《Breaking Limits: A DBZ Fan-fic》Chapter 46

Sarada was humming to herself as she worked on the watch Kakarot somehow broke. She had to have him take it off so she could fix it. She figured it was as good a time as any for the boy to learn how to suppress his ki. As it was she was sitting in the sand at Kame house as she did her work. She kept glancing at the young Roshi who was still being worshipped by Coco. She did not leave him alone for a minute. Sarada could only chuckle in amusement. Maybe the guy will finally find love and settle down. She could only imagine the child they would produce. At the young age of five he or she could be a massive pervert. If it's a boy she will keep him away from her future kid. In fact it mattered not what gender the kid turned out to be. It could be a girl who swings both ways. Yup. She's keeping her kid away from the perversion incarnate that Roshi will produce.
"You know you can work on that later" Bulma said as she pulled the watch out of Sarada's hands.
Sarada raised an eyebrow in question before trying to reclaim the watch.
"Later" Bulma said firmly. "Now we have fun"
Sarada sighed and let Bulma put the watch away. The other girl was in a one-piece swim suit. Sarada was questioning if Bulma planned on swimming long before they ended up at Roshi's place. Her swimsuit was pink in color and slightly revealing. Sarada had not been paying too much attention to her so she didn't really notice until that moment.
"You planned this from the start, didn't you? " Sarada asked as she let Bulma pull her towards the sea.
"Yup" She nodded as she casually reached into Sarada's pant pocket. "I even brought you something to swim in"
"When did you slip a capsule into my pocket? " Sarada asked with genuine surprise. She hadn't notice Bulma doing such a thing . You would think she'd feel a hand slip into her pocket.
Bulma was grinning brightly at the question. "You were distracted "
Sarada sighed. So that's why. Before they left Bulma for some reason saw the need to kiss her. It was way too distracting. She had an ulterior motive all along.
"You're abusing your power"
"Am not"
"Yes, you are. You distract me for your own personal gain. And here I was thinking you actually loved me"
"Oh shut up" Bulma pressed the capsule into Sarada's palm. "Change"
Sarada rolled the capsule in her hands for a moment. She wondered what Bulma packed for her. It better not be revealing.
~~~~~~
Bulma was grinning at the exasperated face Sarada wore as she waddled into the water. She didn't seem happy with what she had on. Bulma had packed her some red boy shorts that she thought would go well with the black flounce bikini top. The whole point of the top was to show off what Sarada didn't tend to fluant. Bulma was very happy with herself as she drifted away from the grumbling Sarada.
"You just had to, didn't you? "
"Yes I did" Bulma said proudly as she swam away from the unhappy Sarada. She stopped some distance away and could only laugh at the face Sarada was making. "Don't be so grumpy"
"This isn't my style"
"At least I got you boy shorts instead of a traditional bikini bottom" Bulma defended. "Besides, you can finally show off some cleavage"
"I don't want to" Sarada sighed and splashed Bulma. "You're just being selfish "
Bulma spluttered as Sarada continued to assault her. She began to swim away only for Sarada to pull her back.
"Stop! "
"This is what you get! "Sarada laughed as she increased the speed of her splashes. She wasn't giving Bulma any room to open her eyes.
"Damn it Sarada! " Bulma pounced blindly, stopping Sarada and tackling her.
Sarada was quick to adjust to the extra weight and kept them both above water. Bulma decided to lend no help at all because she stopped treading water. Apparently it was her form of revenge.
"Now you're just being a big baby" Sarada teased.
"You were being annoying"
"You started it"
Bulma grumbled.
"Hey, incoming! "
The two looked up when they heard Kakarot's voice. He was on his nimbus along with Chichi. The boy had on black swimming trunks and looked ready to jump. The huge grin on his face was a give away.
Sarada and Bulma knew well enough to make some distance before the boy jumped. He was pretty high up.
The boy whooped when he finally jumped off his cloud. There was a massive splash of water when the boy landed and disappeared. When he resurfaced he was laughing happily and swimming around.
"Come on Chichi! "
Chichi looked down from her spot on the cloud. She didn't know why she let Kakarot talk her into her current situation, but she might as well. With a sigh she stepped off the cloud and let gravity pull her down.
Sarada drifted idly in the water. Kakarot started chasing Chichi around and Bulma disappeared. The only one not there was Krillin.
"Where's the cue ball? "
"That's mean, Bulma" Sarada said even though she snickered at the nickname.
"Krillin didn't want to come" Kakarot said as he fought off an annoyed Chichi. "Something about not wanting to drown"
Sarada couldn't help her amusement. Krillin didn't trust swiming with the bunch that were so much stronger than him. He probably though that the would start some over the top game that he could not compete in because of various reasons.
"Anyone up for a game? " Kakarot asked.
"What do you have in mind? "
"Not sure"
"How about" Sarada trailed off as she lifted herself out of the water, floating just above it. "Let's see if any of us can run on water"
"Seriously? "
Sarada shrugged. "If we're fast enough we can do it"
"I'm in! "Kakarot drifted above the water as well.
"Splendid" Sarada grinned. "Let's give it a try"
"Three"
"Two"
"One"
"Go! "
Both pushed off, sending water flying back. They flew first, collecting speed before trying to actually run.
"Crap! "Kakarot tried and failed immediately. He spluttered as he pulled himself above water to catch a glimpse of his sister. Sarada got two steps before she too fell.
"Again! "
They did it again and again. Bulma and Chichi stayed back and watched them struggle. They seemed to be having fun despite the fact that they kept falling into the water.
"They're really trying" Bulma noted as she drifted above the water.
"Can they do it? "
"A lizard can run on water, perhaps they can figure it out" Bulma shrugged. They need to move fast enough to stay on top.
After around 30 attempts and fails the two figured it out. They were grinning as they managed to stay on the surface for at least twenty seconds. That was deemed a victory to the two.
"Yeah! "
Sarada laughed at her brother's enthusiasm. He literally shot himself out of the water like a pistol and did multiple flips in the air before swan diving into the water.
"Kakarot, you lost your trunks" Sarada laughed when she spotted his shorts drifting in the water near her.
Kakarot resurfaced and laughed sheepishly.
"They just slipped off"
"No kidding"
"Those two are relaxing back there" Kakarot pointed at the girls that stayed back. They seemed to be having a conversation.
"It wouldn't be very nice of us to ruin it , would it? "
"No it would not "
The two smiled and fist bumped.
"Watch this" Sarada floated out of the water and held her palm facing up. She focused for a moment a watched as a ball of water formed in her palm. She smiled in success and let it drift in the air as she created more.
"Whoa, that is cool. How do you do that? "
"I learned to convert ki. It took some time, but it was worth it" Sarada said proudly as she focused on creating as much water balls as she could. They were the size of soccer balls and for good reason.
Once she made a good number she motioned for Kakarot to join her in the air. He knew what she had in mind immediately.
"Target locked" Kakarot said as he brought his foot up, ready for a kick.
"Ready... Aim.... Fire! "
The water ball was sent flying. The siblings watched in silence and anticipation as the ball flew through the air. They both snickered when it hit Chichi right in the face. Kakarot bursted out laughing when he saw her face.
Sarada soon took her turn and sent a water ball straight for Bulma. Her aim was true and the girl was hit.
"Oh yeah"
Suddenly the girls were in the air and heading towards them at a very fast pace .
"Ah, we're in trouble" Kakarot chuckled nervously.
"Quick, rapid fire! "
~~~~~~~
There was a loud explosion that startled Krillin. He looked to the sea, where it had come from and saw four figures. He didn't know what they were up to, but it looked like some sort of two against two war was taking place. He didn't know what they were using to attack eachother but it was going back and forth. He was glad he didn't join them. He knew something would happen. He could feel it in his gut.
Someone crashed into the sea followed by another and the two remaining flew down after them. They all disappeared under water for some time before they reappeared. It looked like two of them were being angrily chased around.
What in the world was going on?
"They seem to be having fun" Roshi noted. He was standing in front of his house and watching the scene. He could not tell who was who, but the scene was interesting no less.
"They have strong ki" A female voice said casually.
Roshi glanced at the redhead that stood next to him. For the first time in a while she was not focused on him. She was eyeing the scene with critical eyes. He didn't know she knew of ki. She could sense it no less. It would make sense. Her ki is pretty strong. Stronger than he was originally actually.
Krillin widened his eyes in total disbelief when someone formed a massive ball of water above their head. Even from his spot on the beach he could hear the victorious laughter of who could only be Sarada.
The attack was sent towards the other three and everyone on the beach watched the aftermath.
"Um... " Krillin stood when a massive wave was spotted. It was heading towards the beach at incredible speeds. "I think we should get out of here"
"Ditto" Coco agreed and took to the sky, shocking Roshi and Krillin.
"You can fly?! "
"Why, yes I can" Coco said with a radiant smile as she drifted near Roshi.
The man had a nose bleed as he stared up. He could see right up her skirt.
Coco smirked deviously at the man's reaction. She was very aware of what he could see and she was very amused.
Krillin wasn't distracted at all so he knew to run. Roshi, however did not and was sadly swept away by the giant wave that washed over the beach. Coco laughed as the man was pulled away by the wave. She waved innocently as he disappeared under water. He didn't come up for some time.
"Awe, don't go and die. I planned on having so much fun with you "
At the sentence Roshi popped out of the sea immediately.
Krillin sweat dropped at his master's behavior. His expression soon changed when he saw two figures flying towards them at rapid speeds. It was Sarada and Kakarot. They were laughing like children as they flew past the boy and the house.
Followed by them were Chichi and Bulma who were shouting their names in their annoyance.
"We regret nothing! " the siblings shouted as they evaded the girls expertly.
"You'll pay! "
"You gotta catch us first! "
The two split up, heading in separate directions.
"Good luck! " they shouted to eachother.
Sarada was laughing even when she was tackled out of the sky. She had let Bulma catch her on purpose and was wrestling with the other playfully. With superior strenght and speed she managed to restrain Bulma easily enough. She created a nimbus cloud and proceeded to pin the struggling Bulma to it's softness.
"I win"
Bulma groaned and stopped struggling. She glared, but it didn't stick. She really couldn't be mad when Sarada was smiling like that.
"No more fight left in you, huh? "
"I surrender "
"Do you now? "Sarada raised an eyebrow, her grip on Bulma's wrists did not loosen. She could be playing a trick on her .
"Yes"
"I should believe you, why? "
Bulma said nothing for a moment. The thought of escaping did cross her mind and she knew that Sarada suspected that.
She sighed and changed her mind. She kind of liked the position she found herself in.
"Well? "
"You really need a reason to believe me? "
"Yes, you're very sneaky"
"Would you believe me if I told you I like the position I'm in? "
Sarada's grin turned into a smirk full of possessiveness at the confession.
"I definitely would"

The Orb Weaver Chronicles
"The Orb Weaver Chronicles contains several major and unique events that may or may not unknowingly intertwines with one another. The author of these chronicles is unknown, although some have hinted at the symbolism behind its name..." - Year unknown, location unknown 9 February 2022 Update: Welcome to the companion short story compilation of my novel trilogy The Shadow Paradigm. This compilation features prequels, sidequels and sequels to the novel's major plotline, as well as featuring a wide range of characters, new and recurring. Prior knowledge of the novel is not necessary as the Orb Weaver Chronicles' short stories are standalone. Once called The Arkesyyan Chronicles, I've deleted quite a few of its old stories. Due to the new avenue and revision, oriented toward more mystery and film-noir ambience, that I took my stories into, I've removed all aliens and overly sci-fi aspects of the whole TSP lineup, so I've updated the Orb Weaver Chronicles accordingly. I hope you enjoy them, and in time, a revised version will also be updated.
