A great number of people gathered in the conference room of the Bianchi Mansion.

It would not have been wrong to call them Soldiers and Fantasy Warriors as they each wore fantasy looking armors, weapons and there were even those who were wearing bunny ears.

It seems like this kind of fashion has become a trend in Italica due to their skill set; Hop; Increasing Jumping power and Danger Sense, which amplify the user’s danger instincts. It was made by a famous skill tailor using the ears of the Easter Bunnies found in the second big Dungeon, Grassland of the Wild.

They were also those who were wearing big robes making them looked like magicians. The men and women both young and old who had been called there were exchanging all sorts of information and communicating with allies from every group.

“What is the situation?” asked Mia who was sitting in front of a roundtable.

“Early this morning, about three corpses were found. Two Superhumans, classified as D and E-rank Superhumans of the guild Athenian and Heart of Hearts. Another one was a civilian…”

“Cause of Death, Decapitation and thrust to the heart.”

“Suspect?”

“Nothing came up… no clue, no witness…”

“No witness?? Is this a freaking ghost town?! Three days of continuous killing and you said no clue and no witness?!!” Mia angrily smashed her fist on the table. "Are all of you joking!?"

“… …”

The people sitting around the roundtable went silent.

It was already three days since this all started.

In the first day, four corpses were found near the entrance of the city, brutally killed; decapitation, severed into two and bodies scattered as if someone placed a hand grenade on the victim’s body and exploded.

All thought it was just a Superhuman running amok, a killer.

Thus, the security was heightened. But then on the second day, another two corpses were found and now three – still with no witness or clue. The only thing they know was the word, DANTE which was found in every scene with some unknown symbols or language they can’t understand. Thus, concluding this serial killing.

However, that was only known by the public what they didn’t know was that Mia and the others suspected that this killer was from the ruins. As prior to the killings that had happened in the city, seven superhumans training inside the ruins was also killed, no-- slaughtered in cold blood.

Mia's short golden hair was pulled back in a small ponytail. She was wearing custom style T-shirt with an ‘I Love A’ printed in the chest part, and violet leggings with rosy patterns.

“Mia, calm down,” Allen said calmly. It was just Allen’s clone currently sitting at Celty’s lap. “Since we can’t find the culprit of this incident then it’s better to turn our attention to another matter.”

Allen’s words confused the others. Another matter?

Mia also looks at him. “You mean the bastards who wake up whatever it was inside that ruins?”

Allen nodded. He wasn’t certain but the culprit of this incident couldn’t just appear all of a sudden and wreak havoc. It must have some stimulus for it to happen.

Since it wasn’t a Dungeon, monsters living inside can leave the Ruin’s premises so Mia and the others had already expected this. But this wasn’t just a work of some monsters – it’s almost the same work as Night Reaper, but that monster was already in Allen’s hands.

Thus, it should be a work of a different monster – one that could go in and out the city without causing any suspicions.

A Humanoid!

Or at least had a human appearance!

Besides Allen had felt something deep within the ruins before, immediately advising Mia to not explore it recklessly… and this happened.

“I already send Lieri and Flor in the ruins to investigate…” Mia shared the same suspicion and she can’t help but become furious!

It wasn’t the work of her Family or one of her subordinates, after all, every member sent in that Dungeon was filtered carefully – only those extremely loyal to the Family and would never betray or disobey any orders were allowed to enter the ruins!

Thus, since she had put her words down, no one would dare to break it.

Then, the only probability left was that it was done by an outsider!!

Thinking about this, Mia’s face burned with fury. Do they dare disobey the Family? It seems like just because she was acting nice they thought she was a kitten! Fools!

They seem to have forgotten the origin of their family!!

“I think it was the work of one of the Guilds. Aside from [ Athenian ], there are other three guilds inside the city; [ Liberty of Freedom ], [ Heart of Hearts ] and [ Great Arms ]. If one look closely, [ Liberty of Freedom ] and [ Great Arms ] has the highest possibility…”

“The investigation has already been in the process for these guilds…” Mia stated, and her gaze sharpened slightly.

Mia sighed as she suddenly felt that there is still to it than killing…

Just what is the monster’s objective?

Who or what is this DANTE?

Is the monster coming here for revenge on this man called Dante?

Mia narrowed her eyes and felt that something is coming…

In this serious atmosphere, Allen’s heart suddenly trembled and he got up from Celty’s lap to look into the distance. He frowned, his brows wrinkling tightly. He slowly relaxed and murmured: “Perhaps I’m being oversensitive.”

“Allen, what’s up!?” Celty who was hugging Allen’s kid-sized body noticed and asked.

Mia also turned her head towards Allen.

However, this sensation… Allen’s eyes narrowed. It can’t be ignored.

“Celty, Mia, come with me…”

Everyone looked at Allen’s small but cute figure slowly walking towards the door. His expression serious.

Mia and Celty glanced at each other before standing up and followed Allen.

It was just before dawn.

A wet sound could be heard.

A white hand was pressed against a concrete wall. The owner of the hand was a beautiful golden-haired woman wearing a hood and black trench coat.

She surveyed the entire city with a golden gaze, indifferent and cold.

Her eyes writhed around unnaturally and a powerful look of doubt could be seen on her face. “I can feel my lord – though weak, but there is surely a presence… however, since it’s so weak, almost undetectable, I can’t pinpoint where…”

Her breath was hot.

“I really miss father… I just want to be with him!!”

“But your father had something to do… adult stuff.”

“Adult stuff? What’s that?”

“It means only done by adults, kids like you can’t join…”

“Bleh, mother also always say that… I hate adults! Mom and Dad should just play with me always!”

A teenager and a small girl entered the back alley with loud footsteps. …No, technically, there was a third person with them. A teenage boy wearing a bored look was following them.
