《True Void Arts. (old version)》Chapter 24. The terror of true void!

The rune spoke up with a shaking voice saying “Naath, I knew you were an unparalleled genius. However this goes beyond that, this goes even beyond heaven defying luck. The fact that your bones are able to transform like this proves the quality of your true void arts. While these changes won't be obvious to others they mean something truly grand! Your bones have reached a state of almost complete perfection, your unique physique is of the highest tier! Lower ranked physiques only allow someone a slight boost in affinity to their element.
All this does is add a slight resistance to damage from this element in general situations, not combat. A middle ranked physique allows them to resist the element to a much higher degree even exerting some control over the element later on as their physique advances. A high ranked physique will allow one to resist even elemental attacks as well as being able to exert much more control over the element. If someone with a middle rank physique of the same element vied for control over an element that someone with a high rank physique wanted, it wouldn't even be a contest.
The middle ranked physique user would be completely unable to do anything. Not only that but the high rank physiques allow the users at later stages to summon their element around them and manipulate them to an incredible level. However, above high rank is peak rank and above that is the absolute rank. Beyond even these is a pure physique! A peak rank physique has all the advantages of the high level as well as the fact that they can convert any energy of this element into their own flawlessly and vice versa. The absolute rank physique will generate this elemental energy passively inside one's bones and use it to temper the rest of their body at all times.
The pure physique is something straight out of myth, the other physiques simply cannot be compared at all. A pure physique means that a person's body is the embodiment of their element. The element their physique uses can never harm them no matter what! Not only this, the element it is based off of will passively protect the user’s body from harm. With your true void element, I dare not even imagine what this might be capable of later! Along with this defence, they can use their element and tie even with the element opposing their own. If a fire elemental body fought against a water elemental body user most of the time the fire user would lose miserably.

However, if the fire user had a pure physique they would not lose out, their fire energy would go against natural law and not be impeded by water! On top of all of this, the pure physique increases the power of the elements used and controlled by the person who has the physique. Naath you are a monster through and through, only the primordial beasts born with the universe itself were known to have these physiques. You may yet be able to accomplish a certain favor for me much further in the future.”
Naath snorted at the thought of doing the rune a favor. However, something caught his attention Naath asked “old rune if only primordial beasts had these physiques how do you know so much about it?”
The rune let out a breath and said “I will tell you later, just know that there are very few things I do not know.”
Naath grunted at the disappointing answer however he quickly pushed these thoughts to the back of his mind as he ran his true void arts. The circulation rate had more than tripled, not only this now his bones acted like more true void membranes! Naath ran his training for true void mist control.
The true void mist responded in only a minute this time gathering completely around his right hand. Continuing to only take a minute to switch to other places on his body. Naath was absolutely flabbergasted at the results. He ran the third level of the true void arts and went up to a tree and laid his palm on it. In a matter of minutes, Naath’s hand had gone clear through the entire tree. Naath was just stunned on the spot, he had never imagined the effects would be like this! Naath began to work on his true void arts alone seeing if he could start working towards the fourth stage.
At the fourth stage Naath should be able to compress his true void energy into armour covering his entire body absorbing most of the force and energy trying to harm him. However, after Naath focused only on his true void arts he realised he was a little behind the halfway point of mid-stage three. Naath nodded with this and decided to test out his new pure body out in combat. He used his innate ability and hid his aura completely sneaking around to find a beast to fight. After only ten minutes Naath’s soul sense had found a peak ninth level rock bear. Naath grinned maliciously. He silently made his way over to the bear and walked out in front of it casually.

It was as if Naath were an emperor who was walking in front of a beggar with overbearing arrogance. The bear didn't hesitate to charge and slammed its front paw down on him. Naath casually ran his true void arts, a true void mist appearing everywhere but the bottoms of his feet. He raised his left arm casually to block the blow when the bear's paw struck Naath’s arm. All of the physical force was there and the mist did not block any of the force. However after the bear made contact it retreated immediately.
A drip....drip...drip sound came from near the bear and the place where its paw made contact with Naath was missing skin and bleeding. Naath smiled and said, “that's right, hitting me is going to hurt like a bitch.”
The bear roared, going mad with rage, it didn't hold back at all anymore hitting Naath with full force. Naath slid back several feet, his own feet leaving dirt trails in the ground. Naath felt a dull ache in his arm now from the impact and shook it slightly. However, the bear opposite him was now bleeding even more heavily.
Having hit Naath with the same paw twice, the bone was now visible in the bear's paw from the wound. Naath laughed loudly at the bear and enjoyed every moment of this. Now it was Naath’s turn to attack, he commanded all the true void mist to go to his fists as he dodged the bear’s attacks. When it was all concentrated into his hands Naath threw out a palm on the bear's chest. His hand sank into the bear's chest until the bear let out a terrified and pained roar retreating. Looking at the wound one could see that the bear's ribs that had come into contact with Naath’s hand were half eaten away!
Naath smiled even wider seeing this and charged forward again, the bear was now terrified and tried to retreat, however, he was not going to allow that. He formed his finger to look like a blade and pierced through the bear’s back concentrating his true void mist like a blade's edge and pierced the bear’s heart killing it instantly. Naath sneered at it and left going back to where Brutus was. Brutus now had a small whirlpool of wind around him pulling energy into his body at an incredible rate. Naath smiled seeing this, it meant Brutus had already hit peak first stage of the whirlwind arts.
Naath sat back down and went back into cultivation however the rune spoke again saying “ah right Naath, before you attempt to go into muscle strengthening I have some advice. You will have to destroy your bones one last time and the muscle and tendons will then connect with them, fixing your bones levels in place forever. So this time around take your time and compress as much as you possibly can. Your compressions are already monstrous however, this is absolutely crucial. After this time the compression will stay in your bones even after they regenerate.
This will determine how much energy you can hold and produce as a base while working into muscle strengthening. The more compressions one has the denser the energy that will flow into one's muscles and this means that they can absorb much much more energy as it hasn't even been compressed once yet it is already in a dense state. This will also have a dramatic effect on your future cultivation.” Naath simply nodded at the advice and went back into cultivation slightly calming his anger towards the rune but still remaining cold and indifferent.
