Chapter 445: [ Demon Tiger King ]

An incredible deadly energy spread through the atmosphere and moved towards Allen and the others.

The first thing Laura did after feeling this aura was stand in front of Allen, protecting him. As for the two men, they slowly walked towards Allen’s direction as they were felt terrified. In this kind of situation, even an idiot would understand that the safest place to be would be beside someone strong.

"... ..."

The atmosphere turned extremely calm.

Time passed very slowly. The silence in which the atmosphere was drowned was quite oppressive…

After a while, rumbling noises spread through the atmosphere. The ground started shaking again. That time, the ground was shaking even more intensely than last time. The noises were so loud that the group aside from Laura and Allen had the impression that they were going to become deaf.

Allen was spreading his perception when suddenly he saw a shadow in the distance. This shadow shot towards him like electricity. He hadn’t even recognized it properly, but the tiny white shadow had already embraced his chest.

As for Laura, when she noticed the shadow, her face instantly changed. She held her claws to slash or at least attempt to stop it but the shadow easily dodged her attack agilely.

It was very quick!

Before she knew it, it was already in Allen’s embrace and went unconscious.

The dark blood from its wounds stained Allen’s robe.

Allen stared at the animal on his hand and was then confused. It was actually a butterfly. A very beautiful butterfly with its wings colored in rainbow. It was a less than 2 feet tall butterfly with big round eyes.

ROOOOOAAAARRRR!!!!

Not long after the rainbow-colored butterfly appeared, a deafening roar that seems to possess the power to shake the heaven and earth resounded in the entire forest. This roar immediately frightened countless of high-level monsters and beasts in the vicinity, causing them to run away like little spiders.

Then, in front of Allen and the others, glaring with bloodthirsty red eyes and long canines, a ferocious beast appeared. It looked extremely aggressive and brutal.

It was a massive tiger with black stripes and a splendid looking horn on its forehead. It was covered with bright red flames and had spikes covering its body. It was flying in the air with two gigantic red wings.

That ferocious beast looked terrifying, it looked sanguinary and brutal. A single glance at that beast was enough to frighten a normal person to death.

“It’s a…….. Flaming Winged Tiger….” Thought the two men. They read about that beast in ancient books. That beast looked like a winged tiger, an ancient ferocious beast.

“Human! Put down the Butterfly Mother and I will let you leave!” The winged tiger said with contempt. He sounded exceedingly arrogant.

The tiger talking stunned the crowd but Allen and Laura was the exception. Laura's face showed contempt and anger.

“Owa, someone just came in and instantly started acting arrogant… you’re making me blush,” said Allen sounding cold and detached.

“However, I’m sorry, I fear that I’m going to have to disappoint you. I’m the type of person that if found something would never hand it to a lost and found office and keep it in my pocket instead!”

“You’re looking to die, human?!?!” The winged tiger then lets out a howl filled with ultimate fury. The whiskers on its face trembled violently, and its eyes filled with savagery and blood.

“Do you know who I am?! I am Hanjin, the king of this land!!”

According to the way it spoke, it must have thought that once Allen heard about its name, even if Allen wouldn’t kneel down and bow, he would definitely be extremely shocked and say something exclamatory!

Hanjin, The Demon Tiger King. Even Deities in the surrounding area would know of its name as it was one of the most dreadful existence in the world--Monster King!

It was ruling the entire Blood Desert Oasis--Ferocious, Wild and Cruel, the Monster King of the Blood Desert Oasis!

However, Allen said seriously, “Hanjin? Never heard of it. Are you that famous? Even though you look so proud speaking of your name, I truly haven’t heard of it before! I am so sorry.”

As a matter of fact, Allen didn’t wish to provoke such an incredible monster unnecessarily but, it was actually looking down at him and stared at him with contempt. It’s as if it was a heavenly king and he was just a mere ant.

... And this pricked his pride.

There was one thing that Allen couldn’t accept — people threatening him.

He can look down on people but he would never let himself be looked down upon!!

Those who dared belittled him will certainly pay the price.

This is his principle!

This is his pride!

In Allen’s eyes, an ice-cold killing intent appeared. His face was filled with murder.

The winged tiger was instantly furious as it roared in anger, “How dare you, you lowly human! I dare you to say that again!!”

Allen shrugged his shoulders exaggeratedly and shook his head, “Nope. Hanjin… I have never heard about it. And King, seriously… that is bullshxt. Is there even a Kingdom near here? All I can see is just a dense jungle… or what? Are you playing play-pretend? Do you just want to declare yourself a king? …waah, seriously, are you a kid who wanted to boast and impersonate that he was Superman? Grow up will you,” While speaking, Allen shook his head and sighed.

It looked like he was being surprised about childish the winged tiger king in front of him was.

The winged tiger king spoke coldly, “Let me ask you for the last time. Don’t you know me, really?”

“Are you famous? I truly don’t. Absolutely don’t. Totally don’t. I don’t know you!” Allen twitched his lips and said.

“You’re going to regret this.” The winged tiger king’s face was smiling, but there was an indescribable terrifying aura behind it.

Allen laughed, saying: “Forgive me, my literacy isn’t very good. I don’t know what regret means.”

“Looking to die!”

The winged tiger king roared in anger, intense anger. The muscles on its body instantly bulged up, threads of mana came out of its body, surrounding the area, a violent aura covered the area.

“I, Hanjin, haven’t seen anyone dare to contradict me in this land, especially not in front of me!” said the winged tiger sounding extremely evil while staring at Allen, like a ferocious predator.

But Allen, as before, seemed indifferent.

“Now, you have seen.” Said Allen coldly and detached.

“Yes, I have. You are extremely courageous and brave human, you surprised me, but today, your life will end here. Too bad, I had once pledged an oath to the humans that I won’t attack humans. But since you have disobeyed me within this land, this oath shall be broken today!” Said the winged tiger in an ice-cold tone. It released a piercing deadly energy which moved towards Allen, causing a massive pressure to descend.

The two men immediately kneeled and seemed to be on the verge of losing unconsciousness while the children had already fainted. Laura, on the other hand, had managed to endure, albeit barely.

Cold sweat dripped on her body as she started to feel as if she was losing strength. However, she gritted her teeth, full of unwillingness. She would never kneel to other people besides Allen!

“Hoo, arrogant. You dare say that you will take my life?” Replied Allen with an amused smile. It’s as if he had found something amusing.

Many people had desired it but... where are they now...?

Allen's red draconic eyes dilated and killing intent overflowed.

“It seems like you really don’t know me at all. Fine, you seemed to have a great innate talent –a peak lesser god. Indeed, you have qualifications to act arrogant and disdain everything in this world. But in front of me, you’re still an ant. I am Hanjin, the Monster King of this land!” Threatened the winged tiger again sounding extremely cold which made Allen stupefied.

“A monster king… huh…” As expected... He had expected this but still hearing about it really make one have a headache.

“What, feared already?” The winged tiger kind snorted.

For the winged tiger king, Allen was like a beggar declaring his intent to revolt against the King.

He could tear his weak body with its claw with ease. Bite his head off without problem...!

“Indeed, I never thought you would be a Monster King. And here I thought of evading troublesome people like you… why do troubles so attracted to me?” Allen’s heart was filled with endless dreary and sadness but his voice sounded as calm and serene. Laura was the only one who could see how calm and carefree Allen’s eyes looked.

“Hahaha, now you understand! It seems like you are not as stupid as you seem” Joked the winged tiger king. It had already decided that moment it appeared –no matter what, it wouldn’t let Allen and the others live, they would never be allowed to leave there alive.

“… but you regret too late! You will lose your life today!!”

“Oh, I’m scared.” Allen snickered. “… So that was it! In other words, today, no matter what, you and me, only one of us survive at the end of the day, right?” The winged tiger king was smiling because of the joke it had just made but when it heard Allen’s response, his facial expression drastically changed.

What?!

Allen ignored the tiger king and gives Laura the sleeping butterfly. “Go on first; I will play with this old beast for now. Bring those people with you,”

“… …” Laura started to open her mouth, she wanted to say something but didn’t know what excuse she could use to make Allen let her stay. But even she stays, what could she do… that opponent was a Monster King!

With her current strength, she would just be a baggage. She looked disappointed and tried to hide her bitterness, which made Allen smile wryly: “I’m going to be fine… don’t worry about me.”

“Yes, Master!” Laura slightly smiled and nodded: “Please be careful, master!”

“You know me, so you don’t need to worry.” Allen smiled gently as he patted the girl’s head.

Laura smiled and then she turned around and rushed towards the outer region of the forest.

“Did I say you can leave?!!” When it saw Laura left with the others, the monster king was instantly angered and was about to give chase when woosh!! A tearing sound and just in front of him, an arc formed fire blade passed by. If it had proceeded to move forward, it would have been hit by it!

“What?!” the tiger king halted. It turned its head in Allen’s direction.

He had thought that Allen, a mere human powerhouse wouldn’t dare challenge against it, but in fact, Allen had just proved that he was much more audacious than expected, or maybe more precisely, the winged tiger king wasn’t as imposing and domineering as it thought itself to be.

“You human maggot!!”

ROAARRRRR!!!

Allen’s action enraged the winged tiger king’s temper and it took a step towards Allen. Meanwhile, a sky full of flames rained densely with just a roar, blanketing the area within a hundred-foot radius.
