《Story of a Killer》Chapter 1 - Being Recruited

POV Change - Sgt Akane Kusanagi
Akane walked into the school building with her gun raised up and pointed ahead of her.
She was with 5 other people who worked under her at the minute and they were here because someone had called the police to report a murder. It would've been a fairly normal report for a murder if the person didn't also add that they were the one who committed the murder themselves.
Behind the police officers were a few brave medics but their slightly pale faces betrayed their calm facade. They were here because the 'killer' on the one had also requested an ambulance for two girls who were there.
Akane had started to piece some things together about what may have caused this to happen but she'd like to ask a few questions to the girls before jumping to conclusions.
As they got to the 2nd floor, they edged slowly toward the classroom where the killer said he would wait with the girls. It was an abandoned classroom in the far-off corner of one of the buildings that were rarely used, so it didn't seem like the most ideal place to stage a crime.
With their slow speed they were walking at and their nerves it took a while for them to finally get close to the classroom but as soon as they did, they saw the supposed killer.
Akane was shocked at the person's absolute size. His 6'5" tall body was full of perfectly trained muscle, neither being too big nor too small, his blonde hair and golden yellow eyes showed his foreigner status along with his sharp and masculine face which seemed different to Japanese men/boys of his age.
Akane raised her gun and pointed right at the boys head, partly out of her training and partly out of fear as she saw the barely suppressed savage glint in the boy's animal-like eyes.
"Get down on the ground, sir!" Because of his foreign looks, Akane spoke English to him as she was panicking slightly and forgot he spoke Japanese on the phone call. The man seemed slightly surprised at her English and smirked.
"I can speak Japanese, don't worry." the man's voice was calm and deep but there was a weird kind of cheeriness in his voice as he lifted his well-muscled arms behind his head and got on his knees.
Akane rushed forward with the others covering her and put some handcuffs on him. When she got close to him, she smelt it and saw it on his hands. The blood.
His hands were caked in blood which was still slightly wet. It looked like a child who'd been playing in the mud if the mud was red and less thick. But that wasn't where the main smell was coming from.
Akane slowly arched her head to the left and looked inside the classroom.

Gasping at what she saw, she rushed inside because of the appearance of the girls. One of the girls, a red-headed, blue-eyed tall girl, who Akane could have guessed was an incredibly beautiful girl once if it wasn't for the bruises and cuts all over her face.
The other girl had black hair, blue eyes and was quite small and petite compared to the red-headed girl.
"Medics, get in here--!!" Before she could finish her sentence, Akane saw them. The bodies.
One not too far from her had his neck twisted in an unnatural way, another one close to that had a completely crushed neck and one a few more feet away from that one had a completely collapsed skull and blood pooling around its groin area.
She went to look in the furthest part of the room but something distracted her; the redhead crying while tugging on her shirt. Something inside her was glad that she didn't get the chance to see what was in the furthest part of the room.
"P-p-please don't arrest Damon...H-he only did it to protect us from those p-pigs..." the girl's voice was shaky and she repeatedly stuttered over herself but her intent was clear; the boy had killed the others because of something they did.
Akane consoled the girl and looked towards the smaller girl who was dead-eyed and wouldn't react to anything but she seemed to be whispering something. When Akane put her ear incredibly close to her ear he heard what she said.
"...Damon won't like me anymore...I'm not pure anymore..." Akane had a bad suspicion of what happened as she got up and walked outside and called for the medics. Luckily the medics were also women, so if what Akane thought had happened, actually had, the girls wouldn't react badly to the women medics.
Akane called in what had happened and asked for a forensics team to come down here and see what happened. After she did that she looked at the boy, who she guessed was Damon and spoke to him.
"Why did you do that in there?" her voice was slightly shakey after what she'd saw what this boy was capable of but she kept her calm as she spoke.
The boy looked at her and smirked. "Because they dared to touch my childhood friends with their filthy hands." towards the end of his sentence, his smirk turned into a smile that would be considered handsome if it weren't for the situation he was in.
Akane basically confirmed what had happened here with this sentence however but she could only sigh because the boy had killed the offenders he would be punished instead of them because the murder was seen as something worse than rape/molestation.
POV Change - Damon
A few hours later~

Damon looked around the interrogation room as he lay back into his chair as far as the chains attached to him would allow.
Letting out a sigh, Damon wondered how Erika and Ayano were. He knew they'd probably be in a bad place right now and here he was, not able to help them because he had to be caged before he hurt anyone else.
At this very moment, Damon lamented the fact that he was so different.
If he was normal, he would have beat those four within an inch of their lives, obviously, but he wouldn't have killed them meaning he'd be able to stay with Erika and Ayano and help them through such a hard time.
Thoughts whizzed around Damon's head; Escape, Fight, Kill, Escape, Fight, Kill. It was the same cycle and it repeated endlessly, slowly driving Damon insane.
As he was about to enact his own crude attempt at Escaping, the door to the interrogation room opened up. The Sgt from before and a new person walked in. Damon looked at the Sgt, black hair and eyes like most Japanese people but her busty and curvaceous figure was unlike most women in Japan which gave her a unique and mature beauty.
The man who was next to her was about 5'11", had black hair and unusual grey eyes. He seemed incredibly well-built and had an above average face but his constant smirk made him seem incredibly sleazy.
"Thank you, Sgt Kusanagi, I can take it from here." his voice was calm and seemed both warm and cold making it sound incredibly weird. The Sgt nodded and walked away after closing the door.
The man walked over and sat opposite Damon who was curiously looking at him. "So what are you here for?" Damon sounded disinterested in the man after looking at him enough.
Hearing Damon's forthright and blunt speech, the man laughed slightly and brought up his briefcase before answering Damon. "Well, my young friend, I'm here to recruit you for the talents that you've just recently shown."
Damon squinted his eyes and looked at the man with curiosity. "Talents? Do you mean how I kill things efficiently?" Damon asked with a jovial tone that didn't quite fit the situation.
The man smiled and nodded his head "Indeed. Your cheerful tone proves that you're the right kind of person that we need."
"We? So you're talking about an organization that needs killers?"
"Yes, I work for an Organization that trains people to kill. And obviously you can't make a killer out of an ordinary person, you need that talent to already be there. So we keep a lookout for young people who show this particular talent." The man waved his hands around as if he was getting bored of constantly having to repeat this to people.
"And what if I say I don't want to?" Damon casually threw this out because he wanted to know his options.
"We'd throw you to the wolves and you'd go to prison for the rest of your life. You also wouldn't be able to see those lovely ladies you saved again either~" The man's tone was starting to annoy Damon now.
"Was that a threat?" Damon's cheeriness had disappeared as he leaned forward slightly, his entire aura changing and becoming dark and twisted.
The man held his arms up in mock surrender. "No, no, no. We wouldn't threaten a potential recruit. Those are just the facts. Why would we protect someone who wouldn't join us? It's kinda like investing in a business that won't turn over any profit; Pointless and a waste of resources."
Damon let out a sigh.
'That makes sense. What else could I expect from a group of killers.'
"Okay. I'll join but you have to promise me you'll keep this entire thing under wraps and won't let Ayano or Erika get implicated in it. If you can't do that, the deal's off." Damon lay back again, showing his compliance through his tired tone of voice.
"We were going to do that if you joined anyway. Those two girls are lucky, not many killers are this emotion-driven." The man shrugged his shoulders before opening his briefcase and handing Damon some contracts to sign and a pen to do so.
Damon read through the contract and saw everything was as good as he was gonna get and quickly signed through all the pieces of paper.
"So what do we do now?" Damon asked as he handed the contracts and pen back.
"Now? Now we just walk out of here and you can go see those two girls before we go and run some tests on you to see if you're ready for the training." The man got up and unlocked Damon's chains with a key Damon didn't see him take out.
Damon stood up and followed the man out of the police station, all of the police simply looking away from where they were and slightly shaking as if suffering major indignation.
Damon followed him to a car and they drove to the hospital where the girls were. Damon felt slightly nervous at seeing them after what he showed them earlier but he knew he had to get it over with if he wanted to go to this Organization without regrets.
Before long they arrived at the Hospital and the man, who Damon had learned was called Nox, hurried him out of the car.
'Here goes nothing.'
