《Fantasial Apocalypse》Chapter 366: [ War ]

“What is it?” Allen turned to her.
Bang!!
As Anahita was about to respond, a huge explosion suddenly appeared and a dark obsidian colored sarcophagus emerge from the ground not too far away from Allen and the others.
It was a sarcophagus commonly used by pharaohs but unlike the normal ones, this sarcophagus seemed to have made from pure obsidian as it radiated an ominous black metallic radiance.
Seeing this, Anahita’s body started trembling. Her legs had also started trembling and she was even slowly stepping back a few steps. “This can’t be… this isn’t possible…” She muttered as she stared at the black sarcophagus with a very pale face.
“What is?” Allen frowned.
“‘That’ shouldn’t come out without at least a Mid –rank Deity….Hm!?” Anahita’s eyes whipped towards Allen. A realization struck her. “You!! Don’t tell me, you’re a Deity!?” Anahita’s voice rose up quite a few octaves due to the shock she was feeling at this very moment.
Anahita never expected that Allen would be a Deity and not just a normal Deity but probably a very high-level Deity -at least Mid rank. After all, ‘that’ only comes when a Mid rank and above level Deity appeared inside the ruins.
For her, Allen’s appearance was just too young for his age. Although Deity was more above that of normal humans, still in terms of age, 10 years of a mortal is equivalent to one month for the High humans and Godkins (Descendants of a real God). It’s not as if they didn’t age but, apart from the real Gods, the High Humans and Godkins aged much slower compared to mortals.
So of course, they still have some age differences. But still, Allen’s appearance was just too young, that she even thought that she was probably much older than him. Naturally, when he appeared, she never underestimated him. At the very least, she had expected for him to be at a Peak King realm or higher.
And that he was just able to tame many strong monsters –probably from various help from other people or his Clan.
But now, with the appearance of ‘that’, Anahita can’t think of any reason why it suddenly appeared other than this. Aside from the Scorpion King, she was the only one who possesses quite a considerable power but even then, she was still not enough to trigger ‘its’ appearance.
“What is that?” Allen asked as he stared at the sudden emerging black sarcophagus in curiosity.
“That is this underground pyramid’s most powerful monster; the Mummy Lord!!” Anahita said while gritting her teeth in anxiety.
“Mummy Lord?”
“Yeah, but the Mummy Lord will only appear if there were a Mid rank Deity or above inside the ruins.” Anahita bit her lips. She then turned her gaze on him.
Mid-rank Deity? Ah! Allen could only smile wryly. Truthfully, he still wasn’t a Mid rank Deity but just a Lesser Deity. However, in terms of power, he should be equivalent to peak Mid rank Deity due to his dual physique, power, and skills. So if this was a Dungeon system and this Mummy Lord was a hidden boss, then, it was not level but the power that was measured…?

As they were talking, at this moment, the silent obsidian colored sarcophagus suddenly trembled and the lid covering it slowly moved to the side and finally fell down with a loud ‘thud!’ spreading a bag of dust around.
Shiing!! Red eyes suddenly gleamed from the darkness that was inside the sarcophagus.
!!?
After a few moments of silence, A figure wrapped in bandages while wearing a robe slowly came out from the black sarcophagus.
The Mummy Lord was emerging.
A golden mask adorned with red jewels covered the face of the monster while its entire body was filled with ancient looking tattered bondages. It was wearing the golden striped nemes headdress and a long false beard.
The monster was holding a crook and flail, symbols of the king’s right to rule in ancient Egypt times.
"Those who dared to intrude the King’s tomb shalt be punished for eternally!!!” A voice rang out in the place and the Mummy Lord let out a deafening roar.
*** ***
*RUMBLE!*
The entire ruins shook from the Mummy Lord’s roar.
The ground shook so much that Anahita, the Scorpion King, and even all the creatures in the place aside from Allen couldn't stand properly anymore, while the dark red smoke grew thicker in the air, spreading throughout the ruins.
Mummy Lord.
A frigid chill emanated from his appearance alone.
A powerful high-level monster! Just his appearance alone made the entire place atmosphere sink low. An overwhelming atmosphere rushing in like a great storm.
Feeling the Mummy Lord’s intense aura, Allen’s eyes narrowed in a slit. He carefully observed the monster’s appearance.
A seemingly normal mummy with a rotting stench. With just this, he didn’t differ much from a normal mummy. However, the difference was that the Mummy was wearing an obsidian death mask and holding a frail and a crook, coupled with that terrifying amount of mana swirling around it and the aura it was exuding, Allen would never dare underestimate this monster.
A lustrous black and crimson robe, with ancient glyphs painted, that gave the feeling that he had small wings. It seems like it was made out of extremely good-quality material but shoddy because it looked like it had been used for over a hundred years. But the robe would look as good as new with a little mending.
A bleak, black aura was flowing from his body.
As Allen and the others stared at the Mummy Lord, finally, it began. The Mummy Lord suddenly rammed the crook and frail from its hands towards the ground and in an instant, from all over the place, Skeletons, Ghouls, Mummies, and Zombies suddenly emerged.
It was so much that Allen’s field of view became dominated by the undead legion without warning.
This was the power of the Mummy Lord. Mass Undead Summoning and most of all, it was done in an instant!!
As expected from the Hidden Boss!!
*RATTLE RATTLE*
The crashing sound of the skeleton joints was regularly heard and the intensity of smell of rotting stench wafted in the air. This incredible scene instantly made Anahita froze.

She had heard about the Mummy Lord from her ancestors and was always warned not to bring any mid-rank Deities inside the ruins as to avoid waking up the special monster. Although it wasn’t invincible but according to her clan, the Mummy Lord was a very powerful existence that even several Mid rank Deities had a very hard time in subjugating.
Thus, in these ruins that had become the training ground for all genius and prodigy clan members, all Deities whether it was even only Lesser Deity was prohibited to enter.
But now, it was actually awakened!
This is really bad!! Anahita’s mind was a total mess. She wanted to turn back and run for her life. However, when the Mummy Lord let out a terrifying roar, Anahita’s body seemed like it was struck by lightning and her body went numb. Her knees had even given up and trembled, almost causing her to fall.
“Master!” Baishe and the others had also felt the Mummy Lord’s power and their mind started trembling with anxiety. They had never encountered such a powerful monster before.
The first thought was to grabbed Allen and run but when they were about to turn around, they suddenly heard Allen’s voice: “Asmodeus, kill the Scorpion King and all of you, concentrate on the Undead, that one is mine…” A faint but excited voice called out to all of them.
In that very instant, Baishe and the other’s fear instantly vanished into thin air. Their expressions regained all of their confidence and pride.
The King had spoken!
The words are the law!
Smiles crept on their faces as their bodies immediately brimmed in excitement. Jittery filled their hearts and nerves.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Almost simultaneously, auras exploded.
Cracked! Allen’s knuckles made a cracking sound as he clenched his hand tightly.
“Master, I hope you joy in battle!” Baishe and the others rushed out.
Allen smiled indifferently as he started walking towards the Mummy Lord’s location.
“Wait!” A voice called out to him. “What are you doing!?”
Allen glanced at the source and saw Anahita looking at him as if he was an idiot. “What?”
“I don’t know how strong you are but fighting the Mummy Lord is nothing but a stupid act! Even several mid-rank Deities had a hard time defeating it, do you think you can win against it alone…!? You’re overestimating yourself too much!!” Anahita roared in anguish.
“That is the Mummy Lord that can even wipe a single country. And you are fighting against it??? Are you insane?!”
“… …”
“We need to run right now! The elders should have noticed the Mummy Lord’s revival. What we need to do now is run and waits for them…”
“Then go,” Before she could finish talking, Allen cut her off. With an indifferent smile and tone, he smiled faintly, “In any case, I don’t know you and you don’t know me. If you want to leave then leave, it doesn’t really concern us.”
“That is my prey there,” Ignoring the dumbfounded Anahita, Allen turned around and continued on his tracks.
Explosions echoed all over the ruins.
As Allen was walking nonchalantly amidst the sea of monsters, the Mummy Lord’s head turned towards Allen’s direction. He was the one who had awakened it.
Bang! Bang! CRA-CRA-CRA-CRA-CRAASH!
On Allen’s trail, black clouds rushed in, and countless bolts of lightning plummeted towards the undead around him.
The bodies of the monsters and undead that tried attacking Allen, simply exploded. With almost no lightning magic resistance, the undead was being massacred. However, most Skeleton Warriors managed to stay unscathed as they rushed towards Allen but before they could get close to him, they were sent away, destroyed on the spot or broken to pieces by Dakna and the others.
King Vs King.
Pawn Vs Pawn!
No one is allowed to disturb their master!
“Well, if its necromancy battle you wanted, I wouldn’t mind,” Allen smirk as he took his ‘face’ off. Curved horns and menacing black ink marks appeared on his body. His pale white skin turned ashy gray and jet black wings appeared on his back. Even his aura significantly increased.
“Mighty, mighty is Osiris in victory, and he is firmly established with life.” Composing the spell words of Osiris, Allen’s power doubled instantaneously.
“This is!?” Anahita stared at Allen in shock. Just what the heck is this power…!?
“May I have power in my heart, may I have power in my arms, may I have power in my legs, may I have power in my mouth, may I have power in all my members may I have power over invocation-offerings, may I have power over water ... air ... the waters ... streams ... riparian lands ... men who would harm me ... women who would harm me in the realm of the dead ... those who would give orders to harm me upon earth.”
Allen’s chilling Necromancer magic began.
Skeletons, Mummies, Ghouls, and even Doom Knights and Death Knights clattered as they rose from the ground. This was Allen’s first time of mass summoning undead but, he had succeeded in summoning probably almost half of the Mummy Lord’s summons.
“Let Ma’at feast on your souls, sinners!!” Booom!! Under Allen’s command, the undead immediately rushed towards the enemies.
Normally undead are enemies of the living, yet at this very moment, most of the undead, the ones who had been summoned by Allen, assisted Baishe and the others and only destroyed undead monsters!
War!
This certainly had become a war!
