《Fantasial Apocalypse》Chapter 304: [ This power... ]

Idiot – Lilith can’t help but sighed at Allen’s decision.
However, indeed he doesn’t have any choice but to go. Virgil won’t stop until he found him.
The only thing that he could do now is that; before he could be eaten, Allen will instead rush there and eat him instead…
“When?” Lilith asked softly.
“As soon as possible. Thus, this world would probably be peaceful for a few years… Virgil won’t probably care about this world if I go up…”
Allen’s words startled Lilith.
“Are you stupid? Are you not afraid of dying?” She couldn’t help but gave him a white eye.
She glared at him and continued, “Just because you managed to kill Azazel doesn’t mean you can kill the rest! You are still not strong enough to contend with the Demon Legion! Even Mammon would be able to kill you so easily!!”
“… …”
“Don’t become so complacent because you managed to defeat Azazel. That was only done miraculously because of the World protecting you! You are still not–”
Lilith scowled angrily at Allen’s foolish decision but before she could finish her words, Allen spoke; “Everyone is afraid of death so how could I not be afraid of death? But since he wants to kill me that doesn’t mean I will just sit tight here and obediently wait for death.”
!!?
“I might not be strong enough to contend against him right now but that doesn’t mean, I will just suck my thumb and stay in this small world, waiting for him!” Allen’s eyes glowered. “I will go up and become so strong he won’t be able to notice he’s already dead…”
“… …”
Allen stared at Lilith. His face showing his firm determination. “Just like what I was before, once I make my mind, I don’t get swayed. However, the longer I stayed in this beautiful world, my determination waver.”
“I don’t know if I can survive in the end… Virgil’s power might already be miles away from me… but I will go and finish what ‘I’ had started. That is my mission.” Allen said calmly and yet the tone seemed to unbending as steel.

“But if I see them,” Allen suddenly turned his head and look at the horizon. Thinking about his family in this world… “I started to fear my death…” Haha, Allen laughed dryly.
“That is certainly unlike me… I know… but that is what humans are.” Allen stared at Lilith. That is what defines human. Fear... “That is why I will go… not to kill or defeat Virgil but to survive… I will go back and return to this world.”
A faint smile suffused his lips and a gentle but pained expression appeared on his face, startling Lilith. “That is why, if turning my back on this beautiful world for a moment will give me the ticket to return once again… then I shall do so.”
“I will seek the power that can kill Virgil and I know that is not in this world but up there… And I will surely find it!”
“… …”
“So wish me luck, Lilith… Having you on my side after all this, wouldn’t be so bad –though spare me with that fickleness of yours…” Allen was smiling, his eyes shining.
Lilith laughed softly too.
“That is one of the things I don’t want to hear from you,”
Lilith looked at Allen with a smile all over her face. Her lake like pupils had no longer their peaceful expression. Instead, they were full of ripples.
Lilith might be extremely famous for her affairs but aren't the legendary Solomon not better than her...?
Both of them went silent for a moment.
“However, I will consider it…” Lilith smiled as she leaned her head towards Allen. Her cheeks gained a rosy touch. Being so near to her, Allen could smell the fragrance of her body and then finally their lips gently kissed.
A pure kiss.
Getting lost in the soft touch, the time seemed to stand still, making it impossible for him to tell how long it was until they separated.
“That is if you really return…” For some unknown reason, Lilith wanted to hope for the youth's survival.

“I will..” Allen smiled confidently.

… …
In a certain house located in the middle of a huge forest.
A girl with a silver-white hair and red eyes was sitting on a chair while staring through the window.
“Are they looking for me…? No, that shouldn’t be possible. Why would they?” She paused for a moment.
“Then why are Celestial Demons descended here?”
“Is it because… we disturb the flow… of time?” The Silver-haired girl’s red eyes narrowed.
As she was deep in thought… suddenly, “The Monster Kings...”
“Hm? This power…” As she continued to observe that particular direction, suddenly she felt an unfamiliar power.
“How is it possible that I can’t recognize this power? Its level was already at the Monster Kings…” The silver-haired girl’s eyes widened in shock!
The development of events in that particular location was out of her expectation.
“No way… ‘he’ can’t possibly reach this state in this short amount of time!!” A certain image of a boy flashed through her mind. The one she had given the possibility to become a Monster King… the mortal that could possibly help her in the upcoming event…
But this speed of growth is unbelievable!! If he really was the one… then… how did it happen?
The Monster King Class can’t possibly be the reason!!
As she was thinking this, a hope sparks within her.
What ‘they’ did was a huge gamble. Especially, disturbing the flow of time–and space and changing destiny with their own hands… as a God, that a very serious and grave crime!
However, they did it. Even sacrificing several lives of Deities, all for the survival of all the worlds.
They decided to put their hopes to mortals who, in many worlds and timelines, created many legends, overcoming many impossible odds and tribulations and saved several worlds.
The greatest creation of the One True God.
The race that holds infinite potential that even the Gods can’t compare.
The mere mortals who were underestimated by many Deities as useless and troublesome imitations but actually has the possibility to surpassed Gods; in culture, tradition, technology and et cetera. Besides, in many legends, it wasn't Gods who always managed to save the world from its peril but heroes... and are these Heroes, Gods?
No! They were none other than humans!
Humans that were extremely weak and frail but carrying an enormous of potential that even Gods were inferior too!
- Carrying this hope and beliefs, several Gods gathered and moved…
Although she was the one who started it but she was actually still skeptical about it… The enemies are not something that can be defeated easily. Even the Gods were facing their tribulations because of them…
And yet…
Hoping for mortals to resolve them is certainly a very unwise decision!
However, at this very moment, the silver-haired girl reinforced her decision as hope spark inside of her!
That boy’s existence had become the proof of their hope!!
She stood up!
If it was really him and he came, finally reaching this point in this short amount of time, then… all hope is not lost!
“It’s time for me to do something!”
“That promise… I will make you fulfill it boy – no, Old friend…!” The girl’s lips curled upward. She then raised her head and looked at the ceiling of her own little house that she had already gotten used to. Complicated feelings surged through her, “Hela, is this also your doing…? Is this your means of helping us…?”
“Nevertheless, I will give my thanks at a later date… I will be using your champion as I see fit…”
“I hope you don’t mind,” A grin appeared as her eyes shine in darkness like a predator of the night.
Boom! An earthquake suddenly occurred and the entire building shook violently.
“I’ll take that as a yes…” She smirked. She then turned around and started cleaning up. Humming as she moved.

The Edge of Endless
Due to some unforseen and significant life events, this story will be on hiatus for a time. Reborn into a strange but familiar world, Alex makes it his mission to uncover the mysteries of governments, gods, and the arcane realm known only (and inaccurately) as the Unending Depths. Slowly but surely, he grows in ability and meets new and interesting people. tEoE is an epic fantasy LitRPG with a focus on plot, writing, and hopefully original twists on the standard formula of 'MC picks cool class, levels up'. Give it a read if any of the following appeals to you: > 3000-5000 words per chapter, chapters released at least once per week, usually several times. Expect good grammar. > Story focus on illusions, secrets, and traps (along with the usual combat and character stuff). > Progression fantasy, but one where progress is meant to feel earned, moderately paced, and reasonable. Some advantages, but not big, unfair ones. > If a random reader can work out that putting a big rock in a bag of holding, lifting it, and then dropping the rock is free energy, then so could an adventurer who's owned a bag of holding for twenty years. Side characters have brains too. > Blue boxes! Levels! [Classes]! [Skills]! Loot! > No uncomfortable sexist undertones. Ambivalent about including relationships. Definitely no harems. There are a number of arcs planned and this will be ongoing for some time. I am very appreciative of the kind reviews and comments left so far.
