Chapter 397: [ Monster Attack (2) ]
Arriving at the gate, many people and warriors whether they were Godkins and High humans were already gathering in large force, setting up camps and preparing for a real war. Various experts from various families were arranged to the various sides of the city.
There were even some women who were attending the gathered soldiers and warriors, giving foods and water, as well as helping to move things.
This response was quite unexpected for Allen.
Fast, quick and efficient.
The Aryan Clan indeed has one of the greatest relationships between Clan Members Allen had seen so far.
While walking towards these busy people, however, he attracted attention from near-and-far the moment he stepped out.
Allen was like a magnet at that moment. All the eyes around couldn’t help but be attracted towards him.
Neat black coat with snow dyed fur on the neckline. Crimson blood linings neatly engraved on the cloth, giving somewhat devilish attraction.
The clothes quality was unquestioned as anyone could see that it was made up of high-quality materials. Even that fur seemed to be alive and fluffy. This was the clothes Eerika had prepared beforehand and stored inside Allen’s Storage Ring. Not only all of the things there was of high-quality magical items, they were also quite fashionable.
With just this, anyone can really feel how much thoughts Eerika held for Allen.
Allen ignored the surroundings. His clothes and silver wavy hair were fluttering in the air, giving an appearance of being frivolous, natural and unrestrained.
His sword-like eyebrows were raised, and his eyes seemed gentle and spiritual. He genuinely looked like a handsome Young Master… an elegant and handsome youngster. His expression was warm and cheerful but anyone can see the unsheathed sword hiding beneath that warm exterior.
And now, subconsciously feeling the killing intent from him, the onlookers couldn’t help but feel alarmed and abject fear.
He was smiling as warmly as the spring breeze. But, the vibes that were coming from him made people feel that it was more like a cold gale from a desolate forest…
This was enough for them to know what the youth was currently feeling… I’m ready for war!
“It’s good to see you here, young lord!” As Allen was walking around, several figures descended in front of him, wearing cheerful smiles and gratified expressions. Although they didn’t fear demons and monsters but this sudden attack from a short of time of peace meant that, Mammon was probably finally starting something -though who knows what.
The meeting with the other God Clans needed to be pushed forward. But for now, they needed to protect the city first.
This will be not a battle like before. An extra hand like Allen would be a great help.
“Of course, you treated me quite well ever since I had arrived in this City. It’s only right for me to never shrink away whenever you needed help.” Allen smiled warmly. Besides, it’s been a while since I last had the chance to cut loose, of course, I wouldn’t dare to miss it. Allen added the last part in his heart.

“Hahaha, those words certainly lift our guilt for implicating you in this problem. We thank you from the bottom of our heart.”
“Haha, This is just the so-called see injustice on the road and draw one’s sword to help the victim, no need for thanks. Besides, we are friends so it’s only right for me to stand by your side in these unstable times.”
“Hahaha, the young lord is extremely reliable! Indeed, we don’t know what those damn demons are planning so we still couldn’t tell the exact situation. But with your help, our worries and concerns somewhat elevated.”
At this moment, the residents and Clan members of the Aryan City were desperately reinforcing their walls and barriers.
Once they heard that they would be aided not just by the Deities of the Kemet Clan, young warriors from some other God Clans that had come out to gain experience, but even by the mysterious youth, the townspeople’s courage multiplied a hundredfold, and the warrior and soldier’s morale soared.
If he did have the power to defeat the infamous Mummy Lord, then routing these damnable monsters and demons would be a trivial task.
The unease and anxiety that filled the city from earlier had vanished, and the peoples’ eyes were filled with light and hope. Nobody wanted to leave their homes behind and flee, so if they could, they still wanted to protect this city till the last one standing. Thus, the presence of Allen and the others were the source of their hope.

Across the wall of the city, one can see sets of heavy metal armors leaning beside the wall. They looked like they were lifted from the hands of Aphrodite or some Goddess of Beaty as they shined under the bright sunlight.
There were not only armors but weapons as well; Swords, shortswords, knives, daggers, spears, Axes, halberds and many more. They have lined up along at the top of the castle walls for warriors to easily pick up that which were comfortable for them.
Even people below King Rank, Lv5 – 9 High humans picked up weapons to fight. This was the best chance to acquire honor, Even if they died, it would be worth it as long as they managed to protect the city and slaughter several monsters. This was an honor that brought glory even to one’s ancestors!
And if they luckily survive, then isn't it the best way to elevate one's standing? Putting aside killing a high-level Demon or Monster, killing only low-level wolves or imps was already enough for many of them to brag to others for years.
This is glory, you know. It is something even more important than a man’s life, a supreme pride.
Time passed by very quickly.
As they were getting ready, just then, an unexpected cries and roars sounded in the entire Desert.
Grooooaaarrr!!
Roooaaarrrr!!
Raaawwwwwrrr!!
Arrrroooaaaa!!!
They had finally come!
Hearing the horrifying roars coming from far away, everyone’s faces changed.

Every people listened to the sounds coming from outside, and they were getting louder and louder with every passing moment. The fear within their hearts becomes even deeper because they know that the monster and demon hordes will soon arrive.
The originally squatting warriors at both sides of the gate stood up, being on full alert. Almost every time when the monster horde arrives, the gate would be closed and a transparent barrier would be created.
However, even with this barrier, no one let their guards down as no one knows when would this barrier be destroyed as it’s not invulnerable!
“The demon beast horde is coming, everyone, full defense!”
--Thus, everything came down to fighting and killing the monsters with their own hands!
“Defense!”
“Warriors! Prepare yourself!!”
“Arm the cannons! The trebuchets!”
On the flat desert far away, black dots appeared one after another and quickly become more dense, turning into a thick black strip. The ground was also rumbling, like a dense thunder striking it.
Less than dozens of kilometers, they finally see a large horde that seemed to even have tainted the sky, as black spots almost covered the entire blue sky.
Then, as people were starting to get anxious and scared from the appearance of the monsters, suddenly a cold and extremely powerful murderous aura suddenly burst-out as if enveloping the entire Desert, and spiraled towards the heavens.
That unparalleled murderous aura raged-about, and made the sleeves of every people present flutter.
This frightening murderous aura came not from a single person only but the entire monsters and demons horde that was eager to devour all life they encountered in their paths.
Poor people that aren’t able to endure the stench of blood and killing aura from the surrounding, most were women and children, instantly fell down, and fainted. Their faces pallid and deathly pale as their bodies started shivering.
It was really terrifying...
No matter how one endures or steel themselves, one feel of that can make a week-long nightmare to anyone!
Obviously, some managed to endure, especially those with higher levels but still, they couldn’t help but clattered their teeth as if shivering in the chilling cold.
Several youngsters holding onto their respective weapons in their hands were slightly trembling, fear crawling in their bodies, almost wanted them to turn around and run away.
“You’re afraid?” Noticing their negative emotions, an Elder asked.
Several people nodded their heads in honesty.
“Its fine, everything will be fine when the fight starts!” An elder laughed heartily, trying to alleviate the tense mood. “All of you must not forget, true blades were not sharpened from cotton… all of them were carefully honed from a grindstone! You won’t become true heroes if you cower just because of this… now youngsters! This is your test! Prove to me that all of you are indeed, the pride of your respective Clans!!”
““““Yesss!!!!""""
The Elder nodded his head in admiration as he turned his gaze back towards the incoming monsters. His eyes narrowed and the old wrinkles on his forehead seemed to have glistened and shone, giving the aged face luster that made him someone in his prime!
At this moment, a scream tore through the sky. The sharpness of the sound sounded like an awl piercing through the day.
At that moment, countless flying-type beasts flew across the sky.
Raising their heads, everyone discovered that there were at least tens of hundreds of different flying monsters and demons that were circling about in the sky.
This scene, even veterans of wars in the mortal world might faint due to fear. However, in the Celestial Realm, as expected of high existences, although some started shivering and trembling in fear but warriors and soldiers all regarding this as anything. Their gazes were sharp and fighting spirits along with their killing intents burst out!
Some even already unsheathed their swords, preparing to charge out and enter into battle, excited. Most of these men were Lesser Deities and guardians of the Clan. With their strength, as long as they don’t encounter any high ranking demons and monsters above Lesser Deity, they can safely retreat.
These batches of experts from various families and Clans gathered on top of the wall, giving those were anxious and fearful, a little peace of mind.
Allen was sitting in the tallest tower on the City wall, looking at everything with calm eyes. But if one looks closely, they would surely see that hidden deep within his eyes was the excitement that is difficult to conceal!
Behind him were two beautiful women. Both with golden hair, freely swaying in the wind. Their faces were both cold and indifferent.
One wore a golden crimson armor while the other wore a golden blue armor.
They were standing behind Allen while saying nothing.
These two beautiful women were none other than, Norse Clan’s precious prodigy; Eerika Balder and the other was Allen’s devoted loyal partner; Rebellion!
Eerika separated from her clan members and specifically stays beside Allen because she was worried that Allen would overdo it. Although he had said that he has his means to protect himself but she was still worried about the Mummy Lord’s Curse.
As for Rebellion, since Allen can only spare a small of magic power to her, she was using her own magic power to stay in form and in order for Allen to call his tamed beasts without him using any magic power.
Although this was extremely hard for her but as long as she won't do anything harsh, she would be able to support Allen perfectly!
