Chapter 479: [ Malicious Intention ]

Si Mulan felt the pressure of this atmosphere and glanced at her surroundings.

Most of the people on the platform were gathering in groups of two or three. The only exceptions were the younger generations of some large clans and Si Mulan who wanted to isolate herself. "Everyone, quiet now." The elder hollered out the moment they had reached the entrance of the forest and his voice echoed throughout the crowd and everyone immediately hushed.

"These rings of light are the teleportation arrays that are also the doorways that will bring you inside the Labyrinth." Another Elder added while pointing at the five rings of light with a meter radius.

"Elder, is every teleportation array the same?"

"They are all the same, they will randomly send you to a location, of course, all within the 1st domain. Alright, spread out now, don't crowd around and choose which array you want to enter from."

After the Elder finished talking, everyone rushed forward to the arrays.

Although the Elders had explained beforehand that everything was random and chances were all similar, they still felt that entering faster would still be a key factor in securing the best location. Soon, some people had already disappeared upon activating the teleportation array.

When the other people saw this, they got more excited and soon everyone was rushing forward in a frenzy.

Si Mulan was also forced to move forward and she was shoved and nudged and soon found herself close to the innermost array.

However, something strange happened.

Si Mulan observed the five teleportation arrays and she learned that whenever it was activated, it would give a faint golden light but, when she entered the array, it suddenly glow a faint red light. That was then, she realized something was wrong! Even her body trembled and when she was about to scream to notify the Elders, her body was swallowed by a crimson colored light.

The Elders didn’t notice the strangeness, after all, there were many students that were rushing in the teleportation array and they had already inspected it to make sure nothing unexpected happened. As for the other students, they cared less. They don’t know Si Mulan much less knowing the color of teleportation array was a fixed golden color.

...except to one person...

Xiao Mengqi had been outside the teleportation arrays all this while, standing at the guard formation but when she saw the flash of red light, she had a bad premonition.

She immediately called one of the Elder and asked: "Why is the sixth teleportation array activated?"

“Sixth Teleportation Array? No, that can’t be possible! All of the teleportation arrays was set in the 1st domain.” One of the Elders denied while shaking his head. He was smiling wryly as if saying, 'What is this gal talking about?'

“Do you think I’m blind…!??” Xiao Mengqi roared in anger. The Elder jumped back in fright.

The commotion immediately attracted the other people’s attention but when they saw Xiao Mengqi scolding one of the Elders, they just thought it was probably nothing of their concern and continued.

Xiao Mengqi glared at the Elder. “Check it immediately! Teleportation array goes by colors. Golden is for the first Domain, Blue is for the second, Green is for the third, Purple is for the fourth, Silver is for the Fifth and lastly, Crimson is for the Sixth—and I just saw a crimson light for god sake!”

“But that is impossible…”

“I said, check it, you damn moron!!” Xiao Mengqi roared in anger.

“Y, yes…!!” The Elder immediately scattered away and dived into the sea of people.

As for Xiao Mengqi, she frowned as she saw the direction where she had seen a faint crimson light. In fact, it wasn’t that noticeable but she was always looking out for Si Mulan and then she accidentally saw a faint crimson light for a moment—though she hopes that it was just her imagination.

If not, she would certainly need to give an explanation for Si Louxi—if something happened to Mulan, that woman might rush here and wreak havoc… damn it!!

What is going on here!!?

Once set, the Teleportation Array can’t possibly cause any mistake…

Si Mulan felt her surroundings disappear and felt light headed and her mind go blank. Before she could gather her thoughts, she felt her body land softly on the ground. Her eyes were blurred for a moment, and when the vision of her eyes resumed, Si Mulan discovered that she was already in the middle of an unfamiliar environment.

"Urghh! Damn it! What was that all about!!?" She got up and dusted herself as she surveyed her surroundings. Luckily she had landed on a thick bed of leaves that cushioned her fall.

"Damn it, dare to scheme against me?! Hmph! You better not let me find you or else!" She swore in the air angrily. She was now certain that she was certainly schemed against as the moment the teleportation array emitted a dazzling red light, Si Mulan quickly turned her body around and was surprised to see Lan Ling ‘er looking at her with eyes filled with hatred and grinning maliciously.

"You…!' However, before she had the chance to say anything else. She had already disappeared into the red light.

That damn girl! So she also picks Passing Cloud Sect?!

Lan Ling ‘er… the heaven child of the Lan Family, one of the eight great families alongside her Si family. Their families had always been a rival, always competing against each other—of course, that same goes with her and that damn B*tch!!
