of the class.
"So you need to make sure your body is constantly breaking its limits, constantly getting stronger and constantly getting better." Her face was grim but as soon as it came it was gone, replaced by a blinding smile which dazzled the students, despite them being girls "So that's why we're going to the Gym room now to see how your Aura affects your bodies!" Miss Sasaki had perked up considerably after saying that her Students could be in danger from their own Image and seemed more like her usual happy-go-lucky attitude.
Damon and the others got up from their seats on the ground at this and followed their eccentric sensei.
