Chapter 507: [ I abhor betrayal ]
“Hmm, I pick you lot because I saw promise… but what I abhor is betrayal. I say it again, I detest those who betrays me. And I will say it to all of you, all over again...because I really don't like it. And once you made a mistake, I would not hesitate to kill you without care."
"... ..."
"Betray me once and you will learn that even in death you wouldn’t be able to escape from me…” Allen muttered coldly as he stood before the seven newly acquired slaves.
This boss’s business was not small, the fact that he was capable of having so many powerful slaves, it was definitely an accomplishment.
Back in the shop, Allen saw several King and Emperor Ranked slaves… however, they were too old for Allen’s taste and some were even reeks of evil and wickedness. As long as they are not that powerful as long as Allen can see potential in them and that they can be trusted, he would choose them.
Even a rough gem can be polished to become beautiful. But a stone? It's a waste of time and effort!
“Now stripped…” Allen muttered.
Seeing the dumbfounded expression on everyone’s eyes, Allen has the urge to laugh.
“Ma, master… that’s…” Yang Qingyu’s face paled. Does he have such interest?
More like, did she choose wrong...?
As Yang Qingyu was starting to doubt her choice, suddenly--
“Just kidding…” Allen chuckled in amusement. He walked towards the slaves. “Yang Qingyu…”
“Y, yes…?” shivering in fear, Yang Qingyu stepped forward.
Allen’s lips curled upwards and then a small dagger materializes in his hand. Cutting his palm with it, blood dripped on the ground. With his hand covered with his blood, he grabbed Yang Qingyu’s thin cloth and exposed her chest, startling the woman. But before she could retreat backward, Allen’s hand shot forward and in the left chest, a magic circle made by Allen’s blood was formed in just a matter of seconds.
Yang Jiaoyao was terrified for her sister and immediately rushed forward, not caring about her status anymore and was about to save her sister from Allen's hands but, behind her, Laura had already appeared. Bang! Laura’s hand shot forth and smashes her head on the ground!
"Stand down!" Laura frowned and the strength in her hand increased.
“Stop! Don’t hurt my sister!!” Yang Jiaoyao struggled, ignoring the pain and blood in her head, she pleaded.
Her usual indifferent and cold expression turning into that of desperation and fear.
Fear not for her but for her sister…!
She seems to be having a misunderstanding and was crying out like, 'I'll do what you want!' and 'Please have mercy' or something along those lines. However, Allen ignored her play. He stared at Yang Qingyu who felt her body stiffened, not from fear or anything but from an external source. It was probably Allen's doing, or so Yang Qingyu concluded as she felt her chest palpitating. It's as if a deer was stamping widely inside of her!
A cold chill crawl on her spine.
Her lips trembled as if wanting to say something but couldn't, she stared at Allen, terrified and shock.
Allen, on the other hand, was staring at her with his usual smile and harmless expression.
“From now on, your life is mine…!”
He muttered and his hand made several strange hand seals.
In the next moment, the blood magic circle on Yang Qingyu’s chest glowed brightly and the drop of blood on her chest seemed to have gradually seeped into her skin, like water into a sponge. And it then slowly moved through her blood vessels and fused inside her heart.

"Kyaaaaaahhhh!!"
A massive pain surges through Yang Qingyu, causing her to shriek in pain.
She fell down; clutching her chest and her face was pallid.
Fortunately, they were in a secluded alley and Rebellion had already cast a silencing barrier. If not, they would surely have attracted quite an attention from the woman’s scream. And a strange situation might occur!
“Please, please don’t hurt my sister! I will do anything you want, please!!” Yang Jiaoyao cried out hysterically.
She struggled to stand up but Laura was holding her down with an annoyed expression. She sneered and the strength behind her hand increased, causing the pretty face of Yang Jiaoyao to be pasted on the dirty floor.
The commotion she was making irritated Allen. He cast a glance at her; “Take your brain in a gutter…” Allen said with a frown. “I’m not killing your sister, the pain is only momentarily…” As he saying that, Allen crouched in front of Yang Qingyu and took the collar from her neck.
This is already unnecessary…
When his hand made contact with the leather, a black mist suddenly appeared from the leather and dispersed in the air. Magic Curse like this is easy for Allen to undo.
Indeed, after a few minutes, Yang Qingyu’s screams slowly stopped. Her face was still pale as a sheet of paper but there were no signs of pain anymore…
She then looked at Allen with a misty gaze…
Allen smiled innocently and patted the woman’s hair.
“Mas, master…? What is…” Yang Qingyu gritted her teeth and raised her hand with difficulty, erasing the blood on the corner of her mouth. She then looked at Allen with an aghast, yet also fearful expression.
“The collar that you have, is similar to the curse that Sun Wukong had gotten as a punishment by Lady Guanyin, making her go on a journey to the west with the longevity monk…” Allen smiled warmly and the continued; “It’s almost the same with this collar, but I don't like such design. So I gave you another curse to replace this collar. However, mine is a bit different… much superior. It completely rules over your life. If you dare to betray my orders and intentions, as long as I will it, your heart will explode and you’ll die a tragic death directly. And in addition, even if you betrayed and died, your soul will stay with me… for my use for eternity…”
"W, what?" Yang Qingyu asked in shock. the people behind her also felt their bodies shivered.
Yang Qingyu suddenly had the feeling of her life force being controlled by another. She now realized that she could even “see” the situation inside her own body.
It was an extremely strange phenomenon.
She could even see the magic circle littered with bloody archaic runes above her heart that was more bright and colorful than her own heart.
“This is…?!”
However, that was not what caught her attention.
Yang Qingyu slowly felt the unusualness and the abnormality of her body. Even though she couldn’t move at present, she could clearly feel that an amazing and mysterious power was bursting out from the blood.
Yes, a strange yet warm power that flowed through her veins and into every part of her body.
This sudden transformation caused her to be quite confused and bewildered, then turned into shock and then a pleasant surprise!
Inside her body, a layer of glimmering luster slowly gushed out from the blood vessels and was integrated into her internal organs, fusing into her muscles and tendons, and then finally settling in the bones.

Her constitution was getting stronger. Her sense was also becoming bright.
The Archaic runes were somehow miraculously transforming her into something else, something stronger, something more powerful...
Yang Qingyu came back to her senses, the complicated expression suffusing her eyes slowly disappearing as it was then replaced by admiration and worship. She looked at her new master.
It seems like she gambled correctly!
Allen grinned but his voice remained indifferent, “You can feel it now? Like I told you, I will give benefits if you become my person. Likewise, the benefits you can have later are far more than this. If you follow me, I won’t treat you badly,” he then raised his head and stared at the stunned slaves in front of him. even the usual cold and expressionless Yang Jiaoyao stared at Allen with a dumbfounded expression.
“… …” Allen's lips curled upwards. "Now then, your turn..."
... ...
Afterward, the other six people had suffered the same thing as Yang Qingyu. In the next moment, all of them were lying on the ground, panting heavily. However, their expressions were full of life and satisfaction.
Seeing them like this, Allen nodded, satisfied.
“Laura,”
“Yes, master…” Laura responded cheerfully.
“Take these people with you and return to the castle. Bring them to the library… they should be able to find some good cultivation method and techniques there…”
The Castle wasn’t just a luxurious spirit gathering array but also, the items and books found within the Castle were also top grades—Allen was even confident that if ever he wanted to build a Martial Sect, he would only need to gather people and do it easily. Although not probably as huge as the Passing Cloud Sect’s treasures but that Castle was almost half of its worth compared to the entire Sect.
In addition, with his own understanding and abilities, he can create several high-level techniques and manuals as long as he wanted it. What's more important was that [Ruinos Castle] was mobile and can be easily pocketed by him. Hence if ever he wanted it, he has the capacity to create a large faction anytime, anywhere.
That was also the reason why he had managed to gather those few geniuses such as the prideful Xie Fang and the others. He not only subdued them using his power but also using the Castle’s treasures…
—Though, in Xie Fang’s case, he was actually far easier to subdue compared to others. Just giving him a heavenly treasured sword, his tail would immediately wag in front of you like a loyal dog--of course, he has his own honor and pride but as long as you can convince him, he would surely become a loyal friend!
That is why the [Ruinos Castle] was considered to be a Heavenly Treasure…!
If people know about it, they would surely scamper around him just to steal it from him… though it’s not like he really cared about it.
Whoever comes will only be called as suicidal idiots…!
[Ruinos Castle] is a sentient treasure, it chooses its owner!
It's a [Living Item]!
“Master… from what I know, there are also some evil cultivation methods there…” Laura asked worriedly.
Allen nodded his head without a care. “It’s fine… they can choose whether they wanted to continue cultivating the Evil Path or convert into the Righteous path… I don’t want to be seen as nagging, only people themselves know what path they wanted to take or compatible with them. If they choose the wrong path, in the end, I’ll just pluck them out before they could do anything…” Allen shrugged his shoulders.
Allen believed in the doctrine that nothing is evil or good from the start. It's similar to how a bad workman blames his tools. As long as cultivators have their own morals and principles, being an evil cultivator isn't a mistake!
Various situation and circumstances drive people to do them, it's not something they can be blamed with.
Abhor the sin not the sinner--of course, this depends. But in that aspect, Allen wasn't that picky~
“They should know what’s best for them… cultivators are best free than being babysitted…”
“I understand, master!” Laura nodded firmly.
“Ah right, don’t let them enter the treasury for now… let them focus on cultivation… Ah, right… there should ranks among techniques and methods right? if I remember correctly, there should be high ranking manuals there so let them choose only one for those… let them start in the very bottom first..”
“Yes, master…!”
After talking, Allen turned his attention towards Lu Qingling who was staying quiet all this time. Although she seemed to be undisturbed but anyone can see her face losing some colors. Feeling Allen’s gaze, Lu Qingling’s body trembled. She bit her lips and raised her head, staring at Allen’s eyes directly.
“Qingling, you know what would happen between us if you say anything to other people as to what had occurred here, right?” Allen smiled warmly.
A blatant threat.
Lu Qingling’s face instantly turns pale. She nodded her head like a chicken pecking for grain.
“Excellent…” Allen’s lips broke into a meaningful smile. “Qingling, I abhor betrayal… I valued loyalty the most. I hope that I can believe in you…”
“I, I didn’t see anything…! I promise…” Lu Qingling stared at Allen with a tearful expression. She was now regretting the fact that she volunteered herself to undertake this kind of task!
Pei! Who cares if his handsome! If he's this demonic, she wouldn't care and run away the moment she saw him from far away!
But now, it's too late!
She thought that Allen, in which her Master valued the most, was a good person and might even reward her a bit. But… what good person… bah! He looks like a Demon King!!
He looks harmless but at this moment even a blind can see his real character…!
Evil… too evil!
Lu Qingling have the urge to cry.
Allen smiled as he turned around and walked passed through the groaning slaves. With Rebellion following behind him, he exited the Silencing Barrier. However, unexpectedly, what awaited Allen and the others was…
“Master!!?”
… Grand Elder Flower Spirit; Ouyang Yishuang. Along with her were the Venerable Passing and some disciples.
Seeing them, Allen’s eyebrows twitched. Careless… since there were many people around the buzzing street, Allen didn’t really put much effort into sensing people but…
Allen felt like cursing but he still retained his serene expression. A grim fire jumped about inside his eyes as the corners of his mouth curled into a cold smile.
“This is a surprise,” Allen cupped his fists. “Greeting Elder Yishuang, Venerable…”
“This lowly servant greets the Grand Master…”
“Young Lord, this old man greets you as well…” Venerable Passing stared at Allen meaningfully.
Allen sighed. “So, do you need anything from me? Venerable?” When Allen says that, Rebellion and even Laura who had noticed the sudden situation appeared behind Allen, their expressions cold. Both women released their auras simultaneously.
Venerable Passing smiled faintly. “Relax, we’re not planning anything… we only came here because we receive news that the young lord came out to play…”
“… …”
“Grand Elder Yishuang can vouch for that… you can’t possibly doubt her, am I right?” Venerable Passing smiled mischievously.
“Was that so?” Allen shrugged. “My bad then… ah right, I think I haven’t yet to properly give my thanks for accepting us… thank you Venerable.”
“No need, no need… as long as the young lord don’t cause trouble within the Sect, then, of course, we will not reject those who wanted asylum…”
“Then be at ease… Venerable. We just want to stay here for a while. You can rest assured that we don’t mean anything harm… Grand Elder Yishuang can vouch for me. She should understand Maria as much as me…” Allen countered back.
I always had my own set of rules:
If someone does not offend me, then I will not offend them!
… But if someone offends me, then I will return it tenfold, a hundredfold, or even a thousand fold!
—Allen’s eyes seemed to be saying as such. His attitude remained carefree but Ouyang Yishuang and Venerable Passing felt an invisible pressure in front of them.
