《Fantasial Apocalypse》Chapter 224: [ War against Aswangs (2) ]

Boom! Boom! Boom!
Explosions after explosions rang out. They didn’t come only on the soldier’s side but also from the monster’s side.
The humans were not the only one who knows how to play fireworks but also, monsters. They even seemed like they are natural arsonists compared to humans.
Not far away from the battlefield, located in the back, humanoid figures wearing hoods was busy chanting unknown words, shooting explosive magic one after another. There was even fireball looking creatures shooting fireballs and flamethrowers to the soldiers and superhumans.
Mangkukulam also called as witches or sorcerers appeared, hiding behind the big trees.
Santelmo, a sentient ball of fire and much more…
The battle was getting heated as monsters appeared one after another.
“Kill those witches first!!” Mayla cried out while grilling a horseman in front of her.
“Incoming!! Look out!!” A soldier holding a rifle and shooting the monsters around him yelled.
In the air, dozens of fireballs were flying. Mayla narrowed her eyes and leaped out, punching and kicking the fireballs while those out of reach were shot down by her flamethrower.
At this moment, a new group of monsters appeared.
Not so far away, Mayla and the others saw the new monsters; Bungisngis, Kapre, Manananggal, Sarangay, Tikbalang, Wakwak and most of all, they were followed by 5 – 6 meters stone and mud golems. The number was big, at least more than four to five dozens.
Why is the monster coming in wave now?!!
Seeing this, the Superhumans fighting were alarmed. Although there were attacks before but it was only a dozen per groups, not like this, they were coming in waves… just what is happening here!!?
“Gyaaaaahhhh!!!”
Suddenly, among the soldiers who were standing at the front suddenly screamed and cried out in pain. They vomit and started coughing, however, when soldiers tried helping them, they suddenly started vomiting insects… that’s right, they were vomiting crickets, cockroaches, grasshoppers, Beatles and much more!!
“Aahhh!!”
“Hii!!”
One after another, screams in fear appeared.
“Mambabarang!!!” One soldier cried out.
Mambabarang or summoners that use insects and spirits to enter the body of any person they targeted.
But how? It needed hairs and some that could be used as catalysts… don’t tell me!!?
“Retreat!! Retreat!” Mayla cried out. Having your hair pulled out with you noticing during battle is never surprising.

All the soldiers and Superhumans immediately returned and gathered in front of the gate.
“Miss Sara, is Mr. Allen not going to help us?” Mayla can’t help but ask. Seeing the incoming monsters, although, with their forces, it can’t certainly defeat them but apart from the Superhumans, a huge number of soldiers will certainly lose their life.
“Oh.” Aileen grins. “Surely you should know him, right Mayla?”
“Well enough… to guess…”
Sara responded with a faint smile; “Yeah, no question… he should be somewhere watching us…”
??
“Allen is watching us…”
“What?” Mayla couldn’t understand but before she could ask again monsters one after another brushed past them and attacked the monsters. They came from behind them - it meant only one thing and that was, they come from the city.
However, these monsters had different appearances. Unlike the monsters they had seen before, these monsters were different. Beasts and animal looking creatures.
Many soldiers and Superhumans was alarmed and started pointing their guns at the monsters that passed them but Aileen’s voice rang out in the entire area.
“DON’T SHOOT OR HURT THOSE BEASTS IF YOU DON’T WANT TO DIE!!” She wasn’t threatening them but only giving them a warning. Her voice attracted all the people and their attention all focused at Aileen.
Sara also stepped forward. “Those beasts aren’t enemy but friends. Just ignore them, no, support them and kill those monsters instead. They are from my lover… and don’t even think about scratching them or else you would never be able to bear the consequences!!” Her voice ice cold. Though with her current appearance, it was certainly intimidating!
Mayla can’t help but smile wryly. Although she prefers if that guy came and just deal with them in an instant, however, of course, Allen can’t do that. Allen found it troublesome and boring besides, Allen can’t babysit those other Superhumans.
They needed power up and Allen wouldn’t steal those opportunities from them.
Battles mold warriors and heroes, if they become spoiled; Allen would just instead ruin them.
However, after seeing the monster golems, Allen’s lips curled into a smile. He was finally showing himself…
The real Mud Demon Golem was not among them but, he was finally moving. And he might even be responsible for these monster attacks…

He will eventually show himself…
“Soldiers stand back and retreat!” Mayla raised her voice. “Leave this fight to the Superhumans!”
… And the fight once again started another round.

... ...
At the top of the tallest tower, Allen watched the battle.
Cling! Clang!
“Young Master, I bought some drinks and snacks…” Laura said after climbing the steel stair while bringing a woven basket.
“Thanks, Laura,” Allen said, making Laura blushed.
“You’re welcome, Young Master…” Laura smiled bashfully.
At this moment, Mireya was bored and suddenly wanted to play. She stared at Allen, scooped Grim and replaced it in sitting on his lap. Grim was woken up annoyed but when Mireya placed it on her lap instead and started brushing its fur, it snorted and went back to sleep again.
Mireya’s actions hadn’t gone unnoticed and Laura who was sitting beside them started to blush furiously. As for Dakna and Draia, they started to frown.
Mireya ignored the surroundings and raised her arms and put it around Allen's neck.
Allen flashed a faint smile as he lifted his hand, pinching Mireya’s sharp chin, lifting her head. “Something wrong?” His eyes flashed an enigmatic glint.
Mireya smiled in response and leaned forward, grabbing Allen’s lips and started kissing him passionately. Her hand hovered around the back of Allen’s head.
During their intimate actions, Allen’s finger had already moved away from her glossy skin, but at the second it was moving away, his finger conveniently raised open the clothing near her navel, exposing more of her skin.
However, one must not forget, Allen was still wearing the grey glove; [ Hathor’s Touch ] and in a blink of an eye, the part that Allen touched started to gradually itch and her skin also thirsted for the counterpart’s gentle caress.
“Are you that bored?” Allen mused as he stared at Mireya’s reddening face and she seems to have started breathing heavily. His sight never separated from her pretty face, furthermore that towering chest of hers. Because her clothes were ruffled from Allen’s actions, she seemed lovelier.
Mireya nodded. Her eyes expressing what she wanted.
Mireya thought she had missed him so much. She had wanted to see him for a very long time now.
When she died, that look of him crying while holding her body was extremely painful and she never wanted to part with him. Fortunately, the Gods have their eyes open and give her another chance to see her most beloved again.
She traveled for a long time and look for him, greatly longing for his warmth.
He was the only thing she ever wanted in the previous world and that would never change. Being separated to him even a second feels excruciating.
This smell… Mireya sniffed Allen’s scent. She always loves this smell… this is the only smell in the world that can calm her down and can also arouse her so much like this. Like drinking aphrodisiac, she wanted to be with him and do all things with him.
“However, let’s do it later,” Allen’s hand continued caressing the sensitive locations on her body. “…in the room. Although doing it here in the open seems thrilling and exciting enough, but, there is still a battle ongoing.”
Allen’s hand moved back and forth around the twin peaks on her chest as well as on top of her sensitive vulva. Using the item [ Hathor’s Touch ], even a cooked woman was unable to endure the teasing of Allen’s hand, thus, no long after, “Oh–“ She moaned softly.
“Do be satisfied with this for now,” Allen smiled mischievously as he leaned down his head and give her a passionate kiss.
“Oh— Wu —“
Mireya’s moans became louder; the intoxication of her body began to increase. Laura who was watching them was already red almost similar to that of an apple and yet, she never averted her eyes from them. What a lewd girl…
Dakna and Draia were, of course, was doing similar to Laura as they watched and listened to Mireya’s moans and groans and for some reason, they couldn’t help but continued watching in interest.
Probably, this was what boys who undergo puberty felt when they opened the Pandora’s Box for the first time. The Pandora’s Box known as Pornography. That moment when they click that one website and become engrossed with it…
Ah so tempting like devil's voice...

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

From Fake Dreams
The Magus Killer was dying. He had done all he could to be a Hero and save as many people as he could. He killed his father to do it. He killed his adopted mother to do it. He killed his wife in the hopes to put an end to the need to do it ever again. He failed in rescuing his daughter as a result of his efforts. All he had left was a cursed and failing body, a sizable yet antiquated home in Fuyuki Japan, and his adoptive amnisiac son whose life he had destroyed in the first place. And then the dreams came. Dreams of War, Fire, Curses, unborn Gods, Heroes, and Monsters. Dreams of unresolved conflicts, promises, dreams, and tasks. Dreams with his nearly clueless son in the middle of it all. The Magus Killer was dying. But he could still prepare for what was to come. And fortunately, that was something he was still terrifyingly exceptional at. Currently at chapter 60 on FF.net

The First Half
"Kyran Hall, the Goddess Sada bestows you this gift." With those words, his life changed dramatically. He was granted a System, unique among all others, and abilities unseen before in the world. Granted boundless potential, he and his party would soon rise to prominence, becoming some of the greatest adventurers the world had ever see- *Ahem* Sorry, I've been told by the MC to say he's just an average guy. Nothing special about him. A traditional fantasy story with a (hopefully) new twist on the magic system. There's adventure, combat, monsters, magic, banter, and of course: pork belly. I'm new to writing fiction, and still learning to be more efficient in my brainstorming and editing process. If you have any feedback or suggestions, let me know! If you see any typos, mock me as much as you want because I should feel bad about it.
