《Fantasial Apocalypse》Chapter 205: [ Awakening ]

The intense sounds stopped.
The vibration of the earth and the atmosphere fell silent.
The people watching were stunned and their eyes widened to their limits. Their jaws and hanged open as they couldn’t believe what just had transpired. Some weaker people were even sent tumbling down from the shockwaves caused by the deafening explosion.
“It seems to have ended.”
It was a little silent, after that remarkably big explosion. The powerful shock wave that crossed the grassland and even reached the forest and mowed down the trees and everything had stopped.
Not just Mia, but everyone on top of the hill realized that it was the end of the duel.
““............””
Aileen, Garth Stella, Flor, and Lieri, who both boasted of high stats and level too, fell silent. No, they couldn’t say anything. They were cautious while all of their body hair was bristling.
The last blow. They were speechless at that too powerful pressure. Though they knew who fired it, still, the power surge couldn’t be seen in an optimistic view. It made them realize defeat, without even fighting, and they couldn’t help but feel the presence of a conqueror.
That looks like the might of a God…
A power that had already transcended human limits… no, it was already at the realm of Gods.
Destruction can be easily performed… such power, if hits a city, can kill thousands in a blink of an eye.
Is that power really held by a human…?
“That’s the power of the Thunder Emperor…”
“How can he possess such kind of power… it already transcended humanity…”
Garth, Stella, Aemie, Xia Yi, Leo, Garth and much more who had met Allen before was startled.
It hadn’t been long since they met him, but everyone’s breath was taken away as they couldn’t imagine that violent presence had come from the figure of the ordinary and usual Allen in their memories.
Therefore. In the midst of that silence, only Mia remained calm.
“You can’t be befuddled forever, you know.”
““Huh!?””
With that single phrase, everyone quickly came back their senses.
“That is the standard of a King…” Mia said with a smile. She then jumped, rushing towards Allen’s location.

The people who couldn’t understand her words stayed still for a moment before following her.
--- ---
Mia curled herself while covering her naked body with a blanket when Allen awoke.
It was such an odd night. Allen slept in vague, unsatisfying pulse, snippets of dreams floating through his mind and dancing out of reach when he squinted to bring them into sharper focus.
What the hell was that last night? Allen felt like he had a weird dream…
He had already forgotten most of the details but he gets the feeling it was something important. Is this what they call a ‘Flag’?
His memory gets all fuzzy whenever he tries to recall however hard he tries, he just can’t remember anything.
… No, I have this creepy inkling that I was made not to remember!
Allen shook his head while frowning. He pulled Mia towards his bosom and hugged her bare body.
It was already several days ( 2 – 3 days ) since he had fought the two Dragon Sisters. Of course, he had not killed them.
At the very last moment, he pulled back causing the two Dragon sisters to only suffered grave injuries but not enough to take their lives since a Dragon’s vitality was far from humans.
As long as they were not killed, no matter how grievous injuries they had, they would still be able to recover.
Allen had done it because he wanted to have a good fight and second because those two dragons would never know how to stop before they can’t move anymore.
Right now, they were still in the Bianchi family’s health care center, one unconscious while the other one, named Dakna was recovering quite better.
A stark trumpet blast followed by the weak putter of a lawn mower in low gear.
Mia who was sensitive to the presence of others stirred in her sleep and woke up. She sleepily rubbed her eyes and after seeing Allen’s face so close, almost kissing her, a gentle smile appeared on her face. She once again closed her eyes and pushed her face against Allen’s chest, sniffing his extremely familiar smell and purred.

She looked like a kitten, spoiled and affectionate.
Their time was extremely peaceful and bliss. This was what she had always dreamed of; really it was like a dream…
--- ---
“Young Master,” a young pretty woman wearing a maid clothes called out. She fluttered her eyelashes under a thick layer of mascara. “Young Miss said that the report from the Philippines had already arrived and if you wanted to hear about it, she was just in her office…”
Allen lifted his head from the screen of the smartphone. He was playing a game, ‘Flappy Birds’
He wore a white collar shirt and trousers. He also wore glasses on his nose, which made him look sterner than usual. “Ok.” He nodded his head. “I’ll be right there.”
He wanted to have an image change for fun when he saw a magazine about models wearing glasses and had a sudden thought of wanting to try out.
The young servant was mesmerized by his smooth voice and she stood on the same spot by Mia and Allen’s room door.
Allen lifted his head again when he noticed the young servant didn’t leave. “Is there anything else?”
“Uh…” the young maid said and she blushed. “I… I wanted to ask you if you wanted to eat something, Young Master, I can bring you anything.”
She fidgeted like she was in front of her idol, of course, this was the case this time. She had already heard all about Allen. Being Thunder Emperor and all, possessing power and strength and had a very attracted appearance… who wouldn’t feel enchanted by him…
Looking at her unstable mentality status that was almost on the verge of pulling her phone and snatching photos, Allen’s smile turned into a mischievous grin.
“Oh, I think I would appreciate it,”
“Really?” The young servant was overjoyed. “What can I get for you, Young Master?”
“Hm, let’s see…” Allen thought for a moment and then with a mischievous smile, he said, “… what about you, love? Can I get you for my snack?”
“Eh?!” The Young servant’s eyes shot widely and her face immediately flushed as if all the blood rushed through her face. If this was an anime, smoke would have started coming out from her head.
“That… that’s,” She started fidgeting even more.
Allen chuckled at her reaction. “It’s just a joke. Well, I wouldn’t mind but please get me a chicken sandwich for now… thank you,”
The young servant flew off with a red face as if she was running away from a predator.
Allen took off his glasses and put it on the table in front of him.
He looked passed the window and see the blood-dyed sky and felt, what a peaceful time.
At this moment,
Ding! A familiar chime suddenly resounded, catching him surprised.
[ The monster [ Titan Ape ] had finished its evolution and become Lv7 [ Ape Knight ]! ]
Hoh…
Allen nodded his head satisfied. Formerly, the [ Titan Ape ] had undergone evolution from the Monkey King’s help and now it has finally managed to finish its evolution… and an [ Ape Knight ]?
Allen had never seen that kind monster before so he was actually curious and looking forward to seeing it.
Ding! Then another prompt window appeared.
[ Congratulations! Guardian Spirit Beast [ Lime ] had woken from its slumber! ]
What?!
Allen’s eyes widened in shock as extremely good news appeared before him.
His body suddenly lit up and Allen could feel something squirming inside of him.
“[ Lime ]!!” He called out.
A white light came out from his chest and landed on the table; materializing into a pale grey slime.
“Lime!!” Allen exclaimed in shock as he hurriedly scooped the adorable little slime he had missed deeply.
Pom, pom, pom, Lime made small jumps at the top of Allen’s hands and he could feel that it was expressing her joy from their reunion.
“Oh you poor fellow,” Allen rubbed Lime against his cheeks. “I missed you, buddy,”
Lime affectionately rubbed her body against Allen’s cheeks and a long tentacle suddenly extended, circling around Allen’s neck.

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes

Cursebreaker
I'm not writing this anymore unfortunately, and I probably won't ever continue it. I guess writing is more difficult than I thought Reto Mason woke up on a mountain, and it was all downhill from there. Until they hit floor, at which point I'm surprised they didn't die to be honest. That is, they didn't die yet. We'll see what happens This is a LitRPG which does have levels and stats, but is more focused on Accomplishments, although expect some more classic RPG stuff in the future. The main focus is on skills, and skill modification/evolution in that regard. Expect some weird 4th dimension stuff eventually, and the weird things that come from there.
