Chapter 405: [ Raising Morale ]
When Allen boarded the city wall, the warriors and soldiers were already in place.
Allen looked northwesterly, finding a group of monsters and Demons approaching the Aryan City. He then guessed that there should be about over hundreds of Monsters and Demons in that group.
It was probably even twice or three times larger than the horde from yesterday...
They were going all out...
"Young Lord!"
"It's good that you came!"
When Allen came, he was immediately greeted by the Elders including Lord Rajmund who was absent yesterday and yet he had unexpectedly appeared right now. He must have heard that the number and power of the Monster Horde today, unlike yesterday was on a completely different level. Thus, he came.
He might have deemed the situation a bit serious...
“No surprise attack in the end, huh?” Allen smiled bitterly.
“I also thought so, but it seems like they were confident to take this City in a direct attack,” Lord Rajmund responded with a snort.
Take this city...? Hmph! That's easy to say than done. The foundation of this city is much sturdier than one can imagine--If push comes to shove, other than Lord Rajmund, there were still several people capable of protecting this city under such horde.
“With that much army… isn’t that a cinch…?” Allen’s lips curled upwards. His smile had a bit of teasing and humor.
“Young Lord, please don’t joke like that,” One of the Elder hurriedly said.
“Hahaha,” Allen laughed without care.
“However, although I want to deny your words but everyone seems to feel a little uneasy.”
“As expected, huh?”
Allen looked at the tension-filled crowd. Their faces were extremely annoying as if they were facing the end of the world.
Seeing this, Allen sighed bitterly.
“Oh well, I’m going first,”
“Hm?” Lord Rajmund frowned. “What do you mean?”
Allen glanced at him with a grin. “I mean what I mean.”
??!
“I have so much frustration I wanted to let out. I need someone to pay for breaking my fun…” An ominous gleam flashed across Allen’s eyes. a terrifying killing intent came out from inside his body.
Allen’s initiative really shocks Lord Rajmund and the other Elders.
“Sol, what are you!?” At this moment, Eerika finally arrived. She was looking for Allen all this time but then the moment she found him, she had heard that he was going to plunge into the battle unlike from yesterday?
This is…
“I’m going for a walk, Eerika. Stay here for now,” Allen walked over her and grabbed both of her hands. Squeezing it softly, he smiled gently.
“But Sol, if you want to go, I will also go…” Eerika bit her lips. “I can protect myself,”

“Nah, stay here so that you can support me when necessary,”
!!?
“You’re not suitable for close combat anyway…”
Eerika couldn’t argue. She could only stare at him bitterly.
Her mind was stormed by various thoughts. She had so many doubt that she wanted to speak out. However, she remained calm as she followed Allen with her eyes.
“Well, you needn’t worry too much about the upcoming fight, Lady Eerika, Young Lord. We, the group behind you, will support you in case of an emergency. You have us, so fight at the front with confidence and with concern!”
Looking at the two lovers as if being threatened to part by death, Lord Rajmund can only sigh and tried to re-assure Eerika. He then looked at his daughter, Anahita and noticed him glaring at Eerika slightly.
He was certain that his daughter was not feeling any romantic thoughts towards Allen but due to what had happened between them, some favorable opinion was inevitable. Still, she has no time to show it since he had always been trying to make her avoid Allen. After all, even if he was a savior of the Clan, his background was still covered by a veil so thick it was almost impossible to see through.
However, last night, when he had heard Allen’s answer, although there was still a bit of mystery but he was certain that this youth wasn’t an enemy… at least not by the Clan.
Besides, if he was an enemy--why is he close with the Olympian Goddess, Athena...?
Thinking like thing, Lord Rajmund can't help but think-- Was he really in the wrong…?
Well, even if give his permission now, he doubts Anahita can still chase him. Unfortunately, in this race, she was already too far behind compared to the lady of the Norse Clan.
“Hmm, well, it’s too bad. I was planning on getting those two a seat to see the fireworks show, but now it looks like I needed to cancel that idea. These monsters are too scary I don’t want them to see, they might get scared,” Allen muttered as he thought about Baishe and Laura who was resting back in the room.
“They have done their best yesterday… now, it’s my turn.”
Allen’s figure flashed and he suddenly disappeared, only to reappear in front of everyone, standing at the top of the walls.
Seeing his appearance, the people and warrior sent a confused and doubtful gaze. What is he doing...?
However, suddenly, Allen's voice rang out like a toll of a bell in a new year, grabbing all attention. "Hear me out!!!" His voice along with his aura and presence was hard to ignore and could even be said to be so domineering that it immediately caused their bodies to tremble and shook.

Neither loud or soft and yet, his voice rang out in their ears as if he was speaking right beside them.
Taking a deep breath, Allen started. “Don’t let the numbers intimidate you, heroes!” A smile bloomed on his face, like a flower in a spring, it attracted, genders alike.
!!!? Moreover, it was absolutely a voice that, the instant it was heard, any girl or women would be done for. It was almost as if every people present was sitting around the fire on a warm night. They unexpectedly had a feeling of peace and security, where there was no need for them to think about anything at all.
This was the amazing allure of voice that has the power to charm those who have heard it.
Allen saw that their attention was grabbed successfully and their heads turned towards him. Some with flushed faces, some with shocked and doubtful gazes--still, all of them look at him. And this was enough, whatever they think at this moment was none of his concern.
“Those are just numbers – is what I want to say. However, I, Allen Bando, say this on behalf of the Elders of the Aryan Clan who is my friend and precious comrades. Those who value their life may return to the City and hide… I’ll be lenient in this.”
“… …”
“But if you do this, I will certainly be disappointed.” Allen smiled bitterly. His voice carried a hint of pain that for some reason, it caused others to feel a sorrow and pain they couldn't explain. “From what I know, the Aryan Clans, no, all of the Clans present in this place right now, are all heroes and true warriors.”
“I had always admired all of you because of this. Never cowering even in the face of any kind of enemies or situation. Monsters be damned! Numbers are just numbers! Real warriors never stepped back on anything… that has always been my belief; all came from you and your ancestors."
Using a very intense, manly tone, Allen lowered his voice and asked, "As descendants are you really going to shame your predecessors?!”
“… …” Allen's tone was proper and serious. And then it was answered by an uncomfortable silence.
No one said anything but Allen can see that their wavering eyes suddenly stilled. The flickering of their auras that seemed to be akin to that of a flame of a candle that would die of any slight wind, stopped and instead become thicker.
“Excellent!!” Allen’s smile grown wider and brighter, like the sun, almost blinding.
“We can’t shame your ancestors! As a descendant of true warriors, stand up and don’t let your hearts waver. Fear death…? That didn’t belong to us!!”
Clang! Cleng! Clang! sounds of clanking sounds rang out one after another as each people grabbed their weapons tightly, Their eyes narrowed and seemed to start burning in flames.
“That’s right!!” Allen laughed heartily. Without any fear, without unease, truly carefree and nonchalant!!
“Now, pick up your weapons and show them that you are true warriors. Real warriors never cower! Real warriors do not ask how many the enemies are but where they are…” Allen suddenly thought of a historical figure – Agis, the King of Sparta!
Other than Allen’s aggressive and intimidating voice, the entire City wall did not have any other noise. Anyone who had heard his words stared at the young man standing in front of them with stunned expressions.
“For your city! For your family! For your loved ones, pick up your weapon and stand up… aren’t you real warriors!!?”
“““““OOooooooooohhhhhhh!!!!!”””””
The thunder-like roars from the monsters resounded in the entire Desert that can horrify any men. However, at this very moment, the soldiers and warriors on the defensive wall, for some reason were pumped by what Allen had just said.
True warriors!!
Real warriors do not ask how many the enemies are but where they are…!!!
Domineering!
Purely domineering!
Who cares if its hundreds or thousands of enemies in my hands all of you are nothing!!
Real warriors fight even if the odds are against them!
True warriors never cower!!
That was the attitude!
Some people were even shivering due to the excitement.
“If your weapon breaks, swing your fists… if your fist break, then use your head. If your head breaks, then open your mouth and bite!!"
"Protect what you wanted to protect! You’re all warriors, and that is what real warriors should do!!”
Finally —
Someone subconsciously yelled: “Battle! For our Clan and families!”
This yell had woken everyone up.
Everyone finally digested what they had just heard, and they were all red-faced and yelled in excitement –
“For Glory!! For the City! For the people!! For the family!!”
“Warriors never cower!! We will slaughter all of the enemies!!”
“That’s what warriors should do!!!”
This little follow up was like a tiny spark into a pond of gasoline.
All a sudden, the blood of the defending soldiers and warriors of the Aryan Clan as well as those in the other Clans had ignited, burning like an unstoppable flame.
“Fight!!”
“Defend! For our City!”
“Attack!! Kill!! Battle!!!”
The chanting roars sent forth a truly spectacular force. Like the most unimaginable magic, it quickly spread around the entire City.
Almost every people standing at the top of the City wall started roaring.
Morale was skyrocketing!
