《Breaking Limits: A DBZ Fan-fic》Chapter 32

Bulma was very happy with herself. She was humming an unknown tune to herself as she ate the noodles she had prepared. Sarada sat opposite her and sighed. Bulma couldn't be bothered. It was day two and she did something she had been wanting to for so long. She finally landed a hit on Sarada. Sarada was not excepting it because Bulma did something unacceptable to distract her. Sarada never gets distracted, but Bulma had the audacity to pull something like that.
Unacceptable.
But she sat quietly and let the girl have her victory. It put her in a good mood and a happy Bulma meant Sarada could get away with more "crimes" than she usually could. But she still couldn't come to terms with what Bulma did. She couldn't come to terms with the fact that it actually distracted her enough for Bulma to pull off a successful attack. It was not fair.
She sighed again and munched on the sushi she had gotten herself. It's best she not think about it. She would give Bulma her win. As she ate Sarada busied herself with her glasses. There was something she wanted to do with it. She had installed a couple of stuff into it. What she wanted to do was make it a bit like E.D.I.T.H from spider man. She was not trying to copy Tony . She didn't have deadly drones connected to the system, but she built it to connect to her interface. And her interface was connected to Frieza's network. With the glasses she could do a lot. Plus it could function as a scouter while she's at it.
She added the last modifications and slipped the glasses on. She pressed the side of it and saw words appear on it.
Synching system is what it displayed.
Bulma had been following everything Sarada had been doing and she was curious. What was she planing with the glasses?
"What are you doing? "
"Creating an AI "Sarada replied simply as she stared into the glasses. She took it off and observed the outside. The words could not be seen on the other side. Handy.
"An AI in the glasses? "
"Yes, I think it would be very efficient " Sarada slipped the glasses back on and mentally ordered her interface to hack into Frieza's main data base and transfer everything over to her. With the info she could know where Frieza is and when. She would also find out what planets were under Frieza's control and what he planned on using them for. She could also learn a lot about the technology he uses and get blueprints to any work in progress.
"What do you plan on doing with it? "
"A lot" Sarada chuckled when a loading screen appeared in front of her. Interface had located the database and would need some time to download everything on it.
Knowledge is power.
"Can I see? "
"No"
"What? why? "
"Because of that stunt you pulled"
"Geez, I thought you didn't care"
Sarada grumbled as she put the glasses away. She tried not to care, but she did.
Bulma smiled when she saw the look on Sarada's face. Who would have thought such a thing would actually affect the girl. She refused to accept Bulma's victory because of how it happened.
"It's not like I did it on purpose " Bulma really didn't intend for the incident to happen. It just happen. She saw her chance and took it. She really didn't care about what happened when she did. She was not expecting such a thing to actually distract the calm saiyan. Sarada didn't seem like the type to be affected by such a thing. But apparently Bulma thought wrong. It seemed like Sarada hadn't expected that of herself and was trying to figure out why in the world she was distracted like that.

"It doesn't matter. You took advantage of it, that was low"
Bulma couldn't help but giggle. Sarada actually looked like a child the way she sat similar to a frog with the soles of her feet pressed together. Her hands were folded as she glared at the floor.
"Are you pouting? "
"No, I'm not"
Bulma wasn't convinced. She ate the last of her noodles all the while keeping her eyes on the pouting Sarada. It's a sight she never thought she would see.
It was cute.
"You want me to apologize? "
Sarada sighed and shook her head as she shuffled some sushi into her mouth. She couldn't get the image out of her head no matter how hard she tried and that was what bothered her the most.
"I don't get how you're so affected by it. It was just me. We're both girls"
"That doesn't mean it's ok for you to just be butt naked in front of me and use it as a damn distraction"
"Hey! I had on a towel. Stop talking as if I was jus wandering around with no clothes on"
"You should have just put on some clothes before deciding to pick a fight with me"
"I wanted to catch you by surprise and that was the best chance I would get. How was I supposed to know my towel would fall? "
"It's a towel it would have to fall when you move around too much "
"Okay, fine. You have a point"
"Ok, you should have picked it up when it fell"
"I would've, but then I noticed that you were frozen on the spot and took my chance"
"That was not cool"
"I'm sorry"
Sarada said nothing and only ate her food. Distracted by a naked Bulma. What the hell was wrong with her? Bulma was a girl, like her. It was nothing she hadn't seen before
Stupid.
She refused to look at Bulma or even think about the incident. The image was still in her head and she wanted it out. It was distracting and if she's distracted she can't work on her projects. She needed to think of something else.
"Not cool"
~~~~~~~
Sarada dodged an incoming attack from Bulma and easily dealt her a low kick. She stood aside as the girl tumbled to the floor and sighed. They had been at it for over an hour. Bulma had been taking hit after hit. Sarada decided to build up her durability. So she was dealing her more blows than she usually did.
"You alive? "
"Of course I am" Bulma hopped onto her feet and charged Sarada again. Said saiyan only sidestepped and gripped a blue tail. She squeezed and Bulma squealed and lost all strenght in her body. They had been training her tail, but it was still vulnerable.
Sarada let go when Bulma fell face first into the floor.
"Your tail is weak"
"Thanks for pointing out the obvious"
"You're welcome" Sarada helped the girl up and balanced her when she wobbled. "Let's take a break"
~~~~~~
Sarada was positioned on Bulma's bed, tablet in hand. She was designing her own dragon balls and dragon with a stylus pen. She had many ideas. She wondered if she could influence its color. If she could she would make them red with orange stars. Or blue with red stars. Her dragon. What to do with her dragon? Shenron style dragon? Parunga style dragon? Some type of ape looking dragon, seeing as she's a saiyan and all. Or maybe a western type dragon. She wasn't sure. She was just drawing multiple options. Maybe she could have more than seven dragon balls. In the future when everyone knows about the wish granting orbs they would think to find only seven. Sarada would hold onto balls number 8 and 9. Just for the fun of it. It would come in handy if the person who sought to have a wish granted was someone with bad intentions.

She wondered if her dragon balls would be strong enough to restore an entire race. The Namekian dragon balls couldn't do that, as far as she knows. The only dragon balls she knew of that had absolutely no limits were the super dragon balls. Of course if she decided to hunt those down she'd be noticed. That is if she hasn't already gathered the attention of the angels. They're neutral creatures so they might leave her be, but their gods of destruction might not. Sarada always found it amusing how god of destruction could just be GOD when one uses the first letters of the words.
Maybe she should become a god of destruction.
It was a nice thought.
"Why are you in my room? "Bulma asked as she stepped out of the bathroom.
Sarada didn't even look up. She knew she would find Bulma in a towel and then her memory of the incident would be resurfaced. She just thought about it again and sighed.
"I didn't bring my tablet with me and you did, I'm borrowing it"
Bulma hummed. She wondered what she was drawing. She had stepped back into the bathroom to get changed. She noted that Sarada did not want to look at her, which was funny.
"What are you drawing? "Bulma asked as she climbed onto her bed and placed herself next to the focused saiyan.
"Dragon balls and dragons"
"Why? "
"Because I want to make my own set with my own design and everything " Sarada explained.
Bulma hummed as she rested her chin on Sarada's shoulder as she eyed her digital drawings.
"You can make your own dragon balls? "
"If I'm taught, yes"
"Have you been taught? "
"Not yet. I'll be taught when I return home"
"Who's teaching you? "
"The creator of the dragon balls. His name is Kami"
"His name is God? "
"Yeah, don't ask me about it"
"Why is that his name? "
"He watches over earth. He's the guardian"
"How'd you find him? "
"I knew of him"
"Who told you? "
Sarada glanced at the curious Bulma. She smiled. It's been a while since Bulma asked her so many questions. She never thought she would miss it.
"No one"
"Then how did you know? "
"I just know a lot"
"How do you know so much? "
"It's complicated "
"Tell me"
"It's complicated "
Bulma sighed. She was quiet for a moment again. "Tell me"
"Bulma"
"Sarada"
"Some other time"
"Don't be like that. You brought it up"
"I never brought it up. You asked me questions and I answered"
"But now I'm curious"
"Curiosity killed the cat"
"Fine, don't tell me how you knew, why did you look for him? "
"I Wasn't looking for him. I was in search of the one who lived right down stairs"
"Who is this person? "
"A very wise cat who plants the magical beans"
"A cat plants the beans? "
"Yes. He has an entire pot filled to the brim with them and I asked him for a couple to use and plant "
"You planted some? "
"In the back yard. They might be growing for a full year. That's the thing I don't like about them. I'll try to somehow speed up the process"
"Okay" Bulma was silent as she watched Sarada start a new drawing. Red dragon balls with orange stars.
"Why do you want to make your own dragon balls? "
"Because I have been named the new guardian of earth and I wish to create dragon balls. They rely on the strenght of their creator and I am far stronger than Kami. My dragon balls would be capable of granting stronger wishes. Plus I plan on making them grant five wishes "
"You're the guardian of the earth? "
Sarada chuckled. Bulma was clearly shocked and she was happy the girl did not exclaim in her ear. She still had her chin on her shoulder after all.
"Yes, I have the requirements "
"What are the requirements "
"A pure heart is one of and the most important requirement.The ability to see and sense events around the world, to travel to and guide souls to Other World, and to be a general protector of the people. They also are long-lived, though not immortal" Sarada listed down what she did know of the guardians. It is one thing she knew for sure. "In all honesty a guardian just needs to be pure of heart and strong enough to protect the people, so even you or Kakarot could be the guardians"
"Why did you just decide to accept such a job?
"Why not accept such a job? I don't see a problem with it"
"Do as you wish" Bulma shrugged. "You never told me why we are headed to Namek"
"Namekians are known for creating wish granting orbs, the dragon balls as we know them. I want to bring my father back to life and I'm not sure the ones we have can grant me my wish. I do know for a fact that the ones on Namek are stronger and can grant three wishes. So I can get my wish granted there. "
Bulma sighed. Of course. Did Sarada not think such a thing was important to know?
"You should start telling me what you're up to more often"
"What's the fun in that? "
"You're not very funny"
"I see" Sarada went back to her drawing and said nothing more.
"How do you know so much"
"It's complicated "
"Damn it Sarada, will you ever tell me? "
Sarada nodded, still not looking at the girl. "I will, just not yet "
"You suck"
"But you love me"
"Do you love me? "
"What's with that question? "
"I want to know"
Sarada sighed and glanced at the curious girl. Blue eyes is what she met. Why in the world was Bulma so close to her?
"Yeah, I love you"

This story delves into information about it neth and gets into the neth elf experience a few times in this story. You've been warned. Also note: As much as I didn't want to put it in this story, avoiding it was a futile effort on my part. There were things I needed to explain about Soletus and it's hard to write personal tales about character when avoiding talking about certain personal aspects of them.
