Chapter 710: [Cerberus (3)]
"DANTEEE!!!!"
The Cerberus remaining eyes were bloodshot as it searches for the accursed enemy that took one of its left eyes.
It lost interest in everything else, the only thing that matters is the black figure he last saw with its left head’s left eye.
“Did you like that Cerberus? Though, if you keep calling my name that passionately, even I would blush!”
A ferocious smile appears on Allen’s face as he watched the furious giant three-headed beast.
His surprise attack yield results beyond his expectation. But the wounded and bloodied giant beast harbors even stronger killing intent and charge at him with reckless abandon.
With majesty comparable to mountains, it closes in with murderous intent and power that twist the very scenery.
Even though the scene before him is enough to scare off veteran warriors of heavens, Allen only felt intense joy.
"Come at me, come at me, come on, come on! Let’s dance till the music stops, Cerberus! The music of your beating heart!!"
Allen laughed in a deranged manner as he dodged the claws and fireballs lunging at him.
Allen easily dodged the Cerberus attacks.
“ROOOOOAAAAAARRRRR!!!!”
Bang! Bang! Bang!!
When Allen shot back, the Cerberus moved as swiftly as a ghost. The monster dog's speed was on par with Allen’s Lightning Speed or if he would have to admit it, the Cerberus was probably even better than he was, if that is he would only rely on his Lightning Speed.
The few shots he fired did not even graze his fur.
Both of their attacks were fired lightning-fast and yet both still couldn’t deliver a clean hit.
Man and Beast.
None of them were willing to retreat and within a few seconds, their attacks became more intense. Allen also used this opportunity to train himself until he had his moving reunion with his prodigal brother. He seemed happy despite the thrilling situation.
A grin formed on his fair face and his short hair danced wildly in the wind. He was so graceful even when he dodged the monster beast’s attacks. His skill light and full of elegance with his every turn, as if he was floating in the wind—his [Phantom] works superbly against the beast who was driven by instinct.
Both of them continued to attack each other at a distance of around 100 meters or less and yet none of them were hit by their opponent's attack.
The people in the surrounding who watched were amazed at their movement speed and at the ongoing intense battle.
However, no one dared to step closer.
Running through the pile of wreckage, the three-headed dog; Cerberus made a creaking sound. Catching Allen with his ruby-red eyes, he spread his wings and ascended to the skies.
"—AWWWOOOOOOOOHHHHHH!!!!!!"
The cry even repelled back the approaching lava wave.
With an angry roar, the Cerberus launched attacks on a massive scale, fireballs, fire lance, rock spikes, fury shockwave, poison fog and hails of magical arrows shot out from all directions. But Allen manipulated the atmosphere around them and flicked off the indiscriminate attacks with walls of air that were compressed to the extent that even the plasma was visible.
“Angry? Your ugly dog face is getting even uglier, Cerberus?”
Allen bared his fangs to reveal a crescent mouth, bursting in laughter. He continued to make his provocation, enraging the Cerberus even more as he then bend slightly and runs at the Cerberus while kicking up dirt and dust with each step. He closes the gap in an instant.

The moment before impact, Allen disappears from the vision of his enemy.
The furious Cerberus who had its reason turned half from anger was too late to react, charging at Allen’s old position.
Woosh.
Allen jumped a second before they collide, kicked off the Cerberus uneven thick hide, and jump over it. For the enraged Cerberus that was now relying on instinct, catching the agile Allen is mission impossible.
Allen somersaulted in midair deftly as he laughed.
"Mutt! Why don’t you continue your sleep and eat just like a pig? A useless mutt only good for being a dog!"
Allen taunted nonsensically with heightened emotions, bending his knees smoothly to lessen the landing impact and pointed the Rebellion parallel to the ground, he then shot towards the exposed side of the giant beast like a cannonball.
"ROOOOAAAARRR!!!"
“…Then, why not take a bow, Cerberus. Let's start there!"
Allen uses his running momentum and stabs with terrifying accuracy at the back of the kneecaps, aiming for the gap between the dragon scale-like shells on the beast’s limbs.
This attack hit the muscles behind the shell, but it felt tougher than imagined.
Allen noticed it and pulls out the sword, retreating from the Cerberus, his face remained its beaming smile. Although he had failed to hit a critical strike, Allen could see the Cerberus leg trembling. It must have hurt—after all, this is his beloved Rebellion!
Even if he wouldn’t be able to cut his opponent, just being hit by hit would make your stomach roll—being named Rebellion was not just for show.
Rebellion’s innate ability—is to rebel!
Rebel against any kind of power!
It’s a sword only a true Monarch wields.
If it possesses defense, then that defense will be used as an advantage—to rebel to the enemy!
Going against all odds—that’s what Rebellion truly was!
As Allen was exchanging attacks with the Cerberus, finally, the signal to end the battle came upon him—
[[Hell Empowerment] [Pyrokinesis] [Supernatural Bite] [Multiple Head] [Feral Instinct] [Supernatural Smell] [Venomous Fangs] [Stealth Tactics] [Weapon Immunity] [Temperature Regulation] [Supernatural Durability] [Hell-Fire Generation] and [Penance Stare] abilities of Cerberus has been properly analyzed. Does Host want to absorb these abilities…?]
“Absorb it…!”
Allen responded without hesitation.
[Preparing for Absorption… —[Hell Empowerment] [Pyrokinesis] [Supernatural Bite] [Multiple Head] [Feral Instinct] [Supernatural Smell] [Venomous Fangs] [Stealth Tactics] [Weapon Immunity] [Temperature Regulation] [Supernatural Durability] [Hell-Fire Generation] and [Penance Stare] was being absorbed… 23% till completion…]
Allen swung Rebellion and parried the incoming claws and then flipped mid-air, sending a roundhouse kick towards the Cerberus right head—the blow sent a tremendous impact that Cerberus felt his head full of stars, its large body staggered.
“Cerberus… you’ve made a mistake, fighting against me!”
He grinned and a large firebird materializes behind him,
“Cryaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!”
A piercing cry of a bird echoed in the area and the firebird shot towards the Cerberus—
BOoooooOOOm!!
“Aaaaaaaawwwwww—!!!”
Blazing in flames, the Cerberus was blasted away, crashing into several broken debris and magma pools.
But it has not ended yet.
Allen spread his arms wide and a column of blazing flames rose up in the air.
The thick column flames shot out as if to pierce the sky.
Crackle!
Boooom!
Shikirricccch!!
When the flames reached the high heavens, the thunderous clouds seemed to have ignited and become even more terrifying in sounds and presence.
BOOOoooOOm!!
A large lightning bolt struck the Cerberus position from the heavens, and it was not any ordinary lightning bolt as it was an almost five-meter wide column of blazing flames covered by thick lightning bolts, further enhancing its destructive power.

“DANTEEEEE!!!”
The Cerberus roared, its body burrowed on the ground, burned, numb, and full of wounds.
Undoubtedly, Allen’s last attack caused not-so-little damage on him.
Cerberus never expected Dante’s current power to be this powerful. Its mind blank out—
The Cerberus struggled to stand up and despite the grave wounds in his body and the excruciating pain, Cerberus raise his messed up body, not wanting to admit defeat. He ran in a straight line heading for the volcano peak.
Needed to create a distance!
The Cerberus thought as such as he pulled the distance away from the abomination before him. This was the best strategy to win. But the monster he couldn’t understand just gave a sly smile and snorted.
—Tearing him, Allen raised his right hand and ordered.
In a moment, an unbearable pain came from behind the Cerberus.
It was a feeling as if a sharp knife slashed him from his back.
He felt his defenses slowly being eroded.
"Gaa......!?"
What had happened, it was definitely not a cognitive blow.
Looking back, Allen was still in the air, seemingly unmoved, holding his black colored sword. A considerate distance away from the Cerberus who was sprinting towards the volcano peak. If it was the sword slash from before, there should've been traces of it on the ground, but there were none.
And the injury behind was not shallow.
Even the battle-weary Cerberus could not help but keel over, sweating profusely while staring at the youth who was smiling nonchalantly.
The Cerberus trembled.
The Cerberus feared!
How is this possible…?!
Why am I losing?!
Dante whose power has already been taken almost all by Vergil should not have this kind of power!
What is happening…?!
Why is Dante so strong?!!
Allen looks down on the Cerberus who was struggling to run away like an ant.
His smile turned even more vicious—
Cerberus lost!
The Giant Dog had already lost even before the conclusion of the battle had been reached.
The poor dog was overwhelmed by him—
...too bad—like humans, even beasts couldn’t be able to help but fear the unknown!
And when you did… It signifies one’s defeat!
One of the battles that Demons have, is the battle of fear.
Once you're dominated by your opponent's aura and pressure, your death is already inevitable!
Allen smiled and showed his sharp canines that could be mistaken as that of a Vampire while looking down at the pitiful dog that had already running through its last moment.
The Cerberus raised his three heads, only to meet Allen’s stare, the latter’s expression having a mocking smile.
“DANTE, YOU DAMN!!!!!”
Suspended in the air Allen, his black figure surrounded with blinding scarlet-colored lightning, like red snakes playing around him.
“It’s time to end this, Cerberus!”
Allen felt his feelings soar in his chest and raised his right hand up high.
To draw out the power from himself, this was the best posture.
“It’s fine, Cerberus, you are an Immortal, are you not…? Just sleep obediently for a thousand centuries!”
“AAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhh!!!!”
"Take this……Cerberus!"
Following the voice of Allen, strong divine energy was released from him. At that moment, a beam of lightning appeared from Allen’s hand that tore through the Heavens and the Earth.
It was a spear—
A Golden Spear made up of lightning.
Sensing that this power was the same one he felt from a long time ago, the Three-Headed Beast; Cerberus revealed his fangs and mumbled.
“A God’s…spear…?! Longinus?!!”
Spear of Longinus, also known as the Holy Spear of the Setting Sun or the Spear of Destiny—was the spear that had pierces the side of the Son of God during his crucifixion, and thus killing him.
Because of this, the spear was given a Divine Aspect, of Killing a Divine—meaning it holds the power capable of killing Gods and Buddhas.
It can also be used to kill Satan and Devils due to its holy abilities as a Holy Spear. It can create an energy blade that is made up of powerful pure Holy power that can vaporize an Ultimate-Class Devil with ease—but something like that—an artifact that was in the hands of the True God due to its power that shouldn’t exist…
That cannot be allowed to exist.
Much less, being held by a sinner, even if he was half divine!
The power of the spear will kill the wielder as long as he is a sinner—
So, how?!
"HOE DID YOU HAVE SOMETHING LIKE THAT....DANTEEEEE!?!!!!"
The mournful beast cried out in despair.
“Be thankful for Azazel that you would be able to taste this spear—though, it is a replica its power is the real deal! I can ascertain it.”
Allen grinned upon seeing the horror in the three-headed giant dog’s expression.
“Dante! Do you dare kill me?! I am the guardian of hell!! Without me—”
Watching Allen taking a stance with that spear, the Three-headed Giant Dog; Cerberus raged.
But Allen was still unperturbed—
“And so…?” he replied plainly.
“What’s the use of you being here or not? The Devils and Demons have been rampaging all they like on the surface. What would change with you here or not, Guardian of the Underworld (LOL)? What, don’t tell me you’re going to say, you will change your ways? Don’t fuck with me, Cerberus! You and I knows it would never happen!"
Allen and the replica of the Longinus Spear released divine energy, aimed at the target while discharging lightning.
“My people’s hatred! Be avenged right here!”
The spear containing tens of thousands of wills across the worlds, locked onto the Three-Headed Giant Dog’s heart.
“Pierce him —— Longinus Replica ——!!!”
The WatchDog of Hell; Cerberus trembled, and its whole body shivered from the never seen before vigor.
The spear raced towards the heart in a straight line, reaching the heart without a moment's delay.
No escape, defeat.
Only such philosophy remained in his heart.
“DANTEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!”
With only able to roar in hatred and despair, the Cerberus watched as this beam of light easily pierced through the shell of the world and seemed to be the pillar that was holding up the world that was moving towards imminent destruction.
BOOOOOOOooooOOOOMMMMM!!
An explosion that had shaken the entire world, the Underworld, and even the one above—The Celestial Realm, all shook from that very explosion.
