《Breaking Limits: A DBZ Fan-fic》Chapter 53

"She's having a blast, isn't she? "
Sarada nodded to the words of a blanched Krillin. He knew the kid was powerful. She was related to the monsters that were Sarada, Kakarot and Bardock. Still. He did not imagine the magnitude of her strength. Like all of them she always supressed her power. Even as she fought Piccolo her power was not equaling his own. It was lower and still she tossed him around like a ragdoll. Krillin realized with a shiver that Lotus was the type that attacked one mentally as well as physically. She knew how Piccolo worked. She made him push rational thoughts out the window. In his anger he was not thinking straight. Not seeing through the toddler's childish smile. Not seeing through the childish eyes.
Piccolo was sent flying again. He clenched his teeth in pain. The damn child had easily ripped off his arm and so casually discarded it. She drifted above him, waiting patiently for him to regenerate and come back to her. She was looking down on him. How dare she? She was nothing but a child. There was no way she was stronger than him. He tool a calming breath. He had to clear his anger. That's the reason she was getting the upper hand. She wasn't stronger, he told himself. He was just letting his anger cloud his thoughts. Yes. That was it. He should not let a child anger him so. She was beneath him. She was but a puny human. She was nothing compared to him. None of them were.
Lotus raised a brow when Piccolo reappeared before her. She made to avade him, but he read her movements and intercepted her. She blinked as his fist connected to her skull and sent her down with a force. She tilted her head as she was quickly approaching the earth. It seems he saw through his anger. He regained his senses. Ah, well. She shrugged. Maybe things will get a tad more interesting, no?
The sound of impact reached their ears. Even from that high up in the air her crash could be heard. She lay there on the hard earth for a moment. The earth has not broken under her. The impact was absorbed, as was the functions of their planet now. It would not be destroyed as long as it absorbed anything aimed at it. The toddler stood from the ground, ignoring the arrogant laughter of Piccolo. She rolled her shoulder, removing the tense aches. She tilted her head up, eyes locked on the Namekian. The smile was gone. The childish look was gone. She ruffled her hair to get the sand out and dusted herself off. Slowly she climbed into the air. She eyed the watch at her wrist. It noted the amount of power she released. Still lower than Piccolo. She looked away taking off her shirt. She dropped it. A loud sound emanating upon impact. She was left with another, rather casual shirt. She shrugged, now that the weight was removed. Weighted shirts was something she frequented as a form of training.
She was face to face with Piccolo now. They stared each other down before Piccolo decided to attack first. He decided to put an end to their useless fight. He has no need to draw things out any further. He had a wish to make. After he takes care of the child he'll retrieve the dragon balls from the rest.
Sarada looked on in interest as Piccolo aimed one arm at Lotus while the other supported said arm. She recognized it immediately. The Explosive Demon Wave was strong enough to wipe out an entire city. It was quite impressive seeing as it came from a pathetically weak Piccolo. However, he was far stronger now. That attack could wipe out multiple cities.

Lotus realized this as the Namekian powered up the attack. She felt his ki climb rapidly. She was interested in the attack. She wanted to see what it could do and see of she it was something she could copy.
However
In the middle of his power up Lotus appeared behind him, leg raised and a ki ball forming at her foot. To say Piccolo was surprised would be an understatement. He was not fast enough to move away from her range. She brought her leg down and the ki ball hit him straight in his back. He screamed as it burned through his flesh, effectively burning a hole in his chest. The ball of power ripped through the air after emerging from his chest. The attack he had been building up died immediately as he lost all strength.
"Did you really think I was just going to let you power up what was most likely your strongest attack? " the toddler asked as she caught the namekian by the neck. His chest was pumping out purple blood and he spluttered, choking on his own blood. "That was a very stupid assumption"
Sarada sniffed as she almost shed a tear at the scene. She was so proud of her. She nodded, yes. Very proud. She'll be rewarded greatly after this.
Bulma sweat drooped at Sarada's actions. Seriously?
Krillin was sweating bullets. Damn, a five year old outclassed him. He really needed to up his training or else. He could only imagine what she would do to him if he ever made her angry.
Tien and Chiaotzu were dumbfounded. Was the girl really a five year old? Holly hell. They could hardly keep their head up in the face of Piccolo's immeasurable power. And yet this child was unaffected and even matched him. In fact they were sure that simple attack of hers would have killed Piccolo was he not capable of regenerating. They shivered when a small smile spread across her Lips as the hole in the supposed "demon's" chest started to patch itself up.
They were nothing compared to her. A realization that had them sweating bullets. They were nothing compared to any one of them.
Lotus let go of the namekian when his wound healed. She watched him make a good distance between then. He scowled. She tilted her head. He flinched when she was in front of him. Before he could get away from her she took him by the antennas. Her other hand came to grip his head tightly. She looked pensive as she dug her fingers into his flesh, ignoring his pained shout.
"If I destroy your brain, you're dead"
He froze, his eyes meeting calculating black. She figured it out. She was not assuming. She was dead serious. She was certain. She believed what she was saying. Nothing was swaying her observation.
"But if you die, Kami dies"
A sudden wave of relief washed over Piccolo and he allowed himself a smug smile. No matter how strong this child was she would not -could not kill him. She could not risk the dragon balls.
"But we can always bring him back with the dragon balls"
"That's where you-"
"I am not wrong" she was very casually although her eyes told another story. "Kami's dragon balls aren't the only one on this planet. If his are gone we still have our own"
Lotus smiled at the complete look of shock on Piccolo's face.
"But if we bring him back you'll come back too, right? That's what you want to tell me, right? " she was grinning now. "We can always work around that"

Her fingers digged deeper into his skull, before she abruptly pulled away.
"Prepare that attack again" She told him as she stood a distance away. "I'll prepare my own, we'll see which is stronger. Of course if yours is weaker than my own, you die. If mine I'd weaker, I die. Fair game, right? "
Piccolo scowled. He said nothing, however. As much as he wanted to. As much as he wanted to put this little girl in her place. He knew better than to say anything that will cost him this opportunity. She was not stronger than him. He had been repeating that. She did not let him power his attack before because she knew of the damage it would do. She knew she would not survived.
He told himself that and he fully believed it.
He stood in a familiar position, readying The Explosive Demon Wave. It would surely be the end of the cocky child. He knew so. Her own arrogance will be her undoing
Lotus adopted a stance of her own. A familiar one too. She had seen her brother and sister use this attack, but never tried until now. She was very confident in her ability to perfrom the attack. It was quite powerful and very useful. She had her hands at her side as a ki ball started to form between her palms.
Piccolo's hand starter to glow with the power of his attack. He smirked. This was it. He could feel the power building. It was the end for this child. She would be nothing but ashes by the time he was done with her.
"Explosive demon wave! "
Lotus quirked a brow. Why did he need to announce his attack. She found the name to be pretty stupid in all honesty. Her video game had better attack names. Even Kamehameha sounded better than that.
She shrugged.
Might as well go along with it.
The blue ball of ki grew between her palms as "The Explosive Demon Wave" got closer and closer to her.
"Ka Me Ha Me " she grinned as she thrust her hands forward, sending off a massive beam of ki. "Ha! "
Everyone else actually felt pity for the namekian. The difference was as clear as night and day. Lotus Kamehameha wave completely dwarved Piccolo's Explosive Demon Wave. He stood no chance from the very beginning. His scream of defeat and pain was the last they heard as the attack engulfed his entire body.
Sarada had a keen eye and saw him produce the egg she had been waiting on. With her command a cloud was sent to catch it. She had no interest in touching something that just came out the guy's mouth. The cloud returned to her just as Lotus' attack faded and left nothing behind. Piccolo's entire body was destroyed by the attack. How he had managed to produce the egg in time was beyond her.
It didn't matter because either way she still got the ever edgy Piccolo junior.
"Game over! Victory goes to Lotus! "Lotus exclaimed with a laugh as she flew around in circles. "The crowed goed wild and the stadium is filled with the chanting of her name! "
"Lotus! Lotus! Lotus! Lotus! " Kakarot chanted, happily playing along with her little game.
Gine actually worried about how easily her daughter got over the fact that she just killed someone. Maybe those video games are too violent. Then again, maybe it's for the best. Any normal child would be scarred for life. Being a saiyan and belonging to the family she was born into she was sure she would be witness to death many times in the future.
"Did he seriously spit out an egg? "Bulma asked in wonder as she observed the egg before her. "Is that how they reproduce? So there is no need for females? Do they even have an actual gender? "
"Now you're curious about Kami's race? " Sarada wondered. "We went to their planet and everything and you only now have questions? "
Bulma shrugged. "I had other things on my mind back then"
"Seriously? Something distracted you from your natural curiosity? "
Bulma nodded.
"Ok, now I'm curious"
Bulma shot her a look. One that told her how much of an idiot she thought the other was.
"I mostly had you on my mind. Stop being an idiot"
Sarada furrowed her brows. She did?
Bulma rolled her eyes. Even now she's dense.
"So, does Piccolo have a kid now? Or is it Kami's kid? " Chichi wondered as she approached them.
"Both" Sarada shrugged. "I'll be leaving this with Kami. I'm sure he can raise the somewhat evil namekian that will pop out of here"
"If he can't? "Krillin wondered.
"If he can't we'll just have to step in"
"You put the old guy through a lot, Sarada"
~~~~~
North Kai had been following the events on earth. It was always entertaining to watch Sarada and her family go about. He knew Piccolo would be no threat. No human had lost their life that day. It was safe to say that Piccolo did not even touch upon his goal. A bit underwhelming really. Kai knew that as long as Sarada and the others were present on that planet no danger would be a threat to them.
Kai was interrupted by the familiar shout of Bubbles. His brow twitched as he ignored the animal. He shouted again, more desperate this time. His brow twitched again as he angrily turned around.
"Shut up Bubbles! "
"Oh my, I do believe Bubbles was just trying to alert you of my presence"
At the calm voice Kai abruptly turned around and came face to face with universe seven's angel. Whis towered over him, a passive smile on his face as he stared down at the shell shocked Kai.
"W-w-w-" the Kai could not even begin to form words in the presence of this being. An angel. The creatures that mentor the Gods of destruction. One wrong move and he could end up in serious trouble.
"A saiyan has taken my interest, north Kai" Whis began as he turned to face the smaller planet drifting nearby. "She's very ambitious. Very weak as well, but she grows rapidly. That is somewhat impressive and very dangerous"
The Kai gulped. He knew exactly who Whis was talking about.
"She'll make a worthy protege, no? " he turned back to the silent Kai. "You've interacted with her many times. Maybe you can tell me what I do not know. Her presence is a mystery to me. I do not know how she came to be. She is no reincarnated soul that I know of. So the question is; what exactly is this saiyan and where did she come from? "
Of course Whis asked him a question he did not know the answer to. To think the angel was as clueless as he. Sarada really is an enigma.
"I don't know"
Whis hummed and stroked his chin.
"I suppose I'll have to ask her myself"
A Nerd's Wet Dream Come True (Tossing an OC into Marvel)
John was an average man. At least that's what he tells himself at night. He lived in a rented apartment in the decent district, a well-paying job, and more student debt than he cared to think about being steadily paid off. Yet he was absolutely miserable. He spent his days living like a zombie, a slave in all but name to corporate. His only joy these days it seems was reading comics and writing fanfics. SI ones. Choke full of power fantasies and large harems. Yeah, even he had to admit he was a loser. His only redeeming feature seemed to be his photographic memory and the library's worth of comics and books he has read. Yet, when fate took pity on him and had John transported into the Marvel Universe, he was only all too happy to oblige. A second chance to make something of himself. Is he going to finally have the comfortable life he wanted? Will he laze away relying on his past life's knowledge or does he want more this time? Will his ambition and hard work lead to sweet fruits, or will it rot away in the darkness hiding beneath the colorful costumes of the hero's society? Now with crossovers! Be warned if you don't like to see OCs messing up the timeline or DC and other stuff showing up. I swear I'm not randomly adding stuff and there is a legitimate (as far as comic books and fanfics can be) plot reason why. (I'll be honest, I don't know "cannon" marvel really... I watched some movies and animated series as a kid, but I haven't picked up a comic in years. This is just some light-hearted and casual writing for fun. If there are any errors or something you think would be cool please let me know.) I'm also trying to have multiple main characters so that might be jarring for some people while I switch perspective. Sorry in advance, I'm new at this and idk what I'm doing, advice and feedback gladly welcomed!
