Chapter 421: [ Magma World ]
“Master, I don’t know but it seems like the beast that we’re looking for had finally awakened. This mana fluctuation was extremely terrifying…”
Just as Dakna said this, they suddenly noticed the extremely hot temperature enveloping the entire place, had once again risen up all of a sudden. The hot temperature that was rising within the entire place even caused one’s vision to become hazy. When one gently inhaled a breath into one’s body, one immediately felt like one was inhaling a breath of flames.
It was extremely hot...!
A fiery-red light had seeped out from an unknown source and lit up the entire space until it became quite bright.
"What is this? Is this caused by the beast we are looking for?"
Allen frowned as he felt the sudden change. In an instant, two huge wings appeared behind him.
The wings on Allen’s back flapped and his body was suspended in the sky. A glow swiftly flashed across his red eyes.
Allen’s eyes gleamed brightly and the glow spread up like brightly lit bulbs. His mana covered the entire Oasis.
After a few minutes of inspecting the entire Oasis, Allen's head finally turned towards a certain direction.
“There…” He muttered.
“Master?”
“In that lake…” Allen responded as he turned his head towards the lake. “There’s a mana stream flowing towards the bottom of the lake. I couldn’t see it before due to the fog but it seems like when this sudden mana fluctuation occurred, it disturbed the barrier covering this entire place.”
“What do we do, master…?” Dakna asked. Although this smell was really tempting for flame type beasts, as for a Dragon like her, it wasn’t really that necessary. However, it can’t be said for flame beasts like Xinghong.
Even now, an excited ray flashed across Xinghong’s eyes. Like an excited child, a drool somewhat appeared dripping from her jaws.
“Let’s go…” Allen smiled. Seeing Xinghong's current state, he didn't know if he should laugh amused or cry from helplessness. “It seems like Xinghong really wanted it and even, that naughty brat Grim was dancing in joy within my mind. It's getting annoying now, her voice filling up my mind...” Though due to its lazy nature, Grim didn’t come out like Xinghong and just ask Allen within his mind.
Unlike Xinghong, Grim was a special monster that had already achieved human form. Thus, she can easily connect her thoughts with Allen through an emphatic connection. Of course, this can also be done by other humanoid beasts within Allen’s Grimoire.
Although Allen was indeed by Grim but, every tamed beast knows how Allen loved the annoying lazy cat and even spoiled it so much one make can feel envious. Fortunately, Lightning's intelligence and wisdom hadn't grown that high or else it would surely make a protest against Allen from unfair treatment...!
Of course, Allen loves all of them just the same, just that, Grim particularly hit Allen's desire to protect even though she was irritating sometimes. Cute, Adorable, although sometimes arrogant but in front of Allen, Grim was actually quite obedient and knows when to stop acting like that.
In addition, Allen has one more reason to hunt this unknown mysterious beast. He can feel within the Empathic Link, most of his Fire-type beasts, especially, although not as strong as Xinghong and Grim, Lama seemed to be also interested in this strange feeling of attraction. It was like a high-class steak was presented before them!

Because of this, Allen’s interest in this unknown thing or possibly beast was piqued.
"Let's go," Allen led the group and shot towards the lake.
They then dived into the lake. Dakna and Xinghong took the lead while Allen followed behind them in his small Leviathan form. If any danger occurred, they could protect Allen and retreat while the other buy some time –well, that was their plan anyway.
As for Allen, he was actually quite weak deep into the water but due to his Leviathan form, the curse was voided. In this form, he takes the appearance of a little Dragon with glossy black and blue scales. He had a long sky blue tail with a pale green fin on the end.
The lake water was clear and Allen could see many schools of silverfish as well as water monsters and exotic looking plants. However, they were running away when they saw Dakna and Xinghong, none of them dared to come close.
Although the monsters were all different kinds, once they were within a close distance they could sense that the two of them are extremely powerful monsters. Such a vibe became fear for them, which then became a convenience for Allen.
After swimming down for half an hour, Dakna and Xinghong finally stopped. Allen swam for some distance and noticed there was a strange area not far in front.
Diving closer, there were more and more crimson colored lights.
Suddenly, Allen stopped by supporting his body on the periphery’s rock. Now his heart was both startled and delighted. Startled because those white specks were small snakes emitting crimson lights, but the whole body of these snakes was covered with a kind of scale armor, and also that row of sharp teeth extending out their flat head.
The more closely they got, the hotter the water becomes. This shows that these strange snake looking fishes or whatsoever were absolutely not friendly crops.
Surveying the area seriously, Allen noticed that behind these strange snakes was a round-shaped tunnel entrance. However, water was not flowing into it. It might be assumed that there was completely different world inside.
And one last thing, if you didn’t look closely it would have been hard to tell that the area was strange. It was like a thin round glass covered the opening of this cave or tunnel. Without these monsters guarding here, he might have missed this place.
Allen glanced at Dakna and Xinghong, then nodded his head.
Hiiisssss!!!
The strange snakes noticed them and immediately issued threatening cries one after another. Seeing Allen and the other ignored them, these monsters started shooting themselves towards Allen and the others in a mad frenzy.
"Hm?!" Allen’s eyes frowned. He was reluctant to waste time here so before these monsters could get close to them, the spike on Allen’s back glowed brightly and electric sparks spread throughout the area, like a spider web.
Creeeee –!!!
Like a chain of lightning, the electricity passed through every strange monster that comes at them. As for Dakna and Xinghong, the electricity seemed to have sentient as they avoided them.
The fight ended in just a few moments!
Killing these monsters only lasted for a few minutes before they proceeded forward.
In front of the glass like barrier, Allen and company were stopped. Dang! Dang! It really looks like a glass as Allen tested the barrier. He assumed that this barrier should be unbreakable under Deity and above Realm and less than Mid God Realm.

"Hmph!" Allen snorted in contempt. This kind of barrier, do you think I can't break it?!
I might not be Mid God yet but this kind of barrier is nothing to me...!!
Allen's draconic eyes gleamed and the spikes on his back started emitting wild electric arcs. His red eyes, like a pair of mini flashlights, shone in fiery color and when opened his mouth, a ball formed by his lightning and water energy immediately condensed into a basketball-sized sphere.
Seeing Allen's action, Dakna and Xinghong hurriedly retroceded just behind Allen's adorable small body.
ROOOOOOAAAAAARRRR!!!!!!
BOOOOOMMMM!!!
A massive explosion that instantly devastated the entire Oasis rang out, shaking the Desert range within a hundred kilometers.

After breaking the barrier, Allen and the others entered the tunnel, went against the surging current due to Allen's wild attack and swam for a few minutes before they suddenly noticed the bright light above them. Allen immediately swam upward and discovered that they had apparently entered an ancient looking cave.
Swimming towards the bank, Allen reverted back to his human form and started sizing up the cave. To his surprise, he discovered that the walls of this cave were very smooth and was quite spacious. He felt as if he was inside a grand hall or something…
Although the stench that faintly lingered caused Allen to frown slightly, however, he was not interested to bother about such trifling matters. What caught Allen's attention was that, when he was breaking the barrier a while ago, instead of proceeding forward, his breath was actually reflected and didn't the least bit caused any damage to this place!
Of course, he had successfully destroyed barrier but even so... Allen had somewhat used 20 to 30 percent of his magic power in that attack but he just a felt a kind of force managed to repel his power. What's more, aside from the barrier, there was actually a second layer as well--that was what made Allen's breath returned to him.
If he wasn't Allen and someone else, they might not die due to their attack but heavily injured wasn't an impossibility...!
Just what kind of creature managed to conjure such two high-level barriers...?
Now Allen, can't help but take this 'treasure hunt' seriously and felt a bit of excitement.
Allen took a deep breath and surveyed the interior of the cave. Through the dark corridor, the end of this cave couldn’t be seen, and at the interval of 10 -15meters or so, there was two small white colored magic lamp on either side of cave wall which illuminated this cave. At first glance, it appeared just like a normal passage.
Aside from the heat like the sun's surface, with Allen’s Godly senses, he can hear a faint sound of liquid flowing suddenly sounded in front. That sound was like lake water churning. However, just this slight sound caused Allen’s solemn expression to change drastically.
This heat as well as this sound…
“Before we proceed, let’s change clothes for now,” Allen said with a smile, then began to take off his wet clothing. Waving his hand, the ring on his finger glowed faintly and several male and female clothes appeared.
“Master, I will help you.” Dakna looked at Allen and said lovingly. After that, she stepped forward and gently helped Allen to undress.
Allen wasn't the least bit embarrassed or shy. Dakna was his, why still act like a stranger...?
With Dakna’s help, Allen smoothly took off his clothing, and that huge thing under his hip sprung up in high spirits. Seeing this, Dakna, this still maiden blushed and her heart heats up. The heart of the young woman noble dragon resembles a rabbit at this very moment, always jumping nonstop.
While being attended, Allen stared at Dakna’s exquisite and curvy body in front of him, and the evil fire in his heart grew even stronger. Due to this, his little brother suddenly grew a bit again, causing Dakna to shiver as she turned around, didn’t dare to look again.
"He he," Allen chuckled in amusement. He knows that this wasn’t the time to play around and thus, could only take a deep breath, and suppressed the evil fire constantly churning inside his body. After Dakna picked up a set of clothes that Allen likes, she started helping him put it on. She really looked like a small servant happily helping her master.
Allen felt becoming invalid but he could only smile wryly while watching her. He couldn’t say anything when this girl, whether it was her, Laura or the other girls, attend him with such happy and ecstatic expressions. Although he wanted to refuse them but actually, he doesn't have the will too after seeing their happy expressions.
Obviously, they like attending on him and treat it as some sort of a happy and joyous matter.
Well, being a young master doesn’t really seem bad.
After dressing Allen up, Dakna also started to take off her clothing, albeit embarrassed.
Looking at her dynamic and slender body, Allen had a hard time containing his evil fire. If his mental power was not as strong as it was, he might have already pounced on her like a hungry wolf.
After finally finished changing clothes, Allen stood up and walked towards the depth of the passage.
Soon after walking, Allen stopped, and alertly looked at both sides of the passage and discovered rows of lifelike people statues, dressed in clothing of different profession, holding different weapons, and that ferocious expression on their face was the only thing identical among them.
A temple...?
Allen frowned. Why a temple in this kind of place...?
Led by Xinghong and Dakna, Allen and the others continued to go forward. They then noticed that the temperature in the air started to become hotter and hotter that normal people would certainly die to due the heat coming from this place.
As for Allen and the others, due to their constitution, this kind of heat was nothing.
“This cave… the deeper we enter, the fire elements become denser…”
“Yes, master. And if I am not wrong… this passage is leading towards a place filled with magma…”
Allen nodded.
He had already assumed that it was the case.
As they went deeper, Allen’s expression also grew increasingly serious. Besides being serious, there was a faint unrestrained curiosity. This was because he could feel something other than the flame elements in this place.
Something… very, very unusual…
“We’re almost there…” After taking a turn around another corner, a red colored light appeared at the end of the tunnel a short distance away. Seeing this, Xinghong and Dakna’s bodies shivered excitedly.
The two people and a beast increased their speed for the final stretch. They swiftly passed through this short route and finally arrived at the end of the tunnel.
Standing at the end of the tunnel, the three of them watched the fiery, red world in front of them with their faces filled… with shock…

The Errant Otherworlder Watanabe
“In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death, taxes and trucks whom transport men to other worlds.” Meet our titular protagonist Haruto Watanabe, a man who has all the markings of a good protagonist for a generic portal fantasy story. As an overworked office worker, to escape from the grips of crippling capitalist alienation, he had taken up to reading many stories where young men like him were transported to other worlds and enjoyed their lives at a most leisurely pace. Armed with genre-awareness and (what he believes to be) a marketable personality which would make him an easy audience self-insert, he longed for the day the isekai express would take him to his long-awaited adventure to another world. When the fateful day came, where the fair yet harsh mistress that is the fabled truck took Watanabe on one last date to the other side, he was most ready to escape his previous life, ready to embark on an errant so great he’d be most overpowered, his heroics so exceptional and his harem so vast that they would barely fit ten or twenty volumes of an overly long novel made by a desperate author looking for quick cash. Lo and behold however, Watanabe instead found himself in a low fantasy world which lacked severely in the department of any game-like systems, cheat skills or easily charmed damsels in distress. In a setting so antithetical to his established genre savviness or any attempts at power fantasy, how will a man like Watanabe, lacking in strength, wits and courage, manage to survive in a land most foreign to him? This is my first time trying to share to the wider world what I’ve written, and I hope you’ll enjoy reading the errantry of Watanabe as much as I enjoy writing about them. I'll be posting one chapter per week on Sundays, along with extra chapters whenever I get the chance to write more than usual.
