《Last Grace: The Apex of Another World》Chapter 30 - Yes or No

It took around a day and a few hours for Lucifer to get to the next village. The following village was close to identical as the last one. The biggest difference between the two villages was the location of the village center, and the number of huts. From a few seconds of listening Lucifer discerned that they spoke a similar if not identical language to the village of Bounei. They could be trading partners, or just migrated away and carried with them their language, it mattered not in the end.
It was simply something that Lucifer thought about.
He also thought about his new iron sword that he bought using his CP from the system.
But that was not what mattered at this moment.
With confidence, and no more idle thoughts Lucifer walked straight into the middle of the village rather than remaining on the furthest outskirts where he was prior to moving.
As his appearance was rather eye catching, of a different race and so much taller compared to themselves they quickly surrounded him, stopping what it was that they were doing to just look at him and stare. At him and his dark gray sword that was positioned in Lucifer's right hand. They hesitated on what they should do, of course a few goblins rounded up their weapons to question the foreigner. The weapons remained primitive, spears and hatchets nothing spectacular.
Except they could not find the words to speak to the being, not that they didn't know what they wanted to ask in their hearts.
‘What are you?’
Due to there silence Lucifer had no choice but to speak first shoving down their questions deep into the depths of their heart. A smirk creeping up on his face Lucifer smiled cheaply to the surrounding crowd of sharp eared goblins.
“Anyone that wants to survive follow me if not… you can guess your fate. Now what is your choice you mutts?” His voice carrying a visceral intensity to it, a new feeling it was for Lucifer.

They quaked slightly when they heard his voice. Save for the emerging village elder he remained calm.
All villages have an elder, this one better be wiser than the last.
This village's elder had hair that looked greasy and placed into a ponytail. He wore tribal clothes that seemed to stand out a bit more when you compared it with the rest of the villagers.
This whole village was subpar besides its chieftain, they were plain now that he compared the two villages mentally. This chieftain looked better than the previous villages, this one actually had hair.
Lucifer did not care for all the attention though, he solely came there to ask one question, if they answered no he would just slaughter them.
They were small and creepy, the world would be done a favor, but he did not owe the world a damn thing.
He wanted them to merely obey, he would not tell them to listen the second time around.
With his superior strength and looks they would have to want to follow him. Lucifer was mightier than anyone than he had encountered. Attractive, saintly and honorable..ish.
He knew ladies would jump at the chance to follow him. However he was not going to ever be that type of person.
Lucifer glared as he remembered the acts of some of the people that he had tortured in Hell. There deeds… they were treating women like objects. Sure you can flaunt them about, that means that you care about them. But you can't decide their own actions for them.
They have to choose their own path, if they accept that path, fine. If not let them live and change their life for the better alone.
Though the way they presented them was the problem. If they are attractive and smart they are not a mere human, they have a purpose.

All humans had a purpose. It's just that some humans have lived long enough.
But these were goblins, and there population was mostly made up of males.
There could be ladies among them but as far as he could tell they were just as ugly.
Lucifer’s smile faded into obscurity at the sound of the old goblins voice.
“Leave foreigner.”
Without hesitation the moment that the elder said that he swung forth his iron weapon, a sword forged from iron slamming it into the goblins stomach. Reaching deep into the goblins intestines.
Blood gushed from the chieftains stomach.
“You bastard!” screamed the chieftain coughing out blood. Lucifer just continued to push the blade back into the chieftain's gut at the same place. The chieftains intestines jostled around as Lucifer did this, the wound stretched and widened at the same time.
More and more blood oozed from the chieftain until with the chieftains dying breath left the world.
“Finally…” Lucifer said turning around.
“Who's next?”
Unable to control their emotions any longer everything went to hell. Most ran away while the few defenders had the quickly disappearing initiative to defend their village.
“You guys too?” Lucifer asked tired of all the bullshit.
They glared back at Lucifer holding onto their weapons as their last act in desperation.
“Its fight or flight ladies.” Lucifer chuckled.
Running towards the nearest goblin, swinging his iron sword to the right he beheaded the spear wielding goblin. With no time to react to the goblins compatriot Lucifer ducked as a hatchet wielded by a goblin sought his head.
A hair's breadth away from death Lucifer held his iron sword, jumping back onto his feet with both hands on the hilt of the blade he removed the goblin wielding the hatchets torso from its lower body.
He was just so tired of the bullshit, what's so hard about giving Lucifer a run for his money? Eye for an eye?
Lucifer was again reminded that there remained no honor in this new world.
It was disappointing really.
Not a pathetic display for a moment of vigor.
In no way was this sight worthwhile for the time it took him to get here. He hated the sight of weaklings running away.
He hated the odor that they gave off too.
They couldn't even beg quick enough, he could end their lives with one swipe of his iron sword.
The rest of the defenders didn't even resist, they just took it like a pathetic weakling. Out of their minds in fright.
Lucifer annoyed by the weak wills of the defenders hunted the goblins that sought a way out. They seemed to be more feisty compared to the defenders. He already got rid of the so called defenders of the village. Those that ran away were all that were left, and survived longer - for now.
Their breaths grew ragged as the goblins ran.
They were scared.
Moving forward was all they could do.
And yet that did not spare them of their fate.
Lucifer sighed, the darkness taking over the sky.
The field of corpses that made an erratic path of carnage was Lucifer's testing ground.
His first of many.
Lucifer covered in a hot mess of entrails and sticky crimson wandered back into the forest in a new direction towards the last village.
No way in hell would the next village mistake him for a mere messiah.
He was Lucifer, the fucking ruler of Hell.

Rage: Crisis / Consequence / ???
Its been ten years since Seth was given his powers, ten years since his town was driven mad by that very same power, and ten years since its source was shunted into his head. A species of energy beings, a people filled with regret for what their entrance onto this world caused. Regret for the deaths that town perpetuated, the devastation they brought, the blow they served to the once proud heroes of this world. Heroes Seth now hopes to join, hopes to heal and atone to for what transpired. But their wounds run deep, their ire sharp, and their acceptance thin. And to top it all off... Seth's power is run far deeper than he knows, and sees his world in a light all its own. This series is my first foray into authoring, with two parts out of at best four if the readership stands. But part three will still book end nicely otherwise. And I'm not stopping till then. It is action heavy with varied and ramping up fight scenes through out. (Book 1 is heavy / Book 2 a little lighter) It is bloody in places, mildly gory in others, and heavily gory in simulated places. Nothing truly horrifying, I think, but be warned. It has trauma. PTSD is a major part of the story, but I will never trust that I got it completely right, so your mileage may vary on how believable or impactful it is. Lastly it has language. Swearing ebbs and flows as the story progresses and attitudes harden or soften. Sometimes bleeding through into the narration... somehow.

Once you go Wuxxia you never go back. [Not a Parody but moreso a revised wuxxia.]
Robert Nord wakes up from a deep sleep, one he regreted to ever take. Instead of waking up to his well-known, stark, eggshell-white ceiling, atop his luxurious 800€ mattress with down feather duvet and fluffy cushions, he finds himself staring at molden planks of wood, a stench of sweat, blood and iron mellowing in the air. A world of swords that sunder oceans and fists that crack mountainsides. This is a world known throughout the dimensions, a world of wuxxia and xianxia. (This fiction will be parodying many a wuxxia and hopefully do a good job with it. Not only will I try and stress the most ridiculous down-sides of wuxxias but I will also take a shot at making it enjoyable while I'm at it. And don't be fooled by the Lit-RPG tag, after all, every MC needs his secret weapon, regardless how much they try to deny it.)
