While Naath slept a figure in the depths of space turned his head ever so slightly. He was glancing towards a particular region of the sky of the planet that he was on. The group of people he was talking with noticed his action and had seen him do this only a handful of times over the last few centuries. One of the five people around him spoke up asking “master, have you found another?” The man looking towards the sky simply nodded his head and jumped into the air, in the next instant he began using his martial energy and flew directly in the direction that he was looking in. He quickly tore through his atmosphere and in a matter of minutes was halfway out of his own solar system. He was moving through space at an alarming speed as he made his way towards a particular direction.

His face wore a very serious expression as he focused on flying at his maximum possible speed towards a certain place. As he was flying he muttered to himself “this one is different, my other students cannot compare.” As he muttered that he seemed to resolve himself for something and stopped flying entirely. Instead, he reached out his hand and tore open space itself creating a dark opening in front of him that was otherwise invisible if he didn’t have martial energy to sense it. He stepped through this hole in space and when he did he instantly arrived above another planet. His face was pale white, clearly causing that tear in space had taken nearly all of his martial energy from him.

When he saw the planet below him however he smiled lightly muttering to himself again. “Always these ‘backwater’ little worlds that give rise to startling talents, the heavens truly like to play us all for fools.” The world in front of him had three large continents on it separated by vast oceans he nodded saying “by no means a small world but its level is truly disappointing, its core must have been damaged in ages passed.” The man closed his eyes and seemed to be sensing for something with his energy. After a few minutes, his face twisted into confusion and he opened his eyes staring at the world below in disbelief. He shook his head and went down towards this world landing on one of its three large continents at random.

Once he was on the planet's surface he closed his eyes again and spread his senses out once more. However he only felt more confused the more he sensed around, the presence he was looking for disappeared completely. He pushed his senses even harder but still found nothing, he let out a breath. “I guess I will have to change my search a little and look for unique physiques and oddities in this world. This will take some time, how troubling. Then again my senses have never once been wrong. I will find them.” He flew up into the air after saying this and closed his eyes for a brief moment. After doing so he looked in a certain direction and disappeared from the spot.

Inside of Naath’s soul sea the rune’s face was slightly pale and he was shaking his head whispering so Naath wouldn't hear him. “He’s already attracted the notice of a bigger fish huh? Sorry bigger fish, he isn't done here quite yet.”

In front of the rune was a large array that was clearly draining most of his energy to maintain. Its function unknown to anyone but the rune however, one thing is very clear it is a heaven-defying formation. Naath himself was in an incredibly deep slumber as he recovered from the experience of having his physique examined. His chest was rising and falling rhythmically as he slept soundly. Elder Gui looked at Naath and his eyes held a trace of pity for a change, he shook his head and took out several vials from his spatial ring.

He opened the vials and one by one began injecting Naath with a little bit of each of them. Baal was confused and asked, “Master, what are you doing to him?” Elder Gui ignored him entirely and simply continued. The rune however knew what was happening and chuckled lightly.

“So the old man has a sense of pity, does he? Ah, he is truly an ideal master. Little brat you truly stole some luck from the heavens to achieve this. I hope you remember these lessons, ah right your asleep. Ah, I know!”

As the rune spoke up he began engraving everything that was happening into Naath’s memories by force from his soul sea. The rune nodded satisfactorily but he paled a little more clearly it was taxing to maintain that formation and to imprint memories. Outside elder Gui had now injected Naath with the contents of hundreds of vials and showed no signs of stopping. Several hours later elder Gui had injected him with no less than 1,294 different things. After he injected the last one he noticed Naath’s breathing become slightly erratic and nodded his head finally speaking up.

“Baal watch over him, If his condition changes for the worse call for me immediately. I’ve been watching him for a long time, his cultivation method is very special. It’s like it had much much more power to it but Naath simply cannot access it. It’s probably similar to how one's body has much more strength than a person can consciously summon out except under special circumstances. If one uses this strength too frequently the body tears itself apart. I can't help but wonder what would happen if he used his cultivation methods’ true power. I’ve already seen it do crazy things but I feel as though I've seen the tip of the iceberg. Like his body simply hasn't acclimated to his cultivation method yet.

So while he is asleep I injected him with every poison I own and am letting his subconscious mind handle the process of dealing with it. His arts should work automatically in this life or death situation and when he wakes up he should be entirely immune to 99% of the poisons this world can ever even attempt to harm him with.”

Baal nodded his head in understanding and looked back to his unconscious friend who was now processing hundreds of poisons in his body at the same time. He became vigilant and sent out his martial senses to keep an eye on the surrounding area while he sat down in a corner of the room. Naath in his deep slumber was not in his soul sea for a change but instead, he was in a hazy grey space in front of a massive black and white seed. Naath felt the true void energy condensed inside of it and realized this was the true void seed planted inside of his own body. It made him curious whenever he thought about it. The seed so far had only absorbed his true void energy and the energy of heavenly tribulation.

Despite this, though the seed seemed to not change even a little bit, it was as if it were waiting for something before it decided to germinate. Naath sitting in front of this seed in his spiritual body seemed minuscule before it. The seed to Naath seemed like a two-story building just sitting there in this hazy grey space. Naath began flying around the seed looking for anything that might help him discover how to get a form of reaction from it. After failing to find anything despite searching every single inch of the seed, he shook his head.

Muttering to himself he asked, “What will it take to make this seed show a reaction?”

He started to lose himself in thought when suddenly as if responding to the question the seed quivered ever so slightly. It was a small almost unnoticeable quiver, and had he not been paying such close attention to the seed this entire time Naath wouldn’t have noticed it at all. His head flew up to look closer at the seed that had just quivered, when he did so he noticed a small mist of true void energy had formed near the seed. He cautiously approached it but then realized it was some of his own true void energy the seed had consumed some time back. Realizing this he lost all hesitation and reached out to grab the energy. When he did so information seemed to flow directly into his mind.

After receiving it Naath chuckled lightly and spoke to himself “so that’s what's going on here huh? Okay, I can understand that, can’t have something like this falling into just anyone’s hands after all now can I?”

Having reached an understanding he circulated his true void arts and the seed began to move according to his will. Soon the seed had already reached its destination just outside of his soul sea. With a faint smile and one final push, Naath put the seed inside of his soul sea. The instant it was inside of it Naath felt his spiritual body being pulled into his soul sea. Once he was inside of it, the suction force did not stop. Instead, it seemed to grow stronger, the seed seemed to be absorbing his entire soul sea completely. In a panic, Naath began to use his full effort to control his soul and spiritual body and resist the suction force.

It was useless however, the seed had a firm hold on Naath and his soul sea’s energy. It was pulling in his soul energy at an alarming rate and the rune was panicked as well having no idea what was going on. The rune's connection with Naath’s soul sea was severed completely and the rune was ejected from Naath’s body. The rune looked back at Naath and was simply stunned seeing the young man's body lying there seeing it from the outside for a change. Baal stood up immediately when the rune appeared with a startled look. The rune quickly stretched out an arm of soul energy from itself and spoke into Baal’s mind.

“Wait I am the secret master who has been guiding Naath this entire time. I'm just as confused as you are!”

Baal halted immediately hearing these words in his mind, a confused look running across his face when he suddenly felt a change in Naath. Both he and the rune noticed it and looked over at the unconscious young man. His skin starting at the center of his forehead began turning a grey foggy color. At first, it was a small dot that gradually began to expand, the dot slowly expanded after about five minutes late the dot was big enough to go down to his nose. His skin was still changing color slowly but surely. At another location, the same master that had made his way here from another world turned his head chuckling lightly as he spoke to himself.

“Haha there you are kiddo, I knew you wouldn't be able to hide from me forever.” He turned in a specific direction and began flying at full speed. A loud bang occurred as he broke the sound barrier almost instantly. Naath’s skin at this time was already entirely that grey obscure color. Baal and the rune worriedly looked on wondering what was happening with Naath. While they were watching for changes and waiting they heard a loud bang from outside of the hut and turned to the door rushing outside to see what was going on. What they saw caught them both off guard, Baal flinched and a look of horror appeared on his face. The rune shook and he fled into the earth itself to hide.

Where they were looking, Elder Gui had been smashed into the mountain and was laying inside of a crater that had to be at least 500 feet in diameter. A mysterious man standing in the sky looking down speaking a strange language as he slowly made his way towards the hut Naath was residing in.
