Chapter 665: [Underground City]
With Allen’s help and support, Si Mulan was like sitting in a rocket. His cultivation and growth were incredibly fast that it had already surpassed any known genius in the Divine Martial Continent. Furthermore, Si Mulan’s cultivation technique was extremely compatible with Allen’s major powers; Ice and Lightning. With Allen’s power to attract and control both energies, Si Mulan’s breakthrough was extremely smooth and impeded without any bits of obstruction. And with Allen’s protection, tribulations are just a light shower rain.
“There’s no need to be impatient. You’re still young. Although, I also felt jealous about it but let’s just say, Si Mulan’s extremely fortunate. Despite all of us possessing almost the same potential, there are also times when geniuses are above other geniuses because of fate.” Bu Fanyi smiled as she comforted Lan Ling ‘er. Then he smiled: “Let’s just hug Mulan’s thigh for now since she was wealthier and had a large backing compared to us~” She then let out a mischievous smile at Si Mulan and laughs.
“He he,” Lan Ling ‘er giggled while Si Mulan pouted in playful displeasure.
“Well, let’s make the others guard first tonight. We need to make use of time and cultivate.”
“Okay!” Lan Ling ‘er and Si Mulan immediately nodded.
Seeing that the situation was like this, Bu Fanyi no longer spoke and closed both her eyes. The Spiritual Energy within her body slowly circulated. In the past two days, she had always attempted to properly integrate her spirit with her body. This is the next realm, materializing the spirit not just in soul form but in true physical form and the integrating with it to become even stronger.
When she had just started, she had still been quite rusty; but she gradually began to form it. Based on her feelings, she felt that she would truly succeed in condensing it after several days. Lan Ling ‘er and Si Mulan watched as Bu Fanyi closed her eyes and started cultivating. They felt moved; after all, just because they have powerful strength right now, it was still not enough. Time is the essence. Every moment is precious. Even if you have obtained enough strong power to be among the top people in the continent, you must not stop promoting yourself and exert more of your effort to further advance.
They glanced at each other and quietly gathered their thoughts, waiting for their hearts to completely calm down. Once they were calm, they closed their eyes and started to rapidly circulate the Energy within their bodies.
… …
At this moment, the sun was high, the earth bright and warm.
Si Mulan and her group appeared and disappeared in and out of the dense forest, surrounded by trees that pierced through the clouds.
It had been nearly a month since they had undergone self-training in the Despair Grieving Mountain. Ever since then, the group had been wandering aimlessly, sipping on tea, taking in the scenery, completely carefree. The forest indeed was filled with countless powerful monsters and demonic beasts, however, against each of their own power as well as magical items they possess, the extremely dangerous trial mountain became nothing but a stroll before them.
Not only that, the group—the disciples of the Passing Cloud Sect as well as Qin Han’s group from the Fire Lotus Buddha Sect —had somehow grown stronger to the point that if they were placed in some other sect, they would surely be nurtured lovingly as geniuses. Their current cultivation realm is now comparable to Holy Sons and Daughters of every Sect. Though, Si Mulan, Bi Fanyi, and Lan Ling ‘er have the highest Cultivation respectively.

In addition, although the Passing Cloud Sect disciples and Qin Han’s group wanted to join the DAWN organization after seeing the benefits and advantages that Si Mulan and the others possess, that even still now they could only drool in jealousy, they were still rejected much to their dismay. Apart from Bu Fanyi who used her connection to enter the group, the others were rejected firmly. Especially the Passing Cloud Sect disciples, which Allen didn’t want to steal from the Sect. After all, several of the greatest geniuses of the Sect were already in Allen’s camp and if he pulls them out one day due to personal reasons, the Sect would surely curse him out loud.
In any case, Allen didn’t want to have a conflict with the Passing Cloud Sect after the help they have given him. He was not that an ungrateful person.
As for giving them training, causing them to become even stronger, Allen did it to repay them and also compensate them for Si Mulan, and the other’s real statuses as DAWN members. Now even Bu Fanyi, the Holy Saintess of the Sect was added to them. Thus, compared to Qin Han’s group, the Passing Cloud Sect disciples who at the very least receive Allen’s care and training were much stronger than them, causing the Fire Lotus Buddha Sect to be somewhat disgruntled. However, they have neither the right to complain nor the courage to do it…
In any case, they were still able to increase their cultivation quite rapidly because of being able to train along with them…
… …
Whoosh! Whoosh! Si Mulan, Bu Fanyi, Lan Ling ‘er, Qin Han all leaped into the air, then followed by the others. The other members all went down and started to search for tracks.
“Just like what the Map displayed, there really is an underground city…” Si Mulan muttered as she stared at the map shown on the terminal’s screen. “Right now, let’s just look for the entrance, shall we…” she muttered, full of excitement.
“As expected, B level access can even display this kind of information huh…” Lan Ling ‘er sigh as she too stared at her own terminal but there was no map for an underground City. If not for Si Mulan’s access, they wouldn’t be able to find this Underground Ruins.
“You really should not worry about it, Ling ‘er. Even I was still below your level though…” Bu Fanyi muttered with a wry smile.
“However, according to the information, this is quite a dangerous ruins…”
“That would be for the best if not…we wouldn’t be able to advance faster…”
As they were conversing happily while walking, at this moment, "There's an entrance here!" An exclamation sounded and caught everyone's attention.
Several disciples were standing in front of a palace-wall-like structure, and a long pathway could be seen underground.
"Underground path? This should be it…!” Qin Han’s eyes twinkled the moment he saw the long pathway.
However, everyone's senses were heavily restricted in the Despair Grieving Mountain. Even the mud and buildings could limit their senses. And so, they could only proceed in caution. Si Mulan and Lan Ling ‘er both then took out a semi-transparent colored monocle, putting them on their left eyes.
[Scouter], unlike the fictional scouter where it can measure power-levels, these simple Scouters have simple but convenient abilities, especially in this world. It can see passed through obstacles clearly, has night vision, can create a mini-map that the user had ventured and many more…

It was a reconnaissance-type scouter.
Si Mulan and Lan Ling ‘er both have bought them from the Exchange Shop as it was extremely convenient, especially if their spiritual perception failed them.
"It should be an underground city," Si Mulan spoke while she surveyed the entire area, and everyone agreed with her.
Hearing her words, no one wasn’t excited…in fact; all of them were beaming with eagerness and enthusiasm!
What kind of items was in this underground city?
Nobody knows.
What kind of civilization was it before?
Nobody knows.
How powerful were the people living in this place in their own era?
Nobody knows.
This was the real reason why so many people desired to be here!
To get their hands on the inheritance from ancient super cultivators means getting secrets techniques or training advice. To anyone, no matter how powerful, this was of great value and would lead to great opportunities!
What is the fundamental reason for someone’s high position in the Divine Martial Continent?
Some say its lots and lots of spiritual stones. Some say it’s the underlying natural talent. Some say it’s the house or clan one belongs to. Some say it’s the status in the Sect. Though all these things are important, the most defining factor is inheritance!
Spiritual stones lose their values, those with natural talent wither, powerful houses or clans perish. Only inheritances can ensure the strong ones can continue their dominance.
After all, the Cultivation World regards capabilities highly!
No doubt, the most valuable item is the entire inheritance of those ancient super cultivators. Whoever gets this will gain many advantages and cause a power imbalance in the entire continent!
“Be careful everyone, don’t let your guard down…!”
When Si Mulan felt the environment around her, she could easily tell that the world energy here is much richer (dense) than the surface or even the outside world. If she were to sit in meditation and cultivate, she could estimate that her efficiency would be 3-4 times that of when she cultivate outside. Sadly, she had no time to cultivate. She and her companions were all here for treasures or the inheritance. Taking time to purely cultivate was akin to giving up the search for them.
The pathway went underground, and the mud was slightly wet. One could even see small insects. “Let’s proceed but do not let your guard down…!” The group started to discuss, and the majority agreed to go down and scout it out. The group followed the pathway and went down.
There were some pearls in the pathway that gave off a faint light, causing the underground city to be very bright for an underground location. It was like a mineral peeking out as along the path, all were embedded with the eternally lit Pearls of Light. It emitted beams of warm light. There were also some half palm-sized fireflies flying out here and there but all attention was on these pearls of light.
These human head-sized Pearls of Light were valuable enough to bring a shock to people’s faces. The reason behind the astonishment was that, although they are considered useless minerals due to the fact that they cannot be used to create sturdy and sharp weapons and armors, but these lights never dimmed and were often used to replace torches. It was also not very useful in terms of advancing in the cultivation journey; it was none-the-less an object that treasure collectors desired. Thus, many cultivators who were interested in them locked their eyes on these prizes.
These minerals were something that is rarely found even in the entire Divine Continent… but for this place to have so much, it was incredible…!
As the group was extremely excited and was about to start mining these pearls of light, suddenly at this moment, “Hey. Be careful, everyone! Monsters confirmed ahead!” Si Mulan’s voice echoed out. At a closer look, a huge lump appeared from the shades of the pathway.
“That’s––!”
Reflected in the eyes of the group was a giant metal soldier whose half body was covered with rock scales.
It was a kind of monsters commonly known as Golem.
A large-sized non-living monster which boasted of its big frame and superhuman strength. Although it had weaknesses such as its slow pace and its monotonous attacks, it possessed a hard, sturdy metal body; it was proud of its power in which a single blow delivered from its weight was impossible to defend against and to which a fatal wound was unavoidable.
Escape would be easy for competent cultivators and warriors, but the subjugation was a nearly impossible formidable obstacle. The only consolation was that because it was not an active kind for a monsters as they were commonly used as guardians on some kind of places such these ruins, if one did not approach carelessly, there was a very small risk of being attacked; but since it had appeared, it could not be left alone forever. Besides, Si Mulan and the others wanted to proceed forward and they would surely block their path…
“It looks like it will be quite worth defeating it, right Mulan?”
Even so, Bu Fanyi calmly muttered while looking at the target.
“Golems…seems like good materials for master…” Si Mulan grinned.
—And without further ado… they attack and the battle began…!
Ooooouuuuuhhhhh—!!
The giant spear danced in the golem’s hands. Despite its massive size, it’s handling of the spear was actually better than most people. The Golems movements were agile, despite their large build. ‘Gashah gashah’, was the noise that appeared while they rapidly approached, they gave off intense force along with their glinting weapons.
It’s as if one was fighting not a mindless golem but a person wearing golem attire. Terrifying violent energy spread in the sky and it seemed as if it was completely splitting the atmosphere and blotting the sky, this sight was quite overwhelming. This energy was incomparably terrifying and produced a sharp piercing sound, as if all other sounds had completely vanished from the atmosphere, leaving only the dreadful sound of spears rushing through the sky.

Fireflys
Just a romance about my lovelies, Sprig and Anne. ☺️A story where they find feelings for each other. And a change of look for the out-of-place human!🐸 (and yes he's like 10, but it's not like I'm making them do a lot of crap😂 I had my first crush when I was 9 lol)(SOME THINGS FOLLOW THE ACTUALLY SHOW! Not everything though. I don't own the show or the characters. Most of this comes from my own imagination, or I've changed to go for my story. You are not forced to read it, so please don't put any hate in the comments)(I'm also not the best at writing, so some of it might be bland😂 I try)(Also, Yes. I know it's 'Fireflies' but I'm not changing it now😂) (JUST SO YOU KNOW! I am NOT a great writer! I am not good at thinking over things completely! I'm still trying to improve, but I am not an expert, or anywhere close to being so! There are a lot of open ended things in my stories, but most of them I just use to move forward! Please don't look too closely at my flaws😂 if you do, then that's all you'll see😂😅)
