Layla and Xia Yi, on the other hand, didn’t show any kind of reaction… it seems like they have already known it beforehand.

“There was a war that would happen years later… it was cruel and ruthless war with no clear sight of winning.” Mia started narrating. She didn’t mind telling it to Aemie, after all, she was Allen’s biological mother. She ought to know.

Besides, with all their actions, everything had already changed to what they had known.

“Allen and I were one of the vanguards of a force with a goal to defend humanity. The resistance against the demon army.
