Chapter 649: [Flame Emperor Ignisius]

“Did you think this kind of low-level power can restrict me…?!! You’re underestimating me, Dungeon!!”

Allen roared in anger and his body exploded with the aura that even the Giant Skeleton was startled, stepping a few steps back. Cracks appeared in the air as Allen, like a dam that couldn’t hold back the water anymore burst out, his power erupted.

His magic power came bursting out like a fountain.

Incredible amounts of mana then came gushing out of his body like a torrent of water. The vast amounts of mana, as well as the horrifying quality of it, then went on to his surroundings and started devastating the area around him, that the sea of Magma beneath him had even caved down, almost reaching the ground floor.

The mana he let forth was so strong the air around him started creaking, like a submarine in the deepest bottom.

“…?!” Dakna who had been with Allen all this time was even shocked to her core as she screamed in her mind.

The tremendous amount of pure magic power was filling up the entire space they were in. It was an eerie mass of pure power. The air itself became heavier and Dakna felt that gravity itself had increased as well. As one of the magic races, the Dragons, she was sensitive to mana. And so she couldn’t be, at this very moment, help but be overwhelmed just by watching this and felt that her very core was being violated by the mana.

“Upuu,” Dakna could barely stand it. A feeling as though she was going to throw up welled up inside her. The mana was just that sinister and offensive. Had she not focused her mana she probably would have passed out just from trying to resist it.

“A mere being with no life wants to restrict me… you are thinking highly of yourself!! And you bastard monster! You dare look down on me?!!” Allen roared in anger.

Dark thunderclouds that were dyed pitch black rolled overhead and sending lightning strikes one after another. This caused the Dungeon to crack even more—Allen snorted and clenched his fist, when the Skeleton probably due to panic, hurriedly throw over the dangerous Fireball, grinned mockingly. His fist glowed and BOOOOOOM!!! —punched the air in front of him.

Space seemed to have cracked the moment the fist was sent out as the space look like a glass breaking.

——an uncontrollable, world-shaking explosion reverberated through the empty air.

BAAAAAANGGG!!! As the impact of the fist and the fireball clashed, they both exploded in the air. Destructive-Like energy spread out from the spot where the point of the clash had been. At this moment, waves of ripples surfaced in the empty air.

The ripples spread and passed through the entire Ocean and the 14th layer.

—At this instant, an explosion that was like a thunderclap could be heard at every layer of the entire Dungeon!

As Dakna focused all her magic power to brace herself from the impact of the explosion, all while being protected by Allen’s magic aura, she then heard an echo that sounded like something was cracking.

“Wha-What was that?” said Dakna.

Looking up, Dakna saw that the sky was cracking. A fissure was running across the sky and all she could see underneath it was a black of the darkest pitch.

“It can’t be, is this Dungeon being torn apart?!”

The fissure continued to grow larger and the sound of creaking could then be heard from other places as well.

“Master?!!” Dakna cried out in anxiety. If the Dungeon really broke apart, it was no laughing matter. They, including all those players inside the Dungeon would surely be swallowed by the void and be lost in a strange dimension!

That can’t happen!! Seeing Dakna panicking, Allen was still quite calm—

“Calm down, Dakna… I know what you’re worried about.” His voice was slightly cold and solemn, probably due to his current transformation but Dakna didn’t really care about it. After all, no matter what Allen was or what he would become in the future, he was still her beloved master.

“I regulated my power enough to not break this Dungeon.” He muttered.

Allen’s gaze turned towards the direction of the [Magma Tyrannous] where the air was still shaking and the sea was trembling. At such close proximity to the explosion, even a monster like the [Magma Tyrannous] who was absorbing the power of a Fireseed would have difficulty completely enduring such a terrifying destructive force.

Following the slow flow of time, the fire wave that covered the entire 14th layer finally began to dissipate. A complete mess appeared in one’s sight. Even though Dakna had expected this, she still could not resist smiling bitterly and shaking her head in shock.

As the explosion slowly subsided the magic power that had surrounded the entire place vanished as though it were never there, to begin with, and Allen’s transformation as also slowly being undone while Dakna was freed from the pressure. The fissure in the sky also stopped growing and began to close up more and more.

“Hmph! You are so full of yourself wanting to kill me while restricting me, right? Hah! For a dungeon that was so full of itself and thinks itself infallible, you are not that great at all, huh.”

This dimension is known as “Dungeon” was made by magic and is a completely different dimension from the Demon and Human Worlds. Seeing this, Dakna cannot help but smile bitterly; “M, master… you can shake off the restriction of this Dungeon?!”

She asked, slight disbelief written in her eyes. Even she was helpless against the restriction… but for her master to be able to cast off and ignore this small world’s law is truly unbelievable.

“It’s not something amazing… everything has a limit. This Dungeon cannot endure the power that above that is normal Mid Gods. It’s not something that can suppress me—”

Saying that Allen exploded his magic power once again. And the suffocating pressure that usually surrounded his own body as if he was inside the deep sea was slowly being pushed back. He wielded his power intentionally trying to shake off that pressure.

That moment― the entire Dungeon trembled.

As if creaking,

As if cracking,

Along with the sound of fatal destruction that brought about terror just by hearing it, the ground, everything of it… shook.

Against that shaking, Dakna felt sweat gushing out from her back.

“U, unbelievable. Then master, just why didn’t you try to get free from this restriction all this time until now!? If you did, Miss Romeia’s request would be done in no time…!”

“That’s obvious. ―That’s because it wouldn’t be fun at all, wouldn’t it?”

Without hiding anything, Allen made clear his own thinking.

“…?!!”

“It’s been a long since I had this kind of feeling, and it was quite nostalgic and somewhat kind of enjoyable. Besides, this Dungeon is by no means useless to me.” Allen smiled faintly. “Due to the restriction, my magic power is being suppressed as well as my abilities. Using this, I can grind myself pretty well—it’s not something ordinary dungeon can do. And so I allowed myself to be surprised like this…in order to temper my abilities and magic power.”

Dakna’s eyes were in a daze. All this time, due to Allen’s feat all the time, she couldn’t really understand how powerful a Mid-God was. But now, she truly finally understand how terrifying Mid Gods were supposed to be!

Indeed, they are befitting to be called Gods…!

The enemy was another Mid God-like disaster of a monster.

The power as the Mid God Allen was necessary to defeat the enemy.

If he couldn’t win―he couldn’t protect Dakna or the others at that inside the Dungeon. Killing this monster and stealing the fire seed is safer than letting it live here, causing problems to other players including Layla and the others when they reached this place.

The underground world suddenly shook as lava and flames surged from the ground. The entire 14th layer was shaking violently.

"I….I will devour everything—!!!! I am a GOOOOD!! Kneel before…my presence…!!" a voice suddenly sounded from the depths as the roar of an enraged creature echoed throughout the entire layer.

Even the surface felt a slight trembling sensation. In just a short while, the lava was spreading everywhere. If it was just the power of the lava, it wouldn't much of a threat to the monsters on the ground surface. Lava was really only dangerous to some of the various species that lived in the 14th layer such as the Fire Imps and those with weaker levels or fire energy within their bodies.

However, the lava that suddenly spewed out from the sea contained Fire of the Earth and the erosion power of the Fire Seed, which could burn normal monsters into ashes. Fire of the Earth could even threaten Intermediate Lesser Deity Realm.

The shaking sensation and crashing sounds continued. One could roughly estimate what was happening in the underground world based on the trembling sensation and how often it shook.

Boom! Crack! Baaang!!

A tremendous explosion sounded from the Sea of Magma, then the screams of countless beings. A large chasm started to appear in the ocean of fire, and volcanoes spat out lava as a surge of Destructive aura appeared. In this instant, countless beings within the Dungeon felt a strong Destructive aura that made them unable to breathe.

Wu~~~~ Roar~ the roar resounded across Heaven and Earth as the entire Dungeon shook and volcanoes and lava continued to erupt. Hu~~

Allen suspended in the air, covered himself with thick fire energy. Behind him was Dakna, staring at the scene before them with wide-open eyes. Standing before them was a few hundred yards long gigantic skeleton, although a bit bruised and a has a long menacing crack from its skull and some part of his skeleton, it was still untouched and seemed to be even angrier.

The golden flame in the [Magma Tyrannous] eyes turned crimson. The lava around its body was now sheathed in a loose bloody robe that covered it from its head to its feet and a bloody crown appeared on its head. It finally revealed its true form—Allen frowned, then it was replaced by shock.

“…Flame Emperor, Ignisius!?”

Allen exclaimed in shock as he immediately recognizes the sudden appearance of the soul within the Giant Skeleton. He couldn’t see it before due to the Fire Seed and seemed to be hiding but now that it had revealed itself, Allen was able to saw its soul clearly.

“…But Romeia said that there is nothing in the 14th layer…! Wait, does it presence being masked by the Fire Seed all this time, causing Romeia to overlook it?” Romeia had scanned the 1st to the 15th layer through the players who had ventured it, using them as a catalyst for her power. And thus, only knows that only in the 13th and 15th layer does a soul of her former comrades resided. But why here in the 14th layer…?

“Ignorant… Outsider! You will be burned along with the dead......”

“Flame Emperor… if he had a Fire Seed, then being known as a Flame Emperor is not unrealistic…” Allen’s eyes narrowed.

The monster had finally shown its true self. Although Allen had gotten proof of his suspicions, he was discouraged to see this. The [Magma Tyrannous] was much more powerful than Arakel the Scorpion King, all because of the Fire Seed, an unlimited battery. Just like what Romeia said, one of the most troublesome to fight against will be the Fire Emperor.

But Romeia didn’t say anything about the Fire Seed…does she not know of it as well?

Well, not like even him would know about a Fire Seed if not for Fia, though…

Furthermore, from what Allen can see, due to the influence of the Fire Seed, if the Scorpion King was a puppet that lived by instinct, the [Magma Tyrannous] was a monster with human intelligence, although not really on par with a human being but at the very least, it still retained at least of its sentience through the Fire Seed.

As if it was devoid of wisdom but still retained all of its attack patterns and instinct. Both its abilities and its intelligence were much higher than the Scorpion King…making him quite troublesome opponent.

The [Magma Tyrannous] floated into the air with its bloody robe fluttering. “I…I will devour…all of you!! For me, revenge and burn the…heavens…become…my supplements!!”

“… …” Is this bastard, trying.... so it’s like that… Allen’s brows frowned.

His intelligence and wisdom have been eroded already. All remained was hatred…he’s no more than a beast at this point!

Crack! Allen clenched his fist and went into a stance. I need to get serious…

“Master…” Dakna called out in worry.

Dakna was startled but she then nodded her head in understanding as she too understands the situation.

“I will support master when master needed it…”

After hurling that abuse, Allen focused his consciousness through his whole body. And then, he felt the oppression that continuously bound him. As if thick chains were coiling around him.

“…20%...no, 30% should be fine…”

While saying this, snapping and cracking sounds echoed inside his body. He then felt that a bit of the suppression slowly fading. And the feeling of oppression that constantly wrapped around his body as if he was at the bottom of the ocean was slightly mitigated.

The Dungeon trembled…that was when Allen stop what he was doing. So this is the limit…

"You think you can still escape from this World?” Allen muttered coldly. “Accept your loss and pass the baton to the younger generation…! Wailing like this will only make you look like a little kid!”

When Allen’s words fell, the [Magma Tyrannous] had already made its move with wind-breaking speed. A flaming long spear appeared horizontally in the air, and it pierced straight towards Allen.

“Arrogant… devil spawn, die!!”

When the [Magma Tyrannous] made a move, the instant eruption of aura caused the magma sea and the ground to tumble from the blast of force; at the same time, several kilometers of wind and sand violently rose. Allen’s figure blurred. Woosh. He lightly dodged, causing the [Magma Tyrannous] attack to simply strike air and pierce through a blurred image. Suddenly, electric sparks appeared on Allen’s body, and a large blast of lightning blasts towards the giant monster.

The [Magma Tyrannous] bellowed angrily—his attack towards this mere human was actually completely dodged, and the flaming spear, which was created through his fire energy, had merely pierced a blurred image. Because of this, the [Magma Tyrannous] was both astonished and enraged in an instant. He quickly raised his body as flames surged forth from his entire body and bombarded Allen with an attack. “I will… burn… you into ashes!!”

“Hmph! You look weak when you immediately conclude things like that!”

A pair of wings made up from lightning appeared on Allen’s back and his speed increased significantly. He even summoned a storm, and the power radiating from it was incredibly strong. His move still wasn't done yet.

"Fia!"

A bright red flame burned around Allen’s body, making him look like a flaming demonic sovereign. After the double power-up, even without unleashing all his power to avoid affecting the Dungeon, his attacks had reached the threshold of a Peak Lesser Deity, even surpassing normal Lesser Deities.

“Breaaaak!!” He disappeared, only to avoid the giant skeleton’s arm on time and then reappear and attacked from another direction. Just when it dashed its flame spear at the monster again, the black scythe appeared again and blocked its attack.

But Allen did not give up; it kept changing the positions of its attacks. Its spear came like a lightning bolt while possessing the destructive power of fire, came from every direction possible. However, the giant skeletal Spirit did not move at all.

As if there were eyes all over its body, the monster managed to block all of Allen’s attacks using its barrier—Tsk! Allen couldn’t help but clicked his tongue in annoyance after seeing the barrier which was surely generated by the Fire Seed to protect itself!
