Chapter 468: [ Monster King Duel (Finale part2) ]
Allen’s awareness was extremely high, he immediately felt danger. However, he didn’t stop his attack and instead, his lips curled into a cold smile. Hanjin who was expecting his victory overlook Allen’s expression and continued his attack.
--In the instant Allen twisted his body in an unbelievable manner for a human, Hanjin witnessed Allen twisted his waist to strike the sword horizontally repeatedly with his sword.
"Haha, what an unexpected move!"
Hanjin was happily laughing away, not even showing a single shred of fear in the face of this nonsensical preemptive strike. All according to plan!
“You really do surprise me, every time… brat! But, that that wouldn’t be enough to win against me!”
“Is it?”
Bang!! Hanjin’s claw and Allen’s Rebellion clashed mid-air. Their collision caused a ripple-like a wave through the air and the creature standing underneath them suddenly felt a pushing force, blasting them away till a few meters before crashing into the ground and trees.
Snow white light like fire wrapped the blade of Rebellion and took the form of a silvery snow blade wrapped in flames. Not just his blade that is wrapped in flames, even at the helm of his clothes has thick white flames in them. One can even see a beautiful silhouette behind him, glaring like a war god.
When the claw and the sword’s blade clashed, in an instant, Hanjin felt a very hot burning sensation even though he was a firebeast, with magma and flame armor. It was burning sensation that was unbearable to any normal beasts but surprisingly, his claw neither burned but was frozen solid.
“You will die today! And I will devour your flesh!” Hanjin roared as he pushed his claws at Allen.
“Keep talking, it might be your last!!” Allen snorted.
When the shadow appeared behind him, Allen felt a dangerous feeling and when the shadow finally thrust its claws on his back, Allen coldly muttered; “Shinra… Tensei…!!” Allen’s right eye revolved and the red colored draconic eyes turned into a strange ripple pattern.
BOOM!!
“Wha—!!?”
Before Hanjin could understand what had happened, invisible waves blew Hanjin and his double away forcefully. Afterward, Allen’s figure disappeared only to reappear towards the direction of where Hanjin’s double was flying. Allen raised his hand and Hanjin’s double immediately felt a pulling strength and before it could struggle free, Allen’s hand had already grabbed its head.
“What are you—!!?” Hanjin’s double exclaimed in shock.
Allen’s lips curled upward, “Kyūkon no Jutsu!!” ( Absorption Soul Technique ) he muttered with a cold smile. And with Allen pulling his hand back, something transparent also came along. It was translucent but the appearance certainly looks like a tiger.
Since he still unable to summon the King of Hell, Allen has no storage for souls…of course, apart from his soul orb…!
The Soul Orb has 10 soul capacities and now that he had already used the Banshee’s soul, it had gone back into 10 slots once again. The Tiger soul that seemed to be howling and struggling was then absorbed by the soul orb. As for Hanjin’s Double physical body, the flames and magma around it cooled down and then, slowly broke into pieces!

Like a being made of brick and clay, it disintegrated into a dirt and vanish into thin air.
All of this was seen by Hanjin who was struck dumb. “You bastard!! What did you do!!” He cried out in anger and hatred. Normally, if his double died, the piece of soul he had used to create it would only return to him, healing his scarred soul but now—nothing actually returned!
And because of it, Hanjin felt the backlash of losing a piece of soul and his power was reduced significantly.
He had even felt as if his mind was torn apart.
Allen dusted his hand and smiled coldly at Hanjin. Using the Human Path of his Rinnegan, he can extract and then read the mind of any target… however, sadly, with Hanjin’s power and level, Allen was impossible to use it on him. When one levels up and become a powerhouse, their souls will also grow and become stronger. Grabbing that out from a very powerful monster was impossible for the current him.
It was also the same for him, right now his Soul Essence was just in an infant stage and extremely weak—if someone with the same kind of ability appeared in front of him, with power equal or stronger than him, his soul would certainly be plucked out so easily like plucking flowers on the roadside.
However, Hanjin did a very idiotic action. He actually split his soul apart to create a double—thus, unlike the main soul, the soul in Hanjin’s double was extremely weak and Allen can easily extract it!
With it, Allen actually found some useful memories and information. Soul Core—the information was quite vague but Allen can deduce as much. Hanjin created this Dimension using his soul core and as for that core—unless one can destroy it, Hanjin’s power will easily restore as long as he was inside it.
The problem is… Allen only knows that the Soul Core isn’t in his body but somewhere in this dimension—as for that place, Allen didn’t know.
‘Well, it would sooner or later appear… nothing is infinite—it was bound to weaken eventually and if that happens, just like other beings, that soul core would create a fluctuation. Just that moment is enough; I can pinpoint it when that happens…’
Allen’s lips smiled coldly.
“You bastard!! I’m going to kill you!!!”
Hanjin’s blood colored eyes turned even bloodier.
As the flames on Hanjin’s body intensified his body continuously reconstructed and evolved in the flames, the air around him suddenly shook with tremors. His body that looked like an Elephant in size originally had become more solid and firm, its muscles rippled as its bones underwent an evolution due to intense anger. He then slowly expanded and grew to become gigantic. The flames, as well as the blazed magma on his body, burned intensely as the size of his body grew twice of his former size. Afterward, Hanjin rushed towards Allen in a crazed manner.
ROOOOOOAAARRR!!!
Hanjin had fallen into a crazed anger and this caused him to stimulate the air around him with his movements due to the raging fluctuation of mana. The pain of losing a piece of his soul was like your mind being torn apart forcefully. The pain suffered from it can’t be explained just by words—however, it was truly painful!!

And this pain caused his anger to overflow, losing his calm. Thus, he had unknowingly fallen into a trap.
After losing his cool, he had lost the genuine edge of a Peak Mid God…
As they say, when losing their self in anger, even a powerful person will become just a wild beast!
When he was like this, Allen could sense the direction of attacks... even if he had closed his eyes and his ears…
Calmly, Allen watched Hanjin speeding towards him in a rage and raised his sword and slashed. Needless to say, his right arm was shining with the silver brilliance of course.
A direct chop like the act of splitting firewood.
Woooosh. A wide arc of light shot from the blade of the sword.
Clank clank…!! The arc of light slashed at Hanjin’s body, creating a clear sound in midair. However, the flashing slashes only left a number of crimson scars. These crimson scars were present for a short moment before they disappeared. It didn’t do anything at all with Hanjin’s defense.
Seeing Allen’s useless attacks, Hanjin shot himself at Allen. As for Allen, he flapped his wings and fly backward, evading the enraged Hanjin.
Hanjin’s eyes had become round in a glare while claws and tail moved like the wind as he launched relentless attacks one after another. He had even conjured numerous flame spears, whips and fireballs at Allen, wanting to slice him apart or tear him to pieces!
However, Allen’s body seemed like cotton as it floated free and unhindered in the air. And, the sword on his hand, moved as freely as the wind as he attacked back.
Allen’s abilities and foresight allowed him to avoid Hanjin’s crazed devastating attacks even if he hadn’t made a breakthrough to the Mid God realm.
Due to his enraged mind and bestial instincts taking over, he had been reduced to relying on brute force without a cunning mind. His attack slowly becoming predictable!
Hanjin seemed to be attacking in a wild frenzy. Kill! Kill! Kill! His mind was filled with the thoughts of killing and destroying Allen.
“Ha ha ha, what wonderful sight you are giving, Hanjin!”
“Shut up!!!”
“Ha ha, what do you say we finish this?” Allen smiled like a child. “Will your claws tear me to pieces or will my sword, slice you apart!” his sword made a wonderful arc in the air, pointing it at Hanjin who was still rushing like a mad beast at him.
“Let’s go at it till there’s nothing left!!”
“Zeeeeeeeeeeiii!!!!”
“Aaaaaahhhh!!”
*** ***
Allen’s body issued a hissing sound and his black windbreaker that had a hue of silver due to the thick white flames covering his body, fluttered in the air as his body sped up in an instant.
He then changed directions three times in the blink of an eye. After that, he shot forward like a demon. Then, he quickly looped and retreated, and stationed himself around fifteen meters away—all this time, successfully evading Hanjin’s relentless assault while at the same time, attacking at the three of Hanjin’s loopholes in this process.
Hanjin’s defense was truly amazing and incredible one couldn’t help but be awed.
Bang! Booom! Bang!! Booom!!
Allen’s silhouette moved and dodged Hanjin’s killing attacks. In fact, his movements were so quick that he left after-images in his wake. The attack pressed down and crushed the image that had still remained where Allen had stood a moment ago.
Drawing a curve in the sky, Allen’s figure flickered and then appeared just beside Hanjin. He was getting closer to the magma demonic tiger so he could attack, while at the same time making it hard for it to use its flame attacks.
“Grrrrrr.... get away, you pest!!” Hanjin responded by turning his head and opening his mouth once more. He was planning on frying Allen before he could get close.
Amidst this beautiful scene, “Eat this!!” Allen slashed his sword downward and instantly strong shock waves ran down his arm and shot out from his hand, aimed directly at Hanjin’s chest.
Hanjin parried Allen’s sword with his claws but suddenly, ice and snow started whirling together in the air as if they were dancing. Then, for some reason, the flames in Hanjin’s body dimmed down and his movements somewhat slowed. Taking this opportunity, Allen did not stop and repeatedly thrust his sword towards his opponent.
Allen’s sword; Rebellion, was whistling through the air and thunderous roars were still increasing within the atmosphere. Allen was standing in the air as firmly as a mountain without taking a step backward. His sword looked like a ferocious dragon which called forth a violent thunderstorm.
ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!
However, Hanjin quickly recovered and swung his giant blazing claws towards him. The attack produced by that 20-meter giant was as powerful as a car smashing into something at high speed. That attack that would certainly destroy even a normal Lesser Deity if it hit approached him from the front.
Allen hurriedly flew back, his body flickered like a ghost, avoiding Hanjin’s attack.
Due to Allen’s incredible lightning-like speed and agility, Hanjin temporarily lost sight of him. In order to regain his sight, Hanjin shook his large tiger head. During that time, Allen was able to approach the dragon.
With Hanjin’s wild instincts, of course, he had sensed Allen’s approach and grinned while sending a massive fireball that looked like a meteorite.
However,
“Sorry, that handsome guy is a fake.”
However, the moment those giant fireballs touched ‘Allen’, he vanished as if he was a mirage. At the same time, a second Allen appeared from behind Hanjin and aimed for the demonic tiger’s neck.
The first Allen was nothing but a clone made from a jutsu. And while Hanjin was distracted by the fake, Allen got behind the monster king and swung his sword.
“Haaaaaaaaaaah!”
Allen raised his sword with his full force, struck Hanjin’s neck. However, his sword merely bounced off as if it had crashed into a wall.

Super Sekken (An Action Shonen Story)
This is the author’s first story ever written. It may not be great, but do check it out, and I hope you enjoy! I’m currently working on its sequel. Hope. Courage. Self-value. Friends. These all were traits that former junior high soccer champion and first year Miyuki Sekken had none of until she first walked into the doors of her local High School. Despite being a sports athlete phenomenon in her school district, Miyuki dreaded its attention, and even quit her career in pursuit of living a simplistic daily routine. This daily routine would be inevitably interrupted when she chooses to 'branch out' by talking to people. Whether it be a chance of bad luck, fate, or karma, Sekken ends up speaking to someone who was unknowingly suffering from a curse: a curse that causes anyone who tries to get close to them to disappear. Miyuki Sekken would be the next victim, finding herself face-to-face against a once-thought mythical mafia. This gang is not just any gang either, but one who is run solely by the school students of Maguro High, who hold secrets to powers unheard of by the world. How will this first year survive? Will she conquer her anxiety and thwart the gang's vicious rule? Or will she end up losing more than she could have imagined? P.S. I am not a good drawer, so I use Picrews and photo editors to get the general idea for my characters' designs. Rights to the Picrews used go to their respective authors.
