Chapter 715: [War (2)]

By the time Mia and the others arrived at “Arcadia Restaurant” it was already 6:10.

Lieri parks the car at the side of the large building; the extremely famous; [Arcadia Restaurant].

It was a peak five mic**lin star level restaurant, with extremely delicious cuisine made from rare and unique monsters.

Only the influential and powerful can visit this place due to its class and astronomical prices.

In the passenger seat beside her, Mia has already unbuckled her seatbelt immediately upon parking. She picked up Rasha and then opens the door in one smooth movement.

From the back seat, Allen’s mother; Aemie Villaflores, and Ciel came out as well, their expression full of smiles.

They chuckled and giggled so happily as they chat about nonsensical kinds of stuff, though mostly the latter boasting and bragging about her time in diving dungeons and conquering it.

“Let’s go,”

With a beautiful smile, Mia hugged Rasha and, led by Lieri, they entered the [Arcadia restaurant].

The reserved table is in the chamber on the second floor.

Lieri had gone to check it out beforehand, after all, this is a rare family gathering and so everything must be properly organized. And the layout of that private room was really nice, so that is why she chose it.

There is a windowsill, and out of the windowsill lies the restaurant’s mini-garden with a large man-made lake, reflecting the bright red moon, and giving beautiful scenery.

With the view from their table, they can have a panoramic view of the entire garden below. If they open the window, they can even have a sniff of the garden flowers’ fragrance.

It was a wonderful place!

The group was led to the second level by the restaurant’s attendant. They then turn a corner to go upstairs but still haven't reached the private room. They only saw that there were a few people surrounding the doorway, appearing to say something.

“This room is fine, even though it’s a bit small, but the ambiance isn’t too bad… Let’s take it. I don’t want the other room anymore, let’s change it.”

Liere only heard these words at the doorway, causing her heart to have a bad premonition.

They still haven’t even entered yet, as another flattering voice went ahead to agree, “If Lady Roulan likes this room I will immediately change it for you. You guys go notify the kitchen, the dishes for Sir Liger will be sent to this room instead.”

“Yes, manager.”

The waiters in the room responded, accepting the order.

Lieri frowns, as she enters she sees a waitress come out.

“Wait,” she calls out, keeping her from leaving.

She turns and enters the private room and sees the back of a 40 year-old man, standing by the windowsill.

[Arcadia Restaurant]’s manager stands at the side and smiles apologetically. In the room, there was also a gentle-looking couple. A stoutly-looking married woman sits separately in the host’s seat. Everyone sees Lieri with a cold expression entering and looks at her with surprise, not comprehending what she is doing here. Lieri looks at everyone, then turns to the Manager who stood at the side, and says, “Manager, I have already booked this private room a few days in advance.”

The Manager of [Arcadia Restaurant]; Manage Mean looks at Lieri in shock, and turns to look at the waiter standing behind Lieri, his expression inquisitive, verifying whether or not Lieri was telling the truth.

The waiter hesitantly nods his head, answering, “Yes, that’s right. Ms. Del Con has already scheduled for this room a week in advance, for 6:30.”

Manager Mean nods his head in understanding, turns to smile at Lier, and says, “I’m really sorry, Ms. Del Con, this is a result of our restaurant’s negligence. I had thought that this room was available, so I already agreed to Sir Liger. Would this be alright instead, I will immediately arrange another room for Ms. Del Con, and the dishes for tonight will all be discounted.”

Lieri’s expression turned even colder.

“It’s my lady’s family gathering today. And Milady really likes flowers, so I booked this room in advance because of the garden view from the windowsill. So I’m not thinking of changing it.”

“This….”

Manager Mean is in a bind. It is reasonable to say that this Lieri has grounds not to change the room, after all, they had already reserved it a week in advance, but this Sir Liger is the Leader of the Thousand Graveyard Guild, one of the strongest and influential Guilds in Italica, thus, also cannot afford to offend them!

“…How about this. We also do not wish to trouble Manager Mean. We will cover all of your dining expenses this evening. Would you be able to give us this room?” asks the man who had been standing at the side.

I would make an apology letter so please give up and change rooms, instead.”

“Why is this woman so difficult, today’s meal is to give my mother a welcome home meal. My mother also likes flowers, what’s the big deal if you just give it up. We already said that we will cover all of your meal expenses, what else do you want?”

Another woman from the side says in disdain. Not waiting for Lieri to open her mouth, she rushes to stand in front of manager Mean and says, “Manager Mean, we want this room. As for whatever she wants, you can do whatever you see fits. Also, the dishes that I just ordered, it’s already been about 10 minutes.”

“Is that so…?”

Before Lieri could respond in anger, an icy cold voice rang out and a figure fluttered inside the room.

“Do you want ME to give up…is that what you wanted?”

“…?!!”

The room’s temperature fell and the woman who was showing her disdain suddenly fell on the ground, gasping for breath.

“Roulan!!”

Liger hurriedly rushed over but when he turned towards Mia who had just appeared, his tracks stopped.

“La, lady Bianchi?!”

He cried out in horror.

The entire room once again quieted down and all the people including Manager Mean paled in shock.

Who didn’t know about the Bianchi family?

The Overlord of Italica and one of the Ten Emperors in the Mortal World; The War Princess…!

“Lady Bianchi, we didn’t know you are the one who reserved this room, please forgive!”

Liger screamed as he fell on the ground kneeling. Although he can barely bear the pressure, the people behind him however cannot, especially his daughter was already ghastly white, suffocating!

“Lady Bianchi, e, even with the status as yours, fighting inside the restaurant is fo, forbidden!”

Manager Mean gritted his teeth to endure and said, warningly.

“Ho? You want to warn me?”

Mia grinned.

“That’s not what I…”

Mia snorted and the pressure disappeared, causing the manager to heave a sigh of relief. Then, she took her phone from her pocket and called, “…it’s me…that’s right, I’m already here, however, we got a bit of a problem. That’s right…okay,”

Mia turned towards the Manager and suddenly throw the phone towards him.

“Take it,” she muttered.

“H, hello? O, Owner…?!”

The Manager cried out in horror, “Wa, wait Owner, this is, this is just a Misunderstanding…! No, I wasn’t, wait Owner please forgive…”

“tot tot tot tot!”

The Manager’s expression paled as his body fell down the ground, lifeless and trembling.

Mia snorted and turned towards the waiter who was shivering behind them, “Lead us to Moon Pavilion,” she muttered.

“Y, yess…!”

The waiter hurriedly nodded.

“Wa, wait Lady Bianchi,”

Liger, with a pale and desperate expression, hurriedly called out to Mia who was walking away.

“I am humbled by Lady Bianchi’s appearance. I have pampered my little girl recklessly, making her spoiled. This room was originally reserved for lady Bianchi, of course, we have no grounds to take it by force. We’ll just take that room from before, no need to change. Also, bill this room’s dining expenses to my account.”

“No need,”

Mia’s narrowed.

“But, Lady Bianchi…”

“I said No need,”

Mia frowned and Liger felt his body shivered, like a frog being eyed by a snake.

He took a step backward.

“M, My Lady, you, your phone…” the Manager bit his lips in fear, handing back Mia’s phone. He knows that he had messed up big tonight and tried to patch it up but, “Throw it away,”

Without even turning her back, Mia left coolly, leaving the despaired manager.

The Moon Pavilion is situated beside [Arcadia Restaurant]’s garden.

The interior of the room was not extraordinarily large, but the decoration was extremely warm.

The front door has a large French window made of glass.

Spilling vivid color into these monochromatic-toned rooms were romantic, lyrical paintings by such noted artists such as Thomas Cole, Francesco Hayez, and many more—and even large crystal urns overflowing with a great abundance of exotic and rare magical flowers that gives calming and comforting effects.

Even in the middle of the chilling winter, the room was quite warm.

Most of all, none of the rooms were so imposing or so grand that guests or children were intimidated and felt they were in a museum. On the contrary, it was designed to be lived in and enjoyed, and it had an easy grace that was all it's own.

From inside the room, there was no need to go outside, as one could directly see the scene from the window.

The side of the French window has a small door, also made with transparent glass. Opening the door was a bypath made of a bed of pebbles with varying colors and each side lined up with blooming rare moonflowers, the vines harnessed on top.

The environment around the small thatch was planted with all kinds of beautiful flowers, the air was completely diffused with the scent of flowers, despite it being winter and the land covered in white. The sweet scent assailed the nostrils.

The small lantern brightly shines in the garden at this moment. Rummaging through this scenery is even more of a special smell.

Mia liked the room immediately upon stepping into it.

Comparing it to the other room is simply as different as sky and earth; she can’t explain how much better it is.

When Mia gave her parents and the others a call, Lady Xia Yi and her father Jira Bianchi was already at the gate along with her brothers and other relatives. Mia then went out to receive them personally. When they entered the room, Lady Xia Yi also fell in love with the room, at first sight, saying that even when closing one’s eyes one can still smell the fragrance of the flowers.

It's terrific.

“As expected of Eliade’s style, this is a beautiful room,”

“So Mother already knows who this restaurant was?”

Mia asked, curious.

Xia Yi chuckled, “Actually, Ava came to me to arrange the location for a good business, and I told them this would be a good place. And so, you can say I’m also a part of managing this restaurant…”

“Ho? So Lady Eliade started this kind of business?” Jira asked, unaware.

Mia nodded her head.

“Well, Eliade wanted the Garden to integrate into Society and learn some human customs as part of their research…”

"Research, huh..."

“But why did we only visit today? If I’m not wrong, the Arcadia had been opened for a month, right?”

“Well, every one of us is busy doing many things, and flying in different places, so we couldn’t allocate a good time for us to gather…”

Mia smiled faintly as she played with Rasha on her lap. Besides, the most important person was nowhere to be found. How could they have a merry time while worrying about that ungrateful bastard who likes diving into dangerous adventures all on his own...?

Mia sigh inwardly.

She's certainly going to tie that idiot and locked him up so that he couldn't run around freely anymore, once all of these things settled down.

And I sure bet, the others would be ecstatic by that idea!

“Oh right, what about Allen…?”

Aemie asked as she picked up the giggling Rasha from Mia.

Mia smiled wryly, “That guy would arrive a bit later. Princess Shaharnaz had dragged him towards Abbar Dastan, there seemed to be some monster uprising occurring there or something.”

“But don’t you think they can easily deal with whatever monster there is?”

Mia shrugs, “Well, if I’m not wrong, then, that is only an excuse…” she chuckled in amusement.

When Lieri had arrived, Mia was accompanying Aemie and the others in showing around the garden.

The three were laughing and talking, the scene was especially warm and beautiful.

Eliade, Ava, Ye Yuecheng, and Ye Shishi arrived and entered the room, joining the conversation.

“Mommy!!”

Ciel called out to Eliade and leap into her bosom.

“You’re already a big girl, so learn to act like an elegant lady,”

Eliade smiled wryly as she stroke Ciel’s head gently.

“Eh? Papa said Ciel is already an elegant beautiful girl.”

“Oh? Did he say that?”

“Un!”

Ciel nodded happily.

“Well? Where is your papa then?”

“…he went to Abbar Dastan for a bit,”

Mia replied as she walked over and kissed Eliade’s cheek as a greeting, then Ava.

“I’m glad you can make it,”

“Well, it’s been a long time since I had seen my stupid husband, so of course, I'm here,”

Ava replied with a shrug.

"In fact, if you just told me earlier, I would have come running!"

For additional information, Ava’s curse was actually already lifted up.

Although Athena could do it, Allen had lifted it up himself, using the power and abilities he had obtained from Athena herself as well as those from her old temple.

With their help as well as his own powers, lifting the bloodline curse of Ava that was caused by the Goddess herself, was an easy matter, since Ava was just a descendant and not the first Medusa.

The Curse was not as potent as the first progenitor.

Now, she has a perfect human body, though she can transform into her Medusa appearance, right now, she had gotten used to her human body, walking in two legs. Because of this, she managed to find her family, her clan, and reconciled—well, not like they have any options as seeing Allen was already a living God.

Even if they disagreed with her extremely weird obsession towards a man, they could only nod their head with wry faces.

Going against a God... the consequence, they had already learned that first hand by the sacrifice of their ancestor.

In additional information, now that the curse was lifted as well, Ava’s Medusa Clan came over and integrated into the Bianchi Family along with the Gorgon Clans, turning into one of the greatest forces of the Clan. But that's for the Side-Story.

The Moon Pavilion where the Bianchi family was staying became extremely lively. The entire family laughing and chatting with each other, while the children happily play around. Mia and the others talk about various things, especially about the Celestial Realm and Allen’s situation. Although, Mia decided to avoid talking about worrying stuff and just said about hers and Allen's adventure in Romeia's Dungeon, as well as some simple things Allen had told her before about his adventure in the Celestial Realm. She didn’t even mention the ongoing war as it would only worry the elders.

As the family was talking happily, at this time, there was a knock on the door.

Aileen and Flor suddenly appeared in the room, “Lady Mia, a report just came in. There’s a large wave of magical beasts heading out from the forests toward Italica.”

"... ..."

Mia frowned and the atmosphere turned solemn.

“..also, from the other branches of the other parts of the world, there’s also a high rise in a number of beasts and monsters suddenly appearing!”
