Chapter 757: [Inheritance]
“Lifilia…”
Allen smiled warmly as he stared at her.
“I thought you wouldn’t come?”
He then appeared in front of her and hugs her. Hugging her so tightly within his arms, Allen burrowed his face on her, smelling her lemony-scented hair. Although she had told him that she wasn’t going to interfere in this war—that she’d be here instead was a very pleasant surprise.
And for better or worse, it truly was jarring to see her, to know she’d followed him through. To Allen, this was the greatest surprise as he could finally relieve his worries that in her heart, there was no existence of a father like him.
Of course, even if she does feels that. Allen has no way of saying anything as he understands that it was also his own fault that things turned out this way.
He had never been there for her when she needed him. How can he ask for the same?
But now… seeing that Lifilia still came here filled his heart with warmth and gentleness. Just by seeing Lilith here, he already realized that Lifilia must have forced her mother to help him as well.
He knows that Lilith would never break her own neutral position even if it’s for him. Not that he wasn’t important to her, but she too has her own troubles and issues needed to deal with. However, forsaking all of those, she comes here, risking everything…!
“Thank you,”
Lifilia touched a finger to the cleft of Allen’s upper lip.
“It’s nothing…”
Then, suddenly as Allen was about to respond, his mind goes blank.
Reddish lips reminiscent of a blooming rosebud were pressed against his own.
Her lips shined like glistening sweets as they covered the entirety of his own lips.
(H…Huh?)
Allen was utterly confused when he felt something wet around his lips. Then, as he was confused, her supposed-to-be daughter used that opportunity to squeeze his lips shut.
“Hee hee❤”
Lifilia’s beautiful looks grew sweetly flushed and she let out a warm breath. It was a kiss that only lasts for a few seconds, but for Allen, it strangely felt a long time.
“Why did you—?”
Allen look bewildered and the atmosphere around the Throne Hall seemed awfully quiet.
Even Lucifer and Vergil only stared at the scene with a solemn expression—though both had a ‘I have seen it from a hundred miles away’ but still, knowing about the pair’s relationship, it still a strange event.
“T-Thanks for that, Father❤”
Lifilia pressed her knees together and fidgeted with a delighted and charming smile on her face.
Allen nearly found her cuter than any girl he had ever seen, so he lost his chance to get angry. He could only swallow his complaints. He had a habit of swallowing when he closed his mouth and he only realized afterward that he had swallowed her daughter’s saliva as well.

“Why did you—” …do that? Is what he wanted to ask but suddenly, at this moment, Lifilia’s body glowed brightly and her aura seemed to have exploded from within.
Transformation descended immediately.
A violent array of magic power, enough to sear the eyes, burst from Lifilia’s body.
These were no demonic energy, but magic power wrapped in physical light.
Lifilia opened her eyes and with a sweet smile stared at him.
Staggeringly active magic power coursed around her.
It’s as if the saying; the conqueror has come, armored by the storms and commanding lightning. Her aura burst forth like a tidal wave, that this even somewhat agitated Lucifer and Vergil, causing the two of them to squint their eyes in shock.
Although that violent array of light retracted, the voluminous magic power still swirled calmly around her.
“Inheritance… it’s the first time I saw it,”
Vergil muttered.
“Well, a privilege of the Children of Lilith… I have seen some but not as grand as this,” Lucifer nodded admiringly.
“Ahm, am I the only one who didn’t understand what’s going on?”
Allen turned towards Lilith who was smiling mischievously at his side.
“Nothing…it’s the Inheritance. My daughters have the power to receive an inheritance from their father, increasing their strength in a short time…it’s also some sort of claiming of their fatherhood. To help you, Lifilia’s power is not enough, so she did what she needed to do,”
“…using a kiss…?”
Lilith laughed in amusement from seeing his dumbfounded appearance. It’s as if she had already expected this, and wanted to see his reaction. And now she got it. It pleased her greatly. And also, somehow made this trip worth it.
“That’s normal…”
It was not a surprise attack like what Lifilia had done to him, but their lips pressed together in an instant. She forced her tongue into his mouth without a care for their surroundings. Allen groaned in protest since this is not the time and place for it, but Lilith’s tongue entwined with his which became confused by the invasion.
Her movements are vivid, and Allen seemed to have begun to lose his head.
She nipped, sucked, and licked his lips and mouth mixing their saliva. And before he knew it, he fell into the passive position.
This was unlike any kiss he has ever experienced. He was being thoroughly kissed so much so that Allen began to grow aroused. Allen knows that there was an erogenous zone in the mouth and he felt the veracity of that statement right now.
“Okay, that’s enough, Mom!”
Fortunately, or unfortunate, Lifilia who felt annoyed immediately pulled Lilith away.
“Ehh, meanie~~”
Lilith pouted playfully.

“This is your father and mother's long-awaited moving reunion. How can you interfere, what a cruel child.”
“Behave yourself, mom. This is neither the time nor place for it!” Lifilia glared at her. Then, she turned towards Allen whose face flushed beet red. The dominating position was actually taken away from him…how shameful!
Jeez, the Ancient Demon of Lust is truly… not an undeserved title…!
“Are you okay, dad? I know mom’s power cannot be evaded even if it’s you…”
Lifilia had one of the best faces for concern Allen had ever seen—her eyebrows hurried together, her lips vanished straight into her mouth—but he wondered how she had any emotion left to spare. The daughter of Lilith, that incomprehensible demoness Lilith.
I guess, she managed to inherit some of my appealing traits, Allen smugly thinks inwardly. He then nodded his head.
“Are you saying I don’t have any appealing traits?”
Lilith suddenly burst out in anger as if reading his mind.
“Can you please stop reading my mind…!”
“I did not, more like you’re just too easy to read!” Lilith snorted in contempt.
“Well, whatever,”
Allen embarrassedly changes the topic after noticing Lucifer and Vergil’s annoyed expression. He sighs and calmed his wildly beating heart down. Ignoring Lilith’s flirtatious gaze, he turned towards Lifilia, “Right, why are you here, Lifilia. You shouldn’t have come,”
Although he was moved by her support. But allowing his beloved daughter to enter this dangerous place is a mistake he would never want or do. Even if it meant his death, going down with his child is something that cannot happen.
Lifilia smiled happily after seeing her father and mother like this. Although they were arguing, it has, for some reason, a taste of true family.
“You had a real suicide thing going on when I last saw you, father. Can’t help but be bothered with it. I hate it when things go the way fate dictates. So, I came…at least, father’s chances of winning will increase by a few percents.”
“Nah, this could be the finale…”
Allen smiled wryly.
“Then, the first and the last bonding, that could be,” Lifilia smiled faintly. Then, her eyes turned crescent, “If you want me and mom settle down, at least you should change things a little. I’m not fond of silver-haired men grow a mustache; it’s peach fuzz. Even with a bit of beard and stubbles, that’s not cool for me. So clean it first, I like it neat and clean. Dark-haired guys, though, that’s my favorite. You should’ve kept it! But it’s okay because now you look like an archangel. In a good way. Not like Gabriel or Michael, those bastards pissed me off last time I saw them!”
Allen couldn’t laugh, and Lifilia tilted her head to look at him seriously. He touched his face, and indeed, there is something spiky and prickly—probably because he was getting older—though his age was still just in the twenties, that was the beginning of becoming a real man. Now, he too started to grow stubbles. But he was just too busy these past few days that he forgot about it—after all, unlike normal, they grow exceptionally slow. And it is hardly noticeable.
Thinking about her comment, Allen felt like sobbing into her hair, but he didn’t. Settle down…she and Lilith, it means one thing to him—they are going to be with him. And he has the urge to cry at this very moment.
He’d been cultivating numbness all day, hanging onto it like a rope after fighting his way down here. If this were three weeks ago, they could have simply cried together. But everything had scabbed over, and now there was this idea of a party on top of everything else, this imperative to be, somehow, okay. Merry.
Even if this would be the last game for him, at least he had a wonderful daughter beside him.
“So, this is what they call a heartwarming family reunion, eh?”
Looking at Allen and Lifilia talk cheerfully, Vergil couldn’t help but mutter in a wry smile.
“You got that right...”
Allen turned at him and grinned. Somewhat proud. ‘See this I have a very wonderful daughter’ kind of proud expression, annoyed not only Lucifer but also Vergil and they have the urge to bash his face into pigface in that instant!
“Hello, uncle. I heard you bashed my dad in countless lifetimes. You owe me big when you killed my dad using my mom,” Lifilia glared at Vergil.
But her lips arched into a faint smile. Although she calls him uncle, she just can’t get angry with him after all, Vergil and Dante are originally one. He can be said to be his half-father.
“One thing to clear about, my dear niece. I didn’t use your mom—Lilith. My brother there, he’s a bit of a scumbag womanizer and Lilith had just a bit enough of him… coincidences gathered, purpose crossed… we hit it off, Dante the sole culprit…”
Vergil chuckled in amusement.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
