The smell of morning dew…

The calming scent of nature…

The peaceful cries and singing of birds…

It really looked like they had come int another world.

The group encountered a few monsters –Though just like what Allen had said, all the monsters are extremely weak.

[ Bicorn ], [ Man faced Bull ], [ Treant ] and many kinds of animal and beast type monsters.

Along their way, the group even met groups of beast men; [ Centaurs ], [ Catpeople ], [ Lizardkin ] and many others.

They looked at them with a shock expression at first, causing the group to become extremely vigilant. However, that seems to be unnecessary as moments later, they started greeting them warmly.

Some even gave them presents like fruits and hunted games.

There were also those that looked like traveling merchants as they pulled their wagons while walking forward.

“So, you came from the outside… huh,” A merchant asked interestedly. It was a man in his middle-aged years.

He has huge Fox ears at the top of his head and bushy tail behind him. He was holding the reigns while talking with Jayla enthusiastically.

“Yeah,” Jayla nodded with an amiable smile.

They were hitchhiking a ride towards the city.

What they were riding now seems to be a caravan returning to the city.

“So this is the first time you came into this place… right?”

“Un,”

“Then, I guess I should you remind some things as a precaution,” The man that seems to be the leader of the caravan said amiably.

“Oh? Are there rules here?”

“Not really rules, actually. There are just places one can’t enter recklessly.” The man started explaining. “One of them was the place where we came from… you see that part of the forest?”

He pointed towards behind them, “That is the home of the Forest Elves,”

“Forest Elves?”

“Yeah, Forest Elves. They have prided themselves as the protector of the forest. Thus, any being that trespasses in there are chased away. If not, you will be captured by them and will be put to prison.”

Then, he turned towards the east side, “Did you see that dark looking gloomy forest?”

Jayla and the others who were sitting behind them also looked over and followed where he was pointing, “That is the territory of the Dark Elves. They are kinda cold and gloomy. They are always in an argument with the forest elves, territorial dispute or some sort. You should also not go there. They’re kinda arrogant and some even go to do terrible things, like attacking a caravan like us and stealing our merchandise. Though, other than that, as long as you didn’t kill their tribesmen, they will not take your life for no apparent reason.”

“Then, that is the Forest of Gato…”

“Gato…?”

“Hm, Gato. He was huge and powerful tiger beastman proclaiming that part of his territory. Although he’s reasonable at times but when he lost it or become too excited, he would act like a madman… he’s really dangerous. So don’t ever fight him…”

“Do you know his power rank?” Aileen asked curiously.

“Hm?” The man thought for a moment. “From what I had heard, there’s a rumor saying that he had already reached the peak of Knight realm. But that was three years ago, I don’t know now. I still haven’t seen him even once, after all. It’s a wise choice to avoid these kinds of people.”

“Any other else we need to know,”

“Let’s see… Ah! That part of the forest. You see that huge towering tree? That is the home of an infamous monster –The Griffon. Don’t ever go there and incur her wrath or else…”

BOOOM!!

Before the man could finish, an enormous explosion suddenly echoed in the entire forest. Even the ground trembled as if in fear.

“Oh no…” seeing the mushroom-like cloud, the Foxman's face instantly paled. “Someone stepped on the Griffin’s tail!!”

Jayla and the other's expression turned serious and all their gazes immediately turned towards the huge cloud mushroom.

Woosh!!

At this moment, something came flew out from the cloud.

Although it was still hundreds of meters distance away from their location, with augmented and superhuman vision, the group clearly saw a mighty looking Griffon floating in the air.

“Human, how dare you to disturb my rest!!” A deep feminine voice echoed out. Intense anger could be heard from within.

Even in this distance, the Griffon’s power put a heavy pressure on the caravan. All the horses and beasts turned wild and crazy, some even immediately lied down on the ground, tucking their heads between their front legs.

Jayla and the others also felt the intense pressure causing their expressions to instantly distort.

Shock colored their faces. They actually couldn’t fight against the pressure…!?

How strong is that Griffon actually…?

Among the group, only Alkrasha remained silent and unperturbed –Though a slight smile suffused her lips.

She stood up and stared at the Griffon’s direction.

“This is seriously crazy…” She muttered helplessly. She then jumped off the carriage and started walking towards the Griffon’s direction.

“Alkrasha…?” Alkrasha’s sudden action startled the group.

“Y, young lady! Where are you going?! That’s dangerous!” The man exclaimed n shock.

“Alkrasha!? Where are you going? Wait!” The group hurriedly jumped down and chased Alkrasha, confusion and doubt colored their faces.

Where is she going…?

Did she want to fight the Griffon…?

“Well, you see…” Alkrasha turned around and with a faint smile; she pointed her hand at the Griffon’s direction.

In that direction, something was happening.

“I didn’t disturb your rest! You birdbrain!” A disturbingly familiar voice rang out.

“… husband is there,” Alkrasha said with a wry smile.

“What!!!?”

“Hey, birdbrain!”

Allen called out as he looked at the Griffon above him.

“First of all, I was interested in that huge tree’s fruit and I just want to pick some… I don’t intend to disturb you at all!”

“Second! You’re the one sleeping nonchalantly behind that tree. And although I had noticed that you’re there, how would I possibly know that your tail was being naughty, circling around the tree? Of course, I would accidentally step on it when I tried climbing the tree!”

He literally steps on its tail!!

“How dare you!! Are you saying that it was my fault!!?” The Griffon roared in anger. “This is my home, you trespasser!!”

She really wanted to bit off this human’s head but she knows that he wasn’t a simple human. The power in that first clashed left her a deep impression.

Even now, her arm was still numbed.

Just what kind of body does this human have…?!

She actually lost in terms of power and toughness…?

Impossible…!!

“Miss lady, I know full well that I am at fault here for trespassing … but how the hell would I know that this is your house…!!?” Allen snorted mockingly.

“When I came here last time, you are not here!”

“I’m always here!!!” She roared in anguish.

Lies! You're certainly not here in the future!!

Allen felt that he was suffering injustice in broad daylight. He came here expecting a Fruit of Evolution –A kind of extremely rare fruit that helps beasts and animal type monsters evolve a step further.

In the previous life, he never heard about a Griffon protecting the tree… did it die…?

“No, you are not!” But all hell breaks loose if Allen accepts that he was really the on wrong here!

This is injustice!!

“Listen here lady, closely listen… even if it’s really my wrong to assume that this tree is unprotected, of course, I’m not saying I was really in the wrong, cause I’m really not… but let’s just say ‘If’ assume ‘If’, okay, ‘If’! It’s really my wrong; you still should not strike that kind fatal blow! What would have happened if something bad happened to me!? Can you even bear the responsibility of all the ladies and damsel in distress that needed my saving and protection in all thousand worlds!? Can you bear it!!? Huh?” Allen roared in unreasonable anger.

He can now express anger –although only slight since Lime’s restriction inside of him was getting stronger, he can now feel relieved that even without him doing anything, the fallen brother wouldn’t suddenly resurface.
