Time quickly flew by, and three days had passed since Allen had appeared in this realm.

Although there was no clock here or any things that can be used to measure time, there were still night and day in the cycle. Though, Allen guessed that the time here should be different from the physical plane, after all, Hel was not urging him to go back. He doesn’t know how much time difference though; still Allen also doesn’t want to end their time yet.

This kind of thing rarely occurs, hence, Allen was quite reluctant to depart.

During the past few days, Allen and Hel spend time like a couple on a date.

Sometimes, when they are not on a stroll, the two of them were glued to each other all day and reading books. Books coming from Hel. Since they have the same hobbies, which were passing time peacefully, even reading books, one can even say that both of them are kindred spirits.

Despite not saying much or talking to each other, as long as they stay together the world can become a much better place for them. In fact, they both preferred a silent and quiet world.

Sometimes, Hel would start telling Allen about several interesting matters that happened in her world or in ancient times in which Allen had already almost forgotten.

On the other hand, Allen would tell Hell about the interesting matters currently going on in the outside world, about all sorts of modern products, and a few interesting things that had taken place in the world outside of the Spirit Plane or Hel’s World; Helheim—such as the modern advancement of the world.

These past few days were like heaven to him.

The peace, the love, the silence…

Allen savored them like the most precious delicacy in the world.

If only, Mia and the others are here…

Allen smiled wryly.

What Allen wanted was not to become the most powerful God, or fame, or wealth, or anything, only the happiness of his family.

This is the goal he pursued for who knows how long, how many lifetimes.

Simultaneously it is also the source of his power use to strive up until now.

I have ascended to become a God and fought many tribulations—not for power or immortality, only to protect the people he wanted to protect and give them all happiness they all deserved.

“It's fine, you don’t need to say anything. I know you need to go back, settle all the things.” Hel smiled bitterly. She then opened her arms and hug him. Allen, not having any strength anymore due to the sudden dizziness and was only relying on his willpower to stay awake, fell on her bosom.

“Please wait… I will surely break you out of this world after I settle the troubles in the Demon World. When that time comes, we will finally be able to stay together forever!” Allen smiled but his eyes were slowly shaking as if anytime it would suddenly close and he would lose his consciousness.

“I know, and I will always be here waiting for you,” Hel’s eyesight became rather hazy. She rubbed her eyes with her hand and felt them come back wet. I have always been…

Hearing the comforting tone buried in her words, Allen finally let go of the knot in his heart. Smiling, he took her soft hands and held them against his face to feel her warmth. His eyes showed his deep attachment and love.

How fortunate he was to have her.

Hel looked into Allen’s unfathomable eyes and smiled happily.

Although they said no words, they were aware of each other’s feelings.

Hand in hand till death.

Since before, and will still in the future.

At times, it was a simple thing to do, other times; it would never be achieved even in a whole lifetime.

Allen could not help but let his hand stroke her cheeks. Her skin was delicate and poreless and without any flaws; being absorbed in this soft feeling… it made it hard for him to let go, nor did he want to let go.

With both of Hel’s cheeks are in his gentle touch, they felt like a fire that scorched her skin as her face became flushed.

Allen almost couldn’t contain himself as his body undetectably trembled when he hugged her. However, after he did. he suddenly felt his body losing strength and started to become transparent, fading. Hel smiled with tears and hugged Allen back. Despite seeing him slowly turning into tiny shards of light flying towards the heavens, Hel still hugged him tightly; it’s as if she wanted to absorb him into her body.

Too bad… it couldn’t be done.

Allen smiled but he finally couldn’t endure the dizziness anymore and his eyes lids fell down. With that, his body, starting from the foot, then upwards, became thousand small shards of light that flew upwards.

Hel closed her eyes which were now overflowing with tears, but then her hands slowly fell down, passing through Allen’s body.

Allen had now turned into tiny shards of light completely and disappeared.

Hel opened her eyes and looks towards where the shards of lights were flying and muttered softly; “I’m waiting… I will always be…”

No matter how much time passed.

No matter how many lifetimes it would take…

I will always wait for you to come and find me.

“I love you, my beloved hero…”

Like a dazzling rainbow through the rain, Hel smiled amidst tears.

Allen opened his eyes, ending the long sorrowful but at the same time, very happy dream.

After opening his eyes, he noticed that he was lying on a soft bed. Golden willow branches cascaded down like a waterfall, blocking the clear sky. There was a faint fragrance in the fresh air around him.

His right hand was leaning on something soft.

Allen was slightly surprised as he looked to his side. There, he saw a black-haired girl holding his right hand, adhering tightly to his right side. She was fast asleep with her eyes closed.

The beautiful black-haired girl was none other than Asmodeus. At this moment, Asmodeus had returned to her female appearance. She was dressed in a black gothic dress and her demonic features such as horns, wings and tails are nowhere to be seen. Her delicate appearance was one of that of humanity.

She must have suffered for him…

Allen sighs as he stared at Asmodeus who was slightly frowning in sleep. Activating his [Eye Powers] Allen worriedly checks Asmodeus body and finally heaves a sigh of relief. It seems like she was not injured in any way.

What had happened…?

Allen had a vague impression. Besides that, he seems to have a very good dream but for some unknown reason, he couldn’t recall what it was.

Did someone temper his mind?

With his current level, no one should be able to mess with his mind. And even if there was, he should be able to notice it.

Allen had a sudden guess causing his gaze to soften. However, it was just a conjecture. After all, this was not the first time. He had dreams before which he still cannot remember nor recall.

Allen smiled wryly.

Allen gently moved his right hand, trying to retract his right hand from the soft embrace. However, at this moment, Asmodeus suddenly stirred and opened her eyes.

“You are awake!”

Asmodeus smiled in delight. This was because Allen’s appearance had returned to normal and she can even feel the love and affection he was emitting for her. To this, Asmodeus can only sigh in relief…she was really worried this time.

Allen nodded and asked, “Where is this place? What happened?”

Allen only remembered himself fighting a large number of demons and then slowly ‘anger’ surges through every part of his body, wanting to obliterate everything in existence. After that, he gradually lost his consciousness and had a long dream.

His mood was still heavy, but he did not know what happened after that.

“This is the Valley of Everlasting Love, just closer to the Imperial Capital. Here, although there were many demonic beasts, they are harmless and posed no threat so it is fine to stay here and rest…Nothing happened after you had fallen unconscious.” Asmodeus responded with a faint smile.

It was best if Allen had forgotten what he had done in his rage, therefore she did not mention it.

However, Asmodeus suddenly thought of something and tsked, pretending to be angry, “But Master, can you not be so reckless? Didn’t I tell you that every season change corresponds to the corruption of sin?! Although normally with your power, you can just ignore it, if your emotions run wild, the corruption would become even stronger!”

Upon hearing this, Allen said with a laugh, “What’s there to worry? It’s just a corruptive power and it’s nothing that can do a thing to me. Look, aren’t I just fine? It might affect me but it will just pass by like a fleeting cloud!”

Asmodeus rolled her eyes. That was entirely not the case! However, she could not tell her beloved master that he had nearly been devoured by the corruptive power!

If not for experiencing the endless brutal massacre to vent his anger, Allen could have completely lost all reason and become a true Devil who kills without mercy like the cold and cruel Vergil a long time ago…!

But thankfully, after killing the army of demons and venting his anger, Allen’s rage came to an end. He had temporarily been restored to his original appearance.

Asmodeus whispered, “In the future, you have to pay attention to controlling your emotions. When you encounter something angry, remember to take deep breaths to calm yourself. Do not be angry. “Control your emotions well in this world, master…” Asmodeus’s tone was dyed with worry.

“Don’t be afraid.” Allen raised his hand to her burning cheeks. With it, he traced from her eyebrow to her nose, until his index finger reached her soft lips. “…I’ll keep that in mind in the future…” Then, instead of his finger, Allen used his hot lips as he gently sucked on hers.

Asmodeus smiled bitterly as she was certain, Allen didn’t think too much about her worries. With a thin silver thread of saliva connecting them, Allen smiled at her and slowly sat upright. He then extended his hand and gently stroke Asmodeus hair. “Thank you,”

“There’s no need for thanks between us, master…” Asmodeus smiled wryly. She then moved a bit and coiled her arms around Allen, then placing her head on Allen’s lap.

Allen chuckled and let Asmodeus have her way. He continued stroking her hair gently.

Time passed by but the two people didn’t care a thing about it.
