《Fantasial Apocalypse》Chapter 248: [ The smell of blood... ]

As Garth was having his one-man fantasy,
“Hm?” Suddenly the small girl stopped as she stared at the hooded figure in front of them. Her eyes never leaving the figure, curiosity and wonder flashing across her beautiful doe eyes.
“What is it, little Ciel?” Asked the teenage girl, curiously.
She then followed the child’s gaze and found the hooded figure standing while leaning on the wall.
“Excuse me, are you okay?” Stella asked.
“… …”But the hooded figure didn’t answer and instead stared fixedly at Ciel. Her golden hair drip over the huge hood showing the figure’s gender.
Seeing this, Garth’s eyes sparkled like shining gems as he hurriedly fixed his collar and stepped forward. “Hello, miss… can I help you?”
“… …”
“Ahem, I’m not boasting but, I’m actually pretty popular in this area, they called me Garth the Magnificent; the newly appointed leader of the Bianchi Family’s main force… if you need any –”
“Uncle Garth,”
Garth immediately started hitting her, though he was magnificently ignored – indeed, true to the title, Garth the Magnificent. However, before he could finish his sentence, he was suddenly tugged by Ciel.
“Ciel, this is adult stuff, stand back…” Garth winked at her and then resumed his gaze to the woman.
However, the small girl pointed at the hooded figure and suddenly said, “That lady smells of blood…”
!!?
“What!!?” Hearing her words, Garth immediately acted and his body was covered in Iron Man armor as he grabbed Ciel and Stella, jumping back a few meters away. He then placed Ciel behind him, Garth and Stella shielded their small niece.
“Hoho,” A faint smile appeared on the woman’s face as she raised her head and took her hood. “What an incredible child,” she let out a sigh of astonishment.
“Who are you?!” Garth asked as he directed his palms at her. His voice was already devoid of that usual playboy and hedonistic tone of him as he stared at the woman seriously.

Stella also did the same, her expression serious and the objects around her; Trashcan, poles, rocks, metal bars, fence and et cetera started floating around her, all aimed at the woman.
“Child, give me your name…” The woman ignored Garth and Sara as if she didn’t saw them, displeasing the two siblings.
“My name is Ciel Flare Bando… Miss lady, why do you smell of blood. Did you kill someone?” The innocent little girl whose beauty seemed almost ethereal snuck a look from behind the siblings. She was tugging on Garth’s clothes and hiding behind him while blinking her eyes cutely.
“Hehehe,” The woman giggled sweetly as she started walking towards them. She seemed harmless but Garth and Stella for some reason felt as if the atmosphere was suddenly turned heavy – no, dangerous!
Garth and Stella felt their bodies give off a danger signal. It was the sixth sense they had obtained through numerous life and death battles!
This woman!
Garth’s forehead was covered in sweat.
Even in the chilly air, several beads of sweat could be seen. It was only once he had felt them flow down past his nose and to his chin that he noticed the change in his body.
His shoulders were trembling.
Garth could feel that she was really strong. His senses were screaming at him warning him of danger. She wasn’t someone he could deal with. Even if he used all of his power, he was afraid it wouldn’t be enough.
His knees felt like they would give way beneath him.
The central axis he needed to keep his balance had been horribly shaken – no, his spirit was shaken.
Damn it! He felt like he was a puppy who had been thrown into a cage with a wild beast
With no hesitation, Garth immediately grabbed back Ciel and Stella and tried flying away. He somehow feels a dangerous sensation coming from the woman – and hell knows, that sensation was extremely comfortable.

“Let’s go!”
He turned around and grab them and flew.
… …
... ...
Garth looked at the woman and felt that she was dangerous and so he turned around, “let’s go" grab them and flew.
… …
... ...
Garth narrowed his eyes and felt the danger coming from the woman and hastily turned around, “Let’s – eh?!” What?
Why did Garth felt dejavu?
Didn’t he do it already, no, not once but twice… what the heck is going on?!!
Garth’s eyes widened. What? What happened?
He then turns around and stared at her sister and found that she was also staring at her, wide eyes open… completely shock!
“Where are you going?” The woman’s soft and lovely voice echoed in Garth’s mind.
This voice immediately grabbed the sibling’s attention and they whip their heads towards the incoming woman. She was already less than 3 meters away from them.
“F*ck!” Garth couldn’t help but cursed as he spread his arms protectively on the two girls behind him. “What did you do!!?”
“Please calm your mind, mortal…” Finally, for the first time they met, the woman addressed Garth and look at him. “My appointment is with that little girl… if you don’t want to die, step aside.”
“F*ck you! If you want to touch my family then stepped over my corpse first!!” Garth cried out as he unleashes pulse beams towards the woman. However, the woman only waved her arm and the pulse beam disappeared.
“So be it,” The woman muttered as opened her palms and in an instant, a black sword with a hilt made up of bones materializes.
“Stella, take Ciel and get away from here!” Garth said with a heavy tone. His expression determined.
“What the heck are you saying!!? As if I will leave you behind!!” Tears started accumulating from Stella’s eyes. She too felt the despair of the situation. The woman’s power was obviously higher than them!
However, as if she would leave her brother behind!!
If she dies, she dies! She would never forsake her family!!
“Go, Stella!! Take Ciel away!!” Garth roared as he prepared to engage, “But” Stella was still hesitant. However, as if ignoring their moving scene,
“Miss Lady, are you a bad guy?” for who knows when Ciel had already appeared beside the woman and stared at asked her curiously.
“Ciel!!” Garth and Stella were alarmed and hurriedly rushed towards them, but before they could touch her, they were blown away by something invisible. It’s as if the wind formed a wall, pushing them away.
“Of course this lady, isn’t a bad guy~,” said the girl who just blasted two youths away, causing them to crash on the wall.
The woman ignored the siblings and crouched in front of the little girl. Her expression was beautiful while having a warm smile, devoid of any malice.
“I’m looking for my master,” The woman put down his sword on the ground and placed her hands on each of Ciel’s shoulders. “Do you know my lord… little girl?”
???
"He goes by the name - Solomon before but now, he was called Dante..."
"Do you know him?" The golden-haired woman smiled at Ciel. Her eyes gentle, completely unlike what she had shown in front of Garth and Stella.

Living in Paradise
The first thing I saw when I woke up was a group of people standing over me shouting "Happy Birthday!!!". Immediately after they start debating what type of world I came from and calling me 'William'. Later on I would learn that everyone here is reborn from another world and many children come with magic or superpowers or other gifts leftover from their old lives. I came from a world that was, to me, typical modernity. To them it was pretty boaring with the only thing interesting about my world being was a higher than average tech level for a non-spacefaring civilization; technology that wouldn't even work in this new world. All I brought with me was a peculiar mindset and the strong suspicion that there must be something more to life. Once everyone started to clear out my mother took me up in her arms, explained how the world works, and then stabbed me in the neck with a knife. I got better. -------------------- This story was written from the central idea of a simple question: What if a videogame like world, with all the normal video-game staples and tropes, was actually a real world? How would that work? How would people understand the universe around them? What sort of weirdness would the world appear to have from the point of view of someone who recognizes the odd nature of the place? And finally, if left to its own devices, how would this type of world ultimately develop?
