《Fantasial Apocalypse》Chapter 279: [ New Path ]

Ability, power, level, and … wealth… this kind of gap which appeared to be of two different worlds between him and them caused the others to have a giddy feeling as though they were dreaming.
Hetch! Is this the difference of a chosen by heaven compared to normal commoners like them??
But still, unique and legendary… isn’t that too much of compensation with just a piece of dangerous land. Besides, with his power, his words can carry more weight than any others. They doubt someone would stand up against him without being reduced to a pulp…
Even big organizations such as the church would need to step aside when he walks on the street…
Then why is he giving them so precious items seeing that they possess not so little contradiction between them?
Isn’t this helping a potential enemy??
Daniel and Mark can’t help but stare at Allen in doubt and suspicion. Though for Maria, Bernard, and Yoyo, they were not actually thinking that deep. They are just happy that they can possibly power up again~
Reasons or whatnot, how could they reject the possibility of increasing their combat abilities.
Allen noticed the change in aura from Daniel and Mark, thus he couldn’t help but stop. He turned his head and said, “Don’t think too much, I just don’t want to owe somebody…” Allen said while shrugging.
“Just think of it as a necessity for the future, me giving you power despite the bad blood between us. Even if I didn’t like it a bit, if you become stronger in the future, that would certainly help me when the time comes to confront the enemy… I don’t like to say this but I can’t win alone~”
Allen thought about last advice. Although he was confident in his power, indeed, Virgil wasn’t the only enemy.
In RPG’s, novels, manga, and movies, before a hero reaches the demon king, a group will block his path, calling themselves the heavenly kings or whatnot, protecting the last boss… fighting against them alone is certainly a bit too much.

If he wouldn’t deplete his energy in the process, he would possibly deplete his vigor… drinking too much Viagra is dangerous, you know~
Then why not push the small fries to the others as he goes straight to the last boss?
Pretty efficient and cost-effective.
“Are you talking about the demons?” Mark asked.
“No,” Allen replied. “Right now, there’s only a small chance of the demon war happening in this world,”
Daniel and the others frowned. “What!?”
“What are you talking about?”
“I had already killed Bataliel and it seems like he was the mastermind behind the demon war in the previous world… of course, the danger still hasn’t subsided.”
!!?
“The enemy might target this world again so I don’t know what will happen in the future now…” Allen shrugs.
“The enemy? Who are you talking about?” Daniel asked his nerves still excited.
Allen’s words were just that much of a shock for him.
“Not sure, but I think I found a clue.” Still a clue, after all, no matter how much obvious it was, it was still nothing but conjecture that has not yet proven. Bataliel’s master and Virgil might be the same being but in an off chance, it was not…
Oh well, I’ll just worry it when that time comes.
!!?
“… But, I don’t have the decency to share that with you.” Allen smiled as he waved his hand at them.
“Go to Mia, she might answer your questions… the truth we have found relating to all that happened up until now.”
“There is more to this war than meets the eye,” Allen muttered. He doesn’t want to be the one to tell them as they would certainly tackle the truth about him and he wasn’t kind enough to explain himself to them.
That’s too troublesome.
“Laters.”

“What?! Hey, wait!! I still need to talk!” Daniel called out. He wanted to know what was Allen talking about but Allen wouldn’t stop for him.
“I still need to do something, so I’m hurrying up,” Allen responded as he climbed up on the Lycan Queen’s back. “Or what? You gonna say something like, ‘this isn’t over’ or something lame like that, no thanks…”
Allen grins and the Lycan Queen jumped into the air.
“Allen!!”
… …
… …
The moment Allen left, Daniel and the others had an expression as if a heavy burden had been released from them.
Carrying the name of heroes and kings, the pressure on them was already great.
And now with Allen’s appearance who was exceedingly abnormal, the pressure they felt made them hardly be able to breathe.
Becoming a real King just a year after the Apocalypse began, this brat was really abnormal. It was as if they were seeing ghosts in broad daylight.
It seemed like in the history of mankind in this world and the previous world; nobody was as ridiculously strong as Allen was… Living in the same era as he really made them feel inferior and lacking compared to him.
Daniel sighed as he stared at the direction where Allen was heading and said, “Let’s go…” before he turned around.
Comparing themselves to that monster would just kill them due to depression.
However, provoked by his appearance, they felt an urge to grow stronger.
Even stronger than the one they had been in the previous world.
Daniel and the others had no choice but to strive as hard as they could. Although they could not compare to Allen when improving themselves, but they did have significant progress!
Normally, they would not expend all of their efforts into becoming stronger as they want to prioritize to stabilize the world first as they believed that reaching King rank doesn’t mean overnight but gradual step by step process. They needed a long time of training and power-ups to broke through that realm.
Even if they are returnees, above that of normal Superhumans in terms of knowledge and experience, the King Realm was one that could only be stepped into after a few years of training …
However, now, the former five kings of Dawn Alliance did not think like this anymore, as Allen was a precedent in this matter. The fast improvement they thought they had was as slow as a snail in comparison to Allen, this monster!
Allen’s feat of stepping into the King Realm told them that it was not impossible to reach that realm in a very short time. The only reason why it did not happen was that they are still not strong yet!
They did not long to reach that realm in just one year just like that idiot monster but as long as they could attain the King Realm within two to three years, then that would be a huge success that surpassed their previous lives.
After all, Allen was an abnormal genius, a one–of–a–kind monster in the world.
Perhaps, even in this millions of people and hundreds of returnees, another one like him would not be born.
But he is him and they are them!
With renewed determination, Daniel and the others started walking a new path they had found.
We won’t lose! They screamed inside of them as their eyes burned even stronger.
Just wait... we will surely regain those thrones that were once ours.

Into the Feywild
I've never considered myself to be much of a fighter. In fact, I had no notion what it was all about. I couldn't envision a war amongst people, especially my own. In this odd realm, a timid half-elf has little chance of success. Especially with minimal experience. I've only fought as a means of survival, self-defense, if you will. I had known only humans, so the concept of elven culture and family was foreign to me. And yet, here I am, in the midst of a tremendous battle between two Feys and a God. I never planned for things to turn out this way, or for me to get caught in the great shambles of war—a conflict between good and evil. My two companions are practically strangers to me, knowing nothing but my name. This journey was not something I had planned or wished for, but it was what the Gods gave me.◈ ◈ ◈Meli, a young half-elf traveling the Material Plane, is unexpectedly captured while on her travels, only to become a member of an odd group of individuals. Crane, an older wizard castaway from his college for practicing unnatural magic, and Kurky, a youthful and lively gnome who is as fascinating as they come. Meli's curiosity gets the better of her as she chooses to accompany them on their not so concrete journey into the Feywild. Little did they know of the constant war raging within this woodsy plane. Maybe Meli will discover everything she's been looking for, embracing love and pleasure along the way. Or perhaps she'll become a part of something bigger. © Copyright to EmmeMeadows 2021
