Chapter 660: [Allen(Schwarz) Vs Crocell (2)]
“He’s gaining control!!”
Crocell’s expression paled as she tried to dodge Allen’s attack.
Crocell was constantly evading and running away. But Allen was also pursuing her stubbornly. His aura continued to rise. Allen’s strength was constantly condensing like a surging tidal wave!
Seeing Allen in such a state, Crocell wiped away the hair that was cut by the ice thorns and vines and took a light breath.
"Master is really strong… but this one will surely take you back to us!" Crocell muttered seriously. She then held her sword in both of her hands and she stretched it out. A bluish-white glow circulated on the sword's edges.
Swiiish! One swing and several ice vines and thorns were cut into pieces. Her demonic energy condensed and very soon, a layer of frost formed on her body which grew exceedingly thicker. Soon, it covered her sword, hand, and it eventually spread throughout her entire body.
A chill that penetrated into one’s bones had permeated in all directions. Even the creatures, who were far away, could feel this bone-chilling coldness.
Then, the increasing magic energy slowly began to condense behind Crocell, forming an image. It was the image of a white wolf. It was large in size, about 4-5 meters in height and seven meters long. It stood majestically behind Crocell and it gave a strong visual impact. “Frost Wolf! Go!!” Crocell ordered and the large snow-white wolf immediately pounced towards Allen’s direction. Its claws and fangs cut the ice vines and tendrils and even when it coiled around it, trying to squeeze it into a pulp, the thick hide of the monster unmatched by the Ice vines and was easily severed.
The White Frost Wolf appeared in front of Allen.
With Allen’s current appearance of that of a child, the Snow Wolf was a giant!
Several cries and shrieks appeared behind him as the wolf raised its claws at Allen. However, Allen was still unperturbed. When the claw was just about to hit him, a dazzling beautiful sword suddenly materializes between Allen and the Frost Wolf and blocked the Wolf’s claws.
Aoooowww—?!
The Frost Wolf’s eyes widened in shock upon seeing the floating sword that had blocked its attack.
Clench! Under the sword, Allen’s fist was clenched. He didn’t try any flashy tricks and he just hit a single simple punch. He knew that the Frost Wolf is only inferior to the real Frost Wolf; Fenrir and its senses far surpassed those of the same type of beast, trick moves did nothing to it. The fists crashing on the Frost Wolf’s body caused a shockwave. With the release of the compressed power, it reverberated with an impact that even made waves became visible in the atmosphere.
—?!! The Frost Wolf’s body was blown away by Allen’s fist.
“Haaaaaaaaa!!!” Crocell’s cry echoed in the entire surrounding and then her ice blade faced the ground. This cold blade then stabbed into the icy ground.
Baaang!! A cold wind blew out from the surrounding! Frost and chilling energy began to emanate, with Crocell’s sword as its center.
Ka-cha! Ka-cha! Column after column of ice pillars formed on the ground, creating some kind of platform or arena. The entire forest within half a mile had now turned into a forest of ice, with Crocell at the center. Ice Arena!

Allen stood inside the ice forest, facing Crocell’s sword, experiencing the bone-chilling coldness around him. To normal warriors, they would be attacked by the cold toxin and their movements would be reduced to less than half, as they were swimming in muddy water. The cold energy within this arena was just too strong that it would freeze not on the body but also the opponent’s mind. And against the powerful enemies, even if they managed to protect themselves, they would be greatly weakened as well.
Eerika and the others immediately sensed the overwhelming oppression and hurriedly retreated a few steps back, not daring to stay within the Arena of Ice. Well, not like they could offer a helping hand, anyway. This battle is already out of their league!
As for Allen, he was just standing indifferently as if the coldness didn’t bother him.
"Oh… This ice arena..."
A domain. Allen looked around and frowned slightly. He could feel that each ice column had a spiritual connection with Crocell. Through his eyes and Frosmourne’s sensitive perception with Ice energy, Allen could see that each ice column contained extremely pure ice energy. And this energy had thousands of connections with Crocell.
The ice column's energies came from Crocell’s body, but at the same time, these ice columns also gathered magical energy from the surroundings to supply Crocell, acting like some kind of a lightning rod, or antenna for magical energy. Not only it can hurt and weaken her opponent, but it also gave her an unlimited amount of magical power—
“Master…this one doesn’t want to hurt thee… please come back to us!”
“That I cannot do…” Allen shook his head.
Crocell gritted her teeth in anger and frustration from Allen’s firm answer. It seemed that without a fierce battle, there was no other way to end this matter.
‘Shhh…’ Crocell reached out. “Since thou hast spoken, then don’t blame me for being merciless!”
“Thank you for being merciless!” Allen’s lips bloomed into a devilish beautiful flower. In his hand appeared the Frostmourne shrieking as if screaming its excitement or the anger it was feeling.
At that moment, Crocell attacked!
When she stabbed out it was as if all the frost energy on the arena was drawn out. The energy within the ice columns was driven by Crocell’s attack, now sweeping towards Allen!
Allen’s eyes narrowed as he moved his sword slightly so that it was a sharp 45 degrees from the ground. A pleasant breeze blew by and the helm of hooded jacket rippled. Allen, who was stationary until this point, now moved like a strong wind – no, it should be compared to a storm, full of speed and strength – and just like when he had attacked Crocell a while ago. Only a remnant of Allen’s silhouette was left as he rushed towards Crocell, intending to meet her head-on.
A sonic boom echoed behind him, two seconds later his body disappeared, crushing and destroying the ground beneath him into a large five meters wide and two-meter deep crater. Allen’s wrist was wrapped in beautiful azure dragon scales as he thrust the Frostmourne towards Crocell’s body.
"Frost Blade!" Crocell twisted her blade and the surge of frost energy formed dozen frost arcs as sharp as wind blades, shooting towards Allen.
BAAAAAANG!!
Allen’s Frostmourne had a fierce collision with Crocell’s Ice Sword.

The two aimed to better the other, causing an explosion of energy to occur. Space seemed to have cracked and even ripples of energy appeared from the point where the two swords clashed, blowing away everything in the surrounding. Booom! When the aftershock of the immense explosion approached, both Allen and Crocell were pushed back. When Allen was retreating, his eyes suddenly focused and he abruptly lifted his head. Just above him, the huge Frost Wolf was attacking him!
Its white killer fangs flashed.
It was already too late to dodge. The Frost Wolf’s speed within the Ice Arena was just too fast.
“Soll!!” A frantic cry could be heard from behind him. However, Allen was still calm. His shoulder was bitten by the Frost Wolf, suddenly cracked like glass and then, starting from there, Allen’s figure turned bluish-white like ice and crumbled into pieces.
“You’re too annoying!”
Allen’s cold voice suddenly reappeared behind the giant Frost Wolf, the beast’s eyes widened in shock as it felt a sudden creepy danger feeling.
…?!!
“Break!” Allen’s Frostmourne slashed and the Frost Wolf’s giant body, in an instant, like tofu, was split into two parts, which was then transformed into a block of ice, crumbling apart.
“Thousand Ice Flowers!!”
Suddenly above Allen, Crocell had appeared and with her Ice sword, she created innumerable illusory swords thrusting towards Allen. True to its name, the illusionary swords seemed to be blossoming flowers with petals swaying in the breeze. hundreds, thousands, Allen couldn’t focus on the numerous illusory swords that were heading towards his body. Even though the Demon Duchess was holding one sword, it was pointing in so many different directions and creating so many strong breezes in its wake that it was as if each of them were real swords and not just illusory after-images.
Seeing it like this, one could feel despair as they would surely realize that there is no escape!
With the Demon Duchess attack, every people who had eyes could see that the illusory swords seemed to have blocked all of Allen’s escape routes. The Demon Duchess clearly only had one sword, but it was as if Allen was being cut by innumerable swords. Those who saw the Demon Duchess using a sword attack for the first time let out a surprised cry. She was already powerful with her ice control magic spell and now with her sword skills, she can easily topple every normal warriors Asgardians has!
Crocell’s sword attacks were capable of cutting her opponent to bits… it was like being attacked by more than hundreds of swords, ten times, in an instant. Even people with high-level realm such as a Mid God would be unable to withstand the attack and would be severely injured by the Ice Toxins created by the domain and sword attacks, or worse—killed in by them. Allen who was already covered by the illusory swords would die in an instant unless he covered his body with a strong barrier or escape the range of the attack.
But…
Within the illusory swords, the people noticed that Allen’s body was in a trance. It was as if his body was placed on a light screen, fuzzy and immaterial. The swords were passing through him as he just stood there, no damage or blood appearing. It was just like he was nonchalantly floating--a specter. Then while still within the illusory swords, he suddenly lifted his sword in his hands, “Ice Moon Fang Heaven-Piercer!!” with a swung of his blade, a snow-white blade energy which covered a 5m arc in front of him, towards the Demon Duchess.
Imitating a certain sure-kill attack, Allen’s attack has a range of 5-6m and the speed in which he raised his hands was incomparably fast. There was no way that anyone would be able to dodge that. Just when his sword was about to hit the Demon Duchess, a “ding” sound that came to his ears.
The Demon Duchess illusory swords had disappeared and the Ice sword was pressed against Allen’s sword; Frostmourne, preventing the skill from activating. Allen wrinkled his brow and added more pressure in his arm, the Frostmourne trembled violently as if also angered of being stopped. Crocell who was startled by the pushing force was immediately pushed away and moved backward so that the two separated.
They looked at each other, silent.
“He was clearly within the illusory blades range, how…” seeing Allen perfectly fine and was even able to counter-attack, Crocell couldn’t help but get startled, unable to believe her own eyes. She was extremely proud of her sword skills and up until now, even if they weren’t killed by the attack, they would still be injured gravely. But now, Allen was actually standing with no injuries whatsoever!
It’s as if what she had struck was an illusion, a mirage…!
But how is that possible…?!
Within the illusory swords, Allen had managed to not get hurt at all, which meant that none of the illusory swords touched his body, which was even more surprising. Crocell was prideful of the fact that she could swing at over twenty different angles in one second, so if you wanted to evade it, you had to evade the swords shapes entirely. Otherwise, if one were to use their sword, they would have to do so within one second in order to precisely match all the swings!
This was not something a normal human could do!
Even a Mid God specialized in swordsmanship could only barely do it!
When did her Master become so strong…? Without their presence, their master had actually gone such transformation…!!
Seeing this, Crocell felt as if her existence and pride had taken a severe blow. They prided themselves as guardians of their master and protector but now, without their help, their master had far surpassed them in a blink of an eye!
This was a massive blow on her heart—it’s as if their master was better alone compared to having them…
“As expected of my Demon Duchess, your swordsmanship has improved,” Allen smiled faintly as he looked straight ahead at Crocell who was in a daze. His voice lacks any cold intent and it was actually even a bit gentle and warm.
Hearing his words, Crocell almost choked up in tears. She bit her lips and her glassy eyes were like the surface of a pond full of ripples…
“Master…sorry…” she muttered incoherently. But she can’t stop… this is for her master. This is for him to come back to them and to take revenge on the Celestial Realm who had taken him, their master away from them!
