Chapter 470: [ The Winner in the End… is who? ]
Shoo!
Allen’s feet lightly touched the air, before flying backward, avoiding the claws.
“No one could—unless they fight and see the end! There, one would see who the truly weak and strong was!”
“But if there is no fighting, there is only one thing to do—If you think you are weak, then set your sights higher…if you are strong, then aim to be even stronger—there is no such thing as weak remains as weak and be the food of the strong! But if you are satisfied by your current standing, then that shows that you’re the real weak one!!”
“…!?”
“That is how you determine who the weak were—!! That is because; it means you having no future. You might as well become the food just like what you speak off—!! You have no choice but to fade away and die…!!”
“You wish for a fantasy, you worthless ant!!” Hanjin’s claws seemed like they were tearing something up in the air, his blazing claws formed by his magic power shot out in the air, the blazing sharp claws spread out the stage.
“What? Didn’t agree what I had said…?” Allen sneered as he shifted, leaving an afterimage. He dodged the sharp claws made of flames of Hanjin and rushed towards him.
“You think that you are strong—? No! You are the one who was weak! Because of the fear from the Monster King of Cheery Slaughter you hide in this hell hole yourself not daring to leave—what? If that didn’t show how weak you are, then what was it?” Allen muttered coldly.
He had extracted a part of Hanjin’s soul and so, he of course learned the reason why Hanjin didn’t dare to leave the Blood Desert Oasis even though he was a Monster King nor did he did anything flashy like starting a war against humans and conquering the nearby territory—giving him one of the smallest territories among Monster Kings and instead pledge an oath of non-conflict with the other humans. That is because; the Monster King Hanjin needed the human city as a wall of protection against other Monster Kings, especially the abnormal Monster King of Cheery Slaughter.
Because of an ancient covenant with Monster Kings and the God Clans—they dare not attack a civilization unless it wasn’t their territory or other Monster King’s territory, not involving them in their inner conflicts.
Hanjin’s face soured, he yelled with anger: “Shut your mouth, ant…and die!!”
Halfway through, Allen lowered his body, his right hand was on his sword handle as his gaze on Hanjin sharpened.
Ten steps away!
Six steps!
Five steps!
A sword light shot out between the onslaught of fire attacks and fiery claws like an eel traveling through the gaps between rocks.
“Iai Ougi—Moon Fang!!” Woosh. A silver crescent like a moon shot out from Allen’s slash and then flew towards Hanjin.
Sometimes, the simplest martial art was the most powerful one because of the lack of flaws.
The crescent-shaped sword light had not reached Hanjin yet he could already feel it. The sword light gave him a chilly pressure that gave him goosebumps.
But he was still confident in his defense right now as he was now Hell Magma Beast!
Controlling his emotion, he yelled out with anger: “Not enough!”
Boom!
The air vibrated. Space seemed to twist one meter around Hanjin because of the hot temperature emitted from his body, causing Allen’s crescent-shaped sword light be repelled with a Clang! it then disappeared, only leaving a half meter sword cut on his. But it slowly disappeared when the flames burned stronger.

Allen frowned before he hurried to back out.
Hanjin sneered and said with great confidence: “With my Magma Defense, all your attacks are useless.”
“We’re not done yet!” Allen frowned.
“You can’t escape from me, brat! I will certainly kill you and devour you!!!” Hanjin’s tiger face distorted in fury and murderous intent!
He had planned to kill with his magma beast form. He had that much confidence in his ultimate skill and yet he never expected Allen to be this difficult. Allen was fast like a frightened deer, leaving no trace.
This really hurt his pride and now, when Allen snatches a part of his soul, he doesn’t know what he had done but still—a piece of his soul was missing. This kind of power couldn’t be recovered after a few years and this really makes him angry!!
Boooom!!!
Hanjin was once again forced to move back with a very ugly expression on his face. Even though he had only made a step back, he was a Peak Mid God Monster King and he was wildly arrogant and presumptuous. He even said before that Allen wouldn’t be able to survive for long in front of him. Yet each Allen’s attack seemed quicker than the last and Allen had even forced him to a disadvantage.
This is really slapping him in the face!
He could no longer contain his fury at the humiliation he had suffered.
*** ***
Seeing that the pestering bug in front of him was getting annoying as time passed by, Hanjin’s eyes glowed in a crimson light as it roared angrily at the heavens.
The situation was in the process of changing. At this moment, the Tiger King suddenly changed the direction it was flying in.
Typically the wings of a bird would be affected by wind but Hanjin’s movements transcended common sense. Mana could control gravity, allowing it to accelerate quickly. Its acceleration overcame the limits of the laws of physics.
Rather than heading towards the ground at a reasonable speed, Hanjin plummeted down at a 90-degree angle... circling around, towards Allen.
The Tiger King somersaulted and aimed at Allen with its left claw.
“Roooaaaaarrrr!!!”
Seeing this moment, Allen immediately activated his other abilities to further improve his defense.
"Bone Armor!" He muttered. In an instant, His whole body was immediately covered with white bones as if it was an armor. His slender and delicate-looking hand began to be covered in bones and formed into a bone-like gauntlet.
"Aaaaahhhh!!"
Taking advantage of his sudden growth of strength, Allen throws a full-powered punch to reach a conclusion.
“Gah!!!”
“Wha!!”
The Tiger King and Allen rallied each other and were both surprised at the weight of the opponent’s blow. However, the Tiger King was only slightly surprised for a moment and started to get serious.
Instinctively, Allen flew back and retreated from his previous position. However, despite Allen’s display of perfect adaption in the sudden change in events, he was still one step too late.
“Pest….”
Allen did not have the capability to dodge as the Tiger King’s very sharp claws was almost before him, when, “Shinra Tensei!!!” Bang!!! An invisible shockwave hit the Tiger King’s body in point-blank range—sending him flying by the searing energy wave.
Hanjin coughed out blood from his mouth unceasingly due to the sudden impact.
The fierce pain couldn’t help but make Hanjin to breathe hardly for a bit. "Gaha-!"

Rooooaaarrr!! Suddenly, Hanjin stopped and glared at Allen. Hate and fury appeared at his pair of eyes.
Seeing this, Allen’s charge suddenly halted and a bad premonition struck him.
“You’re too late, Human King!” Hanjin spoke with a cold but mocking voice. You’re too late to notice and so, you shall die!!” After speaking, he opened his mouth wide.
Inside his mouth, which was strewn with huge fangs, an incredible amount of magical power began to accumulate and compress. Under the compression, the mana began to distort space, and the air took on an unreal and strange appearance.
This was Hanjin’s all-out attack. He doesn’t care about the damage he would cause within his Dimension as his only goal was to kill Allen. To destroy…to obliterate him!!
Thus, he was gathering enough energy for a while ago—and making Allen never noticed it!
“Indeed, this is the end…!” Hanjin laughing voice echoed in the entire dimension.
For the pain, he had suffered, for the loss of power and most of all, for the humiliation…!!
He would destroy Allen at all cost!!
Sensing the bestial killing intent of absolute destruction, chills ran through Allen’s body.
He had a premonition of certain death.
If he did not move instantly, he would die.
And even if he did try to escape, his death was still extremely likely.
“Damn It!!” In an instant, Allen summoned his Grimoire and those who were watching the battle from the ground, such as Qin and the others, they immediately returned to the Grimoire world. This battle right now—was the real, do or die!!
Hanjin has not stopped anymore—this time he let himself consumed in anger and hatred, becoming a monster that desires destruction and death. He doesn’t care about fancy attacks anymore—at this moment, all his attacks got nothing to do with glamor.
He was now just a wild beast that only knows how to brandish his claws and fangs…!!
As Allen was preparing to meet Hanjin’s attack head-on, Hanjin approached from directly ahead and let out a loud roar.
ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR
It was a voice so loud it made even the air around them tremble. It was intense enough to make Allen instinctively flinch.
The movement of the atmosphere, the sounds… even time has stopped…
Here it comes…
"... ...."
Holding the sword with an extremely sad expression, Allen stared at the incoming plasma-like breath and sighed.
This attack was different from the previous Hanjin had made, as though that was merely a joke.
It was impossible to stop it anymore, much less completely parry the blow with just his current power.
With just the power in Allen’s hand, he was too weak to contend against it…
What should he do…?!
This was always the kind of weakness he had hated.
I can’t lose!!
He never liked being weak compared to someone.
I can’t lose like this!
“——I have to get stronger,”
Allen whispered after wetting his dry lips and shaking his head clear.
He thought that he had already achieved that and had become stronger than anyone else. And yet, after coming to this world—he had realized it was still not enough…!!
“……I want to become stronger than anyone else…… Stronger than anything else in this world…… That’s my only wish.”
I can’t lose NOW!!!!
“What? Have you lost your mind from fear?” It’s as if he had heard a voice from someone within his mind. Then, suddenly, Allen’s lips flashed a grin.
“...!?”
There was an icy feeling, on his left hand.
If you want, then die by yourself—never involve us in your pathetic ending—!!
Allen felt the surrounding temperature drop even lower even though it was already low.
Suddenly, mysterious ripple appeared in the void. Then, behind him, an image slowly came into being. An enormous throne was visible, seated upon which was a youth whose face could not be seen.
“I never called for you—“
Don’t get the wrong idea that I intended to save you! This was just a coincidence—my poor little Lime is panicking over here—you’re really useless, aren’t you? And you say that you’re the ‘real’ one? Really absurd…
“Bastard…!”
Don’t just suddenly cursed at me—I also don’t want this, anyway we have a truce for now so might as well help save my life a bit~ you heard me, my life…!!
As the voice spoke, in the left part of Allen’s face, a skull mask made up of ice or crystal—probably both—suddenly appeared, covering the entire left part of his face. In the glossy silver colored ice skull mask's eye socket, a thick white flame lighted up.
At this same moment, the seemingly endless volcanic forest tremble and then… one by one, the hills and trees suddenly sank down an entire inch, as if they were being pushed down by some incredible force.
Closing his eyes, two voices overlapped and then coolly said, “Heavens render—life fleeting as clouds. I hate bastards and idiots but what I hate the most—are those who hurt my family!!”
As soon as Allen spoke the words, a roaring filled his head. His body shook, and the air around him twisted and filled with fissures. Everything dimmed, and an invisible whirlpool instantly sprang up around him. As it rotated, it gave rise to an enormous hurricane.
Allen’s body was seemingly filled with distortions.
Intense, pulsing pain overwhelmed him.
He had never imagined that merging would be… so painful!
His body felt as if it were being forcibly fused together after being ripped apart.
Wave after wave of power surged through him at indescribable speed, rapidly increasing in intensity.
The massive thunderclouds began to rotate to form a vortex. Shocking rumbling filled the air. If this scene could be painted onto a canvas, anyone who looked at it would never be able to forget it.
A massive boom rocked everything above and below.
The lightning descended, causing a shocking roar to fill the sky. As if a golden dragon was dancing above the dark clouds, thunderous roars echoed in the entire Dimension, shaking the ground and sky alike.
Fuuuu— Allen took a deep breath, like a dragon inhaling, and the power around him poured into his eyes, ears, nose, and mouth, as well as all the pores in his body.
Put life and death on the line!
End the opponent to assure your own existence!
Death to all who go against the Frozen Throne…
