Chapter 752: [War in the Mortal World (3)]
Immediately, the blue waves scanned across the field in the scope, and a few red dots were marked.
The function was rather impeccable, especially in this kind of war as it greatly diminished by being ambushed or sneak attacked. And its killing range can at most reach over four to five miles, especially for those professional snipers. It was really a destructive and deadly weapon!
A true hand of a death god!
No matter who you are, and wherever, if the God of Death wants you dead, you will not live till the next day.
From around her, Ye Shishi could hear the sounds of other snipers making their killing. Some were even competing. However, she seemed to have detached from the world and followed Tang Yu’s every move, focusing on protecting her every moment.
Compared to other snipers, her [City Destroyer] is at the cutting edge of the current technology that only the highest-ranking snipers could compare. As a point of envy for others, Allen had personally created this for her. It was unique and unparalleled compared to its peers. And she always held this with utmost pride.
"Did the monsters return?"
Ye Shishi raised her eyebrows confused.
Within the thick vibrant forest, there several large groups of humanoid monsters and monster beasts alike hiding in secret, seemingly waiting for an opportunity to attack. Most of these monsters were goblins, Orcs, and Trolls. There were even some demonic creatures like ogres holding cubs and battleaxes.
From the scope, Ye Shishi could see a Goblin Mage silently making its chant of magic with its wooden cane.
Ye Shishi put her finger to her ear and said calmly, "Sister Yu, don’t push too far in the forest, there are hostiles waiting in ambush."
“Number?”
A voice replied.
“Close to seventy…”
“I see… point taken. The collection is almost done. We will be retreating slowly, cover our tracks!”
“Affirmative!”
Ye Shishi responded, put her right hand on the rifle again, and positioned her finger on the trigger. The cross sight moved, and she first locked onto the Orc Mage over 300 meters away. The monster did not have the slightest sense that it was someone else's prey. It was busy chanting.
Bang!
The gunshot was faint under the influence of the silencer. The bullet accurately penetrated through the head of the Orc Mage as its skull cracked like a watermelon. Its chanting stopped before it's completed.
”Next…”
She didn't stop her sight on its body as she quickly aimed at the target 2500 meters out. A Spider Javelin! This monster would be troublesome if it leaped into the center of the cleaning platoon.

Because the distance was relatively far, she opened the wind speed calculation device and adjusted the magnification on the scope.
"Wind speed 6 km/hr, distance 2500 meters,"
Ye Shishi murmured as she pulled the trigger again.
The other soldiers, snipers, and machine gunners that were stationed at each tower seemed to have also received the same orders and they point their guns at the locations of large gatherings.
Some monster mages managed to launch an attack but with several defense and support-type superhumans, it was futile. They were then showered with a destructive hand of death-coated bullets creating screams and wails echoing in the entire forest.
… …
Demon World.
"Well, hide and seek…what a tasteless hobby,"
A young man with a beautiful snow-white hair mumbled under his breath as he scanned his surrounding. His right arm glowing in a dangerous bluish-white color as it blazed in flames. His draconic red-eyes narrowed as he walked slowly to his right. A cold chill passing by his neck as the ornaments around him within the corridor made a soft sound.
"Stupid!"
He snarled coldly as a double-barreled revolver materializes with his left hand--Cerberus. He fired at the creature that appeared from the ground behind him—three cold bullets simultaneously and pierced through its body, accompanied by a shrieking wail before exploding.
Ding!
[A harmful substance has been detected! The effects of the skill [Greater Immunity] will be activated and all negative effects will be eliminated. Countdown…3…2…1… Detoxification Complete!]
As Allen walked through the corridor while killing all the monsters and wraith that attacked him without care, suddenly a notification window appeared in front of his vision and his brows furrowed.
What happened? When was I poisoned…?
Allen looks around but apart from the blood that had stained the wall and ornament, there was nothing around him.
All the monsters he had killed, even the ash the Wraiths left behind, and all the ornament from paintings to vases and sculptures, he had taken them all into his Summoning Grimoire without leaving anything behind. These luxuries are magnificent and would only be a waste if left to these demons. It can be considered his loot.
But how was he poisoned?
His eyes narrowed and then the pupils in his eyes rotated in fast speed. When it stopped, the red draconic pupils turned into two inverted triangles within a circle overlapping each other and turning into identical to that of the Star of David.
[Setsurigan] had once again evolved when he had acquired the [Fragment of Akashic Key] turning into [True God’s Eyes].
Allen frowned. When he used his [True God’s Eyes], thick black smoke, slightly similar to an evil miasma surrounded him. It’s as if he was surrounded by thick fog. However, even with his God-level perception, he can’t see them with his naked eyes, and only through the [Ture God’s Eyes] could he clearly see this fog.

A trap…?
He thought. If it was a normal demon, he would have been dead and withered the moment he stepped into this fog but Allen was different. He had a monstrous level of immunity to any form of negative status effects and this kind of toxic trap was not something that could hinder him. Instead, it even refined several of his [Resistance] type skills which were perfect even for him. These skills are always extremely difficult to improve compared to other skills. But now…
"Well, I guess this is what they call, Blessings in disguise."
However, Allen has no time to make use of this invisible poison fog as his time couldn’t be wasted. Hence, he took out a brown guard from his Summoning Grimoire, and with a twirl, it floated in the air, then expanding until it became even bigger than him who was standing under it.
“Suck all of it,” he smiled mischievously.
Following his orders, the enormous guard suddenly shone brightly and trembled, then its mouth started sucking everything, creating a vortex-like black hole.
The powerful vacuum sucks the invisible black fog, clearing the way in front. Allen walks forward with a faint smile of excitement. Indeed, the Demon World is a treasure trove. He can pick up rare and high-quality materials one after another. This poison fog could be a killing machine in a war, much deadlier than any nuclear weapons in the world!
Woooosh.
He suddenly stopped before raising both arms and crossed the two guns in front of his chest.
Claaang!
A spark echoed as a sharp, ugly claw struck the body of Cerberus. The tip of the claws, dripping in a purple liquid where the moment it drips on the ground, a sizzling smoke occurred. The ground melted.
Grrrr—!!
The fucking bitch growled at me, Allen snorted.
It was a humanoid monster that looked like a twin-headed ogre with purple skin and arms like a furry bear, each as thick as two meters in width. The claws looked extremely sharp, covered by toxic poison. But, against his Cerberus, the sharpness was like a paper-knife wanting to pierce a metal wall.
He jumped back, and somersaulted; his right toe struck one of the monster’s chin. Clank! With both muzzle pointing at the monster—Bang! Bang! Bang! sparks occurred as bullets flashed, ripping the air and shooting towards the monster.
The two heads of the monster burst like a watermelon exploding. However, it was not the end. When he landed, he pivoted his foot and his leg swept into a kick. Another monster appeared out of nowhere within the thick poison fog and pounced at him. They probably thought he wouldn’t be able to see them—sadly, they are completely mistaken!
With [True God’s Eyes] nothing can escape his vision!
A human-sized mantis swept towards him from above.
“Kuiiiiiiiii!”
“Annoying!”
With a snort, his body flew across the air. The moment his razor-sharp kick landed on the mantis’s head, its head burst with an unpleasant ‘puk’ sound. It was a refreshing laughable insta-kill.
[Experience rises by 800.]
A familiar game-like text screen momentarily appeared on his retina and disappear. Allen landed on the ground and slightly smiled, then his twin pistols—[Cerberus] pointed in front. Bang! Bang! Bang! series of gunshots echoed in the corridor and the monsters that were rushing towards his direction were showered with bullets that signify instant kill.
The poisonous fog around him has already gotten thinner after being absorbed by the enormous gourd above him.
Another group appeared.
“Kik kik. ”
“Kikikik . ”
Monsters crawled out from almost every direction.
‘Low-level Demons’
Allen sneered in contempt as he saw that most monsters were actually a bug, bird, and lizard-type monsters, including giant Blood Mosquitoes. Their numbers were no less than 40. Though they were considered low level, their danger level, however, was extremely high. And there are also signs of them mutated and evolved. Only Mammon would have a hobby of collecting disgusting monsters like this.
With swift action, he jumped using a pillbug-like corpse as a foothold while clicking his tongue. After snapping the mosquito’s dangerously developed mouth, he swung the right pistol to break its head. Then, his leg sweeps out in a roundhouse kick, hitting three Blood Mosquitoes at the same time.
“Kreeeeeeee!”
Allen, who landed on the ground while grabbing the mouth of the blood mosquito, swung it and bullseye’d the giant flying monster that looked like an ugly hairless vulture that flew at him fiercely.
The blood mosquito was killed by the ugly bird’s beak, and with a series of gunshots, the bird who was struggling to take off the mosquito from its beak was turned into a beehive in an instant.

"...what disgusting welcome..."
Allen groaned in annoyance.
