Chapter 586: [ Battle in Solheim (3) ]
“… …”
Allen frowned and couldn't help but ponder of what the Dragon King had said.
A new world...?
Though perhaps, it’s because…
Allen recalled his Summoning Grimoire, which he had made as one of the bases of his own Domain. He had done it, subconsciously or not, but there was already a world out there and Allen had just synchronized his world to the Grimoire.
As someone who has no how-to-make-domain knowledge whatsoever, to successfully create it and advance, Allen took advantage of the Grimoire and mold it based on his own desires.
It’s not creating out of anything but… molding something out of an already preexisting object.
He just copies the program, creates and modified it for his own.
Two worlds as one—something along those lines.
… That was probably the reason why he was different.
Though, this was the first time I have heard about it…
The world within the Tower was most likely the world within the Grimoire. And that world within it was far more beautiful than any world he had seen so far. Unfortunately, with his current strength, he was only able to enter for a day at most and wouldn’t be able to enter for a week after, unlike his Tamed Beasts. But as long as his power and control of his Grimoire rise, that would not be a problem.
Mountains, rivers, grasslands, valleys, ocean—it was a complete world beyond his expectation. That was the core of this world—[ Solheim ]
If the world they are in right now was the [ Battlefield ]—then, the world within the tower was [ Paradise ]—
Two faces of the same coin.
“…I guess I’m special… that’s all,”
Allen grinned provokingly.
Even still, it was not omnipotent or perfect. Although he can affect the world within the tower, he wasn’t able to completely control it. Even Rebellion can only control it as much as him—she had said that this world was already present when she woke up from a long sleep. It was a natural world or so she called it.
As for his Domain, although he seemed to be able to do everything he wanted, in fact, there was still a limit. For example, if the Dragon King fought seriously against him, and he wanted Allen to die, Allen wouldn’t be able to protect himself even within this world.
Absolute power would just erode everything…
The world’s strength depends on Allen’s strength, after all…
“… …”
The Dragon King stared at Allen. “You’re really an enigmatic existence. Perhaps, you can actually do something that anyone was helpless to do.”
It wasn't anything that had to do with reason or logic or dignity or appearances or shame or reputation, or power or potential, it was just a part of Allen’s existence, evidently the nucleus of the human Allen himself. The wretched, unsightly, selfish, unreasonable - and yet despite all this, honest and frank and "human".

He has something that can allow him to do something out of everyone’s expectation, breaking the normal custom and ignoring logic.
He was that typical, unreasonable and outrageous—Human.
A monster, created in the image of God, weak compared to other creations and yet…for some unknown reason, held a tremendous potential that even the ‘One True God’ himself hadn’t expect them to have!
“…That’s why the world… is so beautiful…”
There are so many kinds of idiots that would never make me bored…
“Well, Lecture ends here for now… next, are hands-on experience…” The Dragon King grinned.
“…hmph, just like what I wanted…!” His eyes narrowed, Allen looked like he was about to break the hilt of the sword as he gripped it.
The eyes of the two Monster Kings collided.
With this signal…
… Boooooom!!!

Even though the bandages on their bodies were ripped and the blood continued to seep out of their wounds, Allen’s Family and the Dragon King’s Clansmen were unconcerned about their physical condition.
From almost a kilometer away from the center of the battlefield, they stood dumbfounded as they observed and watched the furious battle between the two Monster Kings.
The sound of explosions, gusts of wind, shockwaves, aftershocks, rain of blades, raging storms... the wake of the battle alone was impressive; considering the huge amount of rubble scattered about, however, it was equally amazing no one else had been caught in the crossfire.
Though they were all Monsters far above that of other monsters in the world and can be said to be among of those so-called Elites of the Entire Celestial Realm, this battle had already far surpassed their abilities, and after the huge maze of magic arrays were blown away they could only continue to observe the two monsters above.
Shouts, metal clash against metal, storms blowing away the steam in the air to form what looks like a vestige of ruins after a war breaks out. There were many after-effects of every attack and, no matter which it was, should any of Allen’s family or the Dragon King’s entourage be hit by it they would be instantly reduced to dust. These extremely powerful attacks and spells were being used all over the place.
From their vantage point, it was easy to feel they were observing a galaxy colliding with another galaxy.
With this clash, countless stars exploded, space was distorted, everything swallowed by darkness, and new lights appeared again, giving the impression of chasing the darkness away.
So what did the two colliding galaxies represent?
One was Allen Bando.
The one who was called intruder from the lower realm.
He was a High King, though unofficial, he was crowned and acknowledge by many people from all over the planes—a Monster King who was originally human, with a body, advanced to that of a monster and yet still retained the mentality of a Human!
With his potential and power, he can be considered a Monster among Monsters!
And the other was also a Monster among Monsters as well.
Crowned as one of the Kings of the Strongest Race, he carried the power that can literally destroy an entire continent with just a casual wave of his hand.
… There were among the monsters who stood in the summit of those can really be called the Strongest.
"..."
Mireya glanced at the woman in front of her. Waist-length blue hair and a pair of long curved horns on the forehead. She has beautiful azure colored eyes that looked clear and pure, like the sky itself…
“What do you say…” Mireya smiled bitterly. “Seeing them like that, I lost interest in fighting…” She turned her gaze towards the two men who were enjoying their own battle, completely ignoring their surroundings. In fact, Mireya was confident that Allen had already forgotten about them at this point in time.
Hearing Mireya’s words, Qin, and the others shrugged their shoulders as if agreeing. From the way it looks, it seems like the Dragon King and Allen wasn’t going to have deathmatch or something…
“… Men are always like this. When something took their interest, they would immediately forget their surroundings…” Thud! She sat down on the ground. “Ah, I’m beat…”
“I’ll agree with you on that… Father might be an old man already but just like his appearance, he was still a child…” The blue haired woman sighs.
“Ha ha, ri—eh?! Father? You mean you’re that guy’s daughter?!”
“Hm? I always heard that we look alike, though…”
“Now that you mention it…” Mireya stared at the blue haired girl.
Well, if one looks closely, indeed, she really looked like the Dragon King, albeit, just a bit, just a bit beautiful…
“Mireya Icefang… Bando…” Mireya extended her hands towards the girl.
“Lu’thala,” The Blue haired girl smiled warmly.
“Well, I don’t think they would finish anytime soon, so how about a cup of tea…”
“A tea? Where? Here?” Lu’thala asked bewildered.
But Mireya only smirked proudly. She then pointed towards the massive Tower. “Since we are here anyway, let’s go, I’ll invite you, to our home… Solheim!”
“… …?”

In the Ruinos Castle:
“As expected, husband was caught in another trouble again—”
Alkrasha said as she shook her blond pigtail that had a slight green tinge to it, and beside her, Layla chuckled in amusement and respond to her.
“Well, this is my brother we’re talking about… as long as he steps outside, troubles would surely find its way towards him…”
“But is this really okay? It seems like he was up against another Monster King and he looked very strong…” Liu Muxiao asked worriedly.
“It’s fine, there seems to be no hostility or killing intent between them… look, both of them are smiling and laughing like little kids playing in a sandbox…” Celty, who was in the bar counter at the corner of the room, said casually.
Layla, who was sitting at the center of the room with Alkrasha, Xue Ling, and Liu Muxiao, gave a wry smile on hearing this.
“However, can’t we really go where they were at…?”
Laura shook her while moving her hand at the transparent keyboard just beside the large screen found in the room. “Judging from the surrounding, they should be in a different dimension cut out from ours. That should be the Domain…”
Because of the poor reception, the mage was static and wasn’t clear. Probably because it was another world with time and space difference, the image was a bit blurry and unkind to viewers.
“Domain… never thought Gods can do something like that…”
“Creating a new world… that seems interesting…”
It was a room found inside the 2nd floor of the Ruinos Castle, the Monitor Room—its inside was rather vast.
The tiled floor was polished brightly, and a sofa set was placed in the middle of the room.
There was also a private bar counter against the wall just beside the door.
There were numerous wine bottles on the shelves, they were found amongst the pile of goods Allen obtained from the Divine Martial Continent, Mortal World, and God Continent.
There were even some fantastical item that wouldn't make anyone drunk and yet tastes better than a 30-year -old Scotts Whiskey' or someone so strong and delicious that with one sip, even those with quite a tolerance in alcohol would surely sprawl on the ground, drunk!
Of course, seeing this magnificent collection, Celty, Ling Tian and Li Lian who likes alcohol immediately busied themselves tasting everything—
The south side of the room was an entire wall of glass, and normally, this would allow for a wonderful view of the outside of the Ruinos Castle. But today, they couldn't enjoy the scenery.
That's because that glass wall could also become a large screen which was airing the scene reflected off the eye of a cute little serpent living machine.
Although the monitor was filled with static noise and seems to be full of moving ants and there were times where it caught an image. The image was reflecting the battle of Allen and another Monster King in some unknown world in which Laura called Allen’s Domain—Solheim!
Allen’s own personal world—
“…but as expected, the Celestial realm is full of monsters isn’t it?” Xue Ling was holding a glass cup that was full of sky-colored grape wine as she said that with a concerned tone.
“… …”
On her left, Layla then shot Laura a look.
“If Allen was always having a hard time here then, most people here would be real monsters…”

Hazelsong: A LitRPG Novel
Release Schedule: I will be moving to a set release schedule as of 1/1/2022. A new chapter will be released every Saturday at Noon EST. If I have time that week for a second chapter, I will leave a note on the Saturday chapter and post the second chapter on Sunday at Noon EST. An up to date character sheet for the MC Erik will also be posted on Sundays at 12:15 PM. If life happens and I am for some reason unable to write that week, I will post a blank chapter giving you an update on where I am with my writing. Saturday Noon EST: First weekly chapter Sunday Noon EST: Second weekly chapter (if I have the time) Sunday 12:15 EST: Updated character sheet Synopsis: Years after surviving a deadly accident, Erik struggles to come to terms with his painful disability. When offered the chance to playtest the world's first full immersion VRMMO, he wants nothing more than to retreat back into his secluded life, until he learns what Hazelsong really offers. An escape from the pain. Hazelsong is a world of magic and adventure, a place where friendships are formed, loot is won, and glory and fame are there for the taking. While the threats feel real and the stakes are always high, there is only one thing Erik is really in danger of. Forgetting which world is actually real. Story Themes: Hazelsong is a LitRPG novel that not only explores the fictional world of a realistic online fantasy realm but the life of a man suffering in silence from chronic pain and PTSD due to a significant physical injury and disability. Mental health is an important subject and we all know at least one person in our lives who has or is dealing with some form of mental illness. I plan on putting my best effort forward to represent these illnesses in a fair and accurate manner. Not as a cheap plot device to help make the protagonist more unique, but to help paint an accurate picture for those of us who have been lucky enough to not have to suffer in silence. About the Author: I am Ash Durra, general video game nerd and a connoisseur of fantasy and sci-fi of all shapes and sizes. Needless to say, I am not a professional author (B.S. and M.S. in Education, 8 years teaching). After really getting into LitRPG novels over the past several years, I found my way to Royal Road, which has inspired me to use my spare time to begin writing a story of my own creation. As this is a hobby, I am not writing and posting chapters on any kind of specific schedule at the moment, though my goal is to post on average 1-2 chapters a week. I am incredibly excited to share this story with others as I write it, and I look forward to any constructive feedback about how I can improve in my writing.

Iron and Wood - A Tale Of Empire and Clans
For centuries, the Midlands had been split into fragments. A once glorious, united Empire has become a shadow of its former self. Unity has not returned, and not for the lack of trying. The greatest of these successor states were the Li Dynasty to the south, the rulers of old, and the Emerald Empire to the North, with its vibrant vitality. Unity is the end goal, and both will sacrifice anything to attain this elusive dream. For unity would surely solve the conflict that had long plagued this once prosperous continent. The Ironwood Clan was a prime player. Some would consider them the ones holding the reigns to the horse named 'Unification'. Iron and wood were the backbones of civilization; similarly, the Ironwoods were the backbones of the Northern Empire, and by extension, the people of the Midlands. Their methods, as questionable as they might be, had strengthened the North. Yet, were they enough? In the midst of it all, a young Ironwood who had lost his path must once again find his way. For the sake of his own wellbeing; for the sake of his clan; and for the sake of the Empire and its subjects. However, is he willing to sacrifice for the good of all? Is he willing to condemn some for the sake of others? Is he willing to make the right, albeit harsh, decisions? Only the heavens would know. Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, events and incidents are the products of the author’s imagination. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. Additionally, any views and beliefs expressed by the characters are not the author's own. The story is also not an endorsement of any actions taken within. The 'profanity' and 'sexual content' warning tags are there to be safe (and to leave room for potential future changes), but for now these two things are not inside this novel. This is my take on 'cultivation', though it might be somewhat disconnected from the general idea of the genre. Release schedule: Two chapters a week. The cover was created using wombo art. While I believe that creations using the app are in the public domain, if that is not the case, I will take it down.

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
